Astral Tequila Cocktails in Sacramento | Eater

"This cozy Tahoe Park eatery offers both modern and authentic Mexican fare and comes equipped with a couple of TVs to catch a game while you eat. Don’t miss the choriqueso, a decadent Tex-Mex appetizer of spicy chorizo and melted Oaxacan cheese, or a piping hot molcajete loaded with steak, shrimp, and chicharron bacon. Of course, you’ll need something to wash it all down, like the Passion Tropical, a sweet and spicy cocktail made with Astral Blanco, mango, passion fruit, lime, and a kick of chipotle, that tastes like a vacation." - Bernadette Machard de Gramont

I just had a very nice 1st experience here at Mezcal Grill. I treated my close friend to a birthday dinner. The restaurant is cozy and busy. They have a really good Happy Hour that we arrived at the tail end of. We were able to get a few drinks and an appetizer before Happy Hour ended. The waitress was very nice and accommodating to get those items in right away for us and delivered to the table within minutes. I had a vegetarian burrito turned customized veggie bowl because I am eating clean April 1st through May 1st. I just added extra grilled veggies. My friend got a delicious looking enchilada plate which included Mexican rice and beans. The flavor of the guacamole was super delicious, I actually want to go back just for guacamole and chips. I didn't get to eat chips I ended up ordering some fries and dipping some in the guacamole to avoid eating chips I swapped for a little fried potato instead. The my food was full of flavor and I couldn't even eat it all. I had a margarita and was going to have a 2nd one. I wanted to try the lavender margarita and I was interested in capturing some cool photos but, our waitress was so busy waiting tables it was hard for us to catch her attention because we arrived during a very busy time of evening. She was a very good waitress but, she had to cover many tables & could have benefited from some extra help waiting tables. I changed my mind on the drink because, I wasn't able to get her attention again after she provided the drink menu. I waited & waved for 12-15 minutes. I started waving my card & asked for the bill. A guy came and grabbed the card & bill & sat the auto payment machine on the table & kept it moving. I am glad I didn't get the drink it would have taken too long to receive it in the time that I wanted to be drinking it. There was definitely a long wait in between asking for the drink menu, the bill, and having the payment processed. Drinks were good & food was good. We would have stayed later & had more drinks but, we had already made plans to do a little shopping across town before 9pm. I would love to go back and try some other food options when I am notcon a restricted diet and can eat more items besides whole foods, fresh fruits & vegetables.. Lol!!! #Guacamole is fire 🔥

If I lived in Sacramento, I would eat here every week. Local vibe. Relaxed service where food was out of kitchen quickly but let us take our time to enjoy the meal. Food was fresh and packed with flavor. Attentive but chill staff. Loved every part of our meal.

Ordered Steak fajitas. Food was good tasting but when I dipped my chip into my salsa there was a baby German roach on it (according to google). I’ve never seen these before and haven’t encountered this in my home. The roach appeared after I dipped my chip into the salsa/guac and wasn’t on there when I picked the chip up. I still ate my food after this, because I thought it was just a natural insect that comes sometimes with fresh vegetables. Upon searching the image, it came back as a roach and now I’m scared to eat the rest of my meal. Unfortunate as it tasted good but now a large portion has gone to waste.

Here I am again in Sactown with nothing better to do than look for the perfect taco! Sure, there's a lot of options, more than you could count, but today I'll be searching for the crunchy tacos like I had in San Bernadino way back when. I called my old pal Vladimir D. Impailer because he claims to know more about tacos than anyone, he says.."Tacos were invented in Romania by the Gypsies, because you could fold them in half and put them in your pocket while running from the police" Anyway....He said the Mezcal Grill makes some pretty great crunchy tacos! So, here I am, and they were Amazing! 5 ☆☆☆☆☆

Amazing food, very authentic. The atmosphere was very nice and the restaurant was clean. Our server Jazmine was incredible and attentive. I got a salmon salad, very delicious.

Google
so I was introduced to this place about a month ago and I've been there at least five times already. they are so good the quality of their meat is very tasty. The mango margarita is the best and a shout out to the bartender. see y'all soon!

Google
We had a wonderful dinner at Mezcal Grill on Broadway in Sacramento! I went with my family and everything from start to finish was great. The green enchiladas were especially delicious—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. I also had a michelada that was spot on—refreshing and just the right blend of flavors. The ambiance was lively and fun, making it a great spot for a casual night out. Prices were decent, and the service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and welcoming. We’ll definitely be coming back soon!

Came here on a Friday night with some friends we all ordered a large margarita which was a super great deal! Especially if you catch the happy hour, I ordered a V vegan impossible tacos and they were very flavorful and well-made. You get free chips and salsa as well. Will definitely be coming back!

Yelp
Wow I was blown away by their delicious food, large portions, affordable prices, and great customer service! Was craving Mexican cuisine a weekend evening and decided to try Mezcal Grill. I've passed by this restaurant a handful of times and always wanted to stop by. I am so glad I did! We were immediately seated when we arrived despite the restaurant being quite busy. The server quickly served us water and complimentary chips with salsa. We were so hungry that we finished our chips before even placing our order. Our server was so kind and attentive and brought out 2 more plates of chips and a variety of salsa for us to try! Their chips were perfectly fried and seasoned. They also had various salsa ranging from mild to spicy - all super yummy! We ordered their wet style mezcal burrito, super burrito, vegetarian burrito, and quesadilla plate. Everything was soooo delicious!! We selected the vegetarian fajita mix for our mezcal and vegetarian burritos. Both were very good but hands down, the vegetarian burrito was the best one! Just look at that cross section! It was so creamy and perfectly seasoned. Each bite was full of texture and flavor. I want to go back just for their vegetarian burrito! The super burrito and quesadilla plate was great too. We've never tried pastor impossible meat before and as vegetarians, we thought it was delicious and nothing like other imitation meat we've had before. Definitely worth a try if you're vegetarian or vegan! Their portion sizes are huge and prices are super affordable! Love that most dishes can be made vegetarian as they offer vegetarian fajita mix and impossible pastor meat as protein options. This is now one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in Sacramento! Will definitely be back very soon!

Yelp
This is definitely a bougie place in Tahoe Park. Parking is a bit difficult, but we were able to score a spot in the back (very tight for our minivan). The decor is super cute. Because it was hot, we opted for indoors, but the patio looked fun and plenty of folks were enjoying their dinners out there. There was a mix of folks, from couples to families, and we didn't feel out of place there at all. All the staff were friendly and accommodating. We got their basic margarita, which had plenty of tequila in it. I loved the mahi mahi tacos, which had a nice sauce with it. Rice and beans were great. I really enjoyed the spicy red sauce that came with the chips, and my partner preferred the green sauce, which was more sour. The churros with ice cream was a nice way to end the night. Overall, this is a solid spot for more upscale Mexican. I think the flavors could be a little more complex, but I'll have to check out more dishes. We will be back for sure!

Yelp
The restaurant is aesthetically pleasing, and I liked the option for outdoor seating. Parking was a bit limited, though. I honestly felt rushed to place my order, which was surprising since I went on a Saturday around noon and it wasn't busy at all. I ordered a cocktail that was refreshing and enjoyable. My friend and I tried the mole tostadas and the sopes. The sopes were tough to bite into, and the meat didn't have much flavor, at least not to my taste. The mole tostadas were better, but they also could've used more flavor. We also had chips with red and green salsa--both were okay but really needed a bit of

Yelp
Great option for Mexican food in Sac! I've come here several times now and I can safely say this is a go-to for a quick and casual dinner. They are super accommodating to both small and large groups, with plenty of seating both inside and out. The service is quick, and they offer free chips and an array of self-serve salsas. The wet burrito was a fun take with two different sauces that they lay on the burrito. Everything is very flavorful and their portions are huge!

Yelp
Slightly bougie/slightly authentic when it comes to Mexican food. I tried to Michelada, cucumber margarita, torta, and then enchilada/one crunchy taco plate. The bigger miche was good, humongous and came with Chicharrones that was really flavorful. Sometimes people make this drink really on the base however everything was perfectly curated with the perfect amount of tomato in it. As for the torta, it came with the mezcal sauce, which I personally thought tasted like tomato bisque soup, however, my husband is a huge fan of it. As for me, I really enjoyed the green enchiladas because the sauce was really good. I didn't know, however, like the crunchy taco, as it was a little dry in my opinion, it would be nice if they put a little small side of salsa on it. As for the chips and salsa, the tomatillo salsa was probably some of the best that I had in a while. I did not however really care for the red salsa. As for the service, they were really fast however, kind of lagged on giving us our check. I'm not sure if it was because they wanted us to just enjoy our time on the patio, but that could be the reason. I really like how there is indoor and outdoor seating because on a sunny day, you can sit outside and soak up the sun. Parking is scarce

Yelp
Food was delicious here! Large menu with great options. Chips and salsa complimentary and fresh. Super burritos were huge and chocked full of good stuff. Flan was also very good. Service excellent!

Yelp
Ehh, is the one word that would describe this place. Tequila selection....good, food....ok, service.....the WORST. Have tried this place twice now in about 10 days and we have decided to never go back merely due to the lack of customer service and slow bar. Too many other great Mexican restaurants in town to be ok with it.
google avatar

Sarah A.

Yelp
Pretty solid spot for Mexican food! The place is very cute and the servers have always been friendly when I've gone. If you're looking to sit outside and enjoy some nice weather they have a really nice patio, which means it's also dog friendly if you wanna bring your furry friends. Now, let's get to the food. They have a pretty extensive selection on the menu and the prices are great for the portions! They also bring complementary chips and salsa. The chips were a little bland and hard but that was my only gripe. I got the enchilada and taco plate and my friend for the fajita plate. We were both very satisfied with our dishes! They were both really good! The Mexican rice was really soft and flavorful and I loved the enchiladas with green sauce. The drinks looked really good, def need to get one the drinks next time I visit! It was really busy, so come early to find parking. There is a small parking lot but it may be full, otherwise you can find street parking.

Yelp
Good service but food was pretty mid in my opinion. We had to add salt to both salsas that were served to us. The fajita platter was okay but VERY heavy on the bell peppers and very thinly sliced steak. The flavor of the steak was just ok. I will say their rice was amazing! Free chips and salsa are definitely a plus - not something you find at all Mexican restaurants in town. Overall vibes in the restaurant were great with lots of happy tables, they also have a great outdoor patio to enjoy.

Yelp
Best food and service my partner and I have ever had !!! The food hands down was amazing. Drinks are 10/10

Yelp
An old coworker recommended Mezcal Grill. It's a great casual place. It's got modern decor, has a bar, and it's clean and well maintained. There's also indoor and outdoor seating. I went on a Friday and the place was lively and busy. The service was friendly and the food was delicious. I got a two taco dinner plate with rice and beans, and my husband got a carnitas quesadilla with rice and beans. There's also complimentary chips and salsa. It was also reasonably priced too! Wish we had one closer to my neighborhood...

Yelp
This place is good! Food was satisfying. I especially enjoyed the chile relleno. It was oozing with cheese and the flavor and texture were perfect. It was covered in a delicious, creamy sauce (I could drink it). I also ordered the cheese enchilada, which was okay. It wasn't my favorite because I did find the sauce to be pretty bitter but all in all it was fine. My entree came with sides of rice and beans, which were also very good...I just wish I had more of it. We ordered to go and this could have contributed to smaller portion sizes since the images from the menu appear to have more. Our meal came with chips but we also ordered veggie nachos, which were also pretty good. I wish it had more flavor...maybe it needed more sour cream and beans but it seemed to be mostly chips and cheese with the fajita mix. Overall I enjoyed the food and would order from here again. Everything was packaged well and presented in an appetizing way. I overall enjoyed my meal and would give everything a solid 4 stars with the exception of the chile relleno, which deserves a 5. Solid choice for Mexican food in the Sacramento area.

Yelp
Completely acceptable. We tried this place again for a second time, and while we didn't hate it, we didn't love it. The prices were slightly on the steep side considering the food was pretty average. I wish I could say I'd be back because it's easy to get to, but there isn't enough to pull me back in. The service was quick and friendly, and the prices are fair. I'd say that's enough for everyone to come in and try it themselves, once, or twice, like we did.

Yelp
Mezcal Grill is such a great option for Mexican food in Sac! The staff here is so accommodating and nice to big or small parties. We ordered Tacos de Papas and a Vegetarian Burrito bowl (Special points goes to this place because you can turn most burritos into bowls at no extra charge!). The tacos were crispy and delicious! We loved the presentation and the simplicity of the rice and beans on the side. The burrito bowl was loaded with rice, beans, fajita veggies, pico, sour cream, guac. It was good and super filling. But, I do think both items needed some hot sauce or salsa to elevate them a little because they were a bit bland. Overall, I think this is one of the better options for mexican food in Sac. Def worth a try!

Yelp
Great happy hour, wonderful staff who are efficient and kind. I started going here regularly and never disappoints

Yelp
Finally fulfilled the desire to try this place out and left satisfied! Mezcal Grill is located in the Tahoe Park area. They do offer parking behind the restaurant, but I will say it'll be a tight squeeze especially those with larger vehicles. We ended up parking on the street not too far from the restaurant. We came in on a Saturday around 4 PM and surprisingly it was not busy at all. Our party of 6 was quickly greeted and taken to our seats. We were given menus right away and asked if we wanted to place our drink orders. They offer tables of 4 and 6. They offer complimentary chips and two different salsas. I feel the menu has quite a bit to offer so we took some time to order food. Here is what was ordered for drinks: Blackberry margarita, Cadillac margarita, watermelon margarita, and Paloma. I didn't order an alcoholic beverage, but my family said they offer regular and large sizes. Everyone at my table ordered regular, but I was able to spot someone who ordered a large a they are massive. Everyone enjoyed their drinks! For food: bean dip, nachos with pastor, chicken mole tostadas, asada and ground beef sopes, mole enchiladas and chile relleno plate. The food didn't take long to come out, but once it did, we were pleasantly surprised. Everything looked delicious! None of us had any complaints. Very decent portion sizes, flavorful, tender meat, and fresh! My go-to meal is always nachos and usually I feel bloated after consuming, but despite the portion size of these nachos I did not feel stuffed, but I was extremely satisfied! For all our meals and drinks our tab came out to about $190, which was surprising because we thought it would be more. We thought the meals were fairly priced. Also, I know a lot of Mexican restaurants don't always offer mole, but they do! Awesome! The staff were attentive, friendly, and checked in with us frequently. Our waters were always filled and staff continuously made sure we had everything we needed. I came with my cousins who I haven't seen in some time so bonding over some good food was just what we needed and made our quality time together even better! I'll definitely be back!

Yelp
Mahi mahi salad with mango was fantastic! Fish was perfection! Large portion of salad greens! Service was excellent! Very good chips and salsa! Interior of the restaurant is modern and the music was on point! Can't wait to go back to this awesome place!

Lexie L.

Yelp
This is hands down my favorite spot for food and drinks! The vibe is always great, the menu never disappoints, and the drinks are top tier. I highly recommend checking it out--you won't regret it!

Yelp
Great service and food. We will definitely be returning soon. The margaritas were nice as well. Cute little spot in Tahoe Park neighborhood with a fun vibe and ambiance.
google avatar

Yelp
Let me start by saying my friend unfortunately got sick so he's content on never returning....understandable So 1 Star taken away for his tummy debacle from his steak burrito. While they were understaffed the evening we went the service was still overall good. I love love love a good mole sauce and my mole enchiladas were delicious. And the drinks were not only refreshing but they were also strong and yummy to the taste. Also can't say no to complementary chips and dips. Whew one was spicy but equally tasty. This place is located down the street from my place so u will definitely be checking it out again.

Yelp
Mezcal Grill is a neighborhood spot. I've driven and biked by it so many times, but never popped in until this year when some friends wanted to grab food after riding. It's not bad. 3.5 stars, but rounded to four. Service is fast. They let you bring your bikes into the patio area. The menu is quite extensive, so it can get overwhelming. I usually get the ceviche combo. The Impossible (vegan) tacos are far better than the ones I had at Bambi. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here, but it'll do in a pinch.
google avatar

Rocky S.

Yelp
Called for a reservation for a party of 11. A casual wedding dinner with family. We placed our drink orders quickly and waited a while for them to come to us. Then we got them and placed our food orders. It then took quite a while for the food to come in. They trickled in one by one in waves. So we all ate at different times. The food was ok and we didn't let that stop our celebration. The bill was over $400. We still tipped. Just didn't like that they couldn't meet the needs knowing they had a reservation.

Yelp
I visited the original location in Natomas first and it was amazing! Then I found out there was a new location on Broadway and I was so excited, as I work down the street. This has become one of my go-tos for lunch, as the food is delicious, authentic, and reasonably priced. And the restaurant is very nice, clean and spacious and with friendly staff. The only issue I occasionally run into, is parking. Some of my favorites plates include green chicken enchiladas, mole enchiladas, tacos de papa, nachos, and sopes de nopales. So many great options. Highly recommended.
google avatar

Sunshine D.

Yelp
Hidden gem outside of downtown and luckily close to my neighborhood. We came for an early happy hour and were NOT disappointed! The staff was amazing to talk to and gracious when we realized we ended up being the last people in the place! The food was great, and WOW, the margaritas were sublime! They cannot help the area being a little sketchy, which was the only thing that kept us from eating outside. Overall a nice experience!
google avatar

Andrea M.

Yelp
Really good cocktails and yummy food, this is our go to when we need a margarita and some enchiladas.

Brenna B.

Yelp
Lovely meal. The food and drinks never disappoint! Shout out to our boy Miguel and the bar. His drinks are amazing!
google avatar

Yelp
Great service! The recent remodel really adds a nice vibe to the place. It's my go-to local spot for a good Michelada drink and a delicious bite when I'm just not in the mood to cook dinner. I definitely recommend checking it out!
google avatar

Kevin M.

Yelp
google avatar

Yelp
Came here for happy hour, margaritas were great and burritos were huge! Our service was great and quick. Check them out :)

Yelp
My family and I came here for dinner. I was first served a dirty water cup--which should've been red flag #1. My mom and I both ordered chimichangas. When they arrived, we started eating, and as we were eating, my mother discovered a long, disgusting hair in her food. I immediately stopped eating mine because 1) I lost my appetite, and 2) I didn't know if both meals were cooked by the same person using the same pan. We got up right away and asked for the check for my sister's and dad's meals. The manager was already reluctant to comp one meal. When my mom asked her to comp both, since I didn't eat mine, the manager responded, "If you can find the hair in the other one, then I'll refund you," as if cross-contamination isn't a real concern. Meanwhile, she was scratching her head--probably contaminating everything else she touched. Neither the server nor the manager showed any real concern or offered an apology. This place is disgusting, and the supervisor was completely disrespectful.

Niki L.

Yelp
This is our go-to spot for Mexican food at least once a month. We always get the tostada plate and some kind of burrito. The mole on the tostada is a great contrast to the veggies and carnitas. The beans and rice alone make Mezcal standout! Don't miss the salsa bar and fresh tortilla chips. The dinner seating is consistently lively with the chatter of coworkers, friends, and families. The servers are quick to greet you and service is quick.
google avatar

Paul S.

Yelp
Wanted to find a New Mexican restaurant to try. This place did not disappoint!! And ordered chili verde , beer with Tajin on the rim yum, side of guacamole snd chips. My wife got a large blackberry margarita ( it's s big one) , and sopes. The device was great and the food options and drinks looked so good. We will be back to try more drinks and food.
google avatar

Nathan Z.

Yelp
Be careful with the margaritas. They taste great and go down easy. Friday night was jumpin, but getting a seat was quick. Staff were friendly and helpful. The decor is bright and fresh. We both had the enchilada taco plate. You get to pick the meat and sauce. If you like spicy you will be able to customize that. Rice and beans were seasoned well but mild. This will be a regular stop.
google avatar

Robynn J.

Yelp
The food made up for quality of service we got from the girl that initially sat us down. Our actual server was very kind and attentive. I had the molcajete de camarones and mezcal Michelada. The molcajete de camaron was delicious. The shrimp was cooked perfectly and the flavor was excellent! The shrimp was also cleaned very well. Most restaurants get lazy and don't properly clean out their shrimp but Mezcal Grill didn't miss with this one. The Mezcal Michelada was it was huge (32oz) and so good! I will definitely be back to try more of their menu!

Brooke T.

Yelp
My first experience here was phenomenal! We came in a little after 7pm and were sat almost immediately. The service throughout our time here was exceptional. We sat on the patio and the vibes were perfect. The food was amazing and the drinks were some of the best I've ever had. I will definitely be returning. If you have a chance you check this place out, take it!

Yelp
Came in early Saturday afternoon. TL;DR: Good food, great prices, good portions, good chips, great salsa. Go. Got the mole chicken enchilada plate. They don't skimp on the meat. Nice portions for the price. Also got (2) street tacos. They were pretty good, (1) carnitas, (1) carne asada. Meat...meat...all the meat. Got the horchata also, although I would've preferred it be water based vs milk based. All in all, quick service, nice open seating (and outside seating). I saw a patron tree (you read that right), and it will be something I get on my next visit.
google avatar

Cassandra C.

Yelp
I'm a sucker for presentation when it comes to my glass ware. Yummy margarita and made to my peronalized spice level. This was a new location and everyone was busy working hard to help the customers get seated and order food. I just had a drink but I saw a burrito and it was huge!
google avatar

Max W.

Yelp
Have eaten here before (and may have even reviewed this place before) and yesterday I was back in town so my dad, uncle, and I stopped by for lunch! I got the taco Mexicano plate which was good, it was two chicken street tacos with rice and beans, very tasty and good prices for what you get! Service was fast and very helpful and friendly! The feel of ambience of the restaurant is nice as well! Overall a nice experience once again and I'd recommend for sure!

Yelp
Went back last night (Saturday evening around 7pm) and I was pretty disappointed. The service was all over the place with tables getting incorrect orders and long wait times, but I figured thats a common variable depending on how overloaded kitchen/staff can get. I also thought it would be worth the wait, but the enchilada plate I ordered was not reminiscent of the first time I went. I ordered shrimp and I think there were maybe 6 small shrimp total. The red sauce was bitter, tortillas were tough like they hadn't been fully cooked or were frozen, and everything was over salted. Also the outside patio is beautiful, but the gate slamming as staff went in and kills the vibe and is entirely preventable. Oh and the people smoking on the sidewalk 5 feet from dining tables and no staff telling them to move was not cool. I would love to go back some time because I know there's an awesome chef in that kitchen that was overwhelmed or relied on other staff too much, but it will be a while for me.

Yelp
This restaurant was packed on a Friday night about 6pm, which is a good sign. Parking was limited in their parking lot, but there is street parking nearby. It took about 15 minutes for our table to be ready. Once sat, we ordered the Molcajete and it was HUGE. It came with plenty of meat and 2 sets of the side dishes. My boyfriend and I could not finish the meal, so it was definitely a good deal for the amount of food you got. We also tried the mahi mahi taco and potato taco, both very good. I'm rating 4 starts because the horchata was terrible. It tasted like it was from a mix and there was 0 cinnamon flavor. All other items we ordered were delicious though.

Yelp
Really great food, service, & vibes... not to mention, they have a salsa bar where you can grab warm chips as well. Wow.
google avatar

Morris J.

Yelp
When I walked in nobody paid any attention to me. I was hungry and had a reservation for 6, so I let it go. Plus, i thought ILOVE Mexican food! This place will be great I was wrong. The ceviche was dry and the service continued to be poor. They barely made eye contact the whole time. All 6 of us were unimpressed with the food. I would avoid this place unless you are desperate for basic nourishment.
google avatar

Katerina M.

Yelp
The customer service was great. Got the hibiscus margarita which was pretty strong but tasted good. I also got the enchiladas plate. The enchiladas were yummy and the flavor was all there!! The rice could have had more flavor but was still tasty. Overall the atmosphere was friendly and cozy. I definitely would come back to try more. :))

Yelp
I love checking out a new Mexican food restaurants and this one definitely impressed us! The inside has a decent amount of seating with a full bar and lots of salsas to choose from. We were greeted with complimentary chips and salsa once we sat down, but the chips tasted a little stale. We ordered the Tacos Mexicano (Carnitas, Al Pastor and Carne Asada), Ground Beef Soft Taco, Kid's Bean and Cheese Burrito and the Choriqueso to start with. My husband liked the Carnitas taco a lot, but said the Al Pastor and Carne Asada seemed to taste as if they had been cooked for too long. We really enjoyed the Choriqueso, but some veggies would have pushed it over the top. Maybe some bell peppers or onions? Service was very friendly and we will definitely be back next time we are in the area!

Yelp
We came by on a really busy night. The wait time for our food was really high and we waited about an hour. However, I commend the staff (the staff were great and understanding) and the food was great. I see myself coming here during a less busy time. It's nice inside with a fun environment and there is even seating outside available. They also have an interactive salsa bar! Despite the wait time tonight, I would recommend coming here for their food.

Yelp
My husband and I came here today for an early dinner. He ordered the Chimi. I ordered the Enchilada and taco plate along with a large margarita. Everything we ordered was very good. I like how my móle tastes like fresh chili. My asada taco was seasoned very well. The temp of our food was hot and it came fast! Nothing was greasy at all. My large margarita was like drinking out of a fish bowl and the citrus was fresh tasting. My husband and I were very satisfied with all we ordered and will be back. The service was very friendly and attentive. Ambiance was very clean and fresh looking.

Yelp
Food is good but the service is consistently terrible. I've visited this place probably close to 10 times. No one ever comes by to refill water or even ask if we want a second beer. Makes the experience very poor. Staff are kind of unfriendly.

Yelp
Average food, However the Drinks were water down, customer support needs to pay attention to all patrons not just pick and choose who they want to help I had to ask where the water was after 15 minutes, then I had to ask for the check, might as well ask me to go wash my own dishes. I will not be going back.

Yelp
Can't believe this was my first time here, but it won't be my last! Best rice and beans I've had in Sac! This was the chicken taco plate(Sorry I ate a taco lol). We also ordered this super cute Patron Margarita tower, they have so many flavors. We ordered Lavender, Hibiscus, and Strawberry Can't forget the super large Strawberry Margarita! I'll def be coming back!
