Just played a round at Miami Beach Golf Club and honestly, I’m obsessed. The course is super well-kept and feels like a tropical escape in the middle of the city. The layout made it fun and challenging without being intimidating. The palm trees, the breeze, the views — it’s giving main character energy. Plus the staff was super chill and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. I grabbed lunch after at their little restaurant and it was actually so good?? Like not “golf course food” at all — legit quality. It’s the kind of place where you don’t even have to be a golf pro to enjoy the vibe. Definitely planning on coming back soon!

Google
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) Miami Beach Golf Club is truly one of the best public golf courses in South Florida. The location is ideal—just minutes from South Beach—making it perfect for both locals and tourists. From the moment you arrive, the staff is welcoming, professional, and attentive, which adds to the overall premium experience. The course itself is beautifully designed. It's challenging without being overwhelming, with plenty of water hazards, bunkers, and strategically placed trees that demand accuracy off the tee. The fairways and greens are generally well-maintained, and the layout offers a great mix of holes that test different aspects of your game. Some greens were a bit slower or patchy in spots during my round, but nothing that significantly took away from the experience. The pace of play can vary depending on the day—on weekends it tends to slow down a bit—but I found it manageable. The clubhouse is modern, clean, and well-equipped, with a solid bar and grill if you want to relax after your round. Overall, Miami Beach Golf Club delivers a great mix of location, scenery, and challenge. It may be on the pricier side for a public course, but the quality justifies the cost. Highly recommended.

Google
Had an amazing experience at Miami Beach Golf Club, and it was made even better thanks to Dilara, the absolute star of the course. She was fantastic from start to finish — personable, attentive, and awesome. Her drinks were on point all day, and she always seemed to show up at the perfect moment. What really blew me away was how far she went above and beyond. I accidentally dropped my range finder somewhere on the course, and without hesitation, Dilara took it upon herself to search for it. Not only did she find it, she tracked me down across the course just to return it. That kind of service is rare, and it made the day unforgettable. Also have to mention: the course itself is in incredible shape — beautifully maintained, great layout, and such a fun place to play. Overall, 10/10 day. Huge shoutout to Dilara for making it exceptional. Highly recommend a round here!

Google
I was searching for the perfect golf venue to host my husband's surprise 50th birthday celebration. After researching several golf clubs in the Miami area, I came across Miami Beach Golf Club, thanks to its positive reviews on both the golf course and restaurant food. It absolutely lived up to the praise. From the very beginning, Jim Nourse, the restaurant director, was incredibly helpful and professional in planning the event. His guidance made the planning process seamless. On the day of the celebration, his assistant Jacob and the entire team provided exceptional service, ensuring everything ran smoothly and our needs were met with care and attention. Jacob and his team truly went above and beyond during the event. Their attentiveness, professionalism, and genuine commitment to making the day special made a lasting impression on us and our guests. The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and praised by all of our guests. A special mention goes to the manager Alexis Garcia, who played a key role in coordinating the surprise. He and his team carefully tracked my husband’s progress on the course by monitoring his golf cart, keeping me informed so we can time the surprise perfectly. As for the golf itself, my husband had an incredible time. He described the course as challenging yet enjoyable with a great layout, beautifully maintained, and stunning scenic views. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! I highly recommend Miami Beach Golf Club for both golf and hosting any special occasion!

Google
Little soft, but a nice and challenging course with a great pro shop, facilities, and staff Food was average though

Google
Course is in excellent condition. For a municipal course, it doesn't get much better in Miami Dade county. Fairways and greens were excellent. Pro shop is well stocked and the clubhouse and patio aree are really nice.

Google
Played course on June 21, 2024. Great hospitality, facilities, and course. Everything was in pristine condition. Cart girl was seen at least 5 times during my round. Drinking water is frequent throughout the course for the hot days. The course is very challenging and will make you pay if you don't land in the fairway from the tee boxes. Don't be fooled by the greens, they look great and quick but are actually slow from what they perceive. Only downside of playing here was I didn't get to see DJ Khaled lol. Recommend this course to anyone looking for a good time.

Google
It’s a good solid course, and practice facilities for being in the middle of Miami Beach. Nice little driving range, and putting green. The clubhouse is great and has a nice atmosphere. The staff were friendly and always helpful. The course itself was good. Great greens that run true, and the bunkers were also well maintained. The fairways and rough are also well put together and the course layout makes for a challenging but fun round. Overall, it was a good time but the price point seemed steep in comparison to some other courses on the mainland.

Yelp
Beautiful course & facilities. Staff was courteous and efficient. Can't go wrong here.

Yelp
This review is in reference to the Pickleball Courts that are part of the golf course. Pickleball in paradise. You really can't beat these FREE, public pickleball courts right in the heart of Miami Beach. An absolutely beautiful setting on very well maintained courts. The people here, most of whom seemed like regulars, were all very cool. Loved that there was always at least one challenge court going. I have seen that Jamie Foxx has played here before, which is crazy to see him at a public park. Can't wait to return to Miami and play here again.
google avatar

Wolfgang J.

Yelp
Looking for the pickleball site to comment but could not find it. This place is so bad that I need to post my first ever posting. I must have missed the ONLY PROS allowed sign! I have never experienced such a group of people. Welcome is not part of their vocabulary. Do not recommend it to anyone coming from out of town!

Yelp
Really enjoyed myself at the Urban golf event at Miami Beach Golf Club. Great food, drinks, and fun times on the green!

Yelp
Came here with a group of friends solely to dine here for lunch. Did not play any golf, although we did enjoy the views and watching others tee off. Service is great for the most part, except for a few lapse where some of our requests were forgotten. We had a very friendly and talkative server, which we didn't mind. Got a lot of recommendations on various things to do in Miami, including nightlife. Got the burger, which I don't remember the exact name on the menu, but it tasted great. Fries were on point. Free refills on sodas. I would come back again in the future.

Yelp
Great 18 holes here. My favorite was hole 6. Nice course with lovely trees and nature all around. No gators but lots of ducks around.

Yelp
Don't buy balls here they are taxing crazy prices! 40$ for 6 proV1xs is just crazy talk.
google avatar

Clint C.

Yelp
Dilara is amazing beverage cart young lady. Wow exceptional service. 5 stars both service and professional attitude.
google avatar

Eron P.

Yelp
$240 for midweek golf this completely average track with a busted range and no amenities, no thank you. Shula's is half the price and twice as nice. The starter didn't help at all and never got off his desk. The general attitude of the staff was pretty stank. We were psyched to get to the course and play what we thought was going to be an awesome yet expensive course and we were super disappointed.

Yelp
This is an excellent Golf Course, is kept in perfect condition throughout the year. Green fees are higher than most but it is sure to be well worth the extra money. Sitting right next to Alton Road on Miami beach, this golf course has a great landscape for amateur golfers just as it is challenging for the lower handicaps. It has a wonderful golf shop with the latest in equipment and clothing. 19th hole is very good. With outdoor sitting overlooking the golf course or inside for those avoiding the midday heat. Full bar is available and the food here is very good. We usually order the steak nachos, club sandwiches. All so good. They also have some local beers on tap which they serve really cold. Service is excellent.

Yelp
Had lunch here after playing 18... staff was lovely and our food was delicious! Cobb salad was heaven on a plate.

Yelp
Awful experience. I was visiting from out of town on business, and I thought I would try playing a round at the "elegant and highly regarded" Miami Beach Club. I happily paid the non-resident fee for the promised experience, and was assured the course remains open until 8 p.m. for my 5 p.m. tee time. What a joke. After playing TWO holes my cart was powered down and a broadcast came across the cart screen informing patrons and visitors that carts must be returned and the course was closing due to a ten minute rain shower. Barley twenty minutes into my round I returned to the club house to find my $150 was not honored with a rain-check. $150. Two holes. Twenty minutes. That's the experience the "storied property" is satisfied with offering.

Ivan O.

Yelp
The front desk staff and most of the people think they are doing you a favor for letting you play there. It seems you're not paying for it. Zero courtesy and zero customer service. And then it rain heavily for 45 minutes, pictures show how was the course and they said they don't give rain checks and that the field was open. Don't get me wrong, the course it's beautiful, the people at the restaurant it's very friendly. But this guys at the pro shop and the starter are total jerks.

Yelp
This review is actually for the restaurant at the golf course. This used to be a great escape for a casual breakfast or lunch. The food was in fact good - we both had churrasco sandwiches From the Grille. The meat was cooked perfectly. The only down side is that there must be a better way to serve it; the bottom of the sandwich was soggy and inedible. The service is ok, making for a leisurely lunch. But ... look at the small print. If offered a salad in lieu of the fries, you will be charged extra and it is not obvious especially since this meal was not listed as a Sandwich and Wrap. So, it's $1.25, but I found it uncomfortably deceptive. Also the waitress kept the itemized check and I believe I was overcharged for the sandwich. From a good taste for a good meal to a bad taste.

Yelp
Great views, exceptional grounds and restaurant. Staff was outstanding and we are going back

Keith G.

Yelp
Not a bad place. The greens had a little too much sand. The ball would not roll. But it was a good day
google avatar

Yelp
Driving range review only. Large bucket is $16 and this is currently the best driving range I've been to. You can tell it's well maintained by the color of the greens. Not sure how often they let you hit off the grass but it seems often as there is plenty of space to rotate the grass area.

Yelp
Nice golf course. Helpful staff. Ample parking. Good options for lunch menu, Greek salad does not disappoint.

Yelp
My review is for banquet dining in the clubhouse. I've been to two dinners in the Clubhouse at the Miami Beach Golf Course. The first was two years ago for my high school reunion. The second was recently when my graduating class celebrated my high school's birthday. Both events were similar. They started with a reception. A table was set up with an assortment of vegetables, cheeses, crackers, fruits, hummus, chips and salsa. Servers brought around cosmopolitans during the reception. There was a full bar open throughout the evening. We were each given two drink tickets. After that we could purchase drinks. Tables for the dinners were on the outside patio. A buffet dinner was set up in an adjoining room. There was a separate table with desserts, tea, and coffee. I'll review my most recent visit, although both dinners were almost identical. The tables were set with linen napkins and tablecloths. There were beautiful centerpieces although I doubt they were provided by the venue. Eating outside was lovely and we were lucky the weather was nice, not too hot or too cold. I don't think it would have been nearly as enjoyable if it had been a hot humid Florida evening. The reception was just okay. The table cloth skirt was cockeyed and coming down. Nobody fixed it throughout the reception. The food was set up nicely but the presentation was fairly plain. The cheeses were good but rather typical of an average cheese tray. The buffet consisted of rolls, salmon ceviche, chicken piccata, potato, fish, penne pasta, steak Diane, broccoli and cauliflower, tomato and cheese salad, and Caesar salad. There were plenty of choices and everything was pretty good. The steak Diane was very tender and had a nice flavor. The other dishes were good, but not great. The pasta needed more sauce. For dessert I had cheesecake with raspberry sauce. It was delicious. I think the cheesecake was the best thing on the buffet. The service was not good. The woman passing around the cosmopolitans during the reception was very unfriendly. I had to practically chase her down to get a drink. During the dinner nobody checked on us, or even brought a glass of water. I finally went to the bar to get a glass of water to go with my meal. I think it would have been a better experience if the service had been friendly and helpful. The clubhouse is nice, although not fancy. When you dine on the patio you get a nice view of the golf course. Parking was free, and I was glad we didn't have to use a valet.

Yelp
I'm a RABID GOLFER so trust me when I tell you I KNOW GOLF COURSES. I once swung my putters at balls off the cliffs of the Hombori Mountains in Mali while drunk on local hyena moonshine. What a RUSH that was. Lost most balls that trip, but that was during the war so what can you do I suppose. So naturally when down to Miami recently for a very serious medical convention regarding rampant disease outbreak, I had to pop out for a swing to blow off some steam. Disease policy is NO JOKE and it gets a man TENSE in the shoulders, amirite fellas? The fellas will understand. I was pleased with the firmness of the terrain upon first steps - some courses have real poor terrain consistency - but not this one! Nice and firm. Just like a tightly packed parcel wrapped up by a grandmother with strong hands to be shipped off across the country for Christmas. The winds were not howling and I didn't see any loose vermin on the course - always a plus in my books, and lets be real, usually out of the course management's hands. Now let's talk about the incredible diversity of the course - 10/10. There were rocks and climbs and ups and downs and even some wet areas. Sometimes I couldn't even tell I was in Miami anymore!! Like where am I??? Northern Manitoba?? Brazil?? What a rush. Much better than my 4mx4m backyard in Wyoming that's for sure. Now, here is where our beloved course sadly loses a star or two. And that is the clubhouse. After a GREAT day on the greens I sat down ready to inhale some solid nutrients after a good hard golf. In the interest of keeping a trim and shapely physique, I ordered a salad and a large glass of milk (for the calcium, gotta keep those bones in shape so I still have many years of golfing ahead of me!). First, the waiter gave me a LOOK for DARING to order milk which made me feel incredibly uncomfortable, especially as a person with absolutely crippling social anxiety. I took 150mg of Lorazepam and a shot of klonopin straight to the veins just to make it out in public that day so I did not appreciate the WINCE. Next, to my horror, the salad came topped with flecks of red pepper. My tongue immediately began to burn violently - thank GOD I had the milk after all!!!! The salad was too hot for me to enjoy and I was upset at the lack of warning on the menu. Some of us have extremely delicate taste buds which is why we guzzle so much milk. Customers MUST be warned. Otherwise, I think as long as this spot toned down its menu and gave its wait staff a talk in respect I think it'd be a hard 5 star for sure. Will be back next year to see if my feedback has been incorporated and take another swing around the firm and rustic course.
google avatar

Nalla R.

Yelp
Pretty good. Good portion for your money. I had the salad which was really good but they should warn you it's a bit spicy. Didn't know this existed. All the food on the menu look really good, can't go wrong with any selection. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Easily my favorite course in miami dade county! The staff is friendly, the club facilities are great and the course is in tip top shape. Water comes into play on about 15 holes so if you're a beginner bring extra balls and patience. (You can have a Tin Cup moment on the 16th hole trying to make the green over the water...got to try it at least once!) My only complaint is that the range hits into a couple holes causing a bit of a danger zone if you don't stay on the fairways. Otherwise, the course gets two thumbs up being fun, challenging and esthetically pleasing. The location can't be beat in the heart of Miami beach on beautiful Alton road. Miami beach Golf course is great destination for any tourist and local golfer. (And it's on the Premier Card so a summer deal!) To Top it all off, the cart girl's bloody Mary's beat most restaurants in town.

Yelp
Had a short lay over after a cruise and decided to play this course after reading reviews on yelp. The course was in very good condition and the greens rolled true after being aerated about 3 weeks old. Had a hour delay after a rain interruption. Headed to the clubhouse for lunch which was excellent. The course absorbed the downpour very well. The local said there were better course to play but I enjoyed the round. Maybe a bit overpriced but not a bad value at all.
google avatar

Chris E.

Yelp
@Karen M. You gave Miami Beach Golf Course two stars in your only review, yet you said that you've been going there for years, meaning you seemingly enjoyed the experiences you received in the past. You should try and give more accurate ratings of businesses to reflect more than just one bad experience. I am in no way a representative for MB Golf Course. I just appreciate fair reviews of businesses to give the rest of us who use Yelp accurate ratings to go on. That said, course is very high priced but that's to be expected on South Beach. But food was good and course was in nice shape. Nice but it's your standard South Florida golf course. Flat with short trees, sand and water.

Sam S.

Yelp
DO NOT GO!!! I am now going to the ER because the mosquito and bug issue is so bad at Miami Beach Golf Club that I have counted upwards of 90 bugbites on my legs alone. The instructor informed us that the bugs and gnats did not bite/ would not be an issue. Now I cannot even sit or walk or do anything because the pain, itching, and inflammation is so bad. They have done absolutely nothing to right the situation. I'm furious. 43 bites on a single leg...!!!! You couldn't pay me to go back.
google avatar

Sara D.

Yelp
Best course in Miami. Every hole is fun. There is water and sand everywhere... probably why they call it Miami Beach. My favorite part is 15, 16, and 17. There is a lot of wildlife and palm trees. The service is great and very helpful. Would recommend to all level of golfers.
google avatar

Stuart G.

Yelp
Grounds are well taken care of and the staff is friendly. Mary Hashagen is a great instructor too. Him McLean academy has it's own area for instruction that has rent cover which comes in handy during the summer months.
google avatar

Yelp
Fore! Ha. Ha. Although I am not a great golfer, I can write an honest review about this prestigious club and the events they host. Recently there for a local high school function, and acting as a chaperone, we were able to see many angles of how the venue was in place. From the well seated parking to the friendly staff who were willing and ready to stay with us until the very last few students were picked up late into the evening. They prepared a beautiful buffet style spread for the students and adults alike as the main course and their bar area -while closed to the teens and us adults alike - did well serving beverages that kept our thirsts quenched. They allowed a DJ and used a common area for a "dance floor" that the kids really seemed to enjoy and the music was pumping all evening long! All in all, a great experience for a decent price and I am sure the school will be back in years to come for other wonderful events. Thanks, Miami Beach Golf Club!

Sam M.

Yelp
Very challenging golf course, my favorite in South Florida to play. Great service, the pro-shop staff is very helpful. The course conditions are usually in top shape (depending on the time of year). I never pass on a chance to play here. If you really want to enjoy the course play on a Tuesday not on a Saturday.
google avatar

Nazr M.

Yelp
Solid course with very good greens but way over priced for out of town guest at $250 w/ tax (even at Twilight). Even overpriced at $120 for local guest to be honest. I would play the course again but never at that price point. I've paid more at courses and have felt that it was worth it but not today. Service was ok but nothing was memorable.
google avatar

Kevin W.

Yelp
Great golf course with good practice facility. If you don't like "tight lies" then don't show up. The grass is a special variety from Africa so the city can water it with salt water to save on the water bill. Lots of water. Good breezes and the greens are great. Don't overead your puts though. Great service from the drop off, pro shop and the starter. If you are not a 10 or less handicapp, please play the white tees.
google avatar

Steve E.

Yelp
Down here on a business trip and got to go out and play. Phenomenal condition and service. Would play every day if given the chance. Very fair, but some demanding shots as well. Loved it!

Yelp
I've been going to the Miami Beach Golf Course for years to eat. One of the best dishes they had was the Steak Nachos. But today we had a horrible experience. mostly the server's fault. That's what happens when you don't write things down. He messed up every single dish. He's lucky the tip was already included..

Thomas A.

Yelp
I played yesterday. The course was in great shape, and even though we were a twosome, the round was pretty quick, about 4Hrs 15 Min. The fairways, bunkers, tee boxes and greens were in very good shape. Range balls a complimentary, and ther range and putting green afre very nice. You hit off of mats on the range, but it is a very advanced artificial grass, that is quite a bit like the real thing. We played from the blues, and it was plenty long, although very compact. I played the Blue Monster the day before, and this course is every bit as nice, but it doesn't cost $450 (after tipping everyone). I did get to buy a TRUMP hat there though! If you are in Miami, this is sure bet for a fun round. I am a 9 hcp, and play about 70 rounds a year.
google avatar

David H.

Yelp
Outstanding public course in South Beach. Very reasonably priced. Course was in great conditions and greens were running fast and true. Played Indian Creek CC two days earlier and thought this was a better course. More challenging and more diverse holes. Highly recommend.
google avatar

Shawn L.

Yelp
Very well maintained course with great wildlife. Course was a little too open and the greens are very flat.
google avatar

Scott H.

Yelp
Course in fantastic shape. Greens roll real nice. Gave it 4 stars because of price (100) but if you are staying in South Beach great course that is close to you

Kristin O.

Yelp
Jacob is excellent when it comes to customer service and hospitality. Thank you for always taking great care of all members and guests!

Drew R.

Yelp
Karissa is the best cart girl. Golf course is in great condition. Facilities top notch
