Mi Rancho Supermarket

Hello everyone, First and for more I will like to let everyone know that I heard about mi rancho supermarket through my dad. When going in, the 1st thing was to explore. The store has variety merchandise. I like the organization of the hot food area aka deli. But to tell you the truth, if you ever want Mexican sweet bread. Man you should try out all varieties. Best part is when you have the bread that is made from the baker ALONSO, you definitely going back. His bread is one of a kind, and all my kids and my Lil daycare always comes to the bakery to get what they want and fresh. You'll never find a place where your bread is still nice and soft for a few days. Thank you Alonso for your great gift that God gave you. We will be seeing you for a lot of events from schools and church activities. NOTE TO OWNER LETS HAVE BE AWARE OF YOUR PROFITS AND BE FAIR WITH YOUR WORKERS.

The store is okay,but they seem to pick and choose how they want to enforce their "no backpack" rule. I notice while walking around the store one lady was able to keep there bag while another wasn't, able to keep their bag, that was not right to treat thoese two ladys differently. Also there where a few gentlemen who had backpacks on.The staff said they work there but they were not wearing a uniform,which made me believe they were just friends. If no backpacks or bags are allowed it should be inforced equally across the board, no matter what type of bag its is,and employees need to follow the same rules as well. Especially since no other store in the area has the same rule. Besides that I was able to get my things and leave, with no other problem but I won't be spending my money there any more.

The pan dulce was pretty good although not a huge selection and definitely missing the classics. The Taqueria inside looks terrible all the food covered in plastic from the night before nothing looks fresh. I got a Carnitas Torta and it was the worst Torta Ive ever had. Soggy, tons of gristle and cuero which i didnt ask for and the carnitas were not tasty. Huge disappointment Im sure this place will not last

Mi Rancho, I was once lost, lost searching for a supermarket that was close, convenient, affordable, and had good produce. I searched wide and far but with no luck. Then you opened your golden doors and gave me a new lease on grocery shopping. Your produce is amazing, your meat is fresh, and your Taqueria is delicious (guac is off the chain). Since you opened, we have bonded. Now im attached and I dont know what I would do without you. P.S. Please start carrying the Topo Chico 12 pack of bottles

French? My dad has a property in france. Charge me whatever you want, but dont have the audacity and disrespect to tell me this isn't mexican bread. Go to france and prove this is french.. this must be a different type of rancho that is obviously not from Mexico. Must be from a salvadorian ranch

Super excited to finally have a decent grocery store in this neighborhood. There's quite a decent amount of items including fresh groceries, meats, dairy, hot food section, bakery, a coffee shop and Moneygram.

Outstanding Mexican food at the deli counter. Generous portion, delicious, I am a fan of the tacos! Don't forget the groc, giant burrito, pastry,and tamales. We need this market badly.

Friendly customer service. Great Latin American product selection and some of my favorite local items. BONUS they have a to go food section and their guacamole is super fresh and amazing!

This store is amazing! It's got in fantastic produce department piled high with fresh fruits and vegetables, a meat dept a mile (almost) long, a bakery with incredible treats. But beside all this plus a regular large supermarket it's got an incredible taqueria. Try the four tacos for $5.99 special (with chili e mix sebollo on side). Or the burritos for 9.99. hot tamales - queso e pollo e elote e pork. Unbelievable! Plus many other MX prepared dishes! Best Mexican supermarket in San Francisco! We love you! If you want the best in a MX Supermecardo that's gleaming fresh and clean make the trip there!

I've been wanting to check this place out since it opened! It's awesome in there. Soo clean, well stocked, and well organized! It's a full on supermarket with a produce section, deli/hot foods, butcher shop, and grocery items. The staff there were all friendly as well. My husband and I stopped by and got some hot foods (Torta and Breakfast burrito). Prices were reasonable. The breakfast burrito was $8 and came with chorizo. It was a simple burrito and the rice they used there was the highlight! Chorizo was on the mild side and tasted good. I didn't get to try the Torta but my husband enjoyed it! We checked out the butcher shop area and I felt the prices were reasonable per pound and everything looked clean and fresh. They have a good mix of Latin and American grocery items in here so it's a great one-stop shop. There's also a free parking garage that is indoor and underground. Will definitely come back here again!

I love the customer service from the Baker Alonzo he is very attentive, kind and when he makes a fresh set of bolillo bread or some fresh sweet bread (my favorite is the pink conchitas) out of the oven it makes you come back for more. Because even after 3 or 4 days at home they are still soft as if you just purchased it from that day. I introduced my sister to the store and now it's like her second home. I took my parents and they were happy with the cleanliness and the service. I took my spouse and his favorite place was the bakery. My favorite place is the deli and the hot food area. When your hungry and dont know what to eat you have a variety of delicious foods that you can choose from. So if you stop to read this. I hope you stop by and check out Mi Rancho supermarket. Im sure your going to make it your second home.

July 28, 25. Not sure why there isn't a line out this place just for the tacos alone. The price alone for 4 tacos is the price of just one tacos anywhere else. Wtf. Lol. This is my first time trying and I have no regrets. The asada is basically like ground beef and the carnitas is big chunks of pork. I said forget taking a pic and went for it. Plus got a melon drink. Get this all for $10.84.

They have everything we need and it's so close to home! Love the fresh food section and selection of poultry, beef and pork. We love getting our spareribs there!

I am into their hot tamales now. I think their bollo is awesome too. I made sandwich out of them. The sweet rolls are nice and fluffy.

Burritos and tacos here are great. We had them for lunch and then ate at the park next door

Are you kidding me.This market must lose money just to get you in the store.The tacos are huge two tortillas,enough meat for two tacos and a nice selection of meats,Lengua,Al Pastor,Chicken,Carne Asada,Huevo con chorizo,& more.You get 4 tacos for 5.99 and there is not a better deal in town.The salsa was on the spicy side but a perfect complement.Once you come to this gem at 5900 3rd St in SF you will be coming back.Guaranteed.Give it a try you will not be disappointed

I go to Mi Rancho on a daily basis. I usually start the day with their coffee, even though I will probably make it to STARBUCKS later. They re really a close knit group. When they first opened it was watermelon season. If they didn't have a cut--in-half watermelon, I would request one. They would usually accommodate. Their vegetables are usually very impressively fresh and reasonably priced. I confess that I shop almost every day. While I am bound to a wheelchair I cannot carry too much, at a time. Whereas ... I used to carry 4,5 bags at a time. They even cook food in the back , mostly Mexican. Now, the food is pricy but fresh. I had a Fireman laughing. I told him that if that truck is outside, and the Firemen are in here shopping.... the food has to be pretty good. The fresh meat is fresh also and pricy as well. But, I tell friends that they usually have something on sale. This is usually the way I shop, unless I have a taste for something particular. The people are really nice and go so far as to load my groceries onto my wheelchair for me. So, if you haven't guessed ... Sometimes ... I go there twice a day. I go to Safeway and compare the high prices. Check it out! Y T

Great addition to the neighborhood. Good food and well stocked grocery store. The hot food was pretty good for a grocery store, also big menu.

Brand new store so it's very clean and organized right now. Produce looked good, but when I tried the bakery items, it tasted stale. Also wish they would provide boxes instead of produce bags so that the breads don't get crushed. I also ordered some food in the back. Prices were good, but the food was maybe below average. I commend the staff there for working so hard because there was a lot of people, but I saw them using a microwave to cook the food which kind of made me lose my appetite. I will be back to shop here again because prices are fair, there's a parking lot, and want to see how the store grows.

Went on first day, store is well stocked with more to come. Full produce, meat and deli. Staff worked hard to get through opening day glitches. No beer yet but nice big refrigerator section designated for beer.

Great selection of fresh produce and meats. Prepared foods, like chicharones, flautas, and tomales very good quality and delicious. The staff are friendly and helpful, and so are the neighborhood customers!

I have only been 3 times, and every time I came here is for the ox tail stew. The first time, I got it, I was really surprised. The taste was great. Stewed perfectly for me. It was not too soft or too tough. It's at the point where the tendon and meat still had a little bite to it, where it wasn't like ... mushy. They filled the soup container with almost half meat. Some tail bone and some just meat without the bone. Then they filled them rest with one of each vegetable. It wasn't too salty, actually on the lighter side which I like. The broth wasn't so thick and gooey, more of a soup where I can actually drink it all. Not sure if I'm supposed to, but I like it. But the next time I went, I got like 3 pieces of meat. I thought it was a fluke, but today I got just 2 pieces of meat and mostly vegetables for $15. 15 is not expensive if it was like the first time I got it, but for 2 pieces of meat.. I would say ehhh. It does come with a small rice and tortillas, so that's a plus. Worst part is like it felt like she was teasing me. She work scoop up a big piece of meat, then dump it back and scoop me a corn. Then scoop up another juicy piece. I was like. .... YES. Then she look at the meat and dump it back and give me a carrot. Ughh. I'm gonna give it one more try . Definitely gonna try and stay away from that server thou. The market does seem clean and well stocked. Staff is friendly. I would give 3.5 stars but no option for that.

I just want to say that this store have really poor management and they need to check who they promote as managers. I went to this location 2 weeks ago with my boyfriend to buy some ingredients to make some homemade food that was one of most uncomfortable things I done in my life first of all because I'm part of the community LGBT+ all male employees were straight just dead staring at me and my boyfriend. They didn't know that I understand Spanish because of that they were referring to me and my boyfriend as lil fags that in Spanish is mariconsitos also and an older man I think was the general manager was acting like we were doing something wrong to him or his store just for being partner with a guy all male employees were just showing homophobic behavior I'm really disappointed on this whole experience REALLY DISAPPOINTED THE FEELING THAT THOSE GUYS AND THE MANAGER GAVE ME WAS REALLY TRAUMATIC I FELT harassment from the employees for the way I talk or walk and even my clothes because I was leaving the gym before go to the store so I was wearing shorts and a lil t-shirt again because they thought that I didn't speak Spanish,between them they were making sexual comments on my body such as (look at the ass so juicy) that is on Spanish Mira ese culo que grande I really felt like so vulnerable we left immediately after all of those things that happened on a single visit I would never go back to This store and also wouldn't never recommend to visit this location. The whole experience was terrible I felt harassed Abused and uncomfortable The general manager was staring at us really bad .

Seems like a great and much needed addition to the neighborhood! The shelves were full of a variety of products. It will be wonderful to be able to walk to get good groceries. We liked that there is a butcher, bakery, lots of good looking produce, and fresh food station. Staff also seemed helpful and friendly. I think we'll be going regularly.

This is the most expensive local Mexican grocery store and will likely be identified as because of diabetes for the neighborhood.

I discovered Mi Rancho supermarket about four months ago, traveling along 3rd Street. Most items is from Mexico, and other Latin American countries. As well as some American groceries. One friend of mine is from the south. I was surprised to see the selection of meats such as, neck bones, and oxtails.

The meat is super fresh!! The variety of stuff they have there is great! The bakery has fresh bread! Definitely will be my new go to store .
