Miami Watersports: Sailing Center

We love renting sailboats, windsurfing boards and paddle boards from Miami Watersports. We’ve been using them for years and we have fun every single time. Most recently, my son rented a windsurfing board and the wind was great- he had a blast!

We rented from them today and was a little cautious since we saw all the bad reviews. Anouk (the very sweet girl) that was working today warned me that the wind might make things harder to get back and be cautious of our hour rental. Elian the guy that helped us was also friendly and there was another young guy named Adam that helped us with our boat. All very friendly and very accommodating!! It’s expensive but it’s worth it to be out on the waters and the simplicity of sailing a hobie cat.

I’ve lived in SoFl my entire life. This was my first time taking advantage of water sport activities the sailing center has to offer and it was fun! Manuel and Rogelio were great instructors and made me feel excited and as if the activities would be great even for first timers. If you're in the area and want to celebrate a bday or have a fun date, take advantage of Miami Watersports activities.

does anyone knows if kayaking or sailing is safe? or are you surrounded by jetskis? the robot at miami watersports did not know.

Great place for sail rentals. Nice and friendly staff, and they gave a few helpful pointers. Be mindful, the sail is a hobie cat and depending on the wind could take a little time to return. Fantastic way to get out, enjoy the fresh air, and relax on the water.

Doing it through Groupon looks like an amazing deal, but at the end of the day, you're still getting charged big fees which ultimately only saves you $14 vs just doing it directly when you get there. Was about $311 for 2 people after having them match the "supposably" 2 for $99 deal on Groupon. This is because of aforementioned fees they still charge you. Don't tip when you buy tickets. You assume it goes to the people driving and assisting on the boat, but it doesn't. On another note, Tom, the captain, and Anuk, the helper, were stellar. Tom is funny as hell and Anuk is a joy to be around. They made the whole thing 10x better, when the actual parasailing is already a once in a lifetime experience, and really amazing. The experience itself was really fun. Overall, Tom and Anuk get a 5/5. The 1 star off is for the cost of it and how they hide the fees through Groupon.

We had a great time celebrating a birthday with Miami Watersports. Manuel and Rogelio were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Rogelio was a great teacher and taught me how to sail their catamarans in only 30 minutes. The guys are very patient and friendly and the spot is in a great location. We would definitely go back and try more activities.

We had a blast on the jet skis. The instructor was great and we stayed out for about an hour on the water in great weather. The issue was the credit card overcharge and the photo package not being available. It was sold but at the end of the experience, none of the photos could be salvaged from the SD card. Ironically, we listened as the same story was told to customers after their sessions and this happened on every camera they owned. It sounds really scammy.

I had a blast on this activity. Pierre & Chris were a wonderful crew! The music was great, they were professional yet kept it fun. They cared about our safety above all else and made our time a memorable one!

We had a parasailing with photography option booked for my daughter, that visits from out of the country,the parasailing were great, Captain Thomas made it fun. I don't recommend the "professional photos" it was poor quality and you can hardly make out my daughter, just a speckle in the air, I took a few pics with my I-Phone and which came out much better, but I was hoping to get good quality pictures as shown on the website, still waiting to hear back from Ana will update my review when resolved.

Nastiest people I've ever met, they wouldn't even let us use a porta potty. The entire staff is terrible

We went parasailing for the first time. What a wonderful experience! They really made it a lot of fun for everyone on board. We will be back next year for some new adventures with them!

So much fun! My group of 3 went parasailing with our "host" Pierre and his driver, I forgot his name... oops. They were both so nice and made us comfortable and explained directions efficiently and simple. The amount of time that you're up there is perfect and if you don't want to get wet, you can ask to just put your feet in the water. I do recommend a case for you phone because it gave my friends anxiety that they'd drop their phone but it was fine. And I also recommend that you get pictures, it'll make the experience more memorable. I'd definitely do parasailing again or even their jet skii rentals.

This was soo much fun!!! The staff was awesome Andrew was our captain for tubing and he made our experience beyond memorable also Nando who helped us prior to and after each part (tubing, parasailing, &jet skis) was very helpful as well. I got a bad review from a friend prior to coming but they far exceeded my expectations. We'll be back again for sure!!!!
