That was special... went here with my son for lunch and it was a great overall experience. Love the modern decor and the staff is super friendly and helpful... we had the combo aperizer with beef and two different kinds of pickles. The fried mushroom with peppercorn powder was right up my ally but my son wasn't a fan, too dry and mushroomy. The daicon pickle was the best I've ever had. My son had the dandan noodles which were a delicious flavor bomb and I had the pork dumplings that came in a spicy red sauce. So good I'm already looking forward to coming back for more...

This was my first time visiting this Mian location (I’ve only been to their other spots in Los Angeles before), and I was really impressed by how refined the flavors are here. The vegetables were especially fresh and served warm, and the seasoning was perfectly balanced and delicious. The menu also offers options that other branches don’t have, which makes the food here feel more unique and refined. Even though it’s the same brand, the level of quality here feels much higher. I really love this place, and the environment is also very clean. Highly recommended!

Small restaurant that serves spicy noodle dishes. Came on an extremely busy Friday night in September, waitlist at the restaurant itself, up to 30 minutes wait. Place is quite noisy just from conversations, no TV or music. It’s the hard surfaces bouncing the sounds. I only saw two wait staff, they both were so busy and it was difficult getting their attention for things like more water or napkins. QR code for ordering straight to the kitchen. Very quick turnaround for dishes to be served. Spice levels customized to your liking. I got the sliced intestines with noodles mild spice: the broth is flavorful without the usual funk from offal cuts. Sliced cold cucumber and wood ear mushrooms are great accompaniments to the meal. Wontons in chili oil are also tasty.

Delicious food. They unfortunately don’t have paper Menus only a scan at the table QR code. That was originally off putting since only one person at the table had a phone in our group- but the food more than made up for it. Authentic cuisine.

Tasty food, nice atmosphere. The inside of the restaurant is pretty clean, and the decorations made the whole place feel welcoming. There's a big TV that showed how their food was made, getting customers riled up to eat good food. Smart choice. Ordering is convenient because all you had to do was scan the QR codes on the table to browse and make any adjustments necessary. Lemon water is provided in a pitcher on the table. We ordered popcorn chicken as an appetizer. Nice crunch, juicy meat, and good flavor. I ordered the Mapo Tofu Noodles with meat. Delicious and filling with good spice. Overall, I had a great experience and I highly recommend this place if you're in the mood for some delicious authentic Chinese food.

Chicken wontons and the spicy beef noodle are pretty popular here. It's Northern style noodles so it's not the same as Taiwanese beef noodle in case that's what you're lol for. Good location with bunch of other great food choices. Overall not bad for a noodle stop.

Since today is a special day, I wanted to eat somewhere good. I've decided on Mian to meet up w a couple of associates for lunch and to have noodles to signify & celebrate "long life." I got the Spicy Beef Noodle (extra spicy) and my companions got Chicken Dumpling Soup and Beef Noodle soup. We also got the fried oyster mushroom appetizer which happens to be vegetarian and super fire!! Yummm!!! All our soups were so delicious and heart warming. Mian has the best quality noodles I've ever had!! I love Mian noodles and frequently go to the San Gabriel location. This Mian in Artesia is just as good and the quality is also as excellent as the San Gabriel location... which tells me that the Mian brand is consistently fire!! Highly recommend Mian if you're craving good quality noodles. Mian is my first love when it comes to authentic, fresh noodles. Extremely happy w today's lunch!!

Mian might set the standard for noodle. Both dishes we ate had phenomenal noodle. The Chengdu Zajiang is the showstopper and a must-get, flavor profile must just ridiculous throughout the dish a top of a phenomenal noodle. This is the 5 star dish that earns a 5 star review. It will leave your palate tingling and wanting more. The Spicy Beef is good but not something that having me running back. It did not pack as much flavor as the Chengdu but I will give points for an excellent prep on the beef - I don't think I've ever had a beef soup with beef cooked to a pink center (you can see it in my photo). I'd rate this dish a 4 just on a pure tastiness scale, I'd try something else next time for sure. We also had the cucumber salad which was fantastic. Go get some Mian!

I'm going to start this review with the conclusion...this place is excellent and you won't be disappointed!!! Ok, so now the details. We came middle of the week, on a slower day. The staff were friendly and greeted us right away. They were also accommodating as we had a child with us who needed a high chair. We had 4 adults, a toddler and we ate family style so we were able to try quite a few items. We had 2 orders of spicy beef noodles, tomato and beef stew noodles, chengdu noodles, pork pot stickers, popcorn chicken, and a side of rice. Everything was excellent, even down to the side of rice (which shouldn't be a big deal, but even that exceeded expectations). The spicy noodles were perfect at medium heat, full of flavor and depth. The chicken was crispy and flavorful. The pot stickers were spicy, but super yummy. And the Chengdu noodles were actually the show stopper, full of flavor and character, they are a must! So don't waste any time. Stop by the next time you're in the area and you're going to have a great time!

I've been to this cerritos location many times and it is one of my favorite noodle places. The service here is always exceptional and the place is well lit and cozy. I always get the spicy beef noodles, but they also have many other noodles dishes to try. They also have a great selection of appetizers. Two of my favorites are the fried chicken and dumplings. The chicken is well spiced and crispy. Meanwhile, the dumplings have a chewy skin and packed with meat on the inside. I would definitely recommend you try this location out. Plus, the 7miles tea shop next store is awesome for desserts!

The service is average, not rude, not excellent. If you are looking for a place for just a quick bite, this is it. The food choices are limited, more for people who love spicy food.

My friend recommended this place so I decided to order take out, as the inside dining area was full. Nevertheless, the food tasted AMAZING! Melt-in-your-mouth tasty. The pork dumplings covered in the chili oil was just perfect for the tastebuds; not too spicy with a lil sweetness to it. The chengdu zajiang noodles was delicious as well with a very meaty flavor! Loved the presentation and how they packed my order. As shown in my pics, the chengdu zajiang noodles were separated so that you can join them yourself. Same with the dumplings and chili oil. Ordered in person and sat down in their waiting area/couch and it didn't take long at all, about 10 mins until it was ready. I enjoyed people watching as I waited, the vibe inside felt very home-y and welcoming like it was one big family. So good I'm already craving another round!

I came here yesterday and was welcomed by the really nice server. It seems like he was the only server there but his service was stellar! He made sure everything came out promptly and was so kind and polite even when the restaurant was getting busy. We ordered the fried Sichuan chicken, beef noodle soup, cucumbers, and chicken fried rice. We loved the beef noodle soup and would highly recommend it. The cucumber appetizer was also good for its price. I think the chicken dishes were just okay but I would definitely be back to try more dishes. This place has great service and affordable Chinese dishes!

Very sad to see this restaurant go under new management. As soon as I walked in, I noticed the restaurant felt different. I asked the lady right away if they got a new owner and she asked me how I knew.... It's a different vibe when you walk in. The front desk is gone, they put a drink fridge in the corner of the restaurant. I used to be greeted by the cheerful waiters who all knew me and my order. During my visit, there was only 1 waitress (who is the owners sister). I agree with the other 1 star reviews. There is almost no service now. I had to continuously flag her down and even asked for our check a few times since we never got it and sat there waiting. She kept explaining to me that they let go all of the previous employees to "make the restaurant better." But in my honest opinion, it was way worse where I don't see myself coming back. Food wise: my go to order is the tomato beef noodle soup. The previous waiters all know I hate cilantro. I even told the waitress make sure there is not cilantro in any of my food...... well, they put cilantro in my noodles and I was very annoyed. The soup also had SO MUCH OIL floating at the top. I had to scoop it out into another bowl. Fries-- they cut the portion to half of what it used to be. Now it's in a super small bowl. Also for the tip, I think it's interesting to see that they expect 18% when there is no service and you order yourself via QR code on your phone from your seat. At least before, the waiters would always check in on our dining experience to see if I needed anything, refill my water, bring extra napkins, etc... now, expect nothing. Overall super bummed to see this place go downhill.

We come to this restaurant very often but it's the first time I write something. All their dishes are delicious especially the spicy dishes. Now that my baby can eat on it own, I request served my tomato beef noodle dish to be separate all the ingredients, so that I could share some unsalted food with my baby. It's a bit of a picky request, but they were very accommodating and happy to help me and my baby's needs (like the picture shows I already put some food in the soup before I took the picture). We'll continue to eat here. We love this restaurant.

Stopped by for lunch and was warmly greeted by the employees. Service was attentive and the inside is cozy and clean. Ordered the cucumbers, beef noodle soup, crispy pork potstickers, and minced meat and mapo tofu over rice. My favorites were the beef noodle soup and cucumbers. Both were so flavorful and delicious. The crispy pork potstickers had an amazing crunch and chewiness to them but wasn't a huge fan of the inside filling. Would come back!!

My whole life I've been obsessed with zhajiangmein. So much so that it's one of my go to home recipes I've been making for decades and I always order it when it's on a restaurant menu, even if it is missing a lot of key ingredients. That said, Mian's sichuan version (think more spicy and savory than sweet) is one of the absolute best I've ever eaten, with no hyperbole. It's super unique and you can adjust the level of mala spice in it. It's a must when visiting Mian, the noodle shop project from James Beard nominated chef Tony Xu of the famous Chengdu Taste. I can't handle spices usually but the spices are so well done here (the perfect combo) that I can finally experience how heat brings more flavor without feeling like I'm dying. Tip: order your ZJM as mild if you're apice sensitive like me. Anothet tip: order their cooling mung bean drink and take sips between bites of food bc the mala spices really add up! I also tried their you tiao (no soy milk available unfortunately), beef noodle soup, and their sichuan style dumplings. Everything was amazing and I'm craving them all again just writing this review. Dining room is new and clean and service was great.

We had to evacuate from Hollywood due to the wildfires and came here for dinner near our hotel and it absolutely delivered and put a smile on our faces. The Dan Dan Noodles were the BEST I've ever had, the spicy beef soup, the pork dumplings -- everything is delicious! And CeCe, the beautiful owner, was so generous and boxed up some to go food "on the house". Will definitely try the other Mians!

Mian beef noodle soup is one of our favorites. Have only been to one other location in Vegas. This place was very busy during mealtimes. Didn't see fresh noodles being made in the kitchen during my visit, unlike the Las Vegas location where they seem to make them nonstop. But the food was still good and fresh. Order and pay on your phone after scanning the QR code at your table to help streamline service.

Came here for dinner on a Friday night before a movie date and was so impressed. We were easily able to find a seat and get our order going. Food was extremely tasty, came out quickly, and was affordable! Staff were very helpful in guiding us through the menu and ordering process.

I read a lot of review about the chicken then I decide to try it. I would say the chicken is good only the skin. The meat inside kinda hard. The spare rib noodle is okay (just okay). For the service, they point the finger where to sit then bring the water and never come back. I have to figure it out how to order by myself. They can just tell me a few word but they don't. I don't have a problem to give a tip but I don't feel any service besides they serve me a food. Nothing impressed.

Located in a busy plaza, Mian offers numbing spicy noodle dishes. We came here on a Saturday for lunch and were seated without waiting. The menu is available online via QR code and you can place your order using the website. We had some questions about the menu, so the waiter thorough in his responses and even helped us place our order. Fried Mushroom (5/5) - think popcorn chicken but with mushroom instead of chicken. Delicious. Sichaun Hot & Sour Noodles (3/5) - The noodle soup came with thin noodles and a fried egg. The soup lacked some depth and was not vinegary enough for me. Mapo Tofu noodles (vegan) (4/5) - This dish uses thick chewy noodles topped with mapo tofu and a small handful of blanched bok choy. Pork Dumplings (5/5) - The savory sweet dumpling sauce is what made this dish stand out. The dumpling wrappers were slightly falling apart but were still enjoyed with the sauce. Overall, the service was fantastic and the meal was filling and tasty. I would recommend ordering spicy because the medium wasn't spicy enough for us and we had to ask for a side of chili oil.

Wanted to try a new place and decided to check this spot out. The interior was really cute! The table had a little border around it which was nice not to spill anything, but we forgot about it and kinda spilt stuff anyway lol. The service was also great. The server explained to us what people usually get, the different food, and a little description for the popular items. I was so surprised by how cheap the sides were! I thought the portions would be small, but it was a lot bigger than expected. APPETIZERS The pumpkin muffins were really good! I liked the mochi texture inside. It was surprising but delicious. The steamed egg was also really good! I liked the flavor. The fries were okay, not my cup of tea because the Szechuan was burning my tongue, but my friend liked it a lot. The fried mushrooms were also a hit! The pork dumplings were really different. I liked the sauce a lot- definitely on the sweet side. I want to try the chili oil one next. My friends also got the noodle dishes and the portions were huge! Definitely worth it. I would definitely recommend!

The food is delicious, tremendous noodles and broth flavor. Noodles are homemade. I have come to this place 3 times in the last week and will continue to come back. I highly recommend it.

It is a delicious restaurant. If you order 'extra spicy,' it will be too hot, so if you don't really enjoy very spicy food, 'spicy' will be sufficiently hot.

Service was impeccable at this restaurant. Waitress was extremely attentive and was able to answer all our questions about the menu. Food was great and came out quite quickly. I like how at this place you order through your phone using the QR code and they have pictures of the food item on the menu too. Would come again!

Literally so delicious!!!!! I love the texture of the rice noodles and how nice and deep the broth is. And the fluffy steamed eggs with the minced meat was amazing! Amazing service and nice clean and open space.

I can't believe I've missed out on this place until now. This casual restaurant is unassuming but does not disappoint. The dishes are delicious and so flavorful! Cici, the owner, is so friendly and welcoming. This is a must try and we will definitely be back to try more.

The handmade noodles at this place were SO good and chewy for both their signature dish (chengdu zhajiangmian) and spicy beef noodle soup. Portion sizes were great and I had leftovers. I usually don't order dumplings or wontons at restaurants but we ordered the hot and sour chaoshou and it was so fresh, so meaty, and so delicious, especially in the hot and sour soup! My husband would not stop raving about how good the food was for the entire time we were there. The service was quick even on a Saturday evening and helpful. The restaurant is clean and is a nice spot for a nice-casual meal or date. My only reservation for this place was that I thought the noodle dishes didn't have as deep a flavor profile as I had expected, but I did love the Szechuan pepper. I would definitely come back though, no hesitation!

Unfortunately, a recent visit reveal a disturbing decline in both the management and customer service, overshadowing the restaurant's culinary reputation. Diners are met with inattentive and indifferent staff. Requests for basic service are either ignored or met with noticeable delays. During this particularly frustrating visit, a server casually confirmed that the restaurant recently underwent a management change--a shift that seems to have ushered in a new era of carelessness and decline. A few customers had to walk outside or stand near the register to get the attention of any server. The most alarming incident involved an employee vaping in the dining area, a shocking breach of health standards and a clear sign of the management's lax attitude toward professionalism. A cacophony of loud club music fills the space, turning what should be a pleasant meal into an ordeal. While the food maintains a semblance of its former glory, it's impossible to enjoy it amid the chaos and disarray. Potential customers should be aware: Mian is no longer the inviting, well-managed establishment it once was. With its current management issues and unprofessional staff behavior, dining here is a risk not worth taking.

I had wanted to try a different restaurant in the area, but it wasn't open, so I entered dumplings in my Yelp search, and Mian for the bill. It was a quiet Saturday, so our food came out very quickly and the service was attentive and friendly. We had the Chengdu Zajiang noodles as recommended by our waiter and absolutely loved them. We also had the fried mushrooms, which we then put in the empty noodle bowl because we just couldn't get enough of that delicious sauce 10/10. Now to the dumplings. They were not soup dumplings, but more like wontons/ We had the chili oil chaoshou, which were incredible-again the sauce really made it. 10/10 Another dish were the pork dumplings, I loved them, my daughter preferred the wontons so 9/10. Dumplings and wontons were what you would expect filling wise, but the sauces at mild spicy made it incredible. The restaurant itself, had simple wooden tables, and a minimalist aesthetic. The bathroom sink could use a scrubbing, but wasn't offensive. Anyway, that's not where we're spending time. I was a little surprised we weren't offered tea, so we just had the carafe of water that the waiter brought out. Next time I will order tea. There will be a next time, especially with these reasonable prices.

Ordered the short rib noodle soup at medium (level 2) spice and it didn't disappoint. The meat and noodles were nicely cooked and the fresh bok choy was a good compliment. Level 2 spice is just enough to give a good kick, but wouldn't recommend level 2 and 3 for casual spice enjoyers. Our server was attentive and checked on us at good intervals despite being the only person on the floor as the place went from empty to completely full for a lunch rush. Ambiance is very casual, modern, well lit and even when the place was full it wasn't very loud inside. I will definitely be back.

This place was pretty good! I was doubting it since I haven't found a place with decent beef noodle soup, but I would def come back here again. I also highly recommend the steamed egg, it had ground beef on it which gave it a lot of flavor.

Came here with my dad and was so disappointed. My dad can't eat too spicy so we ordered a mild spicy pickled beef noodle soup. For myself, I ordered a medium spicy beef noodle soup. When my dad tasted his noodles, it was like a level 3 spicy. My own spicy beef noodle soup wasn't spicy enough. Both soups lacked flavor but the biggest problem was my dad's noodle soup being way too spicy. I showed the server that I ordered mild for my dad and wanted solutions. All I got was a brief "sorry" that didn't even seem genuine. We also had to flag down the servers about 4 times since they weren't attentive. They charged us for the noodles that my dad wasn't even able to eat and we just won't be coming back.

I've had Szechuan hotpot but I've really never been for a Szechuan noodle soup type restaurant. And now I can't believe it took to so long to try it out. I love this style food and will for sure put this style food on my regular rotation. Everything is so tasty and flavor punch in your face. I love it. Can't wait to try other restaurant like this.

Mian's food was delicious! You scan the menu with your phone and order. We ordered the spicy radish (3/5), fried mushrooms (4/5), steam egg (10/5!), prom dumplings medium spicy (4/5) and the spicy beef noodle soup (5/5!) Service was quick and pleasant.

Order off a QR code, the waiters are attentive and work fast. Pretty busy but not full with waiting line on a weekend night. Szechuan foods but pretty average imo Fried chicken was dry, crispy outside, lots of flavoring to the point it was salty Noodle soup has tender meat, good noodle bounce/chew, moderate flavoring. Overall ok but there were things that were lacking in each dish. Not impressed considering all the locations they have.

Was amazing , been here twice now and customer service is top notch! Parking lot can get busy but even on a Saturday night i was able to find parking, so don't worry! Food was amazing ! And the ambiance felt very nice open and bright!

So far so good!!! I was so excited to try this spot!!!! The spicy fungus is very spicy indeed! But it's so good. We ordered a bunch of noodles. I can already see other people's orders arrived and I can't wait to try ours will update review Update: our server Owen was awesome my husband loved the spicy fungus, I was warned it's the spiciest among the small appetizers but I really wanted to try it. The flavor was so good. It was tangy, garlicky and spicy! I was sweating and tearing up. Our server was so attentive and checked on me a lot. He gave me a mung bean drink which helped a lot (like magic) We enjoyed everything! The seaweed was sweet like (pickle) I ate it with rice even. The chili oil dumplings were so good. The oil stood out, it was very fragrant and dumplings had a juicy filling. My noodles! We came here for this I had the traditional spicy beef one in mild spice and another dry noodle. It was both very different and very tasty. The noodles had perfect bite, firm but bouncy. My beef can be a little more tender though. I would definitely return! We were so happy we tried this place today.

Just Delicious. We order chicken soup and spicy beef soup and we were delighted. The sesame balls were pretty good too. The staff was very attentive and helpful. Came here on a Saturday evening. Was busy enough but we were able to get a table for 5 right away. The services was great, food was excellent, and prices were very good. We had the steamed eggs, salt and pepper mushrooms, and 3 bowls of noodles. It was all excellent and we can't wait to go back.

I tried their tomato beef noodle soup and it was super flavorful! It'd probably be best to do family style if you're with a group of people, but if there's just two of you, the size of their noodle soups is good to order for each person. The broth was very flavorful and it hit the spot, also not too pricey.

Really good. Ordered food to go of the vegan mapo tofu on noodles, crispy shrimp, crispy cucumbers, sweet & sour seaweed. All taste so yummy. All food can feed two people. Definitely a must to come here for szechuan style food.

I exclaimed, as we delved into the noodles, each strand a reflection of MIAN's culinary powers, with broth as rejuvenating as a visit to the Pokémon Center. Bulbasaur, ever the explorer, urged us towards the garden of appetizers and snacks, each dish unveiling new flavors as if discovering new Pokémon in the wild. It was like earning Gym Badges, but for our palates, with every appetizer a new win. In this modern-day Poké Stop, service was swift as a Pikachu's Thunderbolt, with servers navigating our orders with the ease of a Pokémon Professor. Their guidance through the menu was a mix of Professor Oak's wisdom and the thrill of setting out from Pallet Town on a new adventure. The dining experience became a whirlwind of action, as if facing multiple Pokémon in the wild, each dish a new battle. From the savory clash of the noodle soup to the swift strike of the excellent appetizers and snacks, every bite was a Charged Attack of flavor. We had the crispy chicken, beef noodle soup, and cucumber appetizer. I can't get over how good everything was. The crispy chicken was, you guessed it, crispy. But packed with flavor, juicy, and the slaw and spicy seasoning on the side complimented it perfectly. I ordered the spicy beef noodle soup medium and it was spectacular. There were generous portions of tender beef, nicely cooked thin noodles, and the broth was rich with the perfect amount of heat. Our server was super attentive and helpful in suggesting what to eat and what the levels of spice are like. We ordered using the QR code on the table, but interacted frequently with the server as he confirmed our order and ensured we had everything we needed.

Service has become terrible under the new management. Ambiance has changed to a lounge vibe with really loud music. Staff (maybe their friends) were all huddled together at a table chatting with their drinks while customers sat with little to no interaction from the person waiting tables. Sad to see this place go downhill especially since the food & service were really good under the previous ownership.

The steamed egg dish had a thick layer of oil resting on top which seemed very excessive and could have been taken out.

Woooow! I stumbled upon this place on accident and I'm so happy that I did. Someone said their pork dumplings is to dieeee for- I definitely AGREEE!!! Soooo good! And the portions are pretty big too! We also got the spicy beef noodle and the crispy chicken which was also good! But to top it off, their customers service is A1! Owen and Mandy is amazing ! So attentive and just awesome over all. By the way, that chili sauce on their dumplings is crackkk!! That thing is bombbbb!!! Will definitely be coming back and already recommending it to my friends

We're looking for something new to try for dinner, I came across this place. I ordered the Zajiang Noodles with a side of broccoli and steamed egg with pork. I ordered the dish medium spicy although I don't think it was spicy at all. I got my food to go and everything was nicely packed in separate containers and the sauce was in a separate container as well so I could control how much heat I had. The whole thing came to about $23 which wasn't bad for him the amount of food that I got. I love Dan Dan noodles although this is similar it's not the same flavoring but similar. It wasn't overly spicy so that was good because I was worried I wouldn't be able to eat it now that I know what the heat level is I know how to order next time. It only took about 15 minutes from the time I ordered to getting my food. I'll definitely order to go again. The steamed egg was different than what I'm used to and had pork ground with it in a savory sauce. It was a little oily for me but it's nice to try different foods sometimes. The workers there were very very nice. It was the end of the night and I was probably one of the last orders they took and they were accommodating and not upset at all that I waited until they were almost closing to come in. It's located in a very busy strip mall big huge parking lot but no place to park cuz everyone was so busy eating and getting teas and coffee. The broccoli side dish was delicious. My noodles with a ground pork we're very tasty. I definitely will eat here again.

PROS: - If you like sichuan flavors, this place will be your jam. - Easy way to order using the QR code. - Employees are very cordial and friendly, especially being an Asian establishment. - Noodles were chewy and bouncy. CONS: - If you don't like sichuan flavors, this isn't the place for you. - Everything just kind of tastes the same. - Parking here can be a pain in the arse.
