Mia

"Mia offers modern European cuisine with Asian influences in a contemporary two-storey house. Downstairs is a chic bar; upstairs offers three distinct dining rooms: one decked out in colourful William Morris wallpaper, one accented with bursts of tropical plants and flowers, and one dark and intimate. The seasonal ‘Taste of Mia’ menu shows off dishes with complex, well-balanced flavours and is served in 5 or 8 courses, with vegan and vegetarian options available." - Michelin Inspector

A Memorable Anniversary Celebration MIA is a shining gem in Bangkok’s fine dining scene, helmed by two young, very talented, and rising chefs, Michelle and Top. Their passion and precision are evident in every detail. We had a wonderful dinner at MIA celebrating our wedding anniversary just days before Christmas. The team went above and beyond to make the evening special, surprising us with a beautifully crafted chocolate mousse cake and an adorable pair of gingerbread man pastries. These thoughtful touches made the celebration even more meaningful. Each dish delighted us, not only visually but also in taste. We were impressed by the chefs’ creativity and refined food aesthetics, all while ensuring the flavours remained balanced, elegant, and genuinely delicious. Every course reflected confidence, technique, and a clear culinary vision. We sincerely hope Michelle and Top continue to create fearlessly, chase their aspirations, and push boundaries. A truly memorable dining experience and one we will cherish. We also won a little token by guessing the name of their 5th cat 🐈. Mr and Mrs Lim Wei Chong (Just a normal couple, not food critics)

truly memorable dining experience at this 1-Michelin-Star restaurant. The highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the signature blue crab dish from MIA—beautifully executed, refined, and full of depth. Every bite showcased balance, freshness, and precision. The famous sourdoughs bread service, with unlimited refills, was exceptional—warm, comforting, and perfectly paired with the meal. The service team was outstanding: attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming throughout the evening. What made the experience even more special was that the chef personally came to the table, served the dish, and thoughtfully explained how to enjoy it. Following the chef’s recommendation to pair it with sake elevated the flavors even further—it truly opened up the palate and enhanced the entire experience. An inspiring meal that reflects passion, craftsmanship, and heartfelt hospitality. Highest compliments to the team—well deserved recognition. 🌟

Recommend: YES. Parking wouldn't be an issue. This is a great place to bring family and friends. Now onwards to the experience: It's easy to understand why they have a Michelin star. The dishes were great, the hospitality? Amazing. A super special thanks to Vanessa and Dorothy for making the experience special. Khoob-khun maak maak ka, Vanessa. She made sure we were extremely comfortable. From the ambient temperature to the water and even giving us a menu for a souvenir was sweet. And finding out the tea brand they used because I found it tasty. Topnotch. They had one of the funnest washroom concepts. I won't spoil it. Experience it yourself. The food: We had the 8-course menu. For mains I had the lobster, my husband had the Guinea Fowl. And a consomme as a palette cleanser? BRILLIANT. We usually get served granitas or a sorbet. The sourdough brioche? Lovely. It was light, fluffy, textural, and had several dimensions of sweetness and salt. The clam chawanmushi was delicate while packing a punch in terms of flavor. I also enjoyed the textural components coming from the clams. This place reminded me that food can be FUN while being elegant. I smiled a lot. Mia's cereal bowl is something I'm already craving. The short of it: Thank you Mia for a lovely anniversary dinner. We look forward to dining here again.

We visited MIA for my girlfriend’s birthday dinner and we had a great time. The food was exceptional, and the service was fantastic throughout the whole evening. Very nice vegan set, especially the starters and desserts. Nice ambiance and original restaurant design. Highly recommended and we will definitely be back.

Chose Mia for a quiet yet luxurious dinner, and it was truly delivered. The ambiance was serene, perfect for a celebration. The vegetarian menu was thoughtfully curated, blending contemporary flavors with nostalgic touches that brought back fond memories. I especially enjoyed the artichoke and beetroot dishes — each bite was rich in texture and taste. The desserts were beautifully crafted, offering a perfect, indulgent finish to the meal. The service was attentive, adding to the overall exceptional experience. Mia is a must-visit for anyone seeking refined cuisine in an elegant setting.

An outstanding restaurant! Every dish is creative and full of layers of flavor. My favorite was the sea bass — the tender meat paired with curry was absolutely amazing. The main course was a bit too salty for my taste, but the bread and desserts were truly impressive and delicious — the best bread I’ve had in Thailand. I’ll definitely come back again for my birthday next year. Thank you for the warm hospitality!

Always impressed by the flavor at Mia. I first came here a year back and was really impressed. Large part of the menu has changed since but still a wonderful meal. Stuffed Pigeon for me was the highlight of today’s course. Sourdough Brioche is as good as I remember it to be from the last visit. Highly recommend

I was very satisfied with the delicious food and the calm yet pleasant atmosphere. I was surprised by the warm hospitality of all the staff and the thoughtful explanation of the dishes from the two main chefs. I’ve been to several Michelin-starred restaurants before, but I never felt such genuine sincerity. In particular, I truly appreciated the care and attention from the server who took care of us. At first, I couldn't remember her name — she was a beautiful lady with long braids who spoke Korean — but later I found out her name was Emma, just like my English name. What a lovely coincidence! Thanks to her, this meal will remain in my memory for a long time. And a heartfelt thank-you to the chef who cheerfully shouted “Happy 3rd Anniversary!” as we were leaving — such a fun and touching surprise. The food was fantastic (I could have eaten ten plates of the grape cold starter alone!), but what really made this evening unforgettable was the warmth of the people. Thank you again.
