"Korean food might be one of the most underrepresented cuisines in Miami-Dade County. In fact, we can only think of one place doing classic Korean dishes justice, and it’s Korean Kitchen. The 163rd spot makes a proper bibimbap served in a hot stone bowl, some of our favorite wings in Miami, outstanding kimchi, budae jjigae, and more Korean dishes you won’t find done this well anywhere else in town on the menu. Both the little dining room and outdoor patio are ideal spots to get very full with a few friends and a couple of bottles of soju." - ryan pfeffer, mariana trabanino

"If we’re handing out awards for The Best Sauce Situation and The Most Perfect Fried Exterior, Korean Kitchen would win both. Like proper Korean fried chicken, the wings have a thin, crispy outer shell that’s barely holding in tender meat that slides right off the bone. There are a couple of sauce options, but you want the “sweet and spicy”—a gochujang-based sauce that makes each wing so beautifully shiny you could probably use a drummette to find your way home in the dark." - ryan pfeffer, virginia otazo
"Mozzarella & Fish Cake Corndog, $5 Korean Kitchen is a tiny outdoor spot in North Miami, and, in addition to a whole bunch of great dishes, they serve the Korean version of a corndog, which is a beautiful golden brown stick of fried mozzarella with a fish cake center. If we didn’t already have way too much food on the table, we would have ordered two, because this thing was crunchy, cheesy, and a little sweet thanks to just the right amount of sugar dusted on the outside." - ryan pfeffer
"Korean Kitchen is a great casual Korean spot in North Miami with a little covered outdoor deck that’s perfect for lazily drinking a bottle of soju while making fun of the kind of people who think NFTs are the future. But you should still come here if you’re not in a soju mood, because this place makes some of Miami’s best Korean food, like a huge seafood pancake, bibimbap, Korean corndogs, and fish cakes in a spicy broth." - ryan pfeffer
