"Mi Pequeño El Salvador, née Tierras Salvadoreña, is a solid pupusería in Jackson Heights. They have a tight pupusa menu with the typical cheese, beans, spinach loroco, chicharrón, and revueltas, but also a couple of rice flour varieties. Right now, I’m digging the pupusa queso con ayote a.k.a. cheese and zucchini." - marisel salazar

The pupusas here were really good. They were fresh, tasteful. The service and atmosphere was nice and delightful for this hidden gem. I will definitely come back for some more good pupusas and drinks.

Incredible food. I ordered the Mariscada a lo Salvaforeno. It was a seafood combination platter that was out of this world. My girlfriend had the flank steak. Service was fast and they had a dj come in towards the end of the night . There’s a little bar but the vibe was fun . I will be coming back anytime I have a stop at LaGuardia

I've been visiting this restaurant for pupusas mixtas, picada and nachos for years 😋. But unfortunately my last visit was very different from all the others. The sauce served for the pupusas was extremely spicy 🌶 something I NEVER experienced before and so I covered my pupusas in that amazing sauce not thinking twice about it like i always did and 🥵😵What I used to love about this place was the fact that everything was Flavored just right without the need for extra picante. I cannot have spicy food so my last experience 😩 was a real disappointment that hurt. if this is a new change to their recipe it may no longer be my go-to 😩💔. Thank you for all the wonderful years of delicious food. 🙏🏽

Google
So a few of the reviews I read said they waited a long time to get the food and that it was just ok. I DO NOT agree, it did take a little time but it’s not fast food, it all was fresh and had just been made. The pupusas de revuelta were super hot and fresh, the tamale de elote con crema was just as fresh and super moist and it all tasted AMAZING!!! I have tried a LOT of pupusas tamales and other South American dishes over 14 yrs and these were the better ones I’ve had!!!! Good job on the food and the service was great too very friendly and we didn’t feel like tourists.

Food is great I would go with family to go eat some delicious pupusas but when we want a delivery they can’t I don’t live very far it’s only 12 minutes in bicycle it’s the only closest El Salvadorian restaurant to me it’s disappointing.

2022 update: everything is extremely salty or sugary. This place is the leading cause of diabetes and heart disease of queens I had spinach and zucchini papusas. Spinach was my favorite, tastes more earthy. Hope to see more vegan options in the future😌 Jalapeño margarita was spot on worth the 10$ Nicee place, everythings clean even the bathroom.

Google
My whole order wrong, it’s just pupusa how do you mess that that up. I ordered two pork One chicken And cheese And two loca Instead I received cheese and vegetables not sure how you can mess that up, never coming back again

Google
This place is not worth it ! The pupusas don’t even have any meat inside You might as well say no meat !! The point of ordering a pupusa with chicarrón and cheese to to taste both This is a sad looking pupusa Don’t waste you time and money on this place if your looking for authentic Salvadorian food please look else where !! Not a place I would recommend.

Yelp
Occasionally, I find myself in this awesome neighborhood, and I know my wife will kill me (figuratively speaking) if I don't return with some pupusas. I can never remember the name of the places I go to, so I've decided to use Yelp for keeping records. I have to say, I was impressed when I called. The gal who took my call was fairly bilingual and able to help me sufficiently in English. The problem, in my mind, was my own... I didn't understand that my wife wanted pupusas with cheese, beans, and chicharron all in the same pupusa. So I got her some chicharron pupusas and some with just beans and cheese. I asked for 2 very large containers of curtido. Everything was ready before they said it would be, and everything was there, packaged well. I was happy till I got home. At home, my wife was really disappointed that there didn't seem to be an option for all 3 ingredients in the same pupusa on the menu, and obviously she was pissed at me for misunderstanding her. But she tried what I brought home, and she was utterly disappointed. She said they were very, very plain. Tasteless. She considered throwing them away. Couldn't even finish the ones she tried. So, while I think this place had really good service, and I would make this out regular place if my wife liked the pupusas, I won't be returning. I don't think you should base your decision to go on my review, though. Check out out for yourself... maybe they'll make you a pupusa with all 3 ingredients in it!

Yelp
We were craving pupusas and this places popped up! We ordered a few including the steak shrimp chicken tipica and the pupusas combo. The order came earlier than expected and We dug in and almost forgot to take photos. The pupusas was really good and for 3$ a piece you can't beat that! The meats in the tipica were overly cooked and a little dry, I also couldn't help but feel that everything was very salty. I'm definitely going to order pupusas here again next time but may pass on their other items.

Nery M.

Yelp
I visited this place in a rainy day so hungry in hope of having a comfortable meal. Me and my wife ordered pupusas de queso con loroco and our SHOCK and DISEBELIEF when we received pupusas de queso con chicarrón. I went to the lady who took the order about the wrong order she gave and she put the BLAME ON ME?? saying I was the one who ordered it wrong when I had always ordered the same thing. Secondly, my wife wanted 8 piece of buffalo wings and French fries. The amount of salt that was put in her wings was immaculating that she had to use the bathroom multiple times. Despite the horrible food that was given, my wife was still kind enough to tip about 10 dollars. Still would not recommend it.

Yelp
Always reliable Salvadoran food, strong pupusas, solid refritos. I've ordered takeout towards closing and they've stayed open until I got there to pick it up.

Rafael D.

Yelp
I love my visits to Queens when I can stop by this Salvadoran gem and pick up some "comida tipica". I love their pupusas or white corn tamales with Elote cream. My fave: Chicharron con queso (Pupusa) with red cabbage slaw and tomato base. YUM!!!

Yelp
Always order through Uber. They always get the order right and they never fail with following instructions. Their food is spectacular.

Yelp
Stopped by for lunch. The guanabana batido, using the soursop fruit, was a blended creamy smoothie, offering a flavor that was a mix between coconut and banana, and reminding me of a pina colada. The 2 pupusa combo had a good volume to price ($15) ratio, providing sausages, refried beans, and the rest in conjunction with the pupusas. The synchrony of the pork with the cheese made for savory bites, though I fumbled with how to use the extra salad. The two sausages were crisp though slightly small. The saltiness from the refried beans worked effectively with the white rice and the sweet plantains served as a mini-dessert. The extra plain tortilla could guarantee fullness in many individuals. Service was great and helpful in describing the menu items. In terms of decor, some artwork, food pictures, a map of El Salvador, and a few streamers decorated the area. Three large flatscreen tv screens were broadcasting a football match. As a bonus, this place participates in several rewards programs (e.g. dosh, yelp cashback, Rakuten dining).

Yelp
Passing by Jackson Heights neighborhood, I ordered two pupusas: Revuelta and cheese with chicharron to take out. Revuelta is Cheese, Beans and Pork Rind. I was able to get order and get the order very fast. I like the Revuelta more than the cheese with chicharron. They had really good spicy cabbage pickle on the side. The pupusas were ok and probably 5 inch, but there was enough filling. I m not sure if it is because I didn't eat it immediately and they were not crispy like other places. The pupusas were 2.50 each, which is really cheap. I will try again their other dishes if I m in the neighborhood.

Yelp
Temporarily increased to four stars because they sent me a very nice understanding comment. Will go back soon to try pupusas. Not a big fan of Tierras. I called them well in advance and asked if I could buy single pupusas. Yes, they said. I drove all the way up there, went in, asked for two single pupusas of different kinds... but wait. You can only buy them in 3s. Wait, what? But I only wanted 2, and I hate throwing food out, and we had too many leftovers already. In fact they didn't have one of the kinds I wanted so I just wanted to order one. She laughed at me. Some guy had told me on the phone, they will sell me a single pupusa. Apparently someone got their wires crossed. So for bad customer service I give them a 2, and I'll try them again someday if we can figure things out in a more civil and compromised way. Will update my rating when I try it for real.

Amber J.

Yelp
We walk in- the decor is inviting, the smell irresistible. I knew exactly what I planned on ordering- as many pupusas as I could reasonably expect to eat. The 2 pupusas combo turned out to be a feast. I loved it here, and our server spoke to us in Spanish from start to finish, so not only was the meal delicious, it was educational as well. Highly recommend.

Yelp
I ate here tonight with my boyfriend and I don't understand how this place has more than 2 stars. The service: it's okay. The waitresses weren't rude but not nice. Our waitress didn't check up on us, I had to hunt her down to get the check and I sat there with nothing to drink because I couldn't find her to tell her that I wanted water. The food: this is mostly what I'm basing my review on. We ordered the pupusas made from pork and cheese and the medium picada. The pupusas were terrible, hardly any meat and mostly cheese. But the oddest thing about the pupusas which I have never seen is that they use pepper jack cheese. I'm not sure that it's traditional, but I wasn't a fan and neither was my boyfriend and neither were my parents who tried to eat our leftovers. The picada, barely had any meat. You could literally count the pieces of meat. It was mostly fried yuca they filled the plate with which was disappointing. I would never come back here or recommend this place to anyone.

Yelp
"Eat and Repeat" I recently was introduced to pupusas a month ago, so I wanted to do something a little different on a Sunday evening and I decided to drop by this place. This is a very family-oriented established and I assume the majority of the patrons live in the neighborhood, so the restaurant has a nice authentic vibe to it. Plus it seems that you get a generous amount of food for the 13.50+ plates, so it may be better to share with a companion. I tried the pupusa with chicharron ($2.50) and the tacos salvadorenos ($8.50). The pupusa was very tasty and it was not as soggy and greasy as the ones I had in the past. And, the "coleslaw" had the right amount tartness and acidity. The carne tacos, which are kinda like flautas, were pretty good although the meat could have been seasoned a little more. The only negative thing that I can say is that the service was a little sluggish as it took about 10 minutes to get a glass of water and the place did not seem overly crowded. I definitely would like to return so I can try some of the various sopas on the menu. I wish that I was not in an extreme starvation mode, so that I could have spent more time exploring the menu. But, this will give me a reason to return.

Yelp
I am a big supporter of local business, especially when I live so close. I get so annoyed when there are so many food options and people go to Mcd's. My knowledge of Salvadorian food is somewhat limited but I have had it from a few food trucks that were pretty bad ass. The place is larger than expected, communication is somewhat limited so speaking Spanish might be a plus. I would want to go back and try to entree food. The food: Pupusa Revuelta- Tortilla filled w/ cheese, beans & pork rind. The puposa had a nice texture, the cheese and beans inside were great, I didn't notice much of the pork rind, though. It was a good pupusa, but wasn't great. I wish it had some type of crunch from the pupusa. The slaw was a nice condiment. http://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=mm1WIwHXovnI2o2FmHMT5Q&userid=Y_iTTjKvV5hLy-880SZzlA Tamal de Sal- Corn meat tamale. The texture of the tamale here was too soft, I wish they were a little more firm. The meat inside was chicken and potato, it was alright, nothing really exciting. http://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=QBmPd_gGYRj5ztv4uzFq8w&userid=Y_iTTjKvV5hLy-880SZzlA Ceviche de Concha Negra- This ceviche consists of black or blood cockle. The ceviche is nice and refreshing, it is a tad acidic. The blood cockle had a nice crunch, but it does have a slightly off putting flavor. Blood cockle has a very distinct taste that is not for everyone. http://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=R36Go038RN9UHzj9GTf4SQ&userid=Y_iTTjKvV5hLy-880SZzlA

Yelp
Place serves good pupusas, originally came to have shrimp pupusas for my girlfriend, told me over the phone they had. However, to our disappointment, they didnt. I got my Revueltas which tasted great and the pupusas de frijol couldve been better.

Yelp
We arrived in Jackson Heights on Mother's Day after being threatened by a vagrant on Roosevelt St in the slums of Flushing. Fortunately, my real mom was not involved. Mi Pequeño was the closest restaurant when we decided to celebrate our survival. The festive atmosphere of the restaurant, decked with shiny "Día de Mama" balloons, was perfect. The mondongo was so good, I wish my gym (another five-star establishment) would fill their rather small pools with it, so that I could swim in this hearty soup, scooping up perfectly cooked and seasoned bits of tripe and colorful vegetables, tasting the fragrant, salty broth instead of chlorine. The carne asada plato came with enough food to stuff into a 11.6-inch MacBook Pro, and was also delicious.

Jillian P.

Yelp
Stopped by here because family request was pupusas. We ordered the queso, mixto, and my husbands favorite the chicharon. The vegetable sauce that they're served with was more tomato based than some of the others I've had but was super savory and delicious. Will come again next time I'm in Jackson heights.

Tyler L.

Yelp
Went here with a friend to have their pupusas. This is a nice family run place with a friendly waitress that has been in the neighborhood for many years. The pupusas came out very quick and were very fresh. The best ones for me are the pupusas revueltas , which came with cheese, beans, and chicharron. We also enjoyed their nice enchiladas, which is different from the Mexican version and comes open faced. I recommend getting some horchata too to accompany your food.

Love2eat 7.

Yelp
Let me start by saying I love this place and the food. But today the service turned out to be bitter/sour. I get it it's Christmas and we all would like to be off to spend time with our families but sweetie if you gonna have that attitude at work, at least, call in sick or request the day off. I walked in the restaurant and I've ask the server, are you guys still open ? She has the nerve to answer me, If we weren't open how did get in !! A simple yes we are or not, would of been nice. I've been going to this place the longest you been working here and if you know I also been working in the industry for so many years. From server, bartender, supervisor to a manager. And just for the record I worked a Doble today as well and not a single customer had to deal with a bad attitude. I'm sorry if my tab wasn't big enough to make your day but at least pretend that you are happy working here.

Victor H.

Yelp
We ordered a lot of food. Here is what we ordered: 6 Pupusas Chicken Soup Chicken with Rice Steak with Rice Pina Colada We all ate like there was no tomorrow and the food was great, they were all delicious and worth coming here for dinner!

Liliana J.

Yelp
Today, pupusas were on my mind and this place had the winner ticket. This place has a very nice decoration, its has a modern vibe, pretty laid back and cozy, thumbs up for that! Since pupusas were on my mind...that's what we ordered, pupusas revueltas, the order comes with salsa Roja (red sauce) and cabbage (repollo) let me tell you.. they did not disappoint, they were delicious, I also ordered a passion fruit juice, a little on the sweet side and watery, maybe something to look at, but still the pupusas were so good that I can't remove a star because of a juice. The service was pretty good, I don't know her name but she had a nice curly hair, she was not intrusive at all but I noticed she will look at us from the distance, she did not come to our table to see if we needed something instead she will try eye contact to see if we did. The moment we looked where she was standing she will come right away with anything I needed, I will definitely come back to this place.

Elena I.

Yelp
Awesome place! My friend brought me here to try Salvadorian food. Wonderful quality and delicious food.(my favorite combination) Also, 7 dollar margaritas and mojito for happy hour!!

Rachel G.

Yelp
We were led to this small Salvadorean restaurant by NY mag, which has it listed as a "critic's pick" on their website. The dining room is on the smaller size and was almost empty at 2 PM on a Saturday. There is an extensive menu, but as we were planning on hitting up several eateries that day we only got a few things. We ordered 3 pupusas (one pork, one bean & cheese, and one plain cheese) and one meat tamale. The tamale came wrapped in a banana leaf, and my boyfriend said it was tasty. The pupusas were pretty darn good, but didn't have a ton of flavor on their own. The bean and cheese was probably the best of the three. They served them with the typical curtido (like coleslaw without the mayo) and a slightly spicy red sauce. The red sauce was delicious and added a lot of flavor. All this food cost us only $10 (including tip). Service was friendly and the food came fast, although we had some trouble communicating that we wanted tap water and not bottled. Overall, we weren't disappointed that we had made the trek to this place, but it wasn't as amazing as NY mag made it out to be. We both agreed that the pupusas at the Brooklyn flea are better. It's definitely a 3.5 star place, but I gave it an extra .5 star for the muy sexy Spanish hip-hop videos playing on 2 huge flat screens.

Yelp

Yelp
Hands down amazing pupusas. I don't know anything about Salvadoran food but these things are fantastic. For $6 you get 3. I suggest coming here with some friends so you can sample different kinds. I had the queso y chicharron pupusas. They're made fresh to order so it takes probably 5-7 minutes. They're a little messy so I suggest sitting down, it isn't a great walk-and-talk kind of food.

Yujin O.

Yelp
Came here for lunch on a Saturday. The service was quick and the good was great! We are new to the neighborhood and this place is very close to our apartment, and i think we will definitely be coming here often to try other things. I saw the soups and they also looked amazing! The portions are big and good for sharing.

S H.

Yelp
Simply delicious food! We ordered takeout of some dish with plantains, rice and beans. Not sure what was all in the dish because we have never had Salvadoran food before. But we were visiting NY and decided to try this place to get lunch. Everything was fantastic and whatever the name of the dish was we ate---I would certainly order it again. I would have to order by the photo though. LOL.

Marcela P.

Yelp
My husband and I came tonight for the first time and we didn't leave till past midnight because we had such an amazing time. Its hard to find a restaurant that has great quality of food & great service as it's rarer to find but here at Mi Pequeño El Salvador we found that and so much more. We loved it so much we'll be coming back on the weekend to try more yummy food and some dancing. Best Salvadorean joint in the city

Jazmin H.

Yelp
I love this place but one time I went there with my dad the service was disgusting they gave us our drinks then we waited for our food for more than an hour !!! When we told them we out the cook decided to get piss like hello you made us drink liquid for an hour !! The second time I went the chicken coated with bread crumbs HORRIBLE all oily and the bread crumbs fall out disgusting was eating our OIL . Don't recommend would give 0 stars if I can

Ellie B.

Yelp
If I want to get a taste of El Salvador this is my go to place. I've been coming here for a long time. Everything I've eaten here is delicious so far. If you want authentic Salvodoran food w/o going to El Salvador this is your place. The atmosphere is very layed back & good for a family dinner. The only thing they could work on is taking orders out to go a little more careful & bringing items in a timely matter especially if the place isn't packed. That's the only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5.

DiViNa N.

Yelp
Came here during the day time around 3-4pm sunday. This is a cute small place for family and friends. I brought my family here that came to visit from Florida. The atmosphere is simple and cozy. A man came into the store playing a guitar with a beautiful voice then he left. The food is absolutely delicious! I ordered a papusa combo and it came with alot of sides, it was a decent amount of food they provide! My family can be picky with their food and im surprised they left their plates empty. The tip is already included in your meal, not a very big deal to me but it may make a difference for other people. But overrall it was a good environment. Only thing is looking for parking, come early! Lol

German P.

Yelp
Food is subjective, what's good for you might not be good for me. Everyone claims that every Salvadorian restaurant in the United States that they go to has the best pupusas, but if you've had the opportunity to eat pupusas in El Salvador straight out of a comal not a greasy grill, you'd know what cheese, beans and chicharron in a pupusa is suppose to taste like and this place is perhaps light years away from that. The brother, his wife, wife's cousin and I stopped by on a Sunday afternoon. The place feels small, tables wobbly and in need of some sort of renovation. We ordered a few pupusas to eat there and a few to go, the waitress had a face on her like she seemed a bit uninterested in helping us out. As we waited, we had some improvised mariachis from the street come in and ask us all for tips after they played music we didn't want to hear and then we had a homeless man without one arm ask us for some money. The pupusas arrived and we began, I ordered rice pupusas with cheese and let me tell you guys something, cheese in a real pupusa is meant to be stringy, non greasy and non smelly, it's a cheese called "quesillo" which here in the states we don't have. These pupuserias here have gotten lazy or simply don't care and they add mozzarella or anything else to cut corners. The cheese in these pupusas I had was swimming in grease, salty, non stringy and had a texture of mud. The curtido is purple, who the hell came up with this dumb idea that the slaw for pupusas was suppose to be red or purple? REAL curtido is suppose to be the color of cabbage, with a bit of spiciness, pickled carrots, cabbage and small pickled ONIONS! Some of you reading this might think "hipster or food snob" and no, it just annoys me that restaurants like these want to pass off these things as pupusas and people that have never had a good pupusa in their lives come here to say "these are the best pupusas I've had" I can't really give a review on anything else in the menu since we just had the pupusas and I wanted to leave this place as soon as possible, who knows if everything else on their menu is good, but as far as pupusas go, never again.

Yae-Jee H.

Yelp
Pupusas!!! Second time coming here to eat this delicious Salvadoran dish. Pupusas are corn tortillas filled with cheese, beans, and/or meat. I love the pickled slaw that come with the pupusas and the sauce as well. Waitresses are always very nice and the restaurant is very tidy. I would recommend this spot for a quick, cheap lunch or dinner.

Adriana H.

Yelp
Love this place! It's nice to have a Salvadoran restaurant in the culinary diversity that is Jackson Heights and the pupusas and curtido are consistently delicious. I know most people always recommend the horchata, but I recommend the Jugo de Maranon :)

Rita K.

Yelp
Good pupas and horchata. Very clean and friendly service although the waitress spoke little English. The tamarind drink was also good but I didn't like the dessert quesadilla- it was too cheesy. The bean and cheese pupusas were filling but the cheese was a little oily. I also got the salpicon with salad rice tortilla and refried beans. It was not great, a little bland but not bad either.

Rubin L.

Yelp
The food was ok. The 13 dollar piquadera that I got was really a joke. For the location and the ammount of meat it should've been closer to 5 bucks. The waitress didn't come check up on us once. We waited a good 15 minutes for refills but since she never came around we got up to ask for the bill. The pupusas were o.k. and for the 2.50 that was fine. They had a different flavor from what I'm used to eating so I did end up taking the rest home to see who picks at them or w.e. sometimes the food sucks in a restaurant. But the service is so good that it makes ur experience closer to a 5 star restaurant. My experience was truthfully a 1 star. Just didn't want to give a 1 star review doesn't feel right lol

Estevan U.

Yelp
Greatttt food.....I love pupusas I ate here for years. But what I can eat every day is Sopa DE Carne.... Love it,love it.

Nina T.

Yelp
I recently ordered from this restaurant through Grubhub. I guess my mistake was ordering an hour and a half before closing. My order was simple, flank steak WELL DONE and an avocado salad, that's it. What does well done mean??!! The steak was medium rare at best, and then they refuse to correct it because it's too late and refuse to refund any portion!!! I did not spend 23.00 to have to pull out a frying pan to salvage this!! With businesses struggling during this time, you think they would be more grateful for the patronage!!!

Meylin M.

Yelp
These are the real deal pupusas, some of the best I've ever had both in and out of El Salvador! I especially love when I eyed the kitchen and saw the ladies hand patting (no frozen here). They updated the decor and for the most part, service is good :) We usually get the 2 pupusas combo platter and share between two of us and order an extra pair of pupusas you're set. Madurai's and cream is also a personal fave of mine. You're welllcome.

Stephanie C.

Yelp
Friendly staff and great food . Not only are the pupusas delicious every time but the seafood is as well a must try is shrimp asado with rice was extreme good

Yelp
Good pupusas, which I'd only had for the first time, which is rather odd considering I'm a diverse and adventurous eater. Their cinnamon tea is awesome. It's super cinnamony and just great. My friend and I didn't order much food but the server let us sit and talk for almost two hours. It wasn't busy at all, so it makes sense but I really appreciated that.

Yelp
I grew up eating Pupusas thanks to my father. We used to go every week to the Salvadorian restaurant in my childhood neighborhood. The spanish music would be blasting as there is no volume limit for us central americans but the Horchata and Pupusas were tasty and that's what kept me happy! After many years of a pupusas hiatus i found this place!!!!!!!! It brought back many memories and the food is so damn delicious!!! The prices are so cheap too. The service isn't the best, the music can definitely be loud at certain times, and sometimes there are drunk guys just hanging out there drinking BUT the food keeps me coming. I recommend the cheese Pupusas, Tamale de elote con crema, platanos frito, salvadorian nachos. As for drinks: horchata and sebada. As for dessert: Quesadilla!! (its not the cheesy mexican quesadilla you might be thinking of, it's a delicious cake like dessert you must try!) Go for quality salvadorian food!!!!!!

Yelp
Finally true salvadorian tasting food. Like if my own abuela was in the kitchen cooking. The taste to everything was delicious and they are also so friendly, not like other places where they act like they have a stick up their ass.

Yelp
So I was here 5 months ago & everything was amazing. I came back today & I can honestly say this is one of the worst experiences I've had at a restaurant. We all ordered our drinks 3 of us horchata which is a special latin drink. One of us changed our minds & wanted tamarindo instead. The drinks come & the waitress brings us 3 horchatas &&& the tamarindo. After we were waiting for our food & a cockroach crawls on my sister in laws shoulder! & to end the night the bill is supposed to be $30 & comes out to $64. They told us that they have changed the prices on the menu & didn't update them so we were looking at a menu they no longer use. Horrible service, horrible. Never coming back here, they've changed the staff too. The door also has no grade!

Yelp
Well, I wanted to do a pick up order.. And unfortunately, the person who answered didn't speak any English. I guess I have to take my money else where. Too bad the food was good too.

Yelp
Thanks for ruining all pupusas in LA. I will now have to go back knowing that this chorizo exists but I won't be able to have it. Merry Christmas. Edit 4-10-16: I'm back! I'm back! I'm back! And waiting on my dos revueltas combination plate!!!!!

Yelp
As I walked in I was wondering where we'd sit, the front is a hole in the wall. But, to the side is a nice dining area, with a dozen tables or so. Plus, we were the only white faces in the room, normally a good sign with an ethnic restaurant. Their shakes were decent but thin. Our waitress appeared to understand our order (placed in English), but then another waitress came by to double check our order & apparently the first waitress hadn't quite gotten it right. In fact, the second waitress got it a little off as well, but quickly corrected any errors. Some of the dishes were a little salty, especially the chile relleno, but we'd all go back. But, there didn't appear to be any air conditioning. there were overhead fans and the temperature was okay when we sat down, but as the restaurant filled it up the temperature went from okay to just too warm. The good: the food was plentiful, well-priced, and tasty. The bad: some language barrier, too hot.

Yelp
Best Pupusas I have ever eaten and I have tried from various restaurants even from Washington DC, Maryland, and Tennessee. This place is my favorite spot when I am in town! Great food, great staff, and best for weekend night drinks and music!
