Mediterranean pitas, salads, grains & rice bowls with a choice of proteins, mezzes & toppings.
"Located in the Triangle, this fast-casual Turkish kitchen is the perfect lunch or casual dinner spot, offering easy meals like wraps, salads, soups, rice bowls, and tons of other mezzes. The traditional iskender — a sliced beef and lamb doner kebab with yogurt served on a bed of warm homemade pita bread and tomato sauce — is a star on the menu. Stay to dine in its dining room or on the nice patio, with a view of its fountain. If in a rush, diners can always order to-go or place their orders online." - Erin Russell, Sana Khan
"The Turkish fast-casual restaurant in the Triangle switched to focus on well-rounded Mediterranean plates with entrees (beef and lamb döner, shrimp, vegetable skewers, falafel), vegetables, rice, and salads. Takeout orders can be placed online or in person; there are indoor and outdoor dine-in services." - Darcie Duttweiler
"For fast-casual Turkish: MezzeMe might be one of the best casual grain-bowl restaurants in Austin. The beef and lamb doner entree comes with thinly shaved juicy bits of meat, plus accompanying grains, tart pickled vegetables, densely thick pita, and very spicy harissa. To round out the meal, the grape leaf dolmas are sturdy and the small pistachio baklava packs a lot of balanced sweetness. While the restaurant is open for dine-in service, takeout and delivery orders can be placed online." - Erin Russell
"Fast-casual Mediterranean restaurant MezzeMe Turkish Kitchen opened its second location on the Drag today, Monday, September 30. The menu for the campus restaurant, much like the original Austin location in the Triangle, focuses on customizable meals using pitas, wraps, grains, or salads, plus proteins like beef/lamb doner, kabobs, falafels, vegetables, etc. Then there are mezzes, aka appetizers, like hummus, roasted carrot yogurt, harissa, spicy tabouli, and more. For sires, there are items like lamb kibbeh, lentil soup, Turkish pizza, and truffle feta friesThere’s also Turkish wine, as well as beer, coffee, tea, and sodas. MezzeMe’s campus hours are from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day. This new MezzeMe notable took over one of the shuttered locations of Daphne’s Mediterranean (which had been Noon which had been Verts)." - Nadia Chaudhury
"Austin fast-casual Mediterranean restaurant MezzeMe Turkish Kitchen is opening its second location right on the Drag this year. It’s set to open at 2530 Guadalupe Street, taking over one of those recently shuttered Daphne’s Kitchen locations, sometime within the first week of September. The menu features build-your-own grain bowls, pitas, or salads. Options include proteins like beef and lamb doner, chicken kabobs, falafel, or vegetables; additions like spreads (hummus, carrot yogurt), green beans, and feta cheese pastries; toppings; and dressings. This new MezzeMe will feature a back patio and a dedicated parking lot." - Nadia Chaudhury
