I had the taco al pastor, one of the local favorites. I needed to drain all this oil off the beans, bacon, burger chunks and it became a tasty chili. The tacos were really oily, whatever they're smothing everything in.. it's impossible to stay clean. There was a chunk of bone in my taco almost cracked a tooth. I've seen many times when you're not greeted until you check out. Or the staff will ask you what table were you sitting at because nobody knows, lots of guess who. With their prices going up meals will be around $12-17, and nothing comes with chips and salsa. With Blue Agave getting ready to launch their second location and then soon thereafter a third location this place could be in some serious trouble, as they do complementary chips and salsa with their meals.

Amazing food and amazing service! The food is definitely authentic and is so fresh! My family and I came on Labor Day and it was so busy but they moved very fast and we didn’t have to wait long at all. Highly recommend this place!

It was so busy but my food came out in a very reasonable time! The burrito was delicious. The staff is so nice. I was distracted outside and they brought me the food. The food is always fantastic

The food here is different from the typical Mexican food we eat. We had menudo, which was good but very red. The beef enchiladas were shredded with a red sauce that was kind of spicy. We typically eat them woth ground beef inside and a lighter red sauce. Beans and rice were good also. It was pretty busy today, as the church crowd had it packed. The food wasnt bad, just not for us. Hopefully we can come back and try other things.

Stopped in for breakfast here and man it was good! The omelet was on point, fresh, the waiter did an excellent job of being on top of things, restaurant was clean, plenty of parking and priced reasonable. I highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast in Abilene.

Was the best stop for breakfast burritos! But no more. Quality and flavors have gone down hill. Eggs and meats are cooked separately. Eggs are bland the breakfast sausage is dry. Chorizo and egg burritos taste like chili and egg because they are not cooked together.

Everything was great until had to use the ladies room an I see a cook using the restroom than walking out without washing her hands .Later saw her flipping tortillas with bare hands. Delicious food but after seeing this I will not be going anymore.

As soon as you walk in you will notice the inside of this restaurant is not what you expected from the outside of the building. The inside is full of Hispanic flare with bright colors, scenic full wall paintings, and even a mock building awning that all makes you feel like you're sitting outside. You will immediately be greeted by a sign that asks you to wait to be seated. The smiling faces of the waitresses then come and escort you to a table. The chips and salsa is fantastic and the lunch entrees are even better. They only serve breakfast and lunch at the time of this review. The tacos are extremely good! My waitress, Susanna, made my experience even more enjoyable. She was bubbly, full of smiles, and was a great waitress. I will be back to try more things here and hopefully will be waited on by Susanna again! I would definitely recommend eating here.
