Mi Noodle Bar

We were lead here by the Yelp NYC Top 100 list and as usually, it didn't lead us wrong. The menu features dishes from different Asian cuisines. We've been to many different Asian restaurants and was impressed to find very unique dishes here mixed with some staples I love. We started with a few appetizers: the crunchy rolls, the garlic chive pancake, and the mi-gan dumplings. My preference was the order listed. They were all delicious, but the crunchy rolls were incredibly unique and unlike anything I have had before so they took the cake for best app. For entrees, we shared Phat See Ew, Khao Soi, and Xete. Khoa Soi is always a favorite of mine. Xete stood out as my favorite amongst the three though since I had never had a broth like it. It reminded me of a ramen that was richer with more flavor. We finished with the Thai Tea Crème Brulee and loved it. A very unique take on the traditional dessert. The service was outstanding. Our waitress provided great recommendations and had a lot of knowledge about the food. The portions were huge and the prices were reasonable. It was easy to get a table too. More people should be checking this place out.

If you love Thai tea, get the creme brulee! It was a wonderful twist to the regular stuff. We also got everything on the happy hour menu and the Thai sausage dumplings was our favorite. I've never seen any other restaurants do this either. So this restaurant was definitely a place you should try as they offer unique culinary twists to your usual Asian foods.

A hidden gem! I am surprised that crowds are not lining up to eat at this location and it must be because word has not gotten out. This is one of the best authentic thai-vietnamese fusion restaurants in New York City. The Khao Soi is one of the best I've found, outside of Thailand. The Crunchy Rolls and the Pad See Ew are incredible. The Pho is flavorful, and filling. Not to mention they have a "Supersize Mi Challenge" - a 6lb bowl of Pho to be eaten in 90 minutes or less, in which you get to join the "Supersize Mi" Hall of Fame Wall. This restaurant is truly one of the best in the city.

The pho was decent - the noodles were okay but the beef was pretty good. They first give you the bowl with the noodles and the beef and then comes with a kettle to pour you the broth on top... I felt like my beef suddenly became cooked really fast from that boiling broth and was a little disappointed that I couldn't control it from being more cooked than I wanted it to be. The Thai ice tea was definitely way overpriced her - $6 and wasn't the best I've had at different Thai places I've been to. The seats (wooden chair ones)bwere very hard to sit on and starts giving me pain when I sit for a long time but I heard the other chairs that has back support (white color) was comfy. The sauce on the veggie dumplings was a bit overwhelming but pretty good and it looked appetizing. The pork rolls was not bad either, and they do have a super size pho challenge here which I guess created the hype.

This place was lovely and the service was great. I would come back to try another vegetarian dish. I love Khao Soi and I was a little disappointed after being really excited to see this on the menu. The curry base was ok and the vegetables were not what I would normally have in the Khao Soi. My brother in law had the pho and he loved it. The Vietnamese coffee was good but just a tad too sweet.

I ate the pho ans added bone marrow. The bone marrow is a very good portion for 5$ extra. The pho was also a big portion, but to be honest there was way too much noodles comparred to the amount of meat. I was very full at the end of my meal, but has to leave noodles unfprtunately. Because we had the option ti add bone marrow, i was expecting the pho to have a nice beefy taste itself. However, it was pretty ordinary and the amount of beanspout we received was pretty scarce (not even a handful). My sister and father ordered the same thing as I did but both complained that some noodles were cooked unevenly and so some of it was hard. I did not have that problem. My mom did not like her dish (banh can cua) because it did not taste as rich, in her opinion. Our meal was pretty expensive for the quality of food we got. This place is okay to go to, but don't have high expectations.

4 of us went to Mi noodle bar and try the giant pho. We need to wait about 30 mins for them to prepare. All the meat was very fresh. With the soup base, all the meat taste tender! unfortunately，we still can't finish the giant bowl pho. So we asked take out for the rest. I think this giant pho is good for 6 person lol It's very cool experience, but make sure you bring friend to share the giant pho together!

Not cheap, but they have to pay the rent. Something different for the neighborhood. It’s Southeast Asian comfort food done well for Chelsea Manhattan. Pleasantly surprised and I’ll be returning to try the rest of the menu!
