Google
It was a fun experience. The staff were very nice and we were seated immediately. The menu prices are reasonable. They have a fun rose wall where you can take a photo. My other request is that my enchiladas could have been a little hotter and the cheese melted. Other than that it was a fun place.

We have been meaning to try this place out. The interior is beautiful. We were seated right away and our drink orders were taken right after. I had the chevice and my husband had the fajita trio. We shared the Tres Leche cake for dessert. Everything was great. This is a great new addition to Flagstaff! It offers some different menu items than our usual places, so we will definitely be back.

Google
A “modern” Mexican restaurant. A tad on the upscale side. Was greeted and seated pretty quickly, but ordering took a while. The margarita was okay, but i guess that’s why it’s 8 bucks. I was surprised with their American Dinner menu, 4 items on the menu you’d find on a steakhouse menu. I do have to say the water was good here, seems to be filtered. The salsa was too mild for me. The carne asada plate I had was good, but no spiciness what so ever. I guess if you like non spicy food, this is your place. I’ll stick with the other two well established mexican restaurants.

Google
Great new Modern Mexican restaurant at the Flagstaff Mall . It opened just recently in the last couple of months. Great food yummy margaritas in a relaxed, cool modern Mexican style. Great menu that I can't wait to try more items from. Nice break from shopping. Lots of seafood dishes, which the wife loves! We will be back... great service as well. Thank you, Liam, for the great service!

Google
If you’re looking for the best Mexican food in Flagstaff, this is the spot. We’ve tried just about every place in town, and nothing compares. The chips and fresh salsa are unbeatable, the service is always friendly, and the food is consistently incredible. We especially love the enchiladas and chicken fajitas, flavorful, perfectly cooked, and always satisfying. This has become our favorite restaurant in Flagstaff. And as a bonus for parents, it’s located in the mall, so the kids can walk around while you enjoy a little peace and quiet. Highly recommend!

Google
My family and I have dined at Mi Tesoro many times, and the food and service have consistently been outstanding. The portions are generous—which says a lot, especially coming from someone who loves his Mexican food! We’ve also celebrated several special occasions here, and each time, the owner has gone above and beyond to make sure our group had an amazing experience. The owner has always been kind, helpful, and incredibly accommodating. That kind of hospitality means a lot to me!”

Google
Five-Star Experience Thanks to Karen! We had an absolutely fantastic dining experience, and a huge part of that was thanks to our amazing waitress, Karen. From the moment we sat down, she was warm, attentive, and genuinely delightful. She made us feel right at home and brought such a fun and friendly energy to the table that it honestly felt like we were being taken care of by a close friend. One of the best parts? Karen expertly helped us pull off the ultimate move—sneaking the check before our friend could get to it. With a knowing smile and a well-timed nod, she played along perfectly and made it look effortless. It was such a small moment, but it meant a lot and made the whole night even more memorable. And let’s not forget the food—absolutely amazing! Everything was delicious, perfectly prepared, and served hot and fresh. The kitchen clearly knows what they’re doing, and Karen’s recommendations were spot-on. All in all, we left full, happy, and already planning our next visit. Karen, thank you for being such a bright spot in our evening—you’re a true gem!

Yelp
Mi Tesoro knocks it out of the park every time! Our new favorite cocktails are the espresso martini and the Take Me Home! Our kids love the "Gustavo special" from the secret menu Our latest favorite obsessions for food: The burger, chimichanga (enchilada style) and the nachos which are a seriously generous portion. Everything from start to finish is delicious and fantastic. Service is exceptional and we never have to ask for refills, or search for a service. They're always available and happy to be there. The flavors are exactly what you want when you're craving traditional Mexican food. I would eat here every day if I could! Highly recommend! We even send our friends and our Airbnb guests here as well because we love it so much and know they'll have a great experince. Take our word for it - 10/10 all around!

Yelp
This was an awesome surprise! Our party of 4 each ordered something different and we were all extremely happy with our choices. The portions were large, and tasted homemade. We were full, but couldn't resist sharing an order of Sopapillas, which were delicious. The staff was friendly, and courteous. They treated us like they were happy to see us. Amazing place and next time we are in the area will definitely stop here again.

Yelp
Let's start with the basics. The location is easy to find, with ample parking and a large, well-designed sign. The host table is located up front, but there's enough space to avoid feeling cramped. The decor is simple and modern, with tasteful touches of Latino culture throughout. Every employee greeted us with a smile and made us feel welcome. We sat in a cozy booth, though next time, we'll opt for the bar, which looked especially inviting. We tried the house margarita, which was perfectly balanced--not too acidic and with just the right amount of tequila. For our appetizer, we had the guacamole and chips, which were delicious, especially with the spicy pepper spears on the side. For the main course, we ordered the Gobernador tacos and the chicharrón de ribeye. Everything was flavorful, from the seasoning to the fresh grilled vegetables. The rice was decent, but the beans were a highlight and made up for the rice's shortcomings. The chicharrón was tasty, though it could have been warmer. The tortillas were excellent. Next time, we'll sit at the bar, try a different margarita, and explore more appetizers. The menu is straightforward and unpretentious, which enhances the overall experience. We'll definitely make room for dessert next time. We also love the creative use of mall space. The only thing keeping us from giving a full five stars is the pricing, which feels a bit on the high side for what you get!

Yelp
Definitely a treasure! Wonderful service, always with a smile. Food was very good, salsas are delicious, a flavor for everyone from mild to exceptional! Beautiful music and artwork made for a very pleasant atmosphere.

Yelp
Everything I've had here is so good. The staff is awesome the place is beautiful, the burger is one of the top 3 in flagstaff. Quickly becoming a top choice to eat at in flagstaff. The mall location is nice. Stop by try it out you won't regret it!

Yelp
Of course I had to try out the new Mexican restaurant at the mall. Family-owned. Love the music! I always say, if the beans and rice don't taste good, they can't cook. The beans and rice here is delicious! I ordered the carne asada tacos and the papa's taquitos. There are two salsas, mild and hot. The hot salsa is the best. Loving all things lemon, I had to try the limoncello margarita martini-style. I don't like ice in my cocktails. Everything was delicious. I will return to try the rib-eye chicharrones.

Kenneth B.

Yelp
Yes, it's in the mall in east Flag.. But, the place has a great low key vibe. Food is excellent. Drinks are very tasty. The customer service from the bartender and staff is excellent. It is worth the trip. Give this place some love.

Yelp
What an awesome restaurant addition to East Flagstaff! The ambiance is beautiful and clean, waitstaff was attentive and provided excellent service! Now to the great part; the chips and salsa were fresh! The corn tortillas are on the lighter side. Even the water was classy. My husband got the steak quesadilla and said the meat was very flavorful! I got the bear battered shrimp tacos and the portion was huge, my hubs had to share. The shrimp tastes fresh and again really good quality corn tortillas! And lastly the beans & rice taste traditional with the queso cotija! Will definitely be back to try more!

Yelp
Nice actual restaurant in the mall Great food, classic margaritas and great service from Alma! A bit overpriced, but that's the way it is these days. Happy hr saved us $2 per margarita We'll be back!

Yelp
The food arrived cold. My steak was barely warm, and my son said his tacos were dry and stale. The Sonoran hotdog bun was hard. The tomatoes and mayo were placed underneath the hotdog, while the onions were layered on top. Unfortunately, this combination did not make up for the hard buns. The waiter refilled my Dr Pepper over the melted ice water and what little ice remained in the cup, which watered down my soda. However, the ice-cold water was quite refreshing.

Yelp
Amazing atmosphere, food and drinks! Favorite drink...the Cabo! Favorite appetizers...Camarones Botaneros (seriously so freaking good!!!) Favorite meal (currently )...love the Aguachile Ribeye and the Birria tacos! Can't wait to try more. Every other Friday mariachi band is fun too! Great place for small and large groups, and great with kids of all ages!

Jen S.

Yelp
Our party got the Birria Tacos, Fajitas, and the Carnitas plate. Everything was wonderful including the chips and salsa. Staff were attentive and we had no complaints. We will be back!

Yelp
First time at MiTesoro Used to come to the same location when it was a breakfast restaurant. First impressions are favorable as the decor is mid-upscale My group enjoyed the Amargo Tequilas and ordered fajitas to share. The Amargo Tequilas are not inexpensive but worth it. The fajitas are a "trio" with strips of beef, chicken, and shrimp. They will serve w corn and flour tortillas if you ask the server. Great kitchen as the rice, guacamole, beans all delicious sides to the fajitas. Birthday celebrations look like fun. Best of all our server Jas was kind and patient to walk us through the menu

Yelp
We had a rather stingy margarita (mostly ice), fajitas, and the requisite chips and salsa. The entire meal was underwhelming and pricey. While the fajitas were indeed delivered in a cast iron skillet as expected, there was no caramelization and everything was swimming in a sea of weird sauce. Worst if all, the chicken and steak were chewy and rather bland.

Yelp
Everything was good. The alcoholic drinks were not skimpy. The chips could have been a little better, I like rustic homemade chips. The only drawback back is taking a family and dropping $200 plus tip: 4 meals, 1 kids meal. I think it is more for date night or friends getting together and each person paying for themselves. I will go back for margaritas and appetizers. Wonder if they have happy hour.

Joe L.

Yelp
Finally Good Aguachile in Flagstaff!! Ribeye was delicious! Nice place for cocktails!

Kelsey R.

Yelp
Food was amazing! Service was a little weird because it was early and dead. Felt like the music could have been louder to not make it feel like that. Regardless, we will be back!

Yelp
The food was great but the service was a little rough. Probably juts because theyre new. Will definitely return and update my review from 4 to 5 if service is better next time.

Kasie H.

Yelp
Just went for my husband's birthday happy hour. Classic margaritas were good, Old Fashioned's were good, food was good. Service was fantastic. We always appreciate a place with good service. Can't wait to go back.

Yathin K.

Yelp
Nice place to chill with family but you might have to get your own food as the service was almost over an hour late after we ordered. The service was slow and the waiter kept delaying the service. Decided to go here for a birthday but made the mistake of going on the day as it was ruined. The food was tasty but was either cold or spicy.I liked their new sides of cold butter bread with the pasta. Had the right amount of butter and was cold enough that I could chew it more. 2 stars only for the ambience and the taste of a couple items we ordered

Jonathan J.

Yelp
Came in for my mom's birthday dinner, we have been waiting for an hour, still haven't received our appetizer. They slack on refilling the chip basket, we sat here with 2 baskets empty with them just walking by not doing anything about it. When we did finally get our food about 80 minutes later, it was cold, nothing about it was warm. Not only my food was cold but so was my family's food. Only get 1 star because it is really beautiful place.

Agi D.

Yelp
First visit had ribeye for lunch. SO delicious! I brought my husband and had dinner. We both had the ribeye for dinner and it was fantastic again! We also ordered the peppers wrapped in bacon filled with cream cheese and shrimp. We also ordered the guacamole. All was DELICIOUS. It's nice to have an upscale Latin restaurant in town. I will go back many times. Love it. The owner is a charming woman and I support women in business. Fantastic service and food. Many thanks.

Leslie M.

Yelp
Had the opportunity to try this new restaurant the other night and it was fantastic. Love the unique options they have on the menu! Will definitely be back and certainly want to try the breakfast or brunch sometime on the weekend!

Wendell G.

Yelp
I had a taco plate of three different types of meats with rice and beans. The tortillas were fantastic. The meats were delicious and the service is wonderful. Very nice inside.

Cece B.

Yelp
Slow customer service. Drinks were empty most of the time. Food was pricey! Food wasn't spicy and taste mainly like lime. EVRYTHING tasted like lime. More of an American Mexican twist. Ordered fajitas and it was red and chewy. Menu states it's grilled, more like steamed and had glaze on top.

Yelp
A great place for really picky kids or, maybe, visiting relatives from, say, Omaha or St, Louis or Kansas City who think 'spice' is salt and/or black, pre-ground pepper. You know, people who have never tasted cilantro and think peppers are always green and who like the major component of guacamole to be mayonnaise. Mid-west 'Mexican' food! Perfect! The salsa is crushed tomatoes. No cilantro, no heat at all. Your friends from Iowa will love it! The beans are creamy and out of a fifty gallon drum and are a bland as Lawrence Welk. Your friends from Illinois will love it! The rice is just the right tint of red! But your friends from Louisiana may just stare at it. The tacos? Wow! Indiana relatives will not be offended! No spice, no flavor. They will woof it down! Like a plate of Indianapolis mashed potatoes! 42 bucks for two beers (good beer, not Miller Lite) and three minor tacos, some cool, runny beans and tasteless rice. But if your friends are from the Southwest (or Mexico!) ... well, bring your own cilantro and peppers ... Nice atmosphere. Upscale. A place like this in Peoria would be packed!

Gladys V.

Yelp
almost didn't go here because the reviews didn't seem great in regards to service. they have only been open for 3 months! the food is amazing and the service was great even though they had a full house. Flagstaff needed a restaurant like this. we ordered the molcajete, guac, toritos and orchata. ambiance was great and music was perfect!
