MEZZANINE

Bravo to the success this restaurant has, I give many thanks to the wonderful meal I was privileged to enjoy. Everything about my experience here was over the top amazing! From the service that never slipped on timing and attentiveness, to the beautiful dishes the cooks prepared, I was completely satisfied in every way possible! I didn't know it till they came to my table but the soda isn't regular Coke and Sprite brands, it's different companies I haven't even heard of that use very easy ingredients plus real sugar! They were so good!! All of us ended having the Refugee chef Dinner, was an easy descision to make. It was a uniquely constructed 3-course meal put together by a refugee chef, and it's a meal that is traditionally enjoyed in their country of origin! I was blowing only if I have wonderful that experience was yeah, and for a relatively cheap price from what you would expect! Took definitely all the thinking away from hard descision making, which makes my life easier. And I don't regret that decision at all!! Of course the warm bread I must comment on as well because it was addicting, so nice that our table of four people had a CONSTANT stock of it! Just ask, they'll bring. Wow what a great way to start my night, worth every penny that's for sure. =^_^=

I love this venue. When it's full the mezzanine is awesome, but even when it's half full the crowd is amazing! Intimate and friendly. Will always see a group or artist if they perform here.

Great concert hall. Sound and size. Could use more seating options. I must say I was offered a chair since I was on crutches. I will definitely go back there for more live music.

This was my first time here. Locals who we went to college with brought us and it was lit! Really open so u can see the stage/DJ/performance well. There’s an upper area, hence the mezzanine name. Bottle service and pretty dank drinks. Wine was awful tho lol.

I was at Slaptop show and it was amazing! the club is big they have a lot of bars and the music and the sounds systems are very good check it out

Can get pretty busy but have good talent come play the venue, so sometimes it's worth braving the crowds. Come early, hangout up stairs and get your buzz on before it gets too packed.

Sound was good, enough room on the Dance floor and bit was very well ventilated, air conditioning

Decent venue with decently priced drinks. Saw two different artists I recently discovered perform here. Atmosphere here is pretty chill as I raged dance during one show and no one hassled my for constantly bumping into them and stepping on their feet. The only downfall of course is the security. I understand it's their job to keep a clear pathway so people can move about the venue, but during the second show I was at, I was extremely packed and the security guys kept upping the bass on their voice when telling people to move even though it was virtually impossible.

I came here for a conference after-party, and there's a pretty cool vibe here. There was a stage for a live band, though the music was way too freaking loud at that event. Great sound setup, at any rate. There was also a presentation projecting onto one of the walls. Definitely scoping out this place for one of the future special events that I plan. Love that Mezzanine is spacious and lives up to its name with the upstairs mezzanine level!

This event is for the use of Mezzanine's event space. Last Thursday, I ran a networking event at the Mezzanine and it went swimmingly. Megan, the coordinator, worked with me on every detail and responded to me at all hours pre, during and post event! She introduced me to everyone on her team and transitioned the day-of coordinator very well. I was mostly impressed by the events team. The event was SO well staffed: security detail, lighting designer, A/V specialist, production manager, coat check, etc... This was all for my event of 100-150 people. I would highly reccomend Mezzanine for an event in the future. I got many compliments on the unique use of the space, and I look forward to using them again!

Always a great place to hit up for some dancing, lounging and drinks. Good drinks, awesome sound! I saw SOHN perform here and it was perfect, great lighting and the sound was killer. Drinks are solid, not crazy expensive. Bathrooms are not a nightmare (women's) thankfully...and no joke, that will determine whether or not I go back to a place. The smoking room is an open air spot in the back, not a lounge though, but you don't have to leave the venue for a smoke. You don't pass it coming in either, which is great. I also booked them for a private corporate event a while back and they nailed every aspect, spectacularly! The set up was fantastic and the bar, sound and ease of arranging outside vendors to the space was as straight forward. Megan, the events director, is extremely communicative, truly a top notch professional.

Most people just think of Mezzanine for concerts but it can be transformed into any atmosphere you're looking for to host special events! We held a corporate event here and the branding opportunities offered by the numerous flat screens and projectors make getting your message across to your audience a snap. We had food trucks out back in the alley which were a huge hit with our party-goers and the custom in-house lighting was brought our event to life! The Mezzanine event staff was one of the best I've worked with in this city. Event management & pre-planning by Megan was outstanding. Not only was she super accommodating to our group but she's also personable, organized, responsive and creative in her ideas. She has strong relationships with outside vendors which was helpful in planning our event. Al, the House Manager took care of us during the event and was on top of every little detail. She is very skilled at anticipating your needs and has a get-shit-done attitude. She is amazing and great to work with and enabled me to actually get to enjoy my own event. Mezzanine exceeded our expectations as a special event venue and we'll definitely be using them again for future corporate events!

Came on 8/19/17, worst experience of my life, they said it would start at 9pm it started at 1 am filled the time with DJs. Venue with post in the center middle. Never coming back.

This is a great venue for events. We've been involved with several of the corporate productions here over the last year and have always been impressed with the professionalism of the event staff, technical knowledge of the crew and the ability for Mezzanine to handle large scale events. We love this venue and would highly recommend it to anyone who is seeking a place to hold an event. Nice work Mezzanine!

My lovely girlfriend and I, attended a JMSN concert here last weekend. It was our first time at this venue and I was not sure what to expect, considering the surrounding area which seemed... rundown. But we were pleasantly surprised, and out of the many different venues we have been to in the Bay Area, Mezzanine was one of our favorites. We love the atmosphere it created, and we felt very groovy. The drinks were not to expensive and had very nice bathrooms. The place seemed to draw a crowd just as clean as it's bathrooms. I hope to come here again soon. Cheers, Jarrett

I was there for a private party. The venue and the band were nice. The only drawback was the lady in the coatroom who was mean and rude. She did not hang my clothes properly; one of my sweaters was found on the floor when I went to get my clothes. Not just that, she made a big hole on my sweater due to her improper way of hanging patrons' clothes.

Mezzanine is a great venue! As a coordinator who has planned many events, this place does it all. It is within easy walking distance of the Moscone Center and can handle events from 75 to 1000 people (the space can be modified to make any size group feel appropriate). They have in-house bar service and an upstairs space which is perfect for a VIP lounge. They're experts in sound and light for live performances or general ambiance. The preferred catering list is curated and professional. Megan is a breeze to work with too. I have suggested this venue to many clients and will continue to do so! It also has a cool urban-chic feel which is so popular these days.

Terrible experience, pole in the center in front of the stage, performer was very late. Never returning again.

I've worked with Megan to throw two corporate events at the Mezzanine and couldn't be happier with how they both turned out. We had quite a few vendors (roller skating company, catering, balloon company, beverage sponsor, etc) and Megan was organized and assisted in coordinating them for set up. Their lighting was on point and created the perfect ambiance for our rollerskating themed event. They also have a good amount of screens throughout the venue which made it easy to broadcast our company's branding and create a cohesive feel for the entire venue.

My company hosted an event at the Mezzanine last year, and from start to finish they were absolutely incredible to work with! The space is amazing -- really big, great vibe, and they had their own light guy come and set up everything according to how our event was laid out (we had 8 PING PONG tables, and he got the lighting PERFECT). The entire staff is really professional and nice to boot -- seeing as how I am not an event planner (by day) they stepped in and helped us out a LOT with the entire event, from location of bars to how to set our tables up to where to put the food...the whole nine yards. And as I mentioned earlier, we had ping pong tables in there...the Mez team can really handle anything you throw at them. All in all, 5 stars across the board. Will definitely be working with them again in the near future.

For the past 10 years Mezzanine has hosted Access Institute's annual gala and art auction fundraiser. It's an ideal location for our event and has the perfect classy urban vibe -state of the art lighting and sound. Art looks amazing on the large concrete walls. The Megan and all the staff are always right there to assist us and are a delight to work with. Every year they are part of making our event a big success.

The Mezzanine rocks and nobody puts together a better event than Megan! We decided to throw a corporate party - fully catered, live band, 3 full bars. The Mezzanine was the place to go - a rockin venue close to the Moscone. They were able to not only accomodate our needs, but went WAY above and beyond. They had a full security team and thought of everything we didn't. Everyone had a blast!
