Things to Do in Round Rock (2025)
Mi Mundo Coffeehouse & Roastery

Sanni T.

Google
Best latte in Downtown Round Rock! 🏆 I usually find specialty lattes too sugary, but Mi Mundo gets the proportions exactly right. The espresso has a deep, chocolatey richness that pairs perfectly with their house-made syrups. Plus, the baristas are super knowledgeable and friendly. Do yourself a favor and skip the corporate shops—this is the real deal.

Absolutely love this place! The pistachio rose coffee with soy is a total game changer smooth, delicious, and just the right amount of sweet. The ambiance is peaceful, and the classic music sets the perfect mood for focus or relaxation. It’s become one of our favorite spots to vibe, work remotely, and recharge. Every visit feels like a mini escape calm, inviting, and full of good energy. Highly recommend for anyone who loves great coffee and even better atmosphere. ☕

Google
The good: service was satisfactory. Cashier was pleasant enough; greeted us and took our order. Environment inside is ok but small and cramped. Not many tables. Not good for groups. The bad: the coffee was the worst ive had here in the greater Austin area. My top 3 best coffees to give you a reference are: Flat track, spokesman, palomino. I would rate mi mundo similar to Talisman. If you’re the type to drown the flavor of coffee with milk and various sugars, im sure you can find something acceptable here. But if you enjoy the taste of a good espresso, save yourself time and money and go elsewhere. Ive never seen my wife throw away coffee before, like a full coffee, but that’s exactly what she did. The ultra bad: cinnamon roll. If youve had Sour duck market or teal house bakery, do not taint your taste buds with the one they sell here. We took one bite each and tossed it. I hate wasting food, absolutely hate it. But this was truly unacceptable. Better off going to HEB and getting one from there. RESPONSE TO OWNER: Haha whoa easy there. Haven't received such a defensive response till now, thank you. Sounds like I touched a nerve? It was a nice AI response though. I stand by my review. I'm sure most of your customers don't have the convenience to make it down to city on a regular basis which is unfortunate. But yeah, keep pushing out a bad product. Happy I could help. However, you can't fool everyone forever. Short term spikes eventually lead to a reversion to the mean.

Google
Super cute coffee shop! Loved the earthy vibe it has and the coffee was delicious! Since it was a hot day, I got a blended mocha with espresso and this tasted like a milkshake❤️ the stuffed cookie and the chocolate croissant were DELICIOUS!

Valerie N.

Google
The latte is kind of bland and diluted to me. The bread is a little bit dry and lacking taste too. The only thing I like is the muffin. Also this place has a spacious beautiful patio in the back. Which is perfect for reading or working.

Google
Dont want to get coffee anywhere else since I've had Mi Mundo coffee.....THIS is what coffee should taste like, quality and made with love. Their shop is small yet cute and love that they have covered outdoor seating options too. They dont have much parking right in front, but they do on the main road (like 20 spots??), across from the restaurant on the corner.

Charity D.

Google
Hands down, the best Irish Coffee I've had! The atmosphere is a cozy and welcoming escape, with a generous outdoor seating area perfect for warmer days. The staff is both efficient and genuinely friendly, making the entire experience a true pleasure

Nayeli C.

Google
We love it !!!! The people who work there were really nice and kind. The coffee was so good and my muffin too. The decoration is really nice. The place is small. I may come back when I am in Austin. We are from dallas.

Yelp
My favorite coffee house in the greater Austin area. And I hate the espresso. That tells you how good everything else is. * * * Mi Mundo is the most atmospheric and charming coffee house we have in a city full of atmospheric charming coffee houses. The back porch overlooking the alley has an old New Orleans style aura. The inside can go toe to toe with Epoch on North Loop for charisma. Epoch on North Loop is all about alternative cool. All of the customers could be DJs for KOOP. Mi Mundo is all about internationalism. There are generally at least four or five different nations of origin around you. The white anglo locals tend to be too weird even for KOOP. Prophet types giving metaphysical lessons. Christian naturalists with strong ecological views. Round Rock gets a lot of alternative people ... But they are different from the stereotypical hipsters you find on Austin's New East Side. Think alternative people who can't afford Austin New East Side prices. And then think about what kind of person has an unusual life style that does not fit into mainstream Texas - - - and does not earn enough to allow him or her to live within walking distance of Hotel Vegas. You see East Side Coffee House denizens at South by Southwest. You will not see Mi Mundo people at South by Southwest. I, personally, regularly go to South by Southwest. But I felt more at home at Mi Mundo's then I have at any other coffee house in Austin. Double stuffed chocolate cookies with nutella and magnificent sugar bomb lattes do help to sweeten up one's world view. But the combination of charming house and fascinating people does the rest.

Yelp
I used to live nearby and loved coming here however the last 2 time i've come by it seems like the quality has gone down which was disappointing but I guess things happen. I love the small intimate space with all of the plants, patio, and local items they have for resell. staff is always kind! lots of options to choose from off of the menu. hoping my next visit is just as amazing as they were a couple years back!

Yelp
Austin was recently ranked a top 10 U.S. city for coffee, and I hope that includes Round Rock, because Mi Mundo Coffeehouse is holding its own. I ordered the White Blueberry coffee (blueberry + coffee sounded like a gamble) but wow... it totally worked. Sweet and creamy. Fresh pastries available as well. Service was quick and super friendly, and the space has that cozy, welcoming vibe that makes you want to hang out a little longer. Definitely a gem worth adding to your local coffee rotation.

Yelp
Long story short, I went to Mi Mundo for a $3 drip coffee. They offered me an Americano instead since they were out of drip coffee, and charged me the higher price of $3.25. When I got home, I found out they inexplicably charged me $3.35. On top of that, my coffee was literally boiling hot where I couldn't even touch the lid. Just a bad experience. I posted my review hoping the owner would make things right and explain the overcharging, but instead he wrote a sarcastic response and insulted me for complaining about being overcharged. After telling me to change my 2* review to a 1*, I did so, and he posted another update where he chose to dox me. Maybe this guy is nice 364 days of the year and I caught him on a bad day, but I've never been treated like this by a business owner. I was hoping he would just say "my bad, come in next time and try us again and we'll make it right" and I'd update my review. Instead, he chose the aggressive response. I have screenshots of his responses before he changed it to try to make me look like the bad guy. No customer -- or human being -- should have to accept that kind of treatment that Rahul subjected me to. EDIT: This owner is absolutely out of his mind. Every time I add a line to my review to clarify something, he changes his response to try to gaslight me. My email is literally blowing up with all of his changes to his response. I give up, Rahul, you win... I'll stop editing my review and let you put whatever you want so I don't have to be harassed by you anymore. Congrats on your victory, you don't need to edit your responses anymore after this next one. Good luck with your business.

Yelp
It's definitely one of the nicest flavorful coffees in town! Service is excellent- friendly and cheerful baristas . A great place to sit and relax, or work . Moderate noise levels. Parking spaces in the front and back of the cafe. Highly recommend for a good start of your morning caffeine routine!
google avatar

Julie H.

Yelp
Great flat white, lattes, matcha, golden latte, breakfast tacos, and samosas. The feel in the coffee house is relaxing. The service is great!
google avatar

Grace M.

Yelp
Vibes? Immaculate. Coffee? Delicious. Breakfast tacos? Classic. I took a risk on the Autumn Fairy Tale (Pumpkin and Peppermint) and it absolute paid off. Honestly, no notes. This coffee shop is a gem
google avatar

Nancy H.

Yelp
I tried their lavender honey matcha latte and it was delightful. I love how they have so many signature flavors that you can get as a latte (coffee or matcha). The interior of the cafe is nice and has a homey feel to it. I think this is a great place to take a friend and relax.
google avatar

Jordyn M.

Yelp
Came in for the first time and got the tiramisu iced latte. It's got a nice flavor and sweetness without being overwhelming. I also got a samosas for a snack and enjoyed the sauces they paired with it. I am an adult child apparently and spilled my cup of water when I moved my purse and wish they had napkins easily accessible. When I went to ask an staff member where I could find one she just pointed, which, yes, she's busy so I get that but I personally appreciate verbal communication especially if my intention is to clean up after my mess to not add to their workload. The area she pointed too lacked napkins, as did the restroom (which could have been the area she was pointing too but also... so probably have napkins accessible to everyone without needing to wait for someone to exit the restroom). Lack of napkins is not a life ending crisis by any means.
google avatar

Briana W.

Yelp
Came for the iced coffee and left with an iced coffee and a coffee key chain! Plants, coffee and aesthetically pleasing...it's a win for me! Plus the coffee tasted like it naturally had cinnamon in it. Oh and no Yelpers, they don't make their own syrup! However each drink made here will be made with love! Happy Yelping!
google avatar

Yamile C.

Yelp
I love this coffee shop. I come here from time to time and always have a great experience. Coffee is always good & service great. They have some indoor and outdoor seating and it's just a great place to come work for a few hours or catch up with someone.
google avatar

Christina H.

Yelp
I am all about local and decided to try out Mi Mundo due to the raving reviews. I ordered the rose latte, but the syrup was overpowering and should have gone with a more traditional option. The shop is cute, but has minimal seating, a lack of food options, limited parking spaces and overall could be better. I would suggest removing all the noise and focusing on what matters. Sometimes, less is more.
google avatar

Christina T.

Yelp
This is my favorite coffee shop up north for so many reasons. Their specialty coffees are absolutely delicious, especially the pistachio mocha and dark raspberry mocha. It's such a cute atmosphere inside and the staff is so friendly. It's a great place to sit and chat with a friend or study!
google avatar

Txasnani A.

Yelp
I was looking forward to checking this coffee shop out-it looked so cute on instagram. We had lattes-regular milk, pistachio and Irish cream. The regular and pistachio were just ok. The Irish cream had no taste. Also lots of cute latte art pictured on Insta, we didn't get any The patio looked terrible-rickety chairs and a tripping hazard.
google avatar

Yelp
Stopped by here after a fun but exhausting toddler birthday party. There are six parking spaces right in front, with additional parking along the side street. I ordered a hot chocolate since it was around 3 PM, while my friend opted for the lavender honey latte--which she absolutely loved. It had the perfect balance of sweetness and a rich coffee flavor. We also appreciated the cozy atmosphere, lots of plants throughout the shop. Seating includes bar stools along the windows, but we settled into the leather couches, which could fit up to six people. It was the perfect spot for two friends and an infant to relax and catch up. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the prices were pretty standard--my hot cocoa was around $4. A great little spot for a warm drink and a laid-back vibe!
google avatar

Cilicia L.

Yelp
This is a quaint local coffee shop. Staff is very friendly, and the coffee is delicious. I had their honey cinnamon latte with almond milk, and it was perfect, sweet but not too sweet. They have lots of live plants that make the place feel welcoming, and an outside patio in the back if you want fresh air.
google avatar

Christi S.

Yelp
So, one the the reviews said best coffee in round rock... so driving through decided to try. Asked for a cortado, came in a cappuccino cup BUT the coffee was legitimately good, solidly above average! And then we got the banana bread... was less than impressed but CUSTOMER SERVICE, outstanding! I just let them know... not expecting anything at all and it was replaced and was given generous, kind, above and beyond service. (Pumpkin bread - definitely the one to try!)
google avatar

Rupa N.

Yelp
They have a lot of different flavors of lattes. I got iced pistachio rose latte and it was good. I do wish the flavors were stronger and coffee was stronger as well. There's some seating inside to do some work. Quick service.
google avatar

Myrna B.

Yelp
I really liked the vibe, every drink I ordered and the free WiFi to work on my laptop. However, maybe because I'm older, the restroom was a big turnoff for someone working on a laptop all day. The toilet water is not filling fast enough or at all to flush well. I literally took the greenery out of the shell deco and had to fill the tank every time I used the facilities to get a good/strong flush. I suggest having like a small pail somewhere in the restroom that fits inside the sink.
google avatar

Leo D.

Yelp
Love their coffee, my favorite decaf. Cutest chill place and great service! They also have yummy cookies and samosas!
google avatar

Vic D.

Yelp
Cute coffee shop in downtown round rock. It's quite small and the parking is a bit challenging but the coffee is worth it! Staff is friendly, menu has a lot of options and they have breakfast taos, cookies and treats from nearby bakeries offered at the front counter.
google avatar

Victoria H.

Yelp
This place is awesome! Probably my new go to. It's located in downtown round rock. The inside is quaint and cozy and the vibes were awesome. They have a lot of speciality drinks to choose from which are my favorite kinds! Everyone that works there is so nice. We even chatted a bit with one of the workers while he was making our coffee. There's a little patio in the back that is so cute. Def check them out!
google avatar

Big Mama T.

Yelp
Found this little gem and hung out for a while. We tried several things and everything was AMAZING! They had 2 baristas that day who were fantastic- super friendly, great personalities, they made perfect 3 shot espresso . Their coffee has a great flavor! I also tried the banana nut bread and the tamales. I will definitely visit again when we visit this area. The only con is that there is not much parking - it's small place but very busy...but I was blessed and someone was leaving and I got parked in front.
google avatar

Zoë W.

Yelp
I've said it once and I'll say it again. This is the BEST coffee shop in round rock. So many drinks and all of them fantastic. The vibes; impeccable. The staff; always so nice and welcoming. The food; made with pure magic I swear. I would come here every day if I lived even a little bit closer.
google avatar

Suzy D.

Yelp
Stopped in here while I was downtown. Great staff and coffee. I got a delish cold brew. They also had pastries and breakfast tacos. Other pros: some off street parking
google avatar

Sandra H.

Yelp
I like this cafe! It's small, cozy, and chilled. I didn't stay long, had a matcha tea and was lucky to get the sofa for me and my friend to chat over a hot drink. I like the decor with plants inside. I'll he back for a pastry next time
google avatar

Emily M.

Yelp
Cute coffee shop with great ambiance! I am a huge coffee snob and this place checked every box. Loved the creativity on the drinks, and very friendly staff as well.
google avatar

Anriella D.

Yelp
Found this place through yelp. The parking in the front of the store can be a bit intimidating since people are speeding on mays street. Staff is very friendly. They do sell breakfast tacos. I like to go here because they have a nice setup. Place may be small, but they are always packed when I come.
google avatar

Brooke D.

Yelp
Oh my gosh I love this place!! I am so happy I came in here for a coffee and to read. I have been looking for a cozy coffee shop to work from home at and this place is perfect. They have great coffee and nice indoor and outdoor seating. The back patio is so cute and since it is covered and has ceiling fans, it is pretty comfortable even when it's hot out. The staff was also great! I will definitely be coming back!!
google avatar

Pree R.

Yelp
It's always troublesome to find a brunch place on a Sunday morning in Austin...too many Austinites, not enough breakfast builders I suppose. Even in the northern suburbs (i.e. Round Rock) it can be a challenge. When my boyfriend and I wanted to check out such a brunch place, we were met with 30-45 minute wait that would take us to lunch...so we decided to leave and head to the nearest coffee shop, which was Mi Mundo Coffeehouse and Roastery. I got a uniquely-flavored coffee (peanut butter latte with oatmilk) that definitely carried a peanutty flavor, but the lack of food options was bothersome, only because I was super hungry. Breakfast tacos were on the menu, as well as some other sweet treats like cinnamon rolls, but they were completely out by 11am. They did have two kinds of tamales available however (both of which were vegetarian-friendly). It is located in downtown Round Rock, which is overall a cute area.
google avatar

BJ B.

Yelp
Solid coffee shop. The cashier was friendly and helpful and seemed overall happy to be there. The space was cute. People working on their laptops around the place. There's indoor and outdoor seating. It's not a big place and seating limited. They offer outsourced baked goods and a variety of their own foods. I ordered the Peppermint Mocha latte iced. Pretty good. It's your standard latte.
google avatar

Phillip E. S.

Yelp
Mom and I are in Round Rock for a few days of vacation. In looking for a coffee shop to hang out at, I performed a Google search and this was on top of the list. As much as it was a roll of the dice, it was a good choice. The staff was very friendly and made great suggestions off their menu. Mom had the Pumpkin Spice latte, while I had coffee with a shot of espresso. Yum, delicious! The interior of the shop was very homey, warm, and inviting. Seating is limited, so show up early and grab a table. Definitely check out Mi Mundo!
google avatar

Kenny N.

Yelp
On my way to meet friends for lunch, I was in the mood to try something new, so I opted for one of their signature lattes. I ordered the peanut latte, but unfortunately, it didn't quite hit the mark for me. The first sip was like drinking straight peanut butter that had slightly melted in the jar. I stirred it thoroughly and tried sipping from a different part of the cup, but it still tasted like watered-down peanut flavor. Disappointed, I ended up not finishing it and grabbed a different coffee during lunch instead. Parking was a bit of a challenge as well; they have only about 5-6 spots available, and it's clear you can't use the bank's parking lot next door. Inside, the space is cozy with maybe enough room for 3 tables at most, but they do have an outdoor patio which is a nice option.

Rosario S.

Yelp
Such a cute little coffee shop. Lattes were delicious!! Staff very helpful & polite. Great place to catch up with friends & enjoy a cup of coffee
google avatar

Priya S.

Yelp
I can't believe I took this long to leave these guys a review, this is one of my favorite coffee spots. The coffee just tastes of great quality. Sometimes I get there in time for a couple tacos, and recently they've been having these thick delicious cookies from a local baker. They run out of the tacos and cookies pretty fast so be sure to go early. It's a pretty small spot but if you wrap around there's some more seats in the back. I usually take my coffee to go. My favorite is the pistachio mocha regular milk but if you get it with almond milk it almost tastes like an almond extract mocha which I also love.
google avatar

Jinna R.

Yelp
A little cozy coffee shop in downtown Round Rock (close to Round Rock Donuts) with great coffee and fast service! Not only is the strength of their coffee on the medium-strong side (which I prefer) compared to other coffee shops I've tried but you also get pretty latte art for your favorite drinks as well...even if ordered to-go! What's not to like about that!? We had their specialty lattes; Pumpkin spice and honey lavender, and both with whole milk and asked for less sweet. They also have options for your milk; dairy (whole, 2%, etc.) or non-dairy (oat or nut milk) which seems to be the norm for every coffee shop these days. I actually loved both lattes but the honey lavender was more on the sweeter side than the pumpkin spice which I didn't mind at all, as it was not overly sweet like the ones you get from the chain coffee shops. All in all, we highly recommend this place, (especially if you're a coffee enthusiast); and we will definitely come back to try other items on their specialty latte menu for sure.
google avatar

Quan D.

Yelp
Tucked in little DT round rock, this cute little place offers coffee and tacos. Service was a little slow but I believe owner was training a new barista. Otherwise it was good for speciality latte.
google avatar

Anais B.

Yelp
Love the ambiance! Quaint, charming, and cozy! The vibe is rustic Ordered the cappuccino and samosa. The service was friendly and quick. The cappuccino was delicious with oat milk, and the muffin was fluffy and not dry. If you are in the area and want good coffee paired with a friendly atmosphere, stop at Mi Mundo!
google avatar

Sean M.

Yelp
Oh my gosh, I love this little coffee shop. I wish it were closer to me. I live in Northwest Austin and this coffee shop is in round rock, so it's a little over a 20 minute drive for me to get here. But it's so cute! It's a bit small on the inside, but that makes it cozy. When you walk in your basically immediately already standing at the front counter. They have a lot of options to choose from and their specialty coffees have been absolutely delicious. My husband got their blueberry coffee one day and it's literally the best coffee I've ever had. They have the typical bakery items like banana breads, and muffins, but they also have things like samosas or little breakfast tacos. They also have seating in the back outside. The staff is always been super chill and friendly. Love this place, can't wait to go back!
google avatar

Lyndsay W.

Yelp
Ambience and coffee is 5 stars. Outdoor and indoor options. Cute little space with art and cozy vibe. I wasn't crazy about the food selection. Pumpkin bread was dry and the other pastries didn't look appetizing. But it is a cute place and the coffee is good
google avatar

Jennifer M.

Yelp
It's a small and tight place but there are a few seating spots available. The staff were quiet but nice. I wasn't the biggest fan of the latte I got but looking forward to go back and try another one I had my eye on.
google avatar

Robert A.

Yelp
Nice little coffee shop on the north side. Not a ton of seating but the service and drinks make it worth a stop.
google avatar

San L.

Yelp
This place feels like home!! Everyone is so sweet and welcome you in. The ambiance is lovely they have plants and art! Great spot for a drink and a snack and study area. The coffee was fair price and was full of flavor tasted fresh very delicious! Had their banana bread as well they warm it up, all together perfect combination to get your day going with a good mood!
google avatar

Rachel R.

Yelp
Great spot in round rock! The employees were super friendly and they have a dog friendly patio put back. There isn't a lot of seating, but it wasn't overly crowded either. We ordered a few iced lattes to try them and found that they all were a tad sweet. I'd ordered 1/2 sweet next time I can see why this spot has such good reviews!
google avatar

Grace Y.

Yelp
The coffee is delicious and the women working were so friendly and helpful! Highly recommend stopping by. They also have a cute patio!
google avatar

Naol T.

Yelp
Sunday @9AM Ordered: -Signature Drip Coffee, black, 12 oz (smallest size) -Cheese and beans soft taco from Tacodeli (another TX establishment but orginated in Austin) Cozy (small), homey local neighborhood feel inside the shop. "Disco" music was playing, good music but not for those wanting a quiet space for study/work. Parking is a bit tough, especially with the lot next door under construction. Coffee and food was alright!
google avatar

Chris C.

Yelp
This is a great, cozy, local coffee shop. Friendly staff. Good cappuccino. Welcoming and relaxed. They roast their own beans on site. Take a bag home! Parking is a little limited but there are a few extra spots in the back.
google avatar

Raquel M.

Yelp
After any Saturday workout, I love to explore new coffee shops and get my usual: large, iced vanilla oat latte! My sister recommended this spot & here we are! Parking is scarce, but not hard to find. Go around to the back of the building & there's plenty of other spots. Okay, this place is soooo cute! So much character & charm! I love the rustic feel and earthiness. Also, prepare for it to be BUSY! The baristas were working hard cranking out those drinks. The line was outside the door so you know it's good. I ordered my usual & taking that first sip is important y'all. THIS IS DELISH. So freaking good. The coffee is quality & not too sweet. I love it. Love the notes in the coffee too. Will be back! They have a punch card, so make sure to pick it up and get it stamped! Coffee: 10/10
google avatar

Carissa S.

Yelp
We don't live full time in round rock, but we visit frequently. Every time we do, we go to Mi Mundo! They have the best coffee whether you're getting a shot of espresso or one of their amazing latte flavors (there has to be at least 25 flavors). You'll be impressed! No matter how many people are in line the drinks are made quickly, and the environment is so warm and welcoming it's an enjoyable experience all around! My go to order is a latte, either honey cinnamon or honey rose. Sometimes I'll go crazy and ask for an extra shot! My husband always gets a cold brew with a shot of espresso on the side. Also, on the weekends sometimes there are small business there selling handmade items! Love their mission of improving the world!
