Mia’s was a treat. There were plenty of vegan and GF options in addition to the non veg offerings. We sat on the covered patio in the back as the main dining room was very cold. Camila, our server, was very attentive and provided excellent service. The food was outstanding, and we especially enjoyed the lotus root fritters. They were so good I had to ask to make sure they were vegan/gf! Treat yourself to this family owned and run delight in Ithaca.

Mia was busy and seated is at the bar and then opened up a table before we ordered just for us. Very helpful. Offered in shifts to see if we were still hungry and had great Chans clams and the rest was good.

I went to Mia for dinner with my boyfriend while visiting Ithaca for the weekend, and we were totally blown away! We sat at the bar since the dining area was completely full, and Will the bartender took great care of us. We tried the pork belly bao buns with tamarind sauce (they were perfect), clams with Thai basil and a sweet and spicy sauce that we mopped up with fresh baked naan, and also got the roast duck with Chinese 5 spice Demi glacé. All were wonderful and unique and cooked to perfection. We each enjoyed a cocktail with dinner that were expertly crafted, and enjoyed an after dinner beverage with the most delicious crème brûlée flavored with Thai iced coffee. We agreed it was some of the best food we have ever had, and the service was excellent. Our only regret was that we didn’t try more. We will be back on our next visit!

We had a great experience here. The service was exceptional and the food was delicious. My fiancé has severe food allergies, and we felt completely comfortable eating here. The first thing our waitress asked was if anyone had any allergies or dietary restrictions. She was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and what he could eat safely. Everything we tried was great. We recommend the sweet potato fries and the roast duck! The cocktails were just okay, but we didn’t mind because everything else was so yummy and the staff was so attentive, competent, and kind.

"While I generally expect a certain level of service when a 20% gratuity is included by default, my experience with our server, Will K, was beyond disappointing." The above comment is not just a copy/paste from someone on this review about 3 month ago. It really happened to me today. I can't believe he is still there without changing his bad attitude to the coutomer. I was very offended when I ordered. He is the worst server that I had and insulted me in front of my kids. After the order, I asked to the manager to change the server. The lady(manager) was very nice and apologized to me. She served the foods instead of the rude guy, and she was great. The foods was very great (especially fried duck) and I want to come again, but I am really afraid to see that rude guy again. It was my family's special night, but he ruined my memory. I didn't describe how he did to me and my family, but I am more than happy to discuss with someone in responsible this restaurant.

Great food and service! I was trying to find a new spot to try out and wow, I’m glad I tumbled into this place. Not sure what the other review meant about racism, I didn’t feel like they were racist at all, everyone I talked to was super kind and helpful even though they were very busy. I asked if I could reserve a table next time, but they told me they only take reservations for parties of 7 or more or during graduation. I understand why though, every place is fully packed during graduation. Anyhoooo, will definitely be coming back more often now. I think I found my new favorite spot in Ithaca.

My wife - who is celiac- and I really enjoyed our meal here. We ate outside on an early Friday evening on the small patio which is part of the Ithaca Commons pedestrian street. By the time we left, the restaurant was full inside and out. However, our service was quick and attentive. We too were asked about allergies when we arrived and my wife found that there were quite a few gluten-free choices. Moreover, the server was able to warn about a couple of items that were fried in a shared frier. In any case we had a delicious meal. We ordered two tapas and one entree to split between us and this was quite filling. All three came with plentiful sauces so we ordered two sides of jasmine rice to soak up the yummy sauces. The chicken satay with peanut sauce was enjoyable but not out of this world. The Prawns in southern Indian Kerala curry w/ Japanese eggplant was a significant step up and was served again with a plentiful and delicious sauce that was slightly spicey. However, the best was yet to come! The entree Karee Gai - Thai yellow chicken curry with potatoes was really, really good. This kind of curry is typically served with cubed chicken but not here. Instead, it was a large moist chicken breast that sat in a sauce that had a lot of layers of taste to it. We wanted to gobble it but ate it slowly to get every nuance out of it. We highly recommend trying this place!

The vibe of this place feels very refined, I suspect that should come from the description itself, and the servers are top-notch in their hospitality. Furthermore, the food is very well prepared but slightly a bit too sweet. I loved my time there and would definitely go again. Definitely try the lotus root fritters and southern Indian style prawns. They are done really well.
