Miam Miam

Perfect lunch for us. We have found this restaurant from the Michelin Guide, and it really belongs to the list. We had 2 tasting menus and 2 cocktails, with the service charge we paid around 700 reales. Tasting menu is a five course menu, and is a whole experience. 10/10, perfect. Just a note : it is really hard to find the location of the restaurant, if the owners could set up a sign or even a small flag on the side of the building, it would be perfect.

We got the tasting menu and it did not disappoint. The tomato to salad was a delightful twist on a caprese. The salmon dish was playfully sweet and light, the steak and fritz was amazing. Very great staff and good vibes. I highly recommend popping in here. Such a nice break from the typical Brazilian cuisine

Cool cozy little restaurant with nice drinks and food. Really friendly staff and relaxed ambient. Definitely worth a visit. Reasonable price for what you get.

All single dishes of the vegetarian 5 course menu I ordered were delicious. Unfortunately the portions were not lavishly served, but in that case the taste was more important. The reason I visited this restaurant was, that it is mentioned in the Guide Michelin. The food was served quickly and the staff was friendly, but could not speak English well.

Great restaurant in Botafogo. Had two types of fish. The hidden fish and the salmon special. Both delicious. Our waitress was fantastic. Will definitely visit again when I am in Rio. Highly recommended.

Eclectic place is the right word. Truly exceptional Maitre d' John made our visit memorable. Thank you. We did the tasting menu with wine pairing. The first two courses an unusual nutty salad and the crispy eggplant with a miso drizzle were very good. The cod was cassarolish - not to my taste. Pasta, pork rice and banana banofee were ok. Wine pairing was very good.

Lovely, unassuming restaurant serving unique takes on Brazilian classics. Super cute for date night and they have a reasonably priced tasting menu. Plus they’ve been Michelin starred many times. Highly recommend

Had a fantastic dinner while visiting my city Rio de Janeiro. I have been living outside Brazil from many years and every time I am visiting I always look for renowned restaurants. Great service, delicious food, small but average wine and beer list. The food is a chapter apart simply delicious. Can't wait to return!

I visited this restaurant on a Saturday night with a friend (who is a native of Rio). It was pretty crowded so we were given the option to sit outside of the restaurant at little side tables until a table opened up. This restaurant is tourist friendly as they have a menu in English for those who cannot read Portuguese. Our waiter came and took our drink orders. We asked about the special that night and the price. The waiter did not know so he left to ask. He eventually returned with our drinks and still did not know the about the special. Fast forward fifteen minutes and finally returns with the details. We ordered the special, rabbit with a savory sauce topped with mashed potatoes, and heart of palm spaghetti with shrimp. A table opened up inside so we were seated inside by the manager (whom happened to speak English). The decor of the restaurant is similar to the hipster style of the United States. The ambiance is relaxed. But maybe a little too relaxed as it took an additional hour for our food to arrive. We had finished our first drinks and ordered another round since the food was taking so long. There was no shortage of waiters so I assume there was an issue in the kitchen. The traditional caipirinha was strong but tasty, and one of the house mixed wine and fruit drinks was very good. Finally our food arrives, and it looks wonderful. Both meals tasted delicious with well portioned sizes. The food was delicious enough for us to forgive most of the slow slow service. Overall, we had a good experience and will come back despite the bad service. I definitely recommend this place to taste some of the finer Brazilian cuisine, but be prepared to spend at least 2+ hours there.

Great ambiance with funky decorations and an intimate-feeling space. We arrived at around 8pm on a Friday without reservations and only had to wait 10 minutes or so for a table. The service was great - fast, friendly, and responsive - and they had an English version of the menu, which allowed us to give Google Translate a rest for the evening. We weren't blown away by the drinks, but really enjoyed the food - we had croquettes to start, which I followed with a dish of duck prepared two ways (croquettes and in a filet, I think?), which was served with a wonderful fruity sauce, plus a fruit-and-grain side. Prices were extremely reasonable for the quality of the food and the service. I'm glad we found this little gem of a restaurant, and would recommend it for a tasty and inventive meal.

Perfect service, great location. Easy for vegan/vegetarians and meat eaters alike. They had menus in multiple languages and, when I asked about Vegetarian options, gave me an entire menu of vegan options to my surprise (and delight). The food was great with lots of options for everyone. Plus they had a small but decent beer selection. Worth your time and money! Plus the building is cute.

Absolutely loved this restaurant; the service was top notch, the ambiance was so homely and packed with locals. The food was exceptional; makes sense that they got a Bib Gourmand from Michelin. I would highly suggest making a reservation in advance. As per the food, we decided to go with the tasting menu (Menu Degustacao); the food was highly creative and greatly executed. The ingredients were fresh and the portions were perfect. Highly recommend it.

Excellent option to discover several Brazilian dishes at a reasonable price. The tasting menu (r$120) comes with 1 starter, 4 entrees, and 1 dessert. The waiting time before getting a table was very long on that Friday night (1h+), but the staff was nice and mindful, and we could already order drinks and apetizers while waiting. The food was really excellent. The restaurant is small and cute
