The best restaurant I’ve been in Los Cabos. They have a set menu that is inspired by food markets all over Mexico and it made me want to go to each one of them. All the taste combinations made perfect sense, everything was prepared with so much care and the waiters knew how to explain it all to us very well in English or Spanish. Michelin is never wrong ✨✨

This restaurant is outstanding. The chef draws on traditional Mexican cuisine and updates it in contemporary ways. The ingredients are hyper fresh and the culinary techniques are creative and skillful. The service is outstanding. This is one of our best restaurant experiences ever.

This entire resort is incredible and the Mezcal restaurant is a perfect example of why. The service is literally prescient they seem to know what you need before you ask. The attention to detail and client satisfaction is just amazing. A team of staff seamlessly serves you and makes sure all is perfect with your meal. The food is so fresh, delicious, and unique. I have had several meals here during my stay and every one has been amazing! Try the chef tasting menu if it’s available! The chef actually stepped out and explained each dish to me. I wish I could give it 6 stars.

Mezcal delivers pure excellence in their food, service and atmosphere, a success of a place. Ricardo Kauffman gave us complementary dishes that were spectacular, a very funny man. We ordered many dishes that all were truly a work of art. The three dishes I liked the most were number 1 the taco wagyu, a heavenly taco. Number 2 the e pork, and number 3 the tamal. Amazing place, amazing chefs, amazing food.

Insanely great service. Over the top friendly and knowledgeable. They put our togo bag on a stool next to us. Food was one of the best meals I’ve had all year. Loved the mole bread and Mexican cornbread, tamale, mole chicken, sea bass and ceviche. Beautiful restaurant. My photos kinda suck but it’s a phenomenal restaurant.

One of the most memorable meals you can have in Mexico. Mezcal was listed in the Michelin list of best restaurants in Cabo and it did not disappoint. Try the lamb birria, the tamal or suckling pig. All dishes are beautifully presented and the flavor is spectacular. It is an experience. The staff is lovely and warm. Worthy every penny. A must do in Cabo

A must try if staying at Montage. Very vibrant and fun interior. The menu is pricey, but very exquisite and the food will amaze your palate.

Elite. Every player was progressively better. Food was unique and perfectly cooked. Impeccable.

We ended up coming here twice for dinner. The first time was for our anniversary and they made it so special. Service was very attentive. We had several small plates, all were very good. We were very full so skipped the main course and had the chocolate tamal for dessert and they brought us an entremet type dessert as well. Both were soooo good. The second time we ordered it for room service and they were able to accommodate, as we previously left another dinner hungry. We had the kampachi and carne asada with mashed potatoes. Although the carne asada was slightly over cooked, the flavor was so incredibly good- I didn't care. The potatoes were perfect and they left a little nice touch of bite sized desserts. I feel like in the restaurant and room service both, they went above and beyond. This was our favorite meal in Cabo.

Fabulous place with fabulous service and food. Expensive but worth it. We had a party of 7 for my birthday. We brought our own wine from our own collection. We were informed that typically they have a two bottle limit as we brought five. But they waived the restriction for us. The music trio was were exactly match to the ambiance. We were all wowed. And that hard to do in today's world of over charging for mediocre meals by known chefs. The hotel and its grounds were beautiful. They did not miss a beat. The sommelier made the experience that much more enjoyable. Highly recommend.

Been here both for breakfast and dinner on my stay at Montage and loved it. Fresh ingredients, great service and views. They have a separate vegan menu for dinner.

I didn't eat here, but I did the cocktail-making class which was amazing! The mixologist was extremely knowledgeable and took us through the process of making a Cozobi, Queztal, and Tlaloc from their menu. Not only did the cocktails look amazing, but they tasted even better. It was a fantastic experience which is highly recommended!

Great Food and ambiance. Nice for group get togethers after a long adventurous day in Cabo. The staff is very friendly and professional.

Phenomenal all the way around! Loved the short rib empanada. And best amuse bouche and entrements ever! Desserts to die for.

Incredible place. This is our 3rd visit to the Montage Los cabos. Mezcal is excellent. To preface, I made a res at Arbol for our anniversary dinner. Not to sh*t on arbol but the food was mediocre. Not worth the price tag. We were not impressed and left. Decided to have our main back at the hotel. We dined here. The mole is better than pujol, hands down. Loved the added live music feature. The food is the best. Planning to return next year for my bday

Extravagant presentation of Mexican cuisine. We thought it was top notch experience-- food, drinks, service and decor. We stayed at Montage and Mezcal was our go-to for brunch and our favorite of the three dinner spots on premise. Buen provecho.

We are staying in the condo's above this restaurant for a week. We tried it because it was close and easy. It had a few good reviews and so we tried it. So glad we did! Food quality was excellent. The clay fired pizza was amazing and the salads were top shelf. We are vegetarian and they gladly modified a few menu items to suit our preferences. We will definitely be back. Due to a passing storm, we weren't able to eat outside. The only negative was a lack of mask-wearing by everyone inside -- except our waiter who put one on when we walked in wearing them. Check out their excellent food!

First time to this property since a The Montage takeover - repeat guests going back to childhood with the twin dolphin for decades Service at Mezcal was mediocre at best for the extremely high priced tamales and empanadas I could go as far to say our main server was rude - Had to ask multiple times for wine order and when that finally arrived low pour No thanks At the Palmilla we will stay

Incredible food. I've eaten at almost all the top resort restaurants and this one has the highest quality food and the most creative presentation. They are going after a Michelin star and they have a realistic chance to get one. It's that good.

Probably my favorite restaurant in Cabo. Seriously, it is phenomenal. I loved the 7 course tasting menu and really like that Cabo now has a few world class restaurants. Mezcal is certainly one of them. To the point where we booked two evenings within 5 and are ending our trip and last evening in Cabo, at Mezcal. Go. To. Here.

Best meal we had in Cabo. Opted for the 7 course tasting menu and it was a real treat. We have dined at some incredible restaurants around the world and this was up there with the best of them. The head chef Odin Rocha personally came out while each course was served and explained the Mexican markets that served as the inspiration for each dish. The food, the presentation, the wine parking, and the service were all top notch. A can't miss dining experience while visiting Cabo.
