Google
I've spent quite a bit of time in Peru, mostly in the north, and love the classics, so when I find a Peruvian restaurant that's my go to and what I crave. I over ordered because they had so many dishes I craved: yuca relleno, ceviche rocoto, aji de gallina. Every one of them was some of the best I've ever had. And while this isn't in Portland, this is definitely in the top 3 meals I've had in Portland. Even though I was stuffed I ordered a lucuma mousse which was topped with toasted amaranth. Every bite was just amazing. Can not want to go back at night to try a cocktail.

Amazing!!! Such good food. Every bite was an explosion of flavor. I can't wait to go back. Best grilled octopus I've ever had.

We’ve been several times and absolutely love it! We haven’t ordered a single thing we didn’t absolutely love, and it’s clear the food is made with a lot of passion for Peruvian cuisine. It’s the best restaurant in Tigard - make a reservation!

Google
Really good for the area. Not sure if I love the price for the quality but maybe more for the quantity. We ordered 2 ceviche dishes (which I see as an appetizer), empanada (only had 2 pieces), and one main (octopus) and it hit $100. It was good but I'm not sure if it was that good. Maybe more like $75? Might be super arbitrary, not sure if I feel strongly about it because it was really delicious, but I've had better for the price. Parking is a little rough. --- Ceviche classico ⭐⭐⭐⭐ - it's what you'd expect of a like ceviche, definitely a classic - little sour, very tart as expected - I like the fish, super soft Ceviche de Cameron ⭐⭐⭐⭐✨ - prefer this slightly more bc of the sauce, it's a sweater passion fruit - good quality shrimp but prefer the fish in the classic Empanada de carne ⭐⭐✨ - soggy - good inside though - generous with the sauce - not spicy, only came with a really mild cream sauce - only 2 Pulpo a la parrilla ⭐⭐⭐⭐✨ - a really thick leg, people usually serve thin ones!! - I love the smoked taste - love the sides - little salty in places though, which makes me unsure if I would reorder, I think it was only the sauce - loved the potatoes

Our first visit, with a reservation in hand, truly felt like a warm welcome. From the moment we stepped inside, the friendly service and relaxed atmosphere, enhanced by live music, embraced us. The delicious food sparked joy, even though we skipped dessert. We are inspired to return for more!

Google
Bri & I had the pork belly, chicharron de puerco; was delicious. We also had the yuca rellena & empanda de carne also very good. Waitstaff was great. A little pricey.

Google
As a Peruvian American I was so excited to try their choclo (corn) since not many restaurants have on their menu. I received my side order of choclo and look at the abnormally SMALL portion they gave us! And the price??? $6 ! Nah…..that’s a major rip off! They didn’t even bother filling it up to the top and didn’t add any Peruvian cheese in it or nothing. What a BIG LET DOWN. Like cmon my Peruvian brothers and sisters WHYYY 🫠😤

Google
Amazing Food!!! I was nervous but I love a little food truck in our area (Medford Oregon) named “Peruvian Point” so I assumed I’d like this. I was wrong. I absolutely loved it. I’m looking to see if it has more locations? AND WE ARE COMING BACK. Also, FYI Friday and Saturday they have live music!

Yelp
What's better to do on a relaxed holiday weekend late morning than to try a hot spot that's always packed for dinner?. . . try it for a late breakfast/early lunch and avoid the crowds! Seriously everything we tried here was really delicious! The pisco sour was refreshing and very pretty as well. The ceviche was the best I've ever had - really nice combination of textures, and the citrus sauce had just enough zip. The Yuca relleno was like sort of a perfect Mashed potato stuffed with really smooth tasty, melted Gooey cheeses, and the empanada was served on a roasted Red pepper sauce with a fresh house made Salsa of sorts, that combined nicely With a mild mustard glaze, and a great little pie stuffed with really nicely seasoned and moist Chicken. The staff was very Friendly and sweet. The atmosphere is great considering it's on Barbur Blvd, and in front of a dispensary - that aspect made for interesting people watching while we waited. We will definitely be back! In addition to lots of Beef, and pork, the menu has lots of pescatarian, vegetarian, DF and GF options too, so it appears there are lots of delicious things to explore, regardless of dietary desires/restrictions.

Yelp
We kept passing by Pisco Peruvian Restaurant and saying we need to try it. Finally, we actually stopped and had lunch and it was excellent! Everyone was extremely friendly and they checked in several times to make sure everything was going okay. I got the Passion Fruit Pisco Sour and it did not disappoint. It is very tart though, so if that's not how you prefer your cocktails, you may want to try something else. My husband had the Inca Cola and it was yellow and was more like a cream soda, but he said it was good. For a starter, we got the Empanadas de Carne. These were killer and clearly were freshly prepared and made in-house. The sauce was just a little spicy and really tasty. For our entrées, I had the Seco de Cordero, which is a lamb shank, braised in a cilantro sauce. It came with rice, beans, and Salsa Criolla, which complemented it perfectly. The only suggestion I would say is to ask for some hot sauce. It was really mild, but would have been nice with a little kick. Delicious as it was though. My husband had the Lomo a lo Pobre, which basically is the Lomo Saltado, but upgraded, with the addition of tomato, a fried egg, and plantains. My husband loves Lomo Saltado and he thought this version was excellent! Overall, we had a great lunch! It was a little pricey (no lunch menu at lower prices), but we will definitely be back, probably for a nice dinner the next time. Overall: definitely would recommend!

Yelp
Mi Pisco was absolutely delicious! My friends and I stopped by after checking out the Dambo Troll nearby. None of us had heard of this establishment before, but Peruvian food sounded great. The parking lot was tricky (construction) but once we were inside the restaurant was warm and welcoming. The wait staff were all very friendly and professional. It was hard to choose a dish because the food around us looked so good! One friend and I ordered the Lomo Saltado and our other friend ordered a chicken dish with cilantro rice. Everyone in our party was incredibly satisfied. After our meal we met up with friends and shared the experience and the restaurant location. I would love to return on my next visit to Portland.

Yelp
Absolutely steller peruvian spot! All the food was super fresh, particularly the seafood, which was absolutely delicious! Their selection of pisco sour cocktails are also very tasty. The service was great, the folks were welcoming, and the place itself was warm, cozy, and clean. I highly reccomend the papa rellenas, as they were freshly fried, crispy, and quite excellent! The rice dishes were also very flavorful and presented beautifully. You could tell the how fresh the shrimp was in the ceviche too! This spot is definitely a must try!

Ploy N.

Yelp
Casual vibe, very tasty food and pisco sour. Super fresh seafood too! We loved the Papa Rellena which were crispy on the outside and very creamy with their potato on the inside. The sauce that came with them were delicious. The pickled onions also made a great side to cut the fried rellena. The Shrimp Ceviche was decent too with fresh shrimp and lots of corn. Very refreshing. For mains, we split the Arroz con Marisco that came with a whole fried prawn and the Arroz con Pollo. Both were kinda like paella with flavorful rice. The arroz con pollo came with cilantro rice which I thought was very unique. The chicken thigh was very moist and tender but could be warmer...The seafood in the arroz con marisco was very very fresh. Big fan there! All in all, a great meal. The service was kinda new though so they have some stuffs to iron out but the quality of the food is definitely there.

Melissa Q.

Yelp
This place is surprisingly upscale for the typical suburban area it's in. The food is extremely high quality and fresh. It's very busy, but we got our food pretty fast. I got Mexican ceviche a lot and the ceviche de camarones I got here has a similar ceviche taste but with pine nuts, hominy and very different appearance than what I'm used to. My boyfriend got the arroz con mariscos. It was like a delicious paella with all these lovely seafood in it. It was nice sharing the two dishes together because I have a big appetite and the ceviche may not have filled me up. But since we shared both dishes it was the perfect amount of food. We also got the plantains which tasted buttery with the perfect amount of salt. Wonderful food.

Kelley M.

Yelp
Our first time visit and it did not disappoint! Only downside is the parking is quite tight and limited. The rest was awesome! Cocktails are artfully and loving made with pisco--big fan of the classic pisco sour and the Chilcano. The food was excellent! The cilantro ceviche was super flavorful and texturally divine. Love the anticuchos de corazon, perfectly seasoned and cooked. Main courses were also fantastic--tallarin de huacaina con lomo saltado and aji de gallina both rich, perfectly cooked, and could've licked the plates clean of the sauces! Can't wait to go back again! (Pardon the spelling errors; spell check was having a fit!). Cute spot that was clean and charming. Wonderful service with everyone helping each other; food and drinks came in good timed pace.

Yelp
A nice little gem off the busy road of Highway 99 in Tigard. The place has some really good food and also a refreshing pisco sour. They have items that are good for sharing or just for you to eat by yourself. I enjoyed the empanadas as well as the Arroz Chaufa De Pollo (reminds me of a well-balanced chicken fried rice). The people working here are friendly and attentive to our needs. I would come here again.

David F.

Yelp
I do like food and I love finding new places that are different with owners who are passionate about the food they serve. Mi Pisco is one of those places. First time here off of 99 and no regrets. Ordered the Empanada de Carne as a starter that immediately told me everything else is going to be wonderful. Had the Arroz Chaufa de Pollo (kind of a fried rice with chicken) that was very delicious. Also ordered the Lomo Saltado - Peruvian version of steak and potatoes. The meat was tender and the little potatoes were a nice touch. Finished with a creamy ice cream - Helado de Luccuma a type of fruit grown in the Peruvian Andes. (Yes I had to Google that!). Yummy. Service was excellent and the ambiance has that Peruvian flair with soft fluted music in a spacious room with plenty of comfortable seating. (One negative - parking. So think purple!) A must and will come back for me.

Marissa K.

Yelp
Amazing amazing amazing! Great food, service and ambiance. We had the lamb shank and breaded chicken breast. Both were divine. The passionfruit cheesecake was an incredible end to the entire meal! Will definitely be back!

Todd F.

Yelp
Portland has a few Peruvian restaurants and upon the glowing reviews, we had to try Mi Pisco! The reviews couldn't have been more spot on; The food is delicious, fresh and clean! There were three of us dining, all ordering different entrees and each dish was fantastic! I highly recommend!!

Anita E.

Yelp
Mi Pisco is a new eatery in Tigard. The ambiance just walking in the door is warm, friendly and colorful with a lovely South American feel. We were greeted and welcomed as soon as we arrived. The menu has a long list of various ceviches made with the fish of the day. I had the ceviche Classico and it was soooo flavorful with just the right amount of lime and cilantro. Hubby enjoyed his chicken which is called Tallarine verde. To finish off the meal, we shared a creamy desert called Mousse de Lucuma which is made from a mild fruit imported from Peru. Delish! What a lovely place! The only tricky thing was parking but that might be because of current road construction. The staff aimed to please. The restaurant is so inviting. And the food was a delight! Nice addition to Tigard!

Bob B.

Yelp
Has a packed parking lot and you know this is a great sign. Good food and warm service staff. Kind and caring and fast to see your needs. One of the best Lomo Saltados since Lima Peru. My Son had the Lamb shank and he loved it. Nice spot with clean bathrooms and plenty of seating. It was packed and we still got excellent service. One of the best papa la huancaina ever!!!! Northwest gourmet twist to Peru and still authentic feeling and soul. So glad we stopped by here.

Scott S.

Yelp
Very friendly and the food was fantastic. We had a great lunch here with nice flavors. I'd rather come back for dinner. The restaurant is newer to me and it's cutely decorated.

Mat H.

Yelp
I only give reviews of a place if it's off the charts outstanding, or so bad that I could get better results in an easy bake oven. This place is firmly one of the former. Several friends recommended I try this place and I'm glad I did. We ordered the beef empanadas and the papa rellena, some mashed potatoes stuffed and fried thingy, and they were both delicious. My son and I then ordered the lomo saltado. We both loved it. I'm going to try more of the menu next time I come, but so far they didn't miss.

Stephanie E.

Yelp
Staff are super friendly and great customer service. Place has a great atmosphere and seems it would feel crowded but doesn't at all. The food is amazing (as I expect with Peruvian food). Best ceviche I ever had. The lomo Saltado (Peruvian favorite dish) was perfectly cooked and marinated. The drinks were amazing -- highly recommend the passion fruit Pisco sour which might now be my new favorite drink anywhere. For appetizer, the carne empanadas were also amazing. We will be back! Thanks for the great experience! This place can get a bit busy so my only warning is be prepared to wait (took about 30 mins to get food but the order took a while to place -- maybe 15 min)-- but even then it's not that bad of a wait and well worth it.

Melody H.

Yelp
Five stars for quality of food and price, as well as an enjoyable family dining experience. Three stars for the coordination of bringing apps before drinks and not bringing both desserts at the same time, though it's clear everyone is busy and attentive, but timing could be improved. My boys (14 and 17) and I had a delicious and relaxing lunch, everyone was delighted with their food and we will be back! The ceviche was fresh and delightful and held well as the National dish of Peru. I didn't personally try the empanadas but my boys gave it a thumbs up. I ordered the arroz con pollo as my entree, and the tender chicken with the salsa rice was its own gastronomical experience. My boys had the pollo saltado and the aji de gallina and both were delighted with the new flavors. We finished it off sharing the picarones and helado de luccuma for dessert. The picarones were similar to half Indian fry bread and donuts, and the luccuma flavor was sweet and savory. We also had beverages: coffee was fresh and strong, orange juice was bottled but a good brand, and my sour pisco cocktail was a nice compliment to the flavors of the food. For three people with drinks, two apps, three entrees, two desserts, and a 20% tip it was $144, which is an amazing value. I am happy to welcome this wonderful restaurant to Tigard and will be back.

Yelp
Excited by all the great reviews for our newest local restaurant and a lover of the very flavorful Peruvian foods, we checked it out last night. The good... Service was friendly and helpful. We ordered the chicken empanadas, but all they had was beef...which was fine because it was a coin toss anyway. They did not disappoint. Two empanadas for $12, perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned, drizzled with a delicious sauce and garnished with a deliciously flavorful tomato and onion salad. Delish! I ordered the LOMO A LO POBRE as my entree. The beef was amazing, so flavorful and perfectly cooked. The dish was a little heavy on the carbs (rice, fried plantains, and fried potatoes) for my taste, but everything was perfectly cooked and delicious. The white rice is actually garlic rice. Room for improvement... My GF has trouble eating out because of her allium allergies. Unfortunately, that excluded her from most of the menu as her allergies could not be easily accommodated. They offered to make her ceviche from their fish of the day, Ono. Unfortunately, the ceviche didn't really deliver. The citrus overwhelmed the dish and the quantity didn't feel like a great value for the $18 price tag. Overall, we very much enjoyed our experience and plan to return. They mentioned that they hope to improve the menu to better accommodate various allergies. We certainly hope they do :)

David L.

Yelp
Really good. Was in Portland on a visit. Trusted Yelp since I've never had Peruvian food before. Order the Lomo Saltado and the Tallarin Saltado De Res. I can't say how authentic they were, bit both were delicious! I cleaned my plate. Afterwords we had the Mousse De Luccuma for dessert. It tasted like a mix of sweet potato and butterscotch. Also delicious. Service was friendly. There is limited parking in front but I believe there is more behind the restaurant.

Linda S. M.

Yelp
We tried this restaurant based on all the great reviews it's been getting. My husband had the lamb shank and I had one of the steak dishes. Both came with white rice, roast potatoes and plantains - super carb heavy and zero veggies. My meat dish was okay and I appreciated that it was cooked to order. My husband felt the lamb shank was grizzly and lacking meat. The service was very good considering how packed the place was. Our server patiently helped us decipher the menu and our food came to table without much wait time. It's a small place and extremely noisy and crowded. It was hard to relax and enjoy being out. We might try it again some time but it was not as good as we expected.

Meghan S.

Yelp
This was such a delicious find! My husband and I felt like we were back in Peru. We enjoyed the ceviche with the sweet potatoes and corn. The Lomo Salgado was tender and flavorful. The Papa Rellenas was rich and a fun dish with stuffed meat inside. Everything was fresh and well-executed. The service was friendly. Mother's Day was busy but the quality was there in all the dishes. The ambiance was light and lively. Highly recommend it!

Ana M.

Yelp
Is the best Peruvian restaurant in Portland Oregon!!! Food is always delicious very friendly staff and ambience !!!

E. N.

Yelp
Restaurant is easy to miss on the side of the road. Very simple, no frills interior. Our waiter was very friendly and explained everything on the menu. Seviche was incredibly flavorful. Beef dishes were very juicy and delicious. A huge concern for me was the bathroom: not clean and.....no soap. Hopefully, it will not result in GI problems.

Jonathan G.

Yelp
Mmmm...sooo good!! We had the lamb shank and lomo Saltado. Very good portions and the meats were cooked so well and were so flavorful!

sofia f.

Yelp
New gem in the neighborhood. Great, friendly atmosphere. Traditional Peruvian dishes and delicious drinks. Try the empanadas, the meat is perfectly seasoned with egg and olives inside.

Brett W.

Yelp
Drink and food are fabulous, unique and flavorful. Cheerful service even with the super busy night, quality was on point.

Rita S.

Yelp
What a pleasant surprise! They have been open for only 3 weeks. We left Costco and we wanted lunch. Mi Pisco is located nearby on Pacific Highway. We ordered pollo santado and it was delicious. As a side we ordered the fried banana. Our server was friendly and efficient. We will return.

Dibesh S.

Yelp
Excellent food, super friendly owner. Been here multiple times and each time has been great. Causa de camarón is fantastic as is Ceviche de ají amarillo. I also had Lomo saltado which was best in town with juicy steak. Stir fried rice my wife had was ok, not our taste but other than that stir fried rice everything else is highly recommend.

Sharon P.

Yelp
Wonderful change of pace...great service. Delicious food...one of us had beef, the other one had chicken. We will definitely return!

Ella H.

Yelp
The atmosphere paired perfectly with the food. Our table thinks this fabulous restaurant will move onto high class Portland foodie class in a manner of months. The drinks paired with the flavorful food. Every aspect of cooking was beau it fully brought into the food. Citrus, spice, color, presentation, and more. The server was a little inexperienced and slow to greet us. Would recommend %1000!

Cheyenne C.

Yelp
Great service! Delicious food. Loved the empanadas, ceviche and Saltado! Food came out quickly !

Adrianne C.

Yelp
Execellent food with wonderful flavors and and attentive service. Attractive and comfortable atmosphere.

Nancy G.

Yelp
Fantastic meal! Google helped us through items we were unfamiliar with but our server helped us as well. I love trying new foods; familiar flavors but yet new and exciting! The food was fresh and so delicious! The Pisco drinks were easily the best I'd ever had. Do yourself a favor and try the Pisco Punch! Started with ceviche and a fried seafood appetizer that were phenomenal! I had a bite of everyone at my tables dish and they were all fantastic. I loved mine the most which was a pork belly (cooked perfectly) with sweet potato. The staff was delightful and attentive. They are clearly passionate about making delicious, authentic Peruvian food accessible to us Portland foodies! Restaurant is cozy and perfect for a gathering of friends or a date. Not necessarily for kiddos unless you have a kiddo with a varied palate. We had a dairy free pescatarian in our group and a gluten free person and had no problem finding meals for them. Highly recommended!

Bob W.

Yelp
Great food, drinks, service and very nice atmosphere (lots of light). Everything was very fresh.

Barbara M.

Yelp
The food was delicious! We ordered Lomo Saltado, the beef was tender and flavorful. Service and Ambiance was great.

Randy G.

Yelp
The first time my wife and I went there the first thing we saw was that the people who worked there were very friendly and welcoming and then we had dinner there and the food was amazing! I would love to go back there again and again and I think you will enjoy it very much so give it a try! One thing I have to say is that they may have to soon be looking for a bigger restaurant because it's small but very cozy but they will outgrow it fast because the food was spectacular!

Martha V.

Yelp
Wow! My family is from Peru and I grew up eating these dishes. It tastes like a fancy version of what my mom makes. The waiters are very kind, as are the kitchen staff, and the restaurant looks like home to me! They have sweet decorations from Peru. So happy to see my culture being represented

Chris W.

Yelp
Staff was friendly. Meat was tender and well cooked. Empanada was yummy. I really liked the vibe.

Rae N.

Yelp
We came here for lunch on the basis of its strong reviews on Yelp and it did not disappoint. We started with Pisco cocktails that were very flavorful and authentic. We shared an appetizer of ceviche mixto, which was a mixture of fresh squid, shrimp, and fish marinated in lime juice. It was served with Peruvian sweet corn kernels, crunchy corn, and small slices of sweet potato. The combination of flavors and textures was superb. For our main course, my husband and I shared the Lomo a lo pobre, which is beef sirloin topped with a fried egg, rice, sliced baby potatoes, and plantains. Again, the flavors were beautiful and all the components fit together but were distinctive. The steak was marinated, tender, and grilled perfectly to our specified "medium rare". We also had a side salad which had extremely fresh mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, and fresh cilantro with a light dressing. Perfect lunch and I highly recommend this place!

Jeffrey H.

Yelp
A real find in our local area! The lamb shank entree was one of my favorite meals ever!! The rice and beans were the perfect accompaniments. Though new and very busy, our food came out in a prompt manner, served by a very friendly staff. I will be back in the very near future!!!

Barb G.

Yelp
So happy to have a great quality Peruvian restaurant in the tiny restaurant row on 99. once they ever finish the construction in the area , it should be easier to get to, as all the driveways are currently torn up. The food is delicious and expertly prepared. we enjoyed the empanadas , the classic ceviche, lomo saltado and tallarines, an unusual combination of steak and cheesy pasta. A little pricier than its neighbors but well worth a visit.

Andy H.

Yelp
Amazing authentic food, very friendly service. It was a real pleasure to eat a meal here.

Stacey B.

Yelp
I am so happy Tigard got this new Peruvian gem! The food here is unbelievable. I love Peruvian food and this is seriously the best I have ever had. We tried so many things and everything was so flavorful and delicious. We had empanadas, ceviche , anticucho de pollo, lomo saltado, tallarin verde, arroz de mariscos and two amazing desserts. There were three of us and we wanted to try a variety of things. Im sure I will be a regular diner here. I wish i took pics but we were too busy devouring the food. The service was also great. They were super attentive and very nice. I definitely recommend this place!

Adrienne B.

Yelp
Excellent food, great service! The staff were quick to take an order and the food came out quickly. Cute little place with a warm feel.

Jeff S.

Yelp
Wow! This place is great! And on the top of our list currently. Seriously my only criticism is there was small ice chips in my Pisco sour but it didn't matter because it was one of the best drinks! Maybe it was better because of it? Idk. Service was great too! We know the waitress from elsewhere and she somehow brings the place to another level. Ambience is romantic but friendly...perfect really.

T B.

Yelp
The best! We haven't had Peruvian food this delicious in a long time! Food was excellent. Service was friendly and prompt. Atmosphere was similar to a downtown restaurant rather than the suburb location it's in. Ceviche clasico and Tallarin a la huancaina were our favorites!

Natalia O.

Yelp
This place is an amazing addition to the area. The food is some of the best Peruvian I've had in a long time. My husband had the arroz con pollo, I got the ají de gallina and we shared the classic ceviche and beef empanadas. Everything was perfectly seasoned and well portioned. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Shelley B.

Yelp
Just go. So exciting to have a new delightful restaurant in Tigard! It was great! The portions are large and tasty. The chocolate mousse dessert is a must. Also try the Peruvian drinks.

Maria E.

Yelp
Such good food, great service. The ceviche was delicious. We also got the lomo saltado and the arroz con pollo. Everything was on point! Only thing I wouldn't get again was the lucuma ice cream. Definitely will be back!

Katie M.

Yelp
Wow! Everything was so incredible! We had the beef heart, ceviche mixto, and pollo saltado. The flavors were so fresh. It made me feel like I was globetrotting. The service was friendly and wait times were reasonable. Will definitely come back!
