Mezban Restaurant & Caterers

My American and Mexican friends wanted to eat Pakistani food, so I took them to the Mezbaan restaurant. My friends liked the food here and the service is also very friendly. Fresh naan and puri were served on the table. My friends especially loved the gol guppe ,Halwa Puri, Biryani BBQ, and Paya loved them. Chicken sandwiches are very delicious. Also their staff is very nice and friendly. Highly recommend.

I reviewed a lot of restaurants and this was a hard one to do. I could not give any stars higher then what I gave. It was small place to begin with. I walked in an i had to ask if it was a buffet restaurant. Servers were nice but the food was not the best I had. They are next to their biggest competitor Tempura grill. They have to up their food game because most of the food was cold.

We checked out this place for a lunch buffet as hubby was craving tandoori chicken. We were excited about the buffet and the reviews we had heard but were disappointed. First off while it seems like they have a relatively large selection it all seems to hang out and get stale quickly. We got there around 2:45 on a Saturday for a lunch and it was not too busy but started to pickup. I am predominantly vegetarian and liked the potatoes but the puri was stale and oily and when I requested for a fresh batch it was no better. I did like the fact that they had pani puri but it was hard to get the filling and chutneys. Hubby got the rice and meats mostly chicken and while it was okay the rice he had tasted stale. It had a weird smell to it and you could tell it was either not washed properly or something was up with it. He obviously did not eat the rice. I got chai and that is one my key indicators for any desi restaurant. Unfortunately I did not like the chair here… it was not hot and did not taste good. The servers however were attentive and quick to pick up extra plates. Not sure if I will be back.

I recently enjoyed dining at this delightful restaurant in the heart of Houston, offering an incredible Indian and Pakistani buffet experience. Despite the bustling crowd, the abundance of food truly impressed me. The restaurant managed to maintain an impressive variety, ensuring there was always something new to try.

Every time we travel to Houston, TX this restaurant is our first stop. I have loved eating at Mezban for many years, frequently when i lived near but now we are several states away so we only travel to Houston once a year. Wonderful flavors, smells and friendly staff. If you like Indian food you will love Pakistani cuisine, especially at Mezban. 🥰😍🙂

The food tasted average but it didn't seem fresh since I got sick while I was there. I think two other customers were too. However, the service was great.

To go special signage outside the restaurant list pappri chat and Punjabi somoosa on special pricing but the manger refused to honor and said it’s old sign.

If you're in the mood for an abundance of Indian food for a pretty decent price, I'd say check out this buffet. It gives you a wide range of all sorts of Indian foods and all the naan your heart desires.Chicken sandwiches tasted have a Indian twist on it. Some of the things I enjoyed here is Paya, Chicken Tikka, Chicken 65, Haleem, Mutton Biriyani and much more 😋 I only got to try half the buffet since Indian food is so filling. I've brought up my ratings since their consistency is there. Within just this year I've been here 4 times. And majority of the food is spot and and they are bringing new foods. I would recommend one tries their snack bar as well. Definitely make yourself a few Pani Puri -it's fresh! If you have no idea what that is do yourself a favor and google how to make it before you come here. Ie. You can skip the butter chicken -dry and meh. Good amount of options if you're vegan!!
