The menu boasted a wide range of authentic dishes, each more tempting than the last.The meats are perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection, juicy and tender with every bite. The sides, from the fluffy rice to the fresh salads, complemented the mains perfectly. The service was prompt and friendly, making me feel right at home. If you’re looking for a genuine taste of the Mediterranean in the heart of South Beach, Miami Mediterranean is my go to. Highly recommend!

I found the lamb chop picture to look good. So I ordered that. I found the lamb chops to be juicy and the meal itself looks well prepared. Overall they have a lot of dishes you can choose from. The prices are cheaper than a lot of places on south beach. The location is not hard to find either , between Collins and Washington. The food looked good and the service was fairly fast. I do recommend

We came and had the best chicken ever ! The rice was made so perfectly Definitely 💯 loved the food ! I cannot wait to come back !

First off, my rating is centered around the food. The service was great, but the physical place is essentially a "hole in the wall". I started with the Mix Grill Plate which is basically a sampler of the main plates they offer. Since I was unsure of what meat I would enjoy the most (pause), this was the best way to go in my opinion. The Kofte Kebab was my favorite and in the future would definitely get a stand alone plate of it. However, all the meat was delicious (pause). The jasmine rice had faint seasoned flavor and complimented the meat well. The pita bread was soft and warm. The salad was awesome, well dressed and seasoned. I don't like cucumbers but still ate every bite. The sauce that came with went well with everything on the plate. I finished with the Baklava. While it didn't taste exactly like what I have had before it was delicious as well.

The food was good. Nice and kind staff. The things that we don’t like is the prices are different from what you will see in the Google menu , and put in your mind you will pay more 15% if you will dine in.

The gyro plate is so amazing! And the shop owner is so sweet and wholesome! We love this place. The baklava is delicious as well!

Ordered through Doordash for food before partying on an afternoon and it was just the light-ish lunch we needed! Food came on time and it was still hot. We got two lentil soups and an order of falafel which came with five pieces. The falafel was crumbly and could have been a bit more moist, but it was hot and paired well with the accompanying sauce. The lentil soup was delicious! it wasn't too thick or thin, and the flavors were on point. This fulfilled my craving for soup that felt hearty and comforting. We also got a side of pita bread which I didn't eat but my partner had it with his soup. Overall I am happy with our experience here!

Hands down the best Mediterranean food joints I've ever tasted in the states!! I forgot to take a picture of the baba gahanoush but it was so delish and amazing that we gobbled it all up before I could take a picture. It was a creamy and flavorful. The flat bread that accompanied it was fresh and fluffy. We ordered the chicken shish shish, mixed grill plate, gyro sandwich, shrimp shish shish. Super fresh and homemade. The owner was personable and the price is affordable compared to surrounding restaurants.

Very solid salad and mixed plate. The portions are very generous and the flavor and seasoning is just right. I ordered a mixed salad plate and a salad with chicken kebab and both delivered.

The food is always fresh from the grill to your plate . The ambiance is like being in your home and the Service is always great teamwork. Every visit is amazing !

This is one of those hole in the wall, sketch at first, not sure if you should try it, kind of places. I had initially found this place on yelp and Google, and set the GPS to find it based on the reviews. At first glance, we weren't sure if we should go inside. Seating is minimal, and the restaurant is narrow with little room. However, my husband convinced me to give it a go, and we proceeded inside. The menu was your generic picture menu hanging with tape and whatever else, and pictures similar to other comparable Mediterranean eateries. You can see various packages of pre-made flat bread and other foods. Can of various beans cover the walls behind the counter. There are no prices listed, so we were a little set back when considering the ambiance, our 1 plate was $30 and the hummus $13. The service was quick, and the food tasted amazing. I really couldn't believe how good the mixed grill plate was considering my first impression, but it also should be amazing considering the price. The hummus was also delicious, and by warming up the pre-packaged Naan, it was a great compliment. We were just in town visiting prior to boarding our cruise ship, so likely will not be coming back, but, maybe give it a try if you're craving Mediterranean food while in South Beach. There are other locations that are cheaper and a bit more upscale, but all in all, please don't walk away based on the first impression/location.

I order from here via Uber Eats whenever I am craving something a bit more healthy and meatless. I usually get the mixed appetizer. It has so many good, yummy items in it: hummus, babaghanoush, tabouli, sauced eggplant, stuffed grape leaves, falafel, and a lot of pita bread. Recently I tried their lentil soup. It was a pureed soup, not chunky, which surprised me, but the flavors were so good! The prices via Uber Eats aren't too bad either.

We came to grab food around 10:20PM and we were turned away from being able to get food! We walked all the way from our hotel about 30min just to get food. Online it shows they close at 2:30AM we asked him if we could still get food because it says they close at 2:30AM and he was very rude. I highly don't recommend.

Better think twice about eating from here. I usually order delivery from here but was in the area and decided to just pop in and get a shawarma wrap. As I was walking up there was a guy standing right in the doorway smoking a cigar. I said hello, and excuse me so I could go in. Kinda strange already. I order with a young lady and pay with credit card. The guy who was smoking the cigar walks in after putting his cigar out, takes it out of his mouth, puts it on the counter, and then grabs the chicken out of the fridge and puts it on the metal dish to put on grill. I'm looking over the counter all confused like did I just witness that! Then asked the girl if he was going to wash his hands. He must have heard me and said something along the lines "is everything okay", and I said I was just wondering if you were gunna wash your hands after smoking that cigar. He immediately gave me a huge attitude like how dare I ask him that in his business. He was going off on how he did not touch my food and I told him okay but you are handling it and you should wash your hands. I work in hospitality. He said to me "yea well, this is a free country", "you want your $14 back, take it and leave". I said okay, I will. He gave me $14 cash and I left. Walking out I realized it was $14.42 and he gave me back $14. Not that .42 cents is a big deal but it's the principle. So next time you think about eating from here, if the owner is doing that and saying "so what it's a free country" imagine what else he's doing before making your food.

Was hanging out in south beach and wanted some Mediterranean food. Decided to check out this place after seeing reviews on Yelp. Service was great and attentive, food was good and filling. Not bad for the price.

How this place has an average 4.5 stars is beyond comprehension. I ordered the lamb plate, and it was quite possibly the WORST lamb I've ever eaten in my life - zero flavor and barely any meat. Never going there again.

Small mom and pops or some may call it a hole in the wall location. The servers were very friendly. Not just to paying customers, but they even gave out pita bread to a guy who had no money while we were there. There's about 4 small tables for dine in and the AC worked well! We ordered gyro dinner and chicken shish kebab dinner with two ginger ales. The dinners were served with Greek rice and Greek salad with pita bread. The chicken and gyro meat were seasoned and cooked to perfection. We spent about $43 for the total meal. We definitely went back the next day before boarding the plane. The only suggestion would be to clean the floor where patriots dine.

Food and service - WOW. Had the best meal with my boyfriend, 2 mixed plates and the owner was so kind and gave us complimentary hummus and pita. THE BEST VALUE - we're bodybuilders and we got a delicious salad, tons of yummy protein/meat and a great amount of rice. This was a lifesaver, basically our groceries for the rest of the time in the Miami area because we have some leftovers now. COME HERE YOU WON'T REGRET IT. I'D EAT HERE EVERYDAY!!!!!!

Delicious. If you need a quick bite in South Brach it's a perfect place to get something for the beach or to take back to your hotel.

I was in Miami Beach and hungry for some food and found this little gem tucked on an inside road off of Collins. I saw the positive reviews so I decided to check it out. It's a really small casual place that serves Mediterranean/Turkish/Middle Eastern inspired food. When I entered the young lady behind the counter was very nice and helpful. I asked for the most popular dishes and without hesitating she started making suggestions. She essentially ended up looking at me and said "you like chicken? (I said yes) to which she replied you're going to get the chicken shish kebab. Service was really fast and the food was incredibly fresh. The platter comes with rice, salad, a yogurt sauce with a touch of mint and some pita bread. The chicken is simple, moist and has a nice grilled taste. The salad is very fresh and enjoyable with every crunchy bite. During my meal the young lady made sure to check in on me to see if I needed anything else, something you don't see at all in smaller "casual" places. I highly recommend this place for anyone who visits Miami Beach. The food is good, the price is very fair (my entire meal + soda + tip was $19) and the staff help to make the entire experience truly an enjoyable one. 5 starts. Now time to put this away and destroy the rest of my food

Stopped in with friends this evening for dinner and this place was wonderful. We had falafel, pita bread, mixed appetizers plate, and chicken and lamb kebabs. We enjoyed everything; I especially enjoyed the falafel and hummus. A friend who had baklava said it was delicious. The staff was awesome and so welcoming. The space is small and decor is nothing extravagant. But you won't be disappointed by the food or service.

Great little 'hole in the wall' Greek place that serves fresh and crisp salads and excellent gyro on warm baked pita bread. Friendly owner explained some of the more regional cuisine to me and I'm looking forward to getting back to try more. Pro tip: the white sauce is made in house with cream, garlic and cucumber and is fantastic.

Hummus has a creamy texture, but still has a great flavor. It's a pretty large portion and comes with pita. They do not offer a side of pita, and I wish I had more to go with the hummus. The falafel wasn't crispy when I got it, but was solid enough, was glad I had extra hummus to dip into. The wrap is mostly meat, with a few veggies and a good amount of sauce. Chicken was tender and flavorful. Price was reasonable and delivered to the hotel via doordash. TLDR: not great, but not bad. Would order again.

I had the mixed appetizer, gyro wrap and baklava. It was delicious. The tabbouleh and hummus were amazing. The owner is there and cares about his customers.

It's simple, unassuming, and perfect for those late night (or mid-day) Mediterranean hankerings. As typical as a gyro place comes. The rotating meat, the smell of fried falafel, the din of customers talking over beers. It has comfort food written all over it. The service is simple and polite. You can enjoy your meal, unhurried. Like you're supposed to. Best part, it fits the bill for the Bueno, Bonito, and Barato crowd. At this location for almost twenty years, right off 11th street between Washington and Collins. Just spitting distance from the local watering holes that cater to the pre-clubbing or after work crowd. Or, if you're on the beach mid-day, the lunch specials are pretty unbeatable. It's not gourmet, but it satisfies the appetite.

Ok for what it was, it was decent. The chicken rice bowl was pretty good, but the rice was over cooked where it becomes too mushy. The baklava was really good ! First time having it and I can't wait to have it again elsewhere in order to find the differences between them according to the restaurants of my choosing. The plate was $15.99 and I found it a bit steep in the pricing for having grilled chicken with rice and a side salad and a pita or flatbread. I've gone to Mediterranean restaurant's in DC and the bowls are hefty and full of flavor with fried pita bread and they knock this place right off the park. My point is I got better flavor and amount of food for a much lesser price. If you don't mind paying $16 for the plate, then go try it out.

First time in Miami and was looking for a snack type meal. Stumbled across this place and will definitely visit again next time! I got the Chicken Gyro. The meat was well seasoned and was served well. My friend had the lamb plate and also throughly enjoyed it. If you are looking for a satisfying snack/meal in a authentic environment, then this is the place to come! The owner and staff here are extremely personable and will make you feel like you are apart of their family. Definitely recommend this place!

After watching a few movies for the South Beach Short Film Festival, we ended up at one of my bookmarked locations. We got this massive appetizer sampler and a side order of gyro meat, as well as a desert. Our bill came out to $27 for all of this impressive amount of food we received. My boyfriend jokingly told them it was my birthday and toward the end of our meal all of a sudden the Lebanese music turns off and I hear the tune of happy birthday. The people of the restaurant had a little birthday candle and sang for me. This made me so so so happy. I spent my birthday dinner in a tiny location where the food is cooked with love and the employees are such a great joy. I will absolutely be back AND recommend this place to anyone and everyone seeking Mediterranean food without breaking the bank in the beach. Love this place. :)

Unassuming Mom & Pop shop right near the Beach. Decent prices, generous portions and really....great...food. I traveled to miami twice in 3 months and the owner remembered me and my friend - I love that kind of customer service. I will returning here every time I go to miami because the food is great.

Great food at modest prices. It's tiny with a fantastic staff. It's a light on ambiance falling more in to a hole-in-the-wall category. Now doing delivery too. Beer, no wine. The wraps looked great, and were recommended by a police officer eating at the next table, but we split a gyro platter. Yum.

Ordered carry out around 5:00pm. I know this is rush time and the food reflected it. Not seasoned as well as I'm use to from Mediterranean Restaurants. I requested Utensils and that was ignored.

Don't be fooled by location between smoke shops One of the best chicken gyro sandwiches I've ever had! The food is amazing and the owner is wonderful and committed to his food and customers.

So I was looking for some good food around Miami beach and I came across this place on yelp. But once we came in the girl behind the counter showed so much attitude towards my family and I. She wasn't paying attention to us and kept forgetting parts of our orders. (customer service was just horrible) We ordered the shrimp, chicken and lamb kebab entree. The food came and it looked amazing, but tasted horrible and it was cold!!! We took several bites, but couldn't continue. The portions were small and overpriced, so this was just a really bad experience overall. Would not recommend!!!

Came in at 4:30 at 10/25th and Extremely disappointed. All of this for $26!!!! She got the order incorrect when it should have been chicken added shrimp but gave me all chicken. Came back and asked to switched and instantly denied. Not to mention when I walked in she's smoking a cigarette in through the back door and didn't even realized a customer came in. I expected a lot better service since I come here often and work in the industry. I have called to ask her for name but they don't even bother to answer the phone. Will never come back.

Miami Mediterranean Cuisine is proof that fine dining comes in all packages. The freshest ingredients, the consistent attention to detail, the extremely talented, dedicated, and thoughtful chef and team...MMC is OUTSTANDING. When you order for delivery, you can see the care that is put into each order. We've even received post-it notes with a word of explanation about a dessert. Some dishes that you may have given up on long ago, like tabbouleh and baklava, are so fresh and exceptional here that your taste buds will be amazed. We appreciate you, MMC!

We decided to get takeout falafel sandwiches. Placed our order through seamless. Even though on the menu it's listed that the sandwiches have sauce we didn't get any sauce. I had specifically put in a request for sauce as well. :( The falafel itself was good. Was hoping for better and fell short of expectations unfortunately!

The food is great and they follow directions with no problems. So i definitely have to give them five stars!

Food is great but ther meal potion sizes have reduced by so much lately that it's not worth the price any longer. Such a shame as they changed takeout to new cardboard containers that are so much smaller that you will be left hungry afterwards. Hopefully they go back to their old larger containers and bigger platter sizes at some point soon otherwise I'd recommend another spot.

Delicious, the shrimp was amazing and so was the rice and salad that accompanied it. I'm not a big fan of hummus but my companion said that it was great. The dolma was yummy, The Baklova was delicious. I will def go back! They also had my order ready in minutes. Thank you Miami Mediterranean.

Great food, but don't order on Grubhub. Once we waited an hour before the driver arrived at the restaurant and found out they were closed and notified us and second time got a call about 30 min later from Grubhub saying they were too busy and canceled our order. Not worth the disappointment!

This is the best Mediterranean food I have ever tried in my life! The owner is super friendly, and the food is just amazing! We tried the mixed appetizers and mixed grilled plate which is perfect for three girls! And if you come here, you wouldn't want to miss the desserts! Highly recommend this wonderful restaurant to try Mediterranean food

Wonderful little Greek restaurant just off of Collins. Reasonable prices and friendly staff. I absolutely loved the beef gyro. Best I've ever had. The Greek salad was very good too. We will definitely stop here on our future travels to Miami Beach!

This little hole in the wall has some of the best tabouli I've ever had. The grape leaves were good as well. I had the beef gyro which was good, but a little too salty for my taste. I'm not complaining though, I'd definitely come back and order it again.

I ordered Mix grill +grill salad with fries. Order supposed to be for 2-3 people, but it's actually for one and half ,or one person who have good appetite . I asked them not to put lamb meat for me,instead to mix chicken or beef what ever they decided,my request was just ignored . Chicken was burned, food cold ,fries cold ,when I taste it seems like they are from freezer. BTW Mediterranean food not supposed to be that spicy. I couldn't not eat it ,so I had to order from another place . Very bad experience, not recommended!!!

My favorite Mediterranean spot whenever I visit Miami Beach. Only place that won't break the bank and will remind you that good, affordable and healthy food exists on the beach.

The Lentil soup was more then perfect. Chicken Shish Kebab came with a good portion of rice and salad. I am really happy and super full. I highly recommend it for everyone that likes Turkish food. Will definitely order again
