Yelp
Needed something healthy and wanted to visit Downtown Crown - had not been the area in a while. Decided to visit this restaurant - had their food once at a Yelp event, however this might have been my first time visiting since that event.
On this visit, I had a Bowl with (base) Spinach & Brown Basmati Rice, (protein) Chicken Shwarma (spicy), Turkey Kefta - I wanted to taste it, Shredded Lamb, (toppings) Lebanese Tabbouleh, Israeli Couscous, Quinoa Salad, Roasted Corn, Dried Cranberries, Walnuts, Cherry Tomatoes & Classic Hummus and for my sauce, which I got on the side, Baslamic Vinaigrette.
As I sat to eat, I poured a little of the sauce in my bowl and just ate (didn't shake it up or anything). I did enjoy everything except 2 items. I did not like the Lebanese Tabbouleh - my first time eating it. They probably made it well - I just was not a fan of it, based on my preference. I also did not like the shredded lamb - it tasted good, but I felt it was missing something.
What I really enjoyed:
Chicken Shwarma - go figure as I don't like anything spicy, but enjoyed eating this - I think the rest of the items in my bowl probably cooled down the heat for me.
Turkey Kefta - I really enjoyed this and wished I had more in my bowl. Maybe I will try the Lamb Kefta on my next visit even though it will be $1.50 extra (I hope that is not the price for each).
Couscous - my first time tasting these yellow, tiny, soft things...Yum. I will be back for sure.
