The place is amazing But; they only sells a terrible beer; that’s gonna give you a bad hangover; you should be able to choose your beer… at least one domestic option! they call La Tropical and Tropi Crystal. Concert day is day with no quality alcohol over there. Just enjoy the music and vibes.

We saw Christone Kingfish Ingram playing and it was one heck of a show. This is an awesome venue, very intimate with some seating and lots of floor for dancing, food and beverage vendors. Every seat or floor space is a perfect location. It's right across from a paid parking lot that is reasonable right in the heart of Miami Beach. Well worth the trip.

Fun venue! The sound system is on point where it sounds clear, and not distorted. Try and come out here for your favorite bands.. you won’t be disappointed

Nice place for events in the heart ❤️ of Miami. We were there for Dance African Miami, 💃 🎶 it was a beautiful experience

The place is really cool. We love the ambience. We have been here many times and it's always the same, one of the best places for concerts. Service is wonderful, this time our server was Janet, she was attentive, polite and always with a great attitude. The parking is across the street.

Google
What a great community venue. It would have been nice if they had more chairs, but other than that, it was great. The opening act was the star of the show.

The venue was awesome. We went to see Collie Buddz AND Lila Ike. Lila was a no-show, and NO explanation was ever given to us! There was another band who sang a monkey song and threw blown up monkeys in the crowd. They are from Australia, I believe, so they may not be aware that blacks in America may have found the whole monkey performance to be offensive. The white people seemed to love it, though. There was absolutely no acknowledgment, at any time I was there, that Lila wouldn't be performing. I think this was very disrespectful to the patrons. It's not right to take people's money and not live up to expectation, and say nothing, give no explanation or no apology.

Excellent venue a d great performance! The sound was great and we could see the performance very well. Awesome time with the family

Yelp
Came here recently for a Steel Pulse concert & had the most amazing time. Entry was smooth, venue nice, plenty of seating, & amenities. The surrounding area has nice views, restaurants, & things to do. Everyone I met here was so nice, & upset that we all just found out about this place in 2024

Yelp
I attended the Jon Secada concert here just last night. I paid approximately $330 for two tickets to sit upfront. The venue was nice, we had never been there before and the staff were also nice. The problem came when we were taken to our seats by the usher. There were people sitting in our seats. The usher didn't want to tell them to move and made us sit in other seats (slightly better ones) which then worried me because I stayed wondering if the people who bought those seats would show up. I also saw other people being moved out of seats that weren't theirs and wondered how many other people were seat jumping. If you're going to charge money for seats, you need to make sure people are sitting where they are supposed to sit. It's non negotiable. I won't be coming back to this venue.

Yelp
I went there to see one of my absolute favorite artists Tove Lo. The place was impeccable from the outside to the inside. The closeness to the artist. The atmosphere, how everyone treats you, the drinks and food (they had deals!) My favorite thing about the show was how everyone just felt comfortable and close to Tove Lo. The place allowed smoking inside since it's open, so they allowed your (legal) weed to come in and you could just light it up during the show! Everyone was friendly and brought a little piece with them, so nobody cared for the smell. She's such a great artist and Bandshell only made it more special.

Yelp
I finally made to a concert here and I absolutely loved it! It really is an experience like no other and I am excited for any future concerts I attend. The staff were all super nice and I loved the venue. The acoustics were great! You have a couple of food and drink options, all reasonably priced. I wish there were more bathrooms on the premises as it can get a bit crazy with loads of people but nonetheless a lovely place! I love that it's right next to the beach so even on a hot evening you get a nice breeze. Do yourself a favor and come check out a show or event here!

Yelp
Awesome concert venue. Very intimate. Would definitely be a great place to hold a medium sized wedding or gathering. Such beautiful scenery around the Miami beach area.

Yelp
A great place to catch a show. An icon of the NoBe neighborhood in Miami Beach. Designed by renowned architecture back in 1961 at a time when the arts were played a vital role at the transitioning communities into multicultural neighborhoods. Its unequivocally modern designed of the time feature an open space along our shore and around the corner from Ocean Terrace. A few feet from the beach path and off Collin's Ave. Plenty of municipal parking. Each venue has a different price. The staff super nice and helpful. Lots of security. Check out the website for upcoming shows.

Yelp
Do you remember what a bandshell is? Well Miami Beach of course decided to make theirs an upscale one where you do not need to bring a chair, drinks, or anything for that matter, because they will provide it, as it stated in the venue website . Sounded good to me but The reality : - No chair or bench where to sit , and on the top of that the concert started 1 hour late, so by the time it started we were already tired. - the line for the drinks was about 25 minutes. - a mojito cost $20 + tip (at a concert with 30 dollar tickets), but the best part was that I did not drink it because it was just a super sweet limonada. It should be a great venue for small format concert but definitely they have to redefine his concept . The sound was just ok. I would give 2 stars but Cimafunk really put on a magnificent concert so I am feeling generous.

Yelp
Really enjoyed the atmosphere and show - a cool, candlelit night in late November. Amazing variety of shows here; truly something for everyone. A casual, cozy environment with a warm, welcoming, and helpful staff. Plenty of restaurants in the area, so come early and grab a pre-show bite. And - honestly - every seat in the house is perfectly fine.

Yelp
I seem to remember the North Beach Bandshell being showcased in Ja Rule's "Always on Time", from the scene where Ja is throwing a concert there..but anywho. I tend to frequent this part of Miami Beach more often, with the Full Moon party and my favorite Mexican restaurant, thus I was at the actual Bandshell most recently for the Summer Solstice festival. Instead of druidy stuff, I was among a handful of partiers jamming out to DJ Worakls, an up and coming French EDM DJ. Open air acoustics were pretty good and I definitely jammed out. I mentioned to the promoters that a show the actual moon night would be that much cooler. Four years back, I also attended a World Cup watch party here where the game was shown on a projection screen. The stage has classic mimo architecture, and there are both benches as well as an open floor area for dancing. The public bathrooms are functionally clean. While they don't have a restaurant on premise, there are plenty of eateries (as noted) in walking distance and occasionally food trucks as well. There's a city parking lot about a block away.

Yelp
Went to North Shore Bandshell on a Thursday to see Kurt Vile And The Violators perform. They had a pizza station set up along with two small bars, just had a beer during the show. Quality North Shore Bandshell is definitely a very unique venue. Located just a few feet from the beach and right off Collins it is a cool spot for a concert. It is an open bowl format with some seating and a small stage. During the event they had several tables of food and drinks set up, but everything was extremely reasonably priced. Normally it holds smaller free concerts of local bands, but on this occasion they hosted a more established artist. Quantity North Shore Bandshell is definitely a mid-sized venue, which was perfect for this concert. It was a bit less than half filled and that gave plenty of space and seating for everyone. Value They host a lot of free events, but for Kurt Vile it was a decent priced concert. What was impressive however was the cheap drink and food prices. For a concert that is incredible. Ambiance North Shore Bandshell is a mid-size concert venue located in North Beach. On a beautiful evening it would be hard to imagine a better place to see a concert. It is shaped like a circle with a large white wall that surrounds the space. There is a small raised stage and metal bleachers set up towards the middle of the circle. This allows for a standing area near the stage, while not really blocking the view for those seated. Overhead they have Christmas lights strung to provide dimmed lighting. The stage has some basic stage lighting, but it got the job done. The acoustics were pretty solid considering the setup and you can feel the bass from outside. However, the best element is that you can smell the ocean and enjoy the ocean breeze inside. Crowd It was an older crowd, but everyone there was having a good time. There were families and definitely a good deal of people who had never heard of Kurt Vile before. It really is just a great place to see a live concert and enjoy a beautiful evening. It is intimate, but still large enough to prevent feeling claustrophobic. Service They definitely were not set up great at the gate as there was a huge line that was very slow to move. However, once you got past security everyone was friendly and the food and drink stations were fast. Parking Across the street from the venue is a large public parking lot. The great thing is that parking is free after 6pm, so when most events would be taking place you don't have to worry about paying for parking. Extra Although it would never host a major concert, North Shore Bandshell is definitely a fun little venue to see a concert. They host lots of smaller events and I would not hesitate to return. A beautiful outdoor arena with solid acoustics and decent prices for the vendors inside.

Yelp
So happy we saw Arturo Sandoval here in 2021. It was great hear live jazz outside and not have to worry about COvVID. Staff was welcoming and helpful, the fans were well-behaved, and parking was easy.

Yelp
This is a great space for live music shows! Convenient parking across the street that's free after 6pm, large open air space that gives you plenty of space to walk around, and many of the concerts I've attended were either free or inexpensive! It's a great place to discover new music, especially Miami's local music scene. I'd say the only thing that leaves room for improvement is the need for more covered area for when the weather turns bad, but even that didn't stop the last Mooncake festival I went where people danced in the torrential rain to the sounds of The Galactic Effect and Afrobeta.

Yelp
Honestly I had a fabulous time in this venue. The space was breezy & felt perfect. Its not a huge venue, but it didn't feel cramped or overwhelmingly small! Open air so the only downside is that if it rains there is no covering. I believe they are remodeling the space so excited to see how it will turn about.

Yelp
Hands down one of the cutest ampither venuea i have ever been to. This spot is the perfect size. I came here to see The Original Wailers. There are twinkle lights hanging fromt the stage to the back on the theater. It has a real intimate setting. There was booths for food, beer and wine. There was alao merchandise for sale. Just great vibes all around! I cannot wait to come back!

Yelp
I never knew about this place until I came to watch one my favorite bands Cut Copy perform!!! I love that band. I also loved this location it was small and spacious at the same time. I am not sure who hired the bar tables but the lines were insanely long since there was just one barista at each bar to get a drink. The burgers were good too. I will come back here they did tell me that they do community events here too. The bathrooms were clean btw!

Yelp
The North Shore Bandshell is a much welcomed addition to the City of Miami Beach. Whereas it used to be in decay, in September of 2011, the Band Shell was finally restored with many improvements and inaugurated. It serves as a beautiful beach side outdoor amphitheater, with acoustical plaster, theatrical lighting, and a stage. This is a great place for bands to play, though I am unaware of any local bands playing there at this time. There is, however, a food truck and music fest the fourth Wednesday of every month (I have never attended), so I assume they'd have live bands playing on those days. If you have kids (or if you like children's movies), the North Shore Bandshell has free movie nights, every Friday at 7 p.m., and free popcorn is included. Most of the movies are G or PG rated, but some are PG-13. You can check the schedule here: http://www.miamibeachfl.gov/WorkArea/DownloadAsset.aspx?id=77746. It is a great and inexpensive way to spend some quality family time and enjoy the great outdoors, while breathing in clean air and watching the stars. Don't hesitate to take a beach stroll afterwards. Parking in the lot across at 72nd is free after 6, so you can't beat that: free parking, free movie, and free popcorn. There are usually plenty of kids around, so your kids can even make new friends here and play with them prior to the movie. There are plenty of local restaurants around this area as well, if you want to grab a meal after the movie. Speaking of meals, you're welcomed to bring outside meals and drinks to watch the movie. Some people brought burgers and sodas. You may want to grab a blanket or a hoodie, as the sea breeze can make you feel chilly. I'm not sure if they continue playing movies in the summer and its stifling heat and humidity. If you're interested in renting the bandshell for an event, that is also something you can do. There is plenty of seating, as you can see from the photos!

Yelp
I consider this place one of my Miami Beach pearls. I have lived in 5 diff states and countless cities u know I mean biz. It has the perfect venue to have an intimate concert but big enough that you can step out unnoticed. I always have to keep my eye on the calendar because they have constant free concerts and the paid ones are very affordable. I love to go to see my favorite local artists-@RoseMax and @SpamAllStars

Yelp
We were lucky that it was a very pleasant evening with a nice breeze. The seats weren't very confortable being aluminum benches but they were acceptable. In the fall and winter it must be an exceptional place to watch shows.

Yelp
This place is so magical for me! There is always an interesting array of unique concerts, many of them free. The cool architecture and twinkling lights make the ambiance truly amazing. I try to come whenever I can.

Yelp
Such a great feature of the north beach neighborhood. Always something going on here and usually free. What could be better than hanging out at the beach with food trucks and music. It's a much lower key and accessible option to south beach events and there's always parking. Miami beach mayor Phillip Levine has made a tremendous effort to bring attention to this underrated neighborhood of Miami beach. It's one of my fave beach neighborhoods, the beach is gorgeous here and the diversity of mom and pop independently owned Latin flavor restaurants make this area so unique. During the day grab a coffee at Sazon and hit the beach, walk the boardwalk, or play volleyball. At night get a drink at aromi attend a concert at the bandshell and take a walk in the beach at night. You can't lose.

Yelp
We've visited the 4th of July event yesterday. It was pretty fun. A lot of families, kids, pretty much everyone. They have bathrooms, food trucks, beverage tents including alcohol. A lot of people come with their own chairs and food as well as drinks which is fully allowed. The stage is big with good music. But when it came to the fireworks it was really bad. We been sitting next to the stage all day and the fireworks were on the complete other side near the beach. So if you want to get the full experience here is what we've learned. Sit and enjoy the band and then go and look for a spot at the beach to see the fireworks completely and in full action.

Yelp
Good acoustics and very nice to have in this area. I've been to a Ceu concert here but there is always stuff happening from concerts to beer fests.
