A Three-Floor Nightclub With Cuban Food Is Coming to LoDo | Eater Denver

"Hoping to open on Market Street by May, Miami Vibez will be a three-story nightclub created by Jonathon Stevens and Rebecca Buch that combines a beachy Miami vibe with Cuban-American food for lunch and dinner. The couple—who met in Florida and now live in Colorado—say Denver lacks a high-energy, artistic, and sophisticated themed nightclub, so Miami Vibez will be geared toward the 30- to 44-year-old crowd: a first-floor lounge will play “chill music” and serve food and cocktails inside a beach setting; the second floor will feature a “high-energy, neon, bright, art-deco” dance floor with sub-genre EDM as well as top 40; and the third floor will be a pink-and-gold throwback to ’80s Miami with DJs spinning rock and hip-hop records. They are raising funds via Kickstarter, say they’re on track for a May opening, and will release the exact Market Street location after signing the lease." - Josie Sexton

The manager and customer service was sub par to say the least. The manager had a very nasty attitude and had poor people skills. I went on a Thursday night to get out the house and get a good drink and vibe. After entering and being seated while relatively empty, I was ignored by the waitress and had to go to the bar for my drinks and hookah. A little Inconvenient but not a problem at all. The waitress only approached me to tell me I needed to move as the location I was in was “for groups 3 or more”, I later found out that wasn’t the case. Shortly after I was asked to move a couple sat in the same location I just left. Again, weird but not an issue. Later in the night, after being ignored by the waitress in the empty venue, I ordered another hookah from the bartender/ manager. After 35 minutes of waiting I went to the bar to check on my hookah. She then told me there were other orders ahead of me and that mine should be coming soon. After waiting another 10-15 minutes I went to check on it again. At that point she proceeded to tell me the waitress gave my hookah refill to another couple because I had “moved seats”. I explained to the manager that it was her employee that asked me to move and that I had been waiting over 45 minutes for my hookah. The manager then said “well I didn’t tell you to move” and walked away. Even though I had already paid, I told her it’s ok and to keep the hookah and the money and left. This place won’t see another dime from me. Very unprofessional and rude establishment. Would recommend finding venue with more customer friendly service.

Disappointed — Underage Kids Allowed Inside I went to Miami Vibes expecting a fun, adult night out, but what I saw was really disappointing. The club was allowing underage kids inside, and there didn’t seem to be any proper ID checking at the door. It completely ruined the atmosphere for those of us who came expecting a mature, 21+ crowd. There were several people who clearly looked underage drinking and partying like it was no issue. When concerns were brought up, the staff didn’t seem to take it seriously at all. For a place that promotes a “grown and sexy” vibe, this was unacceptable. If you’re looking for a real adult nightlife experience, this is not the spot. The management needs to do better about enforcing age limits and protecting their reputation. Rating: ★☆☆☆☆

Difficult to order hookah, need to replace the staff. Horrible place, any hookah place is better than this one

Bartender was nice but the drinks were not good, tasted like spoiled lemon juice. The brother of the comedian performing that night aggressively offered my friends and I drinks. Told us to put our drinks (that were full) down, threw his card onto the table, and persisted even after we said no thank you. One of us was touched on the shoulder and made very uncomfortable, we asked him to leave and he still persisted. Explained that he had a wife and would never go after one of us. I feel bad for his wife. We had to go get security and they still allowed him to stay. He started to buy us drinks any way and we left. Very disappointing experience especially since we were there on a birthday. Will never go back.

Service was horrible. The lady that sold the hookah did not come back to us. She told us that we did not tip her even though we did. How is that relevant to what i asked for. Also asked our waiter to get her for our new coals. Asked her twice. She lied and never got our new coals. Horrible all the way around.

I contacted them a week before yesterday to reserve seats for my husband’s birthday. It was super easy to get info and I got fast responses! The actual venue is clean, organized, and an open layout. Our server (Gabby) was so friendly and checked on us frequently. Wink (one of the ambassadors) also regularly checked on us and gave recommendations. We got the Flirty 730 and you cannot taste the alcohol AT ALL even though it had plenty of liquor! And that’s coming from someone who thinks all drinks taste bitter. The music was a good mix of R&B, throwbacks, Hip Hop, and Afro beats. All in all an amazing vibe. Would def recommend following their IG page because they post flyers and event info. For parking, there are parking lots in the middle of the street

Yelp
Miami Vybz is such a great place to dance and chill at for a vibrant evening. The staff are always great and welcoming. Friday nights are my absolute favorite to go. The DJ is great, and the overall vibes are great on Fridays. The crowd and the general public that come in are awesome go getters! I love the ambiance. That's what caught my eye the first time I came into Miami Vybz. I loved the little pretzels they used to serve as they greeted the tables, but they no longer have that. Other than that, Miami Vybz is a great spot to chill, get out, hear great music, and dance if you want to.

Yelp
If you aren't from the area you wouldn't know what you are getting into. Very overpriced for what you get and the venue is very basic for the prices paid. Management can be very rude and some workers make it clear they don't want to be there. Don't recommend.
