Tucked away in the courtyard of a historic mansion on Svetlogorska Street, this Greek restaurant feels like one of those hidden gems you stumble upon while wandering through the old town. Step inside, and you’re welcomed not just with food, but with the warmth of a family table - complete with “homemade” wines from local grape varieties.
We came here with two families and shared a variety of dishes, along with house wines from Crete. The experience was rich and memorable: fresh ingredients, bold flavors, and salads served in generous portions. Desserts were also excellent - the krempita in particular was a sweet note to end on.
The only misstep was the gyros, which was a bit too dry, but in the grand scheme of things it hardly spoiled the evening.
A wonderful discovery, and one I’d wholeheartedly recommend to fellow travelers.
