"Union members at this casino rejected the tentative five-year agreement and will continue picketing and bargaining with the Detroit Casino Council until a satisfactory deal is reached. The proposal that was voted on at the other casinos would have delivered an immediate $3-per-hour raise (about an 18% average increase in the first year), $5-per-hour total raises over the contract, no health-care cost increases for employees, workload reductions, enhanced job security and technology protections, retirement increases, and other gains, but members here opted not to ratify it." - Serena Maria Daniels

Nice casino, but I didn’t win anything. I thought they were supposed to give you money when you put it in the machine ? Hopefully, I still have a wife when I get home. She told me not to go. She said I would lose my money, but I didn’t believe her. I drank 3 Diet Cokes for free, so all in a decent night out.

Only poker room in town. Would think it would be up to date and bad ass. Could be best and biggest room around but chooses to be old and broken. fix the shufflers and update. There's a room in ohio that's getting a couple hundred people a day for tournaments. Dont act broke MGM. we want a world classes poker room. The dealers are good. The pit bosses are good. Staff's great. Update your room. And bring the bad bead back

You're here to spend and hopefully win. So nothing negative to say. Good experience but I will say that the local food options are double at MGM ( Nation Coney etc.) but that's the price of convenience

Visiting is always a fun experience. I parked in their garage while attending a Lions game. After the game I hung around to watch some sports in the bar and play some video poker & blackjack. I prefer that to trying to exit the garage during the mass exodus that occurs right after games and other downtown events. Met some cool people as usual and had an overall great time.

Of the 3 casinos in Detroit, MGM has parking that is actually right beside the casino floor. It's the busiest during the off hours. You can go at 4:30 am on a Tuesday and there's people. I was at one of the other casinos on the bottom floor. It was completely empty and I felt like I was in a. Horror movie. I ended up panicking and running up the escalators. The downside is MGM had the last promos and opportunities to get free play.

Really big casino. Bit overwhelming for the first time. But they have everything from simple slot machine to fancy table games.

God had a blast at MGM! Finally there is a ( God ) smoking section making the place ( God ) friendlier to drinkers. Slot machines seemed to be ( God ) paying well, next time will check out the table games. - God
