Finally did Art Basel, worth every penny - minus the fact that the robots were lagging at the entrance and they took over 30 minutes to trouble shoot, and you had to go to Starbucks to get coffee because no other coffee places were operating.. Everything else was perfect and organized. I also got a curly hair product/ gift from a kind stranger for flaunting my curls!

The convention center is very clean and well organized. The only thing I would recommend is that they do better with the signage. It is huge and if you park in the North side and are in the West side it is a long haul. They should have the expo organizers include a map and help people get to the correct side. The staff was super helpful and nice. The air conditioning worked so well we actually got cold!

Came here for the NFL Experience and was just there for the Miami Intl Auto Show. Great design, clean bathrooms and great space for mixed functions. The fact that GM was able to use an area for test driving. Phenomenal Experience!

The Miami Beach Convention center opened in 1958 at a cost of 4 million dollars as the Miami Beach Exhibition Hall. In 1964 Muhammed Ali defeated Sonny Liston here and in 1968 it hosted the Republican National Convention. Between 2015-2020 the convention center was renovated at a cost of 620 million dollars. Today it is a 1.4-million-square-foot, LEED Silver-certified facility. There is a Grand Ballroom, 500,000 square feet of flexible exhibition halls, 4 junior ballrooms, outdoor terraces and parks, and eighty-four breakout rooms. One of the biggest events of the year is Art Basal. More than 600,000 people visit the convention center every year. If you are coming to the convention center you can park at the convention center garage for $20 or walk a block away to the 17th Street garage for $2 an hour. The convention center is a large, modern space that was ideal for the event I attended, Playoff Fan Central, an interactive experience held over three days in conjunction with the College Football Playoff National Championship. The convention center is so large that a football field was constructed inside along with all of the other booths and exhibitors. The restrooms were convenient and clean. Security was tight and and I felt safe during the event. The convention center is across the street from the Miami Beach Botanical Gardens and withing walking distance of Lincoln Road and many other Miami Beach restaurants, shops, and attractions. It's convenient location makes it particularly attractive to visitors.

It is so big. Over 1 KM from one end to the other. Lots of bathrooms and it is always very well maintained. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Depending on where you are staying you will want to note the door closest to your hotel or you could have a very long walk around the outside of the building.

I was there for the world premiere of my movie TREASURE HUNT (please go and see it) and it’s such a beautiful event venue right in the middle of the holiday neighbourhood of Beach Miami, Florida. Very large and modern.

Wow, what a slick renovation of the old Miami Beach Convention Center! Inside and outside it's fully renovated and the staffers also seem much nicer. Outside is now adorned with a new metallic sculptural skin that makes it look futuristic. Inside the flow is much streamlined and even the bathrooms are nice The staffers also seem to have been carefully retrained. Both the folks specific to the venue (not convention staffers) and the parking folks are super sweet and helpful

I came here for Art Basel and I had a wonderful time. Huge facility and I loved that there were food and beverage stations.

I am writing this review as a conference goer, but the venue is classy and roomy. I had a fun time running around to catch different sessions throughout the conference. I was happy to meet so many interesting people and I also really enjoyed the catering they had here. The hometown pastries were absolutely delicious, and I believe that they were catered by the Convention Center. Someone please correct me if I am wrong. The bathrooms are sleek and well-maintained. The sitting spaces were good and allowed for great presentations. There is a goody story in this, but in the first day of the conference I was attending, I completely missed the instructions of where to go and just assumed to follow the instructions written on the door, not realizing that we were standing where the entrance was. We walked the perimeter of the convention center only to realize we needed to go back to where we eventually were. It was a humid day so I had a sweet patch on my dress shirt. Thankfully we were able to settle in at the conference.

I've been coming to the convention center for over 20 years. It's had a lot of changes, in fact a few years ago, they did a total remodel and it was closed for a year or so. I'm not quite sure what they remodeled since it looks exactly the same I can't tell any difference . Parking is and always was a nightmare. Since the remodel they got rid of a couple of the big parking lots that were right in front and made it into a park. There is a parking lot down the street that backs Lincoln Road, it's usually reasonable. In front of the convention center is valet for $35 for the day. I always thought manufacturers and companies wanted to come down to Miami in the winter but year after year there are less and less vendors coming to the shows. I'm not quite sure what's wrong maybe it's a lack of business maybe the charge too much, but honestly between the horrible traffic getting down to Miami and the shows not being what they used to be. I'm not quite sure I'll come back.

Came here for a disaster relief convention. They had all sorts of products needed for most natural disasters. It was super informative and there was a vast amount of people with products that were so advanced and needed. There were speakers present like the head of FEMA, and the national hurricane center. It was good to see such advancement in technological supplies, unique temporary housing, protective gear, food supplies, and so much more. It feels safer knowing there is more support out here in numerous ways for us all.

I attended the Emerge Americas Expo here last week, representing my employer. The convention center is quite sizable and situated in a bustling area of Miami Beach. Although parking at the convention center is the most convenient option, on this occasion, the garage was full. However, there are other parking garages within a 10-minute walk, and street parking is also available if preferred. Once inside the convention, I was impressed by the well-maintained facilities and found the staff to be helpful and friendly when approached. One thing to note is that the water fountains were unusable, so it's advisable to bring your own water or be prepared to pay five dollars for a bottle, as the only alternative within the venue is drinking water from restroom sinks.

It was good for the pickleball tournament. May have some hard to see spots and it was very cold inside but ok

I am here for the Miami International Auto Show. This convention center has a nice parking garage. They do have a flat rate of $20. There is plenty of parking all around. To get tickets to the show you have to get it online. They do not sell them here. The workers here are very helpful as to guide where to scan to buy the tickets. The event was very nicely put together. It had a good combination between oldies and new cars. The F150 looked really nice. I liked the new colors. I personally I think Toyota did a great job. They had some cars for test drive and an entertaining little show. It was nice. I enjoyed it.The Toyota female vendors, very friendly (don't leave your guy alone) lol I liked that the show was indoors and air-conditioned. Masks are required here.

Establishment houses trade shows, social events, conferences, corporate meetings & more. Great place to bridge the gap between the market place & ongoing global hospitality.

I just attended our Boogie Gopher Club NFT conference at the South Beach Miami Convention Center and what a blast we had. All things were great at the Convention Center, no complaints! The best part was that we were staying in an Airbnb close to the Center and discovered our gal Gina with URIDE when we came out of the conference for lunch break. Gina became our personal and trusted ride back and forth to the conference and to the beach, markets, liquor store, restaurants, etc. We couldn't have done it without her! She was awesome, personable, and punctual with all our requests. Thank you, Gina with URIDE. It is a 6 passenger GEM car...I have a 4 passenger back in LA...perfect for anyone staying in the area. Hook up with her and tell her Heather recommended you!! Enjoy South Beach...better and more fun than an UBER/LYFT!

I come to this convention center once a year, sometimes twice depending on the event that they are currently hosting, and I love being here every time. This convention center is for sure a stand out center when it comes to the state of Florida, and the sheer size of it would leave people in awe as well. Whenever I am here, it is always easy to get around the show floor, a building that can put up and take down walls so they can make multiple rooms on the bottom floor, if need be. Whenever I am here, I feel safe due to the fact that they have metal detectors and bag checkers making sure no weapons get into the building. It is very easy to navigate if I am ever lost because they have multiple maps and little photos around the convention center, showing where you are at that moment, and all the smaller rooms labeled and where they are around the building. They have a handful of food options but I don't really think you should go to any of them because for the price they are charging, such as almost nine dollars for a bagel with cream cheese, the food leaves much to be desired. The employees are always friendly and ready to help you if you have any questions and they have security walking around the floor at all times to help give you an added sense of security and safety as well. Overall a very nice convention center but sometimes tends to get dirty quickly and I will walk past the same trash multiple times before it is maybe cleaned. Friendly staff helps make this place nice as well!

Attended eMerge here... Attendees were very helpful & sweet but, and not sure who is at fault, there were TONS of gnats or fruit flies all over! It was so gross! Especially in the VIP lounge. There was also a major lack of planning when it came to the food. Breakfast wast decent in VIP lounge if you got there early. Baked goods & a variety of delicious chai puddings & yogurt/granola parfaits. YUM! Other than that, you were lucky if you managed a spring roll, a piece of cheddar, a cracker & a bite-sized donut... I would not have minded paying for food either but for the mass of people attending, they had like 6 food trucks, each with lines that looked straight out of Disney... 200 people deep. Conference was cool, but after almost 10 years, you'd think eMerge would bd better prepared... especially when charging almost $2,000 per VIP ticket w a straight face... oh, that AND the fact that all the VIP bars closed at 4pm, meaning the Friday cocktails lasted all of ONE hour... NOT COOL, eMerge. NOT. COOL.

This is one big modern place; absolutely huge! I like the architecture and I really like the colored tiles throughout. Inside it's a typical convention center with large rooms everywhere, but the best thing about this place is where it's located! - Theres a nice relaxing path by a canal with benches on the north side. - The west side has the beautiful botanical gardens as well as a large open park. - A tall unique tree is on the east side of the center. And, just a few blocks east, is the wonderful beach and ocean; a 15 minute walk. -Walk a couple blocks south and you're on the famous Lincoln Rd with many shops and cafés. This is all perfect, because, as we all know with busy convention floors and sessions, a need to relax and take a breather elsewhere is sometimes required. These surroundings definitely allow for that; a huge plus.

A great place to spend time with family and friends, today going to the auto show with my wife and my son and like other years was an amazing time, see al new models cars , future cars and old cars almost we travel on time to past , present and future. Next year I'm going back again.

The Miami Beach Convention Center is newly reimagined for 2018, undergoing a $615-million state-of-the-art transformation and includes nearly 500,000 square feet of exhibit space and a 60,000 square foot ballroom. From the outside the design is very innovative and fits right in to the modern Miami vibe.

Great time at the Miami Beach Convention Center! Here they have the yearly Miami Car ShowCase. Parking is easy to find because there is a huge garage right in front of the convention center. Parking is $2 an hour or $20 all day flat rate. Food is always pretty expensive at any of these events but that is expected. Clean, restrooms in every corner you look, and friendly staff.

The venue for this trade show was beautiful. The new and improved Miami Beach Convention Center is perfect. However the auto show was so disappointing! None of the luxury cars brands were there! It was truly a waste of time.

This place has some of the most entrance fees to trade shows, and they always lack products. This 2023 auto show is a crap, hardly any cars. I don't recommend it to anyone looking for options.

Great setting for the annual Auto convention! Valet was $30, the liquor stand had a decent selection, and overall the center was clean and nice for the Auto show.

Convention Center The Miami Convention center is what you would expect: a large box to visit with trade shows and other events. There is nothing special about this location and frankly the place can be confusing to find the entrance too as there are a load of doors on Washington ave that do not actually let you go to the show - so you have to walk all the way to the other side - which sucks in the rain. Anyway, the place hosts trade shows etc. as previously mentioned and does an adequate job as it is designed for that purpose.  Plenty of clean rest rooms around the perimeter of the exhibition hall and there was one small food concession available. Massive and brightly lit lobby when you enter sets the tone and is good for meeting your group prior to the event. Parking is nearby

We didn't realize how long we were here but we spent 7 hours looking at all the cars! It's a good place to be able to take your time to look at cars without feeling pressured by a salesperson. Of course someone is close by if you have any questions. The exhibition was smaller than in the past as some of the automakers were not present. They had a Ford Performance Simulator which was like a video game. The line was really long so we didn't do that. They had Camp Jeep where you ride with a driver in a Jeep on an obstacle course. We would have liked to but we were in with the cars for so long that I'm not sure if it ended by the time we went out or if it was cancelled due to the rain. It sounded like it would have been fun. They have $2 discount coupons at new car dealerships or at McDonald's. We got ours from AutoNation Toyota in Weston.

I'll always remember Miami Beach Convention Center as the place where I was when I found out that I had received my Elite Badge the first time. I was there to attend a food show. I had been waiting weeks to hear an answer for my application for Elite status. I took a break from the show festivities and sat down on the steps with many other attendees who were looking at their phones. I checked my mail and there it was!!!!!!! "Are you ready for the Elite Badge?" "Because the Elite Badge is ready for you". I almost fell down the steps I was so excited!!! Followed closely by a wonderful congratulations from Blue!!! It was such a great moment. It meant so much to me and still does. Whenever I go to the Convention Center, I always think of this day. The Convention Center is being renovated from stem to stern. It looks wonderful. It's still hard to find a place to park. It serves its' purpose quite well. If you love to walk, this is the place to go.

I haven't been to the Convention Center in a very long time so when the Auto Show turned up this week, I decided to stop by to see what $620M in renovations looks like. When I went this week work was still being done to the north part of the center where it looks like the loading docks are located. The lot across the street was also a staging area for construction materials used to complete the renovation so it's still quite messy. There's supposed to be a very large hotel proposed for the area and it may be great for the area but supposedly the taxpayers are responsible for paying the costs which I'm adamantly against that; that won't benefit me a bit at all. Anyway, there's an election coming up in just a few weeks and it's on the docket to voted on. Most of the work was done outside according to the Herald: "Miami Beach Convention Center, which just wrapped the main phase of its three-year, $620 million renovation. The improvements include the addition of 263,000 square feet of space, 10 new meeting rooms and LEED Silver certification, which is granted to environmentally friendly buildings." The part of the convention hall looks the exact same with the bathrooms updated and quite nice. I didn't see the addition of 263,000 sq. ft. but then again I'm not so familiar with the property. It's definitely nicer and will be fit for the next 50 years for sure....

Glad this space is back up and running! I went to the Miami boat show last weekend and enjoyed it. The parking across the street is extremely convenient. I recommend getting to your event early so you can snag a good spot.

I came to the Miami Beach convention center this past weekend to attend the auto/car show. The center is big. The building was clean and well maintained. There was plenty of bathrooms that were also clean and fully stocked on all items. Overall, I think it's a great location. I parked at the parking garage near by.

Throughout the years in my professional life have worked many conventions in various cities both domestic and international, but got to honestly say that have only been to our Miami Beach Convention Center a few times and mostly for the local Home, Auto or Motorcycle Shows Why wouldn't every company or organization want to hold their conventions or expos Miami Beach Convention Center? City full of diversified culture, spectacular restaurants and night life, sunshine and warm weather all year round and with some of the most beautiful beaches you'd figure their would be no other conceivable place to go... However, other cities are constantly beat out Miami when it comes to hosting large conventions because of our conventions center. Although millions have been invested recently to improve its condition and appearance, it still falls short in size to host those big national events and our public transportation getting in and out of Miami Beach is a nightmare. This week attended the International Auto Show and first thing I noticed was new clean modern appearance and rest rooms were very clean. There are refreshment stands with food and beverage, but none that offered quality food for the amount of time we would spend there. Overall show looked like it went well, but you can tell that a lot of the main brands like BMW and Mercedes opted not to exhibit in Miami and only concentrate on the larger convention in Chicago, Las Vegas and New York. Until convention Center is moved out of Miami Beach or something serious is done about parking and public transportation I don't seriously think that we will see the improvement no matter how much $$$ our local government has invested.

In my profession I go to alot of Convention Halls. I must say 620 million this was not a great deal for what they got. Truthfully went two days and not impressed at all. The valet across the street actually seems like out front is smaller than it used to be. So as for the facilities the ladies room was clean. The food made on site gave me and several other colleagues food poisoning. One exhibitor from out of town actually ended up missing a day and was locked up in his hotel room. As for me it started with the hamburger the gentleman takes precooked burgers and reheats them on a grill. He than takes rolls and warms them up on the same small grill. The lines were enormous and they couldn't handle the crowds. If I had known I would be sick I would have videoed the process. So the reheated burger and greased bun get warm. He puts on a pretty bamboo like plate. I skip the chips and cheese but get the lettuce and tomato. It started pretty soon after it was repeating on me. Later on the running to the toilet and lastly throwing up. It has now been 36 hours and I am still queasy from it. So there you have it. Hopefully the tradeshow I was at moves back to Ft. Lauderdale.

I have not been in here in years and last time I went was great. This place is gorgeous. So nice, modern, ample, and clean. I went for the FIBEGA expo and I parked a block away. I paid right there and it was not expensive at all; $2 per hour.

Newly opened expanded convention center. Very modern but not much happening today, where are the antiques? They are creating a public space across the street but more parking is needed.

Fantastic Location & Space . This is the best Convention Center in America . Triple AAA+ Location. Walking distance to everything. Self Parking, Municipal Indoor Lot 1 Block Away . Security is top notch - Miami Beach Police patrol inside & out . Directly across the street from botanical garden . Holocaust museum and outdoor sculpture less than a block away . Lots of stuff to see and do near the Miami Beach Convention Center .

Came here for my very first Art Basel. There was construction all around so it was very hard for a pedestrian to get to and wanting to be all fancy I was in heels (blister city). There was a ton of traffic backed up all around and many of the roads closed. The security was very intense which I liked since all the craziness happening everywhere. Made me feel a lot safer. Others told me the line had been ridiculous earlier though so they may have needed more man (or woman) power. Upon walking in the building we were blown away with how large it is! It's magnificent and beautifully laid out. Finding bathrooms was easy with all the signs (but they were all super stinky). Their VIP food court had some GREAT food and I was very impressed. I had a yummy adobe chicken bowl and soy latte. I was only there for a couple hours so couldn't make it to around the whole thing. The art was breathtaking! I will be back next year :) (in flats)

Have been here various times for events over the years, most recently for the Miami Int'l Auto Show. We weren't sure where to enter since my last time here for a conference, you could only enter on the Meridian Ave. side, so we had a long walk around to the entrance on Convention Center Dr. Overall, the renovation looks nice. Parking is still an issue, but I doubt that'll ever change and may only get worse if they add a convention hotel. We really enjoyed the auto show. My son especially as he's into cars.

Came out here for the MLB All Star Fan fest event. Parking is near so the walk wasn't too bad... besides the fact that it's 100 degrees out! The convention center is currently under construction so a few of the roads are still closed. We just had to follow the detour signs and we were able to figure things out pretty quickly. The construction noises also did not disrupt the event so that was great! Can't wait to see how the final result of the center will look for the Car show in a few months. That should be exciting. Hopefully it's done by then.

I went the Miami Beach Convention Center for the the Miami Beach International Auto Show. The Convention Center has changed and it is simply beautiful inside and out. The staff was very helpful and courteous. Hopefully with time, more events will make their way back when things normalize. The Auto show was very small with close to ten Manufacturers missing and many of the vehicles off limits. Honda, Infinity, Buick, Mercedes, BMW, Tesla, and the Mini Cooper to name a few were missing. The show was a shadow of its former self, but at least they tried. You can't blame the way things are these days. But the Convention Center is beautiful, parking is near by and there are many restaurants in the area.

I've attended a few conventions and trade shows of different sizes here. For the most part it's an average (good) convention center. One cool feature is that, if you enter at the rear of the building and need to get to the front for check-in or to enter a particular event, you get from one end of the building to the other via an overhead glass-walled walkway that allows you to look down on the convention center floor and see the show from above. While there are refreshment areas with standard convention fare available here at the hall, Lincoln Road with lots of restaurant options is only a few blocks away and easily within walking distance which is definitely a bonus. The low point of attending conventions here over the past few years has been the parking, or incredible lack of it. During the last few trade shows I've attended here, I drove around for at least 30 minutes trying to find parking and ended up hiking a very long distance, which is never fun in the heat and humidity of Miami Beach while wearing business attire. That being said, it appears that a new parking garage is being constructed nearby.

I've been to a number of events at the Miami Convention Center from several trade shows, Art Basel and the South Florida Auto Show and have generally been very pleased how they have handle things, the convenience of the parking and the availability of good surroundings. Unlike the nearby Fort Lauderdale Convention Center you don't have a security hassle having to show proof of your identity, drive through armed road blocks with security peeking in and about your car. Also, its massive size can handle jumbo size groups with ease and I've never found parking to be any more and most often less of a hassle than in other convention venues. The best part, however, about Miami Convention Center is that it is located in a relatively safe, pleasant area of town and has plenty of nearby, within walking distance, restaurants and shopping such as are located on Lincoln Road. So, I've added an extra fourth star not for the convention center itself, but for the good nearby areas and things that surround it and accordingly add to it.

I used to go to the Miami Beach Convention Center for the International Auto Show every year when my husband and I were first married 30 years ago......since then they've built a convention center in Broward County and we started going there instead because it's much closer for us. We haven't been to any auto shows in about 10 years, so when the hubs suggested we go on a Saturday afternoon I said "yes" and went with it. The Miami Beach Convention Center was almost exactly how I remembered it, except they have added a parking garage right next door which added to the convenience! So many cars! What fun! This is a great location for the auto show because it's really big and each car manufacturer had lots of space to display vehicles & there was so much to see! (I was kind of disappointed that a few manufacturers: BMW, Mercedes, Lamborghini, etc weren't there. I know this isn't the fault of the Convention Center, but I missed seeing their displays. Also Tesla wasn't there & it wasn't on the no-show list. That is a display that my husband and I were looking forward to seeing.). We spent several hours looking at the 2019 cars and a few really cool concept cars. It's really nice that most vendors let you actually sit in the car, look at the trunks, etc. This convention center has a great location, so we were able to visit a few boutiques along Lincoln Road & then stop in for a nice dinner with friends after we finished up in the auto show. The convention center has been kept up really well & it's a great place for large events.

Awesome location! Came here for a Hackathon and while it was confusing to find the location once arrived it was easy there after returning each day. Parking varies but the closer the more $$$. Roughly $4/hr here. So be aware of those rates

Throughout the years, I have had a love-hate relationship with the Miami Beach Convention Center. Years ago, I worked for an event planning company who was a supplier for many of the events held here. Hence, I know the hard work firsthand that everyone does to make sure that an event is a success. I know how booths are set up, how they get electricity, the works essentially. It is rather remarkable how people band together to do these things. Sadly, this is where my positivity ends. The parking situation is chaos. Aside from the huge parking garage on 17th, parking anywhere else easily makes coming here a bit of a walk. If you manage to get a parking space at that particular garage, get ready to cross the street. The drivers are crazy and seriously do not jaywalk. You may see the end of your life otherwise. Going inside the convention center, you are bound to face tight security. This is good as it provides safety. Unfortunately, some of the security is extremely uptight and sometimes at these events, they do not label things accordingly. This past Saturday, a security told me very nonchalantly that I couldn't sit on the floor. This wouldn't have bothered me except I felt I got an attitude and I honestly think that they should have had a sign there, which I said so, only to be met with no reply. Not to mention that if you go, be prepared to freeze. It is the North Pole. The only way not to freeze is if somehow, someway, you go to an event that is ridiculously packed, and even then, I sincerely wonder. I will no doubt go again and continue on with my love-hate relationship with the Miami Beach Convention Center.

Great AC, great lighting, decent food vendors, but holy cow is parking a disaster...and their expansion makes getting around a five block radius nigh impossible. Urban planning at its worst...making the venue larger without planning for patron parking = idiocy. Having the ticket booths set sideways so that all the lines for ticket purchases block the front doors is also genius at its Floridiot best.

Came here for the first time to experience the car show. Words couldn't explain how much my son thoroughly enjoyed it! It was great! All the cars and trucks of all sorts, some old many new and some even antiques! This is definitely an event i will return to next year with my family.

Came here for an event for Florida Supercon. So this review is mainly ON THE CONVENTION CENTER itself not the event. So Supercon hosted a big event geared to pop culture. A lot of people dress up in costume. I appreciate that the place has very good AC. I was practically cool the whole I was there with tons of people around me. Bathrooms are pretty bad. Half of the time I did not have any toilet paper in the stall I was in. Definitely needs to be updated, possibly have hotels CONNECTED to the convention would be an added plus as well. Walking to the convention in the sweltering heat is not pretty, even it is just a few blocks away.

This is a very nice convention center with a lot of events throughout the year. The center has been recently renovated and updated with a modern feel. My experience here was very good and their is plenty of parking around the area. This is the main center for any event in miami.

This is going to be a big hit in the beach once the project is completed! It needed the revamping! We attended the auto show there a week ago! Parking garages are close by and there's still construction around so be patient!

I've come here from everything for picking up marathon race packs, a work related technical fair a few years back, wine fairs and most recently Exxxotica. From an aesthetic perspective, the convention center does it's job. It's essentially a big box building with large open spaces and very brightly lit (more on this later). They get points for being one of the few Miami Beach spots with plentiful parking. I haven't tried the food there either for the race packet pickup or Exxxotica so I can't comment on it. Temperature has been OK, and the people manning the ticket booths were functionally pleasant. At least they smiled and said to "enjoy the show". Since my most recent visit was Exxxotica, I'll make a few comments on that: 1. Regarding my earlier comment about the lighting, it was a tad too well lit for being an adult industry event. I would have expected some more subtle lighting. 2. Audio / aucostics were pretty good, where we could hear the music from one stage clear the other end yet it didn't overlap with any of the other seminars, nor prevent us from hearing the sales pitches. 3. The couple of performances seen were pretty tame, I guess along the lines of an R rated film. 4. My friend and I were not harassed by any religious pamphleteers outside as I heard happened at this event in years past. Still, MBCC is an adequate spacious locale for your convention. If they do a few updates on the look and lighting of the place it could go higher than 3 stars. See you at the next event!

My first visit to the Miami Beach Convention Center was prompted by Art Basel 2013. This large venue was perfect for the masses that attended the Art Basel event. The diversity of the galleries and the size of many of the displayed art work is a testament to how large and adaptive the convention center is. I can imagine it being the perfect blank slate for all types of events that require spacious yet intimate settings as well.

Big in size, convenient in location, and host to excellent shows - the MB Convention Center is really the hubbub of special activities in Miami Beach such as Art Basel, Auto Show, Boat Show, and other highly-regarded expos. There's also easy shuttle drop-off points from mainland Miami.

I've been coming to the Miami Beach Convention since I can remember, but no event comes close to excitement as the annual boat show. Every year it just keeps improving and becoming better. This year it took three locations (the convention center,isles marina and bayside). Nothing like walking calmly through the halls and the silence it's broken by horns of great boats who indicate that one new happy person has become a new boat owner. They have all you can imagine. Everyone seems to be super relaxed and the vendors are not pushy specially knowing that you are going with the intention of making a purchase. This year they added a water taxi from bayside marina to isles marina which it's nice and shuttles running every ten minutes to the convention center. Advise: bring something to sneak on or just wait until you get to bayside and lunch of dine in one of the many restaurants available. The food in the convention center is ridiculous in price and poor in quality. A Venezuelan arepa with mozzarella cheese was 8 dollars......laughable, a small bottle of Perrier 5 dollars and a hot dog 10 bucks. The bathrooms here were exceptionally clean, and the event all together was very well arranged and exceeded my expectations.
