Mia Cafe & Wine Bar - Review - Kirkland - Seattle - The Infatuation

"This Kirkland cafe and wine bar is open from 8am-8pm—and the menu runs the all-day gamut. Here you’ll find things like huevos rancheros, French toast, clam chowder, and club sandwiches. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Kayla Sager-Riley

Probably, top 3 breakfast we had in the area. Fresh, not oily, clean and welcoming staff. We had the meat lover omlette with cob salad, and it was awesome! Clean plates at the end ☝️ The place is pretty new, opened 6 months ago, with live music on the weekends, now we will have to come back for dinner for sure. And the chocolate mouse is to die for.

We had a decent brunch at this place. We liked their coffee. The espresso was great. And I loved their dessert. Loved the location as it’s right across the Juanita beach.

Great food, great service, great aesthetic! We tried the meat lovers omelette and the country chicken fried steak and both were delicious!! We finished our meal with sharing tiramisu with our coffee that was also very good.

You ever wake up and just know you need brunch? Not want—need. That was me this morning, and thankfully, I ended up in the right place. From the first bite, it was clear this spot understands brunch on a spiritual level. TL;DR: I woke up with a brunch tooth, and this place hit the spot in every possible way. IYKYK. I'll definitely be back.

Got the Salmon Toast & a flight of mixed wines. The Salmon Toast was amazing, I definitely recommend ordering it if you are undecided or want something lighter but not a salad. The flight of wines is a great price, 5 of your choice for $25! I tried wines I normally wouldn’t have, and it was a great experience. Lots of dogs out on the patio as well, they even provided a container for water for the dogs (:

Good food and quality but dining experience as a whole needs to improve for this price point. $18 Avocado toast with no egg and $5 coffee is fine as long as it is perfect. Avocado Toast was good but but not nearly filling enough and I've had better at other places. Service could be quicker. Not the best hash browns in my honest opinion. Since the restaurant is new, this is understandable and I like supporting local places. I hope they continue to improve.

If you're looking for a delightful dining experience, Mia Wine Bar is an absolute must-visit! From the moment you walk in, the ambiance is inviting, and the menu is full of surprises that keep things exciting. It tastes like most items are made from scratch and they use Macrina bread! Let’s start with the drinks—Mia’s passion fruit mimosa is a refreshing twist on the classic, offering a tropical burst of flavor. I saw something called "Chicken Doughnuts" and knew that I needed to try them. The combination of crispy, golden-battered chicken with a playful doughnut twist is nothing short of genius. Paired with a vibrant, fresh salad featuring fresh shredded lettuce, juicy strawberries, oranges, and parmesan, all dressed in a tangy strawberry vinaigrette, it was a symphony of flavors and textures. The balance was impeccable. Since I was full from my entrée used as an appetizer, I opted for the kids menu. What? More fried chicken? Yep. The chicken strips were a hit—battered in-house with just the right amount of seasoning and perfectly crispy. The ranch dipping sauce was creamy and had a nice, tangy kick that paired beautifully with the strips. My friend went with a modified white omelet and devoured the whole dish in no time. The flavors were spot on, and it’s clear that the kitchen knows how to do brunch right. Overall, Mia Wine Bar is a gem. The food is unique, flavorful, and presented with care. If you're in the area, don’t miss out on a visit. They have live music on the weekends!

Yelp
Came here for breakfast at 9am and there was only three or four people here. It's so nice to find a breakfast place that you don't have to wait hours for. Parking lot is spacious. The vibe is calming and modern. Food is delicious! The hash browns were nice and crispy! Would love to come back in the evening sometime!

Yelp
Cool place to visit and enjoy wine Bottle, glass pour and flights available. Several local wineries represented. Food is available as it shares space with a restaurant. Highly recommended trying this place.

Yelp
Mia is a new cafe and wine bar that just opened in Juanita. There is plenty of parking and it is easy to find. The space is clean and well laid out. They have live music every Friday and Saturday nights. Right now they just have a lite bites menu for food, until their chef starts in a week. Until then you can also order from the Mexican restaurant next door, and they will bring it to you. Music this night was very good, the crowd was singing along. They have a nice selection of local wines to choose from. If you want beer, they can get that from the restaurant as well. They also have a Sunday brunch from 10-2, with an amazing menu! Service was great, Alex, the manager is friendly and draws in the customers. This will be a place we frequent. Can't wait for summer. This is going to be the next hot spot in Kirkland! Well done Alex and team. Check it out, you won't regret it!

Yelp
This is a new casual breakfast/brunch place in Juanita. The service is very friendly and welcoming. The menu is more along the traditional lines but is executed pretty well. I only wish they had invested in an espresso machine, for proper espresso-based drinks. Will be back to try more of the menu (those blinis on the neighboring table looked delicious...)

Yelp
They tried, but fell short in several ways. While we were seated promptly the good service stopped there. Had to ask for water, refills, and remind them of our order. Portions were smaller than other nearby brunch options and the coffee bitter. They forgot about my omlette modifications. Maybe it was a rough morning but service was lacking and food was mediocre at best.

Yelp
Very cute, clean cafe with laid back music playing. Service was friendly. Hubby got Rocio's Breakfast-eggs, bacon, sausage, hashbrowns & pancakes. I had Mia's Cinnamon French Toast. While the food was of good quality, both hubby & I agreed that both of our breakfasts could have been hotter temperature-wise. If they can fix that one thing, I think this would be a great option for breakfast in the Juanita neighborhood.

Yelp
Neighborhood breakfast spot Juanita needed! Wonderful food selection for the whole family. Macrina bakery items, espresso, kids menu, mimosas and more! The space is beautiful and walking distance to the Juanita Beach Park. Food and service was amazing.

Yelp
Went for wine in the evening. Very clean, and pretty space. The service was awesome. Our server was very friendly, and checked in with us regularly. Had the stuffed mushrooms, which were good...a bit on the pricey side though. The wine selection was ok. They shared they are still figuring out their menu choices, so hopefully they can get some better Washington wines in there. Overall, great experience and so happy to have something like this in the neighborhood. Definitely will be back.

Yelp
Very attentive service at this cute and nicely renovated space. We enjoyed a nice family brunch here. The food was tasty, the service was fast, and this is a welcome addition to the Juanita area restaurant scene.

Yelp
Went for brunch: food was good, including hash browns, which I usually don't care for. Omelet (s) very good, service (Rey) good, not hovering, but prompt. Wine list is heavily local: good to see. A little pricey, but it's Kirkland. We'll go again

Yelp
15$ for a very bitter, low end glass of wine. Clams were decent but the little broth it came with was extremely, extemely salty. The service was non existent, but they're probably just getting things situated, so I'm not mad at that. But no excuse for their wine choices and prices, nor dumping gobs of salt in broth.

Yelp
Food wasn't as good as I expected it to be. Read a lot of comments/reviews when they opened. The hollandaise sauce was gross, hash brown was not cooked properly and no seasoning from what I could tell. The country fried steak sauce was so thin. The server was great and attentive.

Yelp
We are excited for a new brunch option in town. The service was tentative and kind. The food was also great, we both ordered casual breakfast dishes. Fresh and fast. I enjoyed my smoothie as well. For $42 before tip, good price for a nice meal for two. They had a large menu. They also turn into a wine bar with music and appetizers in the evening. Looks like a good spot and we will return.
