MGM does not disappoint me at all every time I go there. It is always a nice, fancy hotel with nice staff, professional staff, and more. MGM is also a amazing casino all around. Amazing restaurants all around the hotel such as The Roasted Bean for some great banana bread and fruit cup early in the morning. Top Golf also is amazing as it always is! 😉Someone wrote WASH ME on my dirty car which was kinda concerning take note.

Stayed here one time. Room was very nice and relatively affordable. Casino is decent. Cannot compare this place to the two Connecticut Casinos. Would be Apples vs. Oranges. Sometimes the table limits are a bit high. Would be nice to see $10 craps at slower times. Staff are usually friendly.

Spent the night in a very nice room. Bed was very comfortable. Eat at the steak house. The food and bartender were awesome. We had a great time playing blackjack, did not have the typical players trying to tell you how to play my hand. The dealer explained the bonus games well, of which I won a few times.

This Casino and hotel never disappoint. My husband and I always have a great time! The hotel is comfortable, clean, convenient and the staff are always so helpful and friendly. We love the food market! We have never eaten in any of the big stand alone restaurants because the food market is so convenient, quick, the food is amazing and the staff are very friendly! As for the casino, we love the size, layout, selection of games and we always leave winners.

Google
Nice casino, but overall meh. Hotel rooms are nice but walls paper thin, barely slept with couple next to us arguing from 4am-8am somehow… all the graphics everywhere are incorrect with the hours, leading us on a wild goose chase to find food at 9:30pm despite all the places saying on the signs and app that they are open much later. We ended up with chips from vending machine. Multiple other things closed, but of course not the casino. So it’s not a resort. Just a casino…. Disappointed

I had never been to any MGM or stayed with one. But my boyfriend and I got a Wellness King Room. First When we went to check in we were greeted by the rudest receptionist ever, who rudely told us they do not take cash for room reservations and if we do not find money on a card we will lose our room... Like What!! so we kill with kindness that's my motto, and we go to load are card and come back, but still what casino doesn't take cash???? So we greet the wonderfully rude woman and she say "Oh you found some money???" I replied nicely that we just reloaded the money back on. But the judgment was felt hard. Room was nice and clean but the sound machine didn't work nor did the essence oil diffuser. there were no notes in the room as what to if there was anything you need or if anything was wrong to call right away, so we just said to each other we would bring it up at check out. Well guess who greeted us at check out, We got that same wonderfully rude woman from the night before. we start telling her about the room she cuts us off and asked if we called. i ask who and how. finally a really nice lady next to her took over and helped s out and took some off our bill, but also i would like to point out our security deposit cost more than the room we stayed in and we still haven't gotten it back all though it supposed to be instant. We are sad to say we will not be returning.

Google
I loved the aesthetic of the room but there was no fridge and no microwave which was quite an inconvenience for me. The housekeepers were nice but the supervisor entered my room on day 2 of my 3 day stay saying it was past check out and maybe the system was wrong it does that sometimes. I don’t know maybe they should consider a new “system” I got the vibes that she just wanted to see the condition of my room honestly. However the biggest reason I would never stay here again is because you have to walk past emphasis on PAST the casino and 2 nights I felt like my boyfriend and I were profiled. The first night a guy from inside the casino gates basically chased us down to ask were we hotel guest and then required me to show my key. He apologized profusely so I just ignored it. The following night we were walking PAST the casino got all the way to the end of the walkway where you enter the hotel and security from INSIDE the casino stops me to scan my ID. I asked her do you all do this for every hotel guest, I’m not even coming to the casino? She was honest and told me someone called her and told her to stop me. I was flabbergasted. While I understand the safety of the casino I never tried to enter the casino and I did not see any other guest get checked. If I paid for my hotel room there’s no reason I should have to be I’d just to go to my room and go to sleep.

I go to play. It's fun, good variety of machines and tables, but did not stay in the rooms so I can't comment on them. Dealers could be a little more friendly, but when they are not, I play on the machines. It is nice to have the self-service drinks. Please clean the machines and stock them more often with drinks or the drink stations become a frustrating decoration when people are thirsty. It was the drink machines near the tables. I will visit again.

Yelp
The hotel itself was 5/5 ! The rooms were clean, large, and decor was so well done. Casino was clean and the history of the property was embraced and a great aspect. The extra entertainment on the property was a surprise bonus. The food court could have been cool but was rough. Most businesses were closed and they rotated their workers between locations, so hours and availability of the food was hit or miss. Was a bummer, since menus looked good! Mgmt claimed they could not find enough employees who were willing to actually come to work to staff each of the food locations. This was the only reason for a 4/5 rating. MGM is the highlight of the town it seems. It looked like the town was in the process of revitalization but has incredible potential. If we stayed in Springfield again (not likely), we would definitely stay at this MGM!

Yelp
We stayed here for 3 nights from Friday September 27th to Monday October 30th 2024. We came from Montreal, Canada primarily to visit The Big E fair in town and wanted to enjoy a Vegas style experience at this hotel. The MGM is located downtown, easy to get to and features lots of free multi-level parking. We were impressed with the size of this place right away. There are 7 or 8 floors of parking so never any issue finding a spot even on the busiest weekends. The walk from the parking elevators to the main lobby of the hotel can be a bit far once you have parked, if you have a lot of luggage I would recommend having someone drop you closer to the entrance first. Once you've entered the hotel, you're immersed into the casino. The whole main floor is dedicated to this, there are also couple restaurants and boutiques, like a gift shop and jeweler. The hotel feels classy, very elegant, yet stylish and fun. I loved the whole decor. We were able to check ourselves in through the MGM mobile app ahead of time, this offers a virtual key if you don't feel like waiting in line, you can still ask for a physical key card if needed. We stayed in room 251 which is on the second floor and has 2 queen beds. The room isn't huge but does offer very tall ceilings, at least 15 feet? Everything felt spacious despite the room being advertised as 354 square feet. The bathroom is quite big, large shower with a rain shower type fixture. I was very happy with the water pressure - honestly one of the best shower experiences I've had in a hotel in a while. However the sink faucet is water saving, it's been adapted to have only a light sprinkle of water unlike a regular faucet. The built in ammenities, like shower, conditioner, shower gel, hand soap and hand lotion felt high end. Note, they do not offer any bar soap, I brought my own, but the shower had no ledge or anything buil in to place a bar of soap or additional bottle so ended up having to leave it on the shower floor. This seems like a design flaw. The beds were comfortable, not sunken in. The AC was working beautifully. The entire decor, fixtures and state of the room was in pristine condition. Our room has big windows facing Main street along with blackout curtains - this can be a bit loud at night, we often heard motorcycles or cars blaring music but it died down once we actually went to bed after 10PM. The hotel does offer earplugs, these were on the nightstand when we arrived. Nice touch. In terms of entertainment options, the casino is loads of fun, we had a great time, enjoyed the self-serve resfreshments, Coke freestyle machines and complimentary drinks. There is a movie theater, small bowling alley and even an indoor golf type experience. I would strongly suggest browsing through the MGM site to find out about all available options and hours of operation. Not everything is open during weekdays. The only things that would have made this experience even better is some type of buffet on site - sadly there is no complimentary breakfast option or any dinner buffet restaurant at this hotel. If you compare this to Vegas or Atlantic City, it is lacking. Also having a mini fridge in the room would be great. You can rent one for a charge of about $25 a day, but that did not seem worth it. In all, I really enjoyed my experience, MGM is the ideal place to stay if you want some entertainment and a bit more glitz and glam compared to a regular hotel. The overall feel was luxurious and it truly felt like a vacation even if it was just a weekend stay.

Yelp
The lack of hot water in the casino bathrooms ruins any experience here. It is ice cold and at times hurts. Whether or not I win or lose stopping to wash my hands on the way out will ruin the mood pretty quickly.

Andrew K.

Yelp
This is really a 2 in 1 type of place. First in the hotel which is really nice. Someone said the hotel is 5 years old but it appears to be new. Rooms smell if new paint. Shower is among the best in the business. Shower head looks like one of those rain drip ones but there is great pressure. Good choice of places to eat and drink. Then there is the gaming. It's a good selection but no one in the family came close to winning anything. It was just lose lose lose. I know casinos are not in business to lose money but you have to program them to pay out a little once in a while to keep people coming back. If you ever get stranded overnight at BDL by South West (or any other airline really) this is a good choice to spend the night. It's a short Uber ride. @Marriott If you are a Mariott Rewards member you can pay for rooms with points. You might have to remind the folks at the front desk what the benefits of Rewards are (free upgrades , late check outs etc). But overall neat place

Mike M.

Yelp
Walls so thin I could hear every word the guy in the room next to me is saying, food venues were ok but nothing special, street view room but the windows must be single pane with how the road noise was so loud, Overall bad experience.

Anita C.

Yelp
There are pros and cons, let me share. We normally go to Mohegan or Foxwoods since we live in Connecticut. However MGM is actually closer to us. Pleasantly surprised by certain things. Food is very affordable and decent amount of options, I like that it's low key and seems like some people come just for the food. Reasonable portion too. Casino itself is small. Limited stores for shopping. If you're not there to gamble, then the only place to hang is the food court area and hotel lobby. There's movie theatre on upper floor if you're waiting for hours on friends who are gambling. Overall, I think it has all the basics a casino should have. Depending on what you like, it may just be enough. Our friends had good luck here and made some winnings so we'll be back!

Sabrina G.

Yelp
I love this casino. The machines are newer and there are other things to do here besides gamble. There are free beverages, and alcoholic beverages (as long as you gamble). There is plenty of parking as well. There is a movie theater connected to the casino as well. In the evenings they also do drawings for prizes.

Doreen D.

Yelp
There slots are rigged. Payouts are poor. Occasionally, they will loosen them for 1/2 hours a couple times a week. Avoid this venue.

Bryan W.

Yelp
The hotel is first class and easily earns this 4 star rating. The casino is another issue entirely and would only earn 2 or 3 stars. I'll address both in this review. The hotel room we had, a King Rm on the 6th Floor, was very comfortable, spacious, clean, and very well appointed. The only thing that disappointed us was the lack of a mini-fridge in the room....something that is almost always standard in even a budget hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful so only positive feedback with regards to customer service. There are several options for dining onsite and even more within close walking distance from the hotel. Now the Casino was another matter entirely. While they have an impressive amount of slot machines, the payout settings are very off compared to many other casinos we've recently been to. The limited number of table games made for a challenge to get a seat at times and even more disappointing were the below average payout ratios. Blackjack, for example, pays 6:5 instead of 3:2. On the positive side, all the dealers at both the Blackjack and Pontoon21 tables were very friendly, helpful and professional. They did have some nice random giveaway prizes this month (December) too. If I ever have to stay in Springfield again, I'll definitely consider this hotel, but I think our other options for casino gambling in the region are much better choices.

Yelp
Cool place to go to but staying there is not worth the price. Positives - Amazing room design and aesthetic. - Temperature control was great. - Great food options. - Good casino floor with many game options. - Great bar - Many activity options Negatives - Cannot order food/drinks to room. - Cannot even order food for pickup. You have to place a take out order at the restaurant in person, then wait until it's ready to take it to your room. - I specifically asked and was told I had a street view room but only had a view of the closed down pool area. I did not ask for a room change because I did not want to cause any problems so I just went with it. - Spa has been closed since 2020 due to covid. It's been 4 years they can re-open it. For a price of $200 per night I felt as if it was slightly overpriced because of the experience I expected from MGM but did not receive. The rooms were amazing but the service I expected was not the best. If there was a 3.5 star option I would choose that. Still had fun tho!

Yelp
I had booked this hotel as it was close to some museums which we planned to see and also because it was centrally located in town. I didn't really appreciate that this is a full-blown Las Vegas style casino with an attached hotel. That's mostly on me I guess, but just be aware. If you are seeking a place to stay and play slots or table games, this may be ideal. If you are just looking for a straight up hotel, this may not be your best choice. The room itself was nice and spacious. We both liked the shower set-up a lot also. And it was quiet despite being downtown and connected to a casino. Parking was somewhat of an issue. They have an enormous 7-story parking garage. When we came back from dinner around 7 p.m. on a Sunday night, there were no spaces on levels 1 - 5 and only a few on level 6. Luckily they do have space-available indicators on each level to assist with whether to go hunting there. I think parking was free, though there was some sort of 'resort fee' that may partially be for parking (?). It was really crowded in the evening (but deserted in the morning). You then have to walk a ways to the elevator, ride that down, and hike by the entire gaming floor to get to the hotel lobby. It makes any trip out of the hotel a significant event (probably by design). We were looking for a place to get breakfast before we checked out. There appeared to be no restaurants within easy walking distance. However, we asked at the front desk and were told about 'South Market', an apparently shops / dining court at the far end of the hotel. I had not seen any reference to this on their website while actually looking for dining options. We walked down and located it. They offered large breakfast combos for $10. The price was good, but it was impossible to finish. I'd recommend 2 people splitting one. Depending on what you want / need, this place may be a good option. If you just want convenient adjacent parking, a simple room, and maybe a simple complimentary breakfast in the lobby, this isn't for you.

Yelp
I have been trying to get a job here for 3 momths now for a position they say is open. They constantly send Me responses saying the position is full even though month after month they say there are openings. My friend works there and says they are in need of desperate help but they are NOT hiring. They need to do something about this!Hire or STOP POSITING!!!

Yelp
With the opening of the new Sportsbook, I decided to give MGM Springfield a chance. With that being said, the casino was pretty good, but the employees were out of control. To start, the casino is nice, clean, and has plenty of table games and slot machines. Also, the casino offers free soda machines which is a great feature. On top of that, the new Sportsbook is excellent. To elaborate, the Sportsbook has lots of betting kiosks, really comfortable seating, and a massive video wall that captures every sporting event that is on. Given that, the Sportsbook is definitely the highlight of this casino. In contrast, this casino really needs to add more dining options. For example, they only have one restaurant which is a sports bar and a small food court with limited options. But, the worst part of this place is the employees. To explain, while I was walking back to the Sportsbook from the bathroom, I was harassed by a custodian. The custodian stopped me and wouldn't let me leave. She kept saying that I wasn't allowed here because of the way I looked. I eventually had to tell her I would get security because she wouldn't stop harassing me. Just a horrible human being. All in all, MGM Springfield has a nice casino and a great Sportsbook, but the employees are awful.

Yelp
First Time Here. We flew into Logan Airport in Boston to go to Cooperstown for a baseball tournament. This was a middle point from Boston to Cooperstown in Oneonta. We Self Parked checked in, they accommodated our request for two adjoining rooms without any issues. Our rooms were clean. To access the floors, you need to have a room key so that's reassuring to have that for added safety. Front Desk: Accommodating, helpful, and knowledgeable. I called the front desk on our check-out date and needed one more hour before checking out, they did their best to give us an extra hour to squeeze a workout and shower in before leaving with our bags in tow. Meal Options: The hotel restaurants are limited and they aren't always open on weekdays. There is a food court market area that has one to two restaurants open at a time. This time it was the Seafood (fish and chips/chowder) and the Grill Restaurants (Hotdogs, BLT sandwiches, Hamburgers). The maximum order is for 5 people per order. The bowling is located in the Tap restaurant. Fitness Center: Was just enough to do cardio and lift weights. We were the only ones in there so there was plenty of room. Hotel Room: Nice, clean, and modern. Swimming Pool: This is on the same floor as the Fitness Center (2nd Floor). It was small but perfect for the family. We don't gamble but the hotel and staff keep this place clean and tidy. I was happy with this choice and would recommend the hotel!

Sue Y.

Yelp
We went to mgm spfld. On June 29th 2024 around 11pm. What a mess there was bottles and cups on the slot machines plus they were dirty. Couldn't even find waitress. I was so disappointed. I hope it won't happen again.

Sumogirl M.

Yelp
One of the very best casino in northeast. Clean. Non smoking!!!! Hallelujah!!! Friendly staff. Surrounded by lots of restaurants. Plenty if parking. Friendly staff but service is slow. Fun place to press your luck.

Nico Samneil S.

Yelp
It is my first time to do the casino. Some croupier or dealer are not nice for me who is a first timer. For me it is a medium sizes casino as what i see on movies. Free refreshments. Free parking space

William K.

Yelp
Hidden resort fee for a hotel in Springfield Mass is a stretch. Small casino, no fridge in the rooms or microwave for that matter.

Maestro L.

Yelp
Nice casino but the hotel room walls are paper thin. You will hear snoring, talking and all the other stuff like you are in their room. Very poor design. Rooms are very nice though

Susan S.

Yelp
terrible casino I am black card and they treat you horrible Asked for a new host - no response Today host walks by and you wonder why I want a new host Played at other Casinos host always stops by Springfield MGM usually sends an email review after each visit I have ignored them until recently and gave them my honest review-haven't heard back and they haven't sent me another That tells everything- not only they don't want to hear anything but good reviews but they have no intention of improving

Pash P.

Yelp
First visit was special. My wife and I had a great time visiting the casino. Parking on a early Saturday afternoon was no problem. We love the no smoking and spread out machines with a clean environment. The coffee and soda stations are wonderful. Something all casinos should consider. They are making their money from the patrons so why not! Grabbed a quick bite of lunch which was delicious and reasonably priced. We have been to Vegas a number of times along with Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods Cas

John K.

Yelp
I was yelled at by a security guard at 7:30 in the morning walking back to my hotel room after parking my car in the garage. It was one of the most disgusting uses of flexing authority by a security guard I've ever seen. I walked simply from the garage to my hotel room, not through the casino area. Yet this older gentleman decided to be completely unprofessional and overreaching for no reason whatsoever. In addition, the cleanliness, lack of room service, and restaurant closures at the beginning of the week made the hotel experience very disappointing and one-dimensional. The hotel staff does deserve credit for, despite being short staffed, still very professional and friendly.

Anna C.

Yelp
We enjoyed our stay this past weekend. Our room was beautiful with a king sized bed and plenty of space. We had drinks and appetizers at TAPS. The waiters and waitresses were friendly and pleasant. The staff and security inside the casino areas lack friendliness and more professionalism... they walk around and look angry, almost unapproachable. Overall, our stay was was great!

paul m.

Yelp
This place is the armpit of the MGM properties. I loved the MGM Grand and I love the look of this hotel, but the way they treat patrons is like they're criminals. My wife and I sat down at one of the few 3:2 blackjack tables they have and were told we needed to sit out until the next shoe. Weird, but no stress. We'll wait. We sat patiently for a half hour and the shoe still wasn't finished. I grabbed my phone to check it and very quickly, with no money in action, I was accosted by a pit boss. She really laid into me about it and I tried to explain I was t even playing, but she wasn't having it. She just kept arguing. I asked to see the manager and when he came by, I asked why we couldn't lose our money there. He really laid into the other pit bosses position. Honestly? It was really uncalled for. I've seen people texting mid-hand at the same casino or better, answering the phone. I honestly, will not be back to an MGM property. If I had money in action or could even enter during the shoe, it'd be explainable. There was no reason for this other than they are used to a lot of lower income clientele in the very depressed community of Springfield and they like to treat people like they don't matter. I go to Vegas often. I guess I'm a Caesar's or Old Downtown guy when I travel and Foxwoods and Encore when I stay local guy now. TBT Encore and Foxwoods both have more to do and are both closer with way less uptight pit staff. Too sad MGM. I'm sure you don't care. I was so upset, I called and asked to have my Rewards card that I've had since like 2001 cancelled today. Boo MGM. Do Better.

Matthew S.

Yelp
Far and away, the worst casino I have ever stepped foot in. WAY overly tight slots, unpleasant staff, and limited entertainment/dining options. Very sad in comparison to Foxwoods and Mohegan. Will not return. Would not recommend.

Lorraine G.

Yelp
MGM is a welcome addition to Western Mass. It offers a clean venue for spending a few hours playing casino games. Entertainment is offered at the nearby Mass Mutual Center. Food options vary depending on the day of the week.

Katherine K.

Yelp
The MGM Hotel itself is actually quite nice with a few problems. The staff at the hotel's front desk is professional, if a little brisk. Our room was not ready at quarter to three but was about half an hour later. The lobby is clean and quiet compared to the casino. It has an enjoyable decor. The elevator from the casino to the guest rooms is TERRIBLE. It is small and filthy. I don't know what was smeared on the walls. Nightmare. Once on our floor, it was better. We stayed in a queen suite. It was very lovely. Clean. Well decorated. An enjoyable and modern room. While we were in the room there wasn't much hotel noise, but some street noise. There was a mini fridge (although this was dirty). The room had a sitting room with an attached bathroom, a bedroom with two queen beds, and a large and lavish ensuite bathroom. There were large T.V.s in both rooms. The furniture was clean, stylish, and comfortable. The food court is okay. We had some very salty clam chowder, and a friend had a lobster roll. It is kept fairly clean. The noise from the casino makes it difficult to converse with anyone in your party. The staff does NOT seem to like being there! The casino is not up the the quality one would expect at a "resort" destination. It was dirty, the parking was a nightmare, and we had a bad experience at The Chandler Steakhouse. But the restaurant is another review! The layout of the casino was poorly considered and resulted in bottlenecks of people at various intersections. The secondhand marijuana and cigarette smoke wafts in from outside in pungent clouds. There was a two-hour ordeal trying to get out of the parking garage. The bathrooms could have been worse, considering the number of people using them, but they were still public restrooms at a large venue. Foxwoods is much nicer. The additional fees tacked on to the bill are insane. In addition to the Room Rate: "Resort Fee." "Conveyance Fee." "Resort Tax." "Conveyance Tax." "City Tax" AND "Room Tax." OMG. Overall, if the hotel were a stand-alone, I think it would be a fine establishment. But having to walk through the seedy casino ruins the experience. Will seek hotel rooms elsewhere in the future should the need arise.

James L.

Yelp
1 To 5 Stars would be 1. The Hotel if They could have water charge They would have. Charge $25 for dorm room size Frig. No room service, No spa, Just outside overpacked Pool. But charge Your credit card $150 security per night. To park in Non-valet gated lot the smell of PEE will knock You over. The Garage Elevator have to pass beggers asking for Money. Now to Gambling, Slot Machines so tight. Table Games in High Limit only open Friday after 5 PM close at 1AM closed till Saturday @ 5 PM. Same to say bout Steak Place Chandler's open Thurs Night Friday Night and Saturday. but for 1 to eat is $200. Not for Springfield Market.

Owen R.

Yelp
Same old, same old. Depressing vibe. Lots of electric slot machines. A few bars, some casino quality restos. I give it three stars for the FREE pop machine!

Joshua W.

Yelp
Absolute joke of an MGM location and casino in general. After my girlfriend and I made it past the main security at the entrance, she would continue to be yelled at and stopped on multiple occasions by security. Again, we already showed our IDs so we can enjoy the casino that's past the security! I asked them if they could just stamp her hand so they don't have to keep harassing us. They said if they don't know her, there is nothing they can do. This doesn't happen at any other casino and it's no surprise it's going downhill. Will not be coming back.

Mary S.

Yelp
If you're coming to find good casino with good chance to win, at al cost AVOID MGM SPRINGFIELD, their SLOTS ARE RIGGED. You can expect to spend 1,000-2,000 without a good win, in fact playing in high bets means you can get all your money lost with very little return. MGG is nothing short of fraud casino THEY NEED SHUT IT DOWN.

Lindsay S.

Yelp
Worst casino I've ever been to. 7 hrs spent playing to get 1 cocktail waitress to come by all night even in high limits. Several people occupying seats and tables not playing or with a card security doesn't ask those that aren't playing and occupying a seat to move. Springfield mgm is a joke save your money and take the extra time to explore mohegan or foxwoods.

Ester L.

Yelp
We stayed overnight on the on way to New Hampshire. The hotel was pleasant surprise as it was clean and well kept. The Casino was small but not bad. However, the casino security were unpleasant. It might be due to the fact that the surrounding area is bit sketchy. But that wouldn't justify it since we were a hotel and casino guest. Food was okay overall. I would stay here again just for the hotel stay, if I ever come back to area for visit.

Karen R.

Yelp
Dark, sad, no excitement going on whatsoever. Nobody winning, nobody having fun. Went to play roulette and blackjack and half the seats had monitors that didn't work. No employees anywhere in site. No one walking around serving drinks to the players. Just not a happy experience

James M.

Yelp
Hotel was very nice! Room was very clean and had a great look to it, would recommend to someone if you are staying in the area

Loretta M.

Yelp
Short walk from MassMutual Center. I wish more entrance doors were open. This spot is ok by casino standards. The slots were tight, no decent payouts to keep me interested I liked the self service drink station. Overall it was a nice night.

Eric M.

Yelp
Can't wait until they close this place for good. Mgm's slots have ALWAYS been tight, but these last few months they've been pathetic. Borderline fraudulent. They know they're going to close so they're pocketing as much of YOUR money as possible by tightening up their machines to pay out practically nothing. The bonuses, if you can even get one, are not even breaking twenty dollars anymore. Funny, eh? Or just coincidence. And it's not just me, it's EVERYONE saying the same. Nobody is going to buy this place. Noone. The patrons have the stink of mgm in their mouth and are turned off. Every payback is in the form of "threes'. Nothing hits past the third column, and no higher than 9s, 10s, or queens! So great if you're betting $2.64 a bet and get the VERY occasional $.15 cents back on it. $8.00 bonuses on 20 spins...the bullsh*t is endless. You want people to come and play? Give em back some. Keep them playing. If you drain every wallet in 15 minutes, Nobody stays, and nobody wants to return. Shove your garbage free play. Five bucks draws NOONE. Mgm is a disappointment and I'm glad they're going under. You can't take the fun out of gaming for everyone and expect people to come back. Nobody hollering over jackpots, there aren't any. And good luck even breaking even on a visit. Not worth walking through the piss smelling parking lot into the broken down elevators, to the out of service kiosks, to empty your pockets in minutes into rigged tight machines. ALL OF THEM. Ciao mgm. You buried yourself.

Yelp
There is one service desk for everything. Inquiries, player cards and cashing ships and tickets. Sunday early evening. Only 2 cashier windows open. Long line to get cash. Elderly people everywhere in line. We ended up standing in line for 40 minutes!!! I asked to speak to the manager of this service desk, and I told him this was un-acceptable. He told me "nothing i can do.. if you want, you can apply for a cashier job". So.. that's that. They could care less. Hopefully people will stop going there.

Yelp
Very nice homey casino -good food inside and nearby - convent hotel and parking - easy to reach - close to basketball hall of fame and Springfield Museums - good for a day trip to see it all

Yelp
How is this not rated a 4? We came to the area for a wedding and saw there was an MGM semi-close so we decided to stay. Here is the breakdown of everywhere that MGM Springfield gets a 4! Hotel: The rooms have extremely high ceilings and feels extremely comfy. The cleaning staff was extremely flexible around our horrible schedule. They were absolutely amazing and we were extremely satisfied with them. The hotel bar could be a tad bigger, but given the amount of rooms this is understandable. Spa: The spa was good. Again, because the amount of rooms, this is one of the smaller hotel spas I've seen. With that being said, their showers were so large and you were able to lock the shower door, which I loved. Casino: It was a good layout. They offer free drinks for customers who are gambling but they have a limit. At first I wondered why they do this, but I really liked that they control it so people aren't getting so drunk during the day. Tap Sports Bar/Bowling: What a cool area to check out and watch a game. We decided to bowl and they had a new system where you could play games within each frame. VERY COOL! All in all, we had a great time and this hotel has so much to offer!

Yelp
I have visited here 5 times, and stayed here once. The casino is fun and the craps dealers are awesome! The drink bars make it easy to get soft drinks and coffee and you can get free alcoholic drinks by playing at the bars, tables, or slots. I think getting drinks at the bar is much more easier than on the gambling floor as their are not enough cocktail hostesses and hosts to service the entire gambling floor. They have sportsbook area with no sportsbook (weird). The restaurant options are lacking and most of the restaurants are closed or have weird hours. The hotel room is pretty cool but the best thing about the rooms are the shower. I love the shower pressure. I took multiple showers just because it is so nice. The hotel room didn't have a safe and not sure how safe the hotel is as it is pretty dark and hardly anyone around. They have a Regal theater right up on the second floor of the casino and it is a nice option when you need to take a break from the casino. The outside of the hotel is pretty depressing and ghetto and not somewhere I would like to walk around at anytime of the day.

Yelp
What a nice change of pace! This casino is located on Main St and had a lot of the slot games we enjoy. We won and probably broke even... just over all the experience and it's smoke free! The drink service was spotty but when you found a good server, it was great!

Yelp
Awful service all around. TopGolf reservation time for my group made in advance was eventually changed to accommodate for larger party. Further, during day of reservation they cancelled us due to technical issues -- no apologies, no credits, no nothing. My group of 20 moved next door to the bowling alley, only to have the rude worker tell us we are only allowed a limited time since they will assume the "big party" will need it since the TopGolf is not working. After further back and forth, we were consistently told that they were a priority, even though they did not have advance reservation at the bowling alley nor were they even presently there. The worker was rude. We asked if we can sit in the lounge area (which was clearly free) and were told that we can only until the other party arrives. We were told later "great news! You are able to continue for another hour of bowling since the 'other party' isn't coming". My group have never experienced this type of second class citizen treatment...I don't think any of us will come back to this unprofessional joke of an establishment...

Yelp
We had a great stay for $960 with taxes for two nights. Friday and Saturday night. Was pricey but place is great, well upkept, awesome interiors, new, nice pool and jacuzzi area. Central to quite litrally everyting downtown. Nice casino. However the cocktail waitresses were extremely rude and had downright NASTY personalities. And we didnt even engage too much with them at all to find this out. Happened on more than one occassion. Train them again , better, will you ? Rooms were very nice. Clean. Shower was nice. We drank and screwed like rapid dogs for 48 hours all over that joint . My girlfriend and i plan to go back and rope one of the maids in for a 3 way . We were fantasizing about it all weekend. Just didnt have the nut to quite execute. Will definitely be back !

Yelp
I had pretty high expectations with a name like "MGM," but MGM Springfield is truly "meh." Even though the casino is new, the gambling floor feels old and dark - and not because it has character but because things are cramped. There really isn't anything special on the floor. The food options are not very interesting. Even the food court was pretty unimpressive. I'm not even sure I'd call it a "food court" because it was four stalls of meh things to eat. The outdoor area might be nicer on a warmer day. There was an ice skating rink that some kids were partaking in. But I could see taking a nice stroll if the weather was nice around the block. Glad I saw it, but if you're looking for a really nice casino and multifaceted fun experience, Mohegan or Foxwoods is a better bet.

Yelp
My first time at this casino and I was really impressed!. First of all, super easy to get to, parking is a breeze, non smoking is always a plus, and nice selection of up to date slots. So I went with my usual group and we really had a great time. Every slot was pretty loose and it seemed that I was getting in a bonus round frequently. The food court was a delight as well. Probably the best French toast I have ever had. Not too expensive either. Started with $20 and left with $300! We had so much fun that my father hit a jackpot! Awesome! We went to eat at TAP (sadly, not a great experience). This place is smoke free, clean, friendly casino staff, and complimentary self serve beverages doesn't hurt either. Definitely want this to be my go to casino but Atlantic City and Foxwoods gives better incentives.

Yelp
Like it coz it's brand new, looks good but not very impressed by it... it's very easy to get bored here unlike the other casinos that are around like Foxwoods and Mohegan, when it comes to dining & entertainment it's a snooze fest. The hotel is more of a focal point than the casino .. the casino floor is small, feels a bit too cramped. They have a strict no kid policy (even in the common areas like the food court) after 12am.. so if you come here to spend the day with family, be prepared to wrap up your game at head home when the clock strikes 12. For entertainment, they have a movie theater, a beautiful outdoor public area that leads to a market place and a Kringle candle shop... I read that they have an indoor swimming pool but I don't know if it's only accessible to hotel guests. For a day-tripper, you can easily pass a couple hours, but as a hotel guest there is very lil to do here.

Yelp
Stayed here for 1 night while working nearby in Hartford, CT., about a 25 minute Uber ride. Room was nice, however someone had obviously been smoking in my non-smoking room. I immediately informed a housekeeper who was in the hallway so I wouldn't be blamed. The Casino is nice, and laid out well. Free drinks while gambling. All of the newest slots and plenty of table games. Outdoor smoking area next to poker room. Plenty of good dining options. Location is edgy. There were many homeless and panhandlers on the sidewalks outside the property.

Yelp
I've had a MGM gift card for over 4 years, and have had a terrible time trying to use it. They won't accept their own gift card as payment for a reservation. They want me to pay in full, then pay again with my gift card at check-in, then wait for a refund from my bank.
