Miami Shores Fish Market "The Shores"

Way over price : 6 oysters for $20.00 when Monty's sell em for 1.25 each and captain Jim for a dollar each and so many other 5 stara restaurants. But I guess theirs made out of gold ! Or maybe the ocean front location 🙄 I ordered the fish of the day was never asked how do I wanted it cooked! I have ordered clam chowder I get it after I finished with my food ! I had to ask for my soda after I was done eating ! The answer always was oh I forgot ! A couple were next to me they ordered the raw oysters but they gave em charbroil oysters and when he complained he was told cause most people order the charbroil oysters & he was so nice about it shook his head and said I guess I will try it. When I say horrible experience it is horrible and the can check the cameras to verify ! The time now is 4:26 pm Never again.

The oysters and lobster roll were delicious. My friend got the grouper sandwich and really enjoyed it as well. The citadel is awesome, lots of good food!

The Cioppino Fish soup with tomato base is AWESOME, one of the best I ever tried.. Servers are great, this joint is delicious. Pricey but real.

We enjoyed the Fish Tacos which we were told are whatever they are currently cutting and we were told these were Mahi-Mahi. These tacos were so fresh and the best we have had for a few years! They had great flavor and we would highly recommend giving “The Shores” a try! The Citadel is in an interesting location and not what we expected but glad we gave it a try. It is a large food court style with many different kitchen options.

We had a fried snapper & hot lobster roll. Absolutely delicious.. everything was fresh. We watched them prep and cook which was a super plus for us. The staff was friendly and answered all our questions. The seasoning for the lobster roll was awesome. Our fried snapper was also seasoned and battered perfectly. A must stop for us from now on at the Citadel. Will be back for more. Looking forward to fried Hawg Snapper

The crab cake! So delicious, so much crab and so tasty: seasoned right and full of flavor. Oysters were excellent and very fresh. Fried whole snapper was delicious with the tangy and spicy sauce. Definitely and absolutely recommend.

Have you ever eating during the dinner but already want to come back again ? It is how good the fried fish and sashimi that I try in this place . I’m traveling over 3 day but I have spend 2 nite here for trying all the tasty food . The chef recommended is the best . The red snapper is well seasoning 🧂 . The sashimi is so fresh . It is the best I ever try in US . The oyster collection is great too . So yummy. Totally hidden 💎 gems!! Don’t just eat at Miami Beach 🏖️ side only . You will be surprised ! They did such amazing job !

Chef Curtis takes fresh seafood to the next level. I’ve never felt so welcomed as a guest. He doesn’t just provide a meal, but an EXPERIENCE. Highly recommended 😚👌🏼

Get the crudo! Don't ask what the fish is (unless you're allergic or picky). Whatever fish is, it's going to be fresh, simplistically prepared, and delicious. I go to The Citadel pretty frequently for trivia. I get the crudo everytime I go. Every. Time. I've had other things from here, too, like the New England clam chowder, lobster roll, and oysters. They're all delicious too.

Incredible little place in the citadel food market. We are from Boston and thought this was the best clam chowder we've ever had! The homemade key lime pie was wonderful too. We will be back!

Recently decided to try a new place and this restaurant looked to have what I wanted. It's in a large open area with numerous restaurants to choose from. The vibe was perfect, the classic music played and the seating areas were clean and comfortable. Metered parking was just out front or in the back. There's even a bar there for your convenience. I was in the mood for the lobster roll and it definitely did not disappoint. Although it was slightly pricey ($35) it was delicious. The roll was hot and had fresh lobster. The only reason why I'm not giving it 5 stars is because I really didn't like the chips because they had a vinegar taste to it and it didn't come with a pickle. I'd prefer a dill pickle and French fries with my lobster roll. I also ordered the grouper sandwich which was sooo good! Could've been slightly cheaper being that again it came with the same chips. The bread was perfect, the fish was cooked well and the sauce made out of pickles was my favorite part! I'll definitely return to try other items on the menu if I happen to be in the area.

Okay definitely my new fav oyster spot. The oysters where fresh and filled with flavor. The shrimp where good but they were small but definitely fried perfectly. Try this spot and thank me later. #justdelish

Inside The citadel on the East entrance you'll find the smiles and heart of this place. I was craving Rockefeller oysters and the sweet lady (Vernon?) said I would like these better and boy was she right! The grilled to perfection in garlic sauce the only thing I'd prefer is bigger oysters (these are west coast oysters) and maybe another 6 more lol. It definitely filled my craving but I'm in a food hall so there's so much more to eat. ;) The lobster roll looks delicious so maybe I'll get that next.

Second time coming to Citadel and decided to try this place. Located inside the a citadel so you can either use the parking they have available on property which you pay in app, or street parking that's also handled the same way. Since it is inside Citadel, it maintains the same ambiance of this upgraded food hall with ton of options. Rather loud and casual inside. *Tried all of their oysters which were all delicious and fresh. *Their lobster roll, buttered. I do prefer i went the mayo route because the butter was over bearing and it was just too buttered up. *Herb Cesar was good. Overall not extremely impressed with this place but i guess if you're in the area, want seafood it's not a bad choice.

The lobster roll is amazing & so are the oysters. This is a definite must try when you're upstairs at The Key rooftop bar, they have a killer piña colada.

Lobster roll was amazingl. Shrimp tacos was good also. Need to go back and try the whole snapper. Experience was cool.

Had the Lobster Roll hot and it was amazing. The reason for the 3 stars and not 5 is because their Clam chowder tasted off and had literally only 3 little pieces of what seemed like clams. All hot soup and potatoes. So $40 dollars for those 2 was a little high but if it's good I don't mind. So I went to see if they can remedy the soup by maybe changing to a chiopino but unfortunately they said they couldn't do anything. It's little things like this that keep patrons coming back. Not only the food but customer service. I won't be back to this place as customers aren't priority. I guess it's their policy because the staff was nice. But replacing a soup that cost them maybe $3 dollars. Should. Lot be an issue.

After reading about this spot in Infatuation Miami (and being a huge fan of The Citadel), I knew I had to check it out! I ordered the fried oyster sandwich, which comes with homemade salt & vinegar chips (the salt & vinegar taste is very subtle). The sandwich was HUGE and tasted very fresh. The food does take a bit to come out, but it's because everything is made to order and perfection takes time, after all. Like a dummy, I forgot to order the clam chowder, but honestly I was stuffed after the sandwich. My friends went with the lobster roll and they loved it as well. Very simple - lobster mixed with hot butter on a roll. The service was friendly. Since this is in The Citadel, you can park in the lot in the back or find any street parking nearby.

Absolutely delicious! I ordered through Uber eats and the food arrived HOT and fresh! I got the fish tacos, buttered potatoes and clam chowder. The fish in the fish tacos was so fresh and tasty it didn't need much else but the addition of the crema, pico and lime was perfect. The spicy sauce that came with the tacos was good but it was hot as the devil's toe nails. Anyway the salted potatoes were nice and hot and perfectly salted. Finally, that clam chowder was so yummy! It was very flavorful and hearty and the slice of crusty bread was the perfect sidekick! I will definitely be going to enjoy this place in person next time!

I absolutely love this place. Whenever I can sneak in a lunch this is one of my go to places!!! I usually get the Hot Buttered Lobster Roll with chives and old bay seasoning. It is just perfect... Patrick always greets you with a smile :-) & A'Lonna was an absolute joy... It was so nice to see these two work with pride!! Can't wait to visit again really soon!!!

Very underrated. Doesn't have a ton of publicity or recognition but their fish sandwiches on sourdough are very good. It's pricey for a sit down and eat food hall experience but the quality and taste is there to warrant multiple visits. I've had the lobster roll, it's a 10. The grouper sandwich is also a 10. The chips it comes with are tasty but they were a little stale. For this price I would prefer that it includes actual fries. Regardless, they execute what they do well. I've heard their oysters are also delicious but have not tried that yet.

Ok so I ordered the fish tacos... the menu didn't specify that they were extremely spicy, like I took a bite and couldn't eat anymore type of spicy. I went back to the cashier and he rudely stated that they don't specify anything in the menu because it's up to the costumer to ask questions. How i'm I supposed to guess that these are extremely spicy? I told him to take a look at other menus at The Citadel and he could easily spot a hot pepper figure next to the spicy dishes they serve! It's not that hard and way easier than letting costumers do the guessing! His attitude was very off putting so I just left my plate, lost my money and ordered elsewhere! I wouldn't recommend this spot at all

I stumbled upon this as a fluke. Wow, am I glad I did. The seafood was amazingly fresh. The clam chowder was on point with great flavor and skin on potatoes. The shrimp cocktail was so fresh. The cocktail sauce was perfectly spicy. That lobster roll was to remember. The texture and taste will make comehIgpec-wozcor-1bogvo back soon. All the breads were amazing as well.

Was a bit skeptical. But one of the best places in the citadel. The oysters were 10/10 very fresh and perfectly shucked. Clam belly's were perfectly fried. Only thing is they don't have horseradish.

Superior quality, delicious fresh seafood. Legitimate lump meat crab cakes. The crab meat is still fully intact out of the shell, not shredded and mixed with filling. Perfect MD style taste. The shrimp cocktail - large generous shrimp was fully clean, tailed removed, ready to eat. Just perfectly delicious seafood all around.
