I thought the food was pretty good considering it’s located inside a casino (Rivers Casino). The kitchen is open concept and the space is lovely! Service is very good and food comes out lightning quickly! Excellent shrimp fried rice. My lemongrass pork chops lacked lemongrass flavor, but the pickled daikon was delicious! It’s slightly overpriced but that’s to be expected. I’d return!

First time. Sea food Soup was good. We also got chapped lobster 🦞 for 75$ I isn’t like it. Need to take out the meat with my hands and taste wasn’t much great.

Prices are a bit steep but the food I had was fantastic. Got the lobster (gingery) and the snow pea leaves (garlicky). The price per head (ie, just me) was probably higher than necessary since I splurged on the lobster after getting lucky at the roulette table. Was worth it, but the lobster could definitely be split by 2-3 people as the main protein.

Good selection, but our food was a bit bland . Tofu was way too mushy, pepper steak too rubbery. The staff was very, very friendly and attentive though. Prices are definitely above average.

I have been to this restaurant numerous times on my visits to Rivers Casino. The foods that I have tried are pretty good, but I have decided not to return because of poor customer service provided by one of their managers (Calvin). I took my friend (a Vegan) from out of town there on 6/17/23. The selections for Vegans are extremely limited; however he ordered a vegetable dish, which included large pieces of garlic. At the very end of his meal as he was about to consume the last two pieces of garlic, he realized that one was a piece of bone. A couple suggested that we let the server know. He called Calvin over who claimed that since my guest had finished his meal, there was nothing he could do. He even implied that the bone might have come from my plate, even though I wasn't eating anything with bones. Calvin walked away without offering an apology. The couple next to us said they would never eat there again and left. I called Calvin over and let him know that we did not appreciate the unprofessional way he handled the situation and that I would be writing a review. I paid my check in full and didn't mind, but I think an apology was in order.

The noodle was burned. Not tasting good. Overpriced is OK in a casino. But the shrimps were too small. Quality didn't match the price.

My wife and I were in the casino today and then decided to get something to eat for dinner. We walked over to the Chinese noodle restaurant and found the exterior menu board to be inoperable. We went inside the restaurant and we were given a menu by one of the servers. At this time a man named Calvin approached us and rudely told us that if we were not going to sit at a table, we needed to leave. He said the menu board was an IT problem, not his. We have never been treated so poorly and I wanted you to know what happened. We left the casino pretty upset with no dinner. Someone should speak to Calvin and advise him how to treat customers with a bit more respect!!! Shame on him!!

Yelp
SO and I stopped here for lunch while visiting the casino. We were aware of the yelp ratings, so we didn't splurge and went with the lunch special that's offered daily from noon to 2pm. We shared the edamame, wonton soup and general tso's chicken from the special and also ordered the beef lo mein. The edamame was nice to snack on and the soup was tasty and not over-seasoned...very nice appetizers! The chicken, however, tasted a bit like sweet and sour...the baby bokchoy were a nicely added touch. The lo mein was respectable and had a good amount of beef. Overall, the service was fast and the food is a solid 3.5 stars. Don't expect high end fare in this casino. Mian is a good place to eat while you're gambling all day!

Yelp
One star or maybe half for the free drinks(quite weak). Also the place is huge but only one location to redeem tickets and it's in the far back. Staff not friendly at all. This includes the restaurant staff. Not recommended at all.

Yelp
A late-night Jaunt to the Sugar House Casino may not always be a good idea, but hitting up Mian after you've lost (or won) some money is always a good idea! Hottie Esq and I had our fill of video poker/silly slots and we were in search of a post-win snack. We didn't even know that there was an Asian restaurant in the casino and shame on us for not looking around more in the dozen times we've visited. Their menu runs the gamut of all-things-Asian. Ramen, items from the wok, you name it. We split an order of steamed pork dumplings and I decided upon the Seafood Noodle Soup for my main. Esq chose the HO FUN, surely because he had fun with THIS ho :) We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and our server couldn't have been more friendly. Everything was delicious, and not just because we were a few sheets to the wind. We can always detect subpar food, regardless of our boozy state. No knock on Geno's, but I will surely be bypassing that late night option going forward. It's Mian all the way the next time Sugar House is calling us for a lil' sugar.

Yelp
Decided to eat dinner at the Sugar House Casino near our apartment. Took a shot at this little gem. Friendly service with a smile and great recommendations. I had pork dumpling soup with Ho fun noodles. Deliscious and a giant portion too. Endless refills of iced tea and staff hovered over us to do our refills. Food came out in less than 5 minutes. Hot and great.

Yelp
We decided to order pick up Mian for dinner today. We ordered 8 or 9 dishes, including the General Tsos, Pad Thai, and Singapore/Hong Kong Mei Fun. This was the worst Chinese/Asian food I've ever had. I've had Chinese food at some real bad places in Philly, think Temple Star or China Bowl near Temple University - and this place /still/ managed to fall below. But that's not even a fair comparison because Mian charges 16.95 for all of their dishes, including simple ones like General Tsos. I just wish I'd taken pictures of these dishes because they looked like grocery store frozen isle platters. The Hong Kong Mei Fun tasted fishy in the worst possible way. I've made better Pad Thai with spaghetti and pad thai sauce. This place helped solidify my beliefs that 1. you should never buy food at a casino, even with comp dollars. 2. never, ever buy food at a restaurant that sells both Pad Thai, Pho, Ramen, and General Tsos.

Yelp
The dumplings were ok- we tried a bunch of different shumai, etc. All seemed like they were store-bought or of the same quality that we have gotten from the Asian market on Spring Garden St. The service was also just ok. "Turn & burn" type of service that runs out of steam before you're done with dinner. If I'm popping in for some schnacks while gambling- I'd go again. If I'm looking for a more relaxed & attentive dining experience (where they'll refill my water more than once) I'll go somewhere else. The hostess/manager did come around to support the server. I think we expected too much because we went on NYE but it wasn't busy & it just...lacked.

Yelp
General chicken was chewy and not good. Asked for a side of broccoli and they wanted to charge $16. Spring rolls were raw inside. Manager Did nothing to rectify the issue. Luk Fu is 100x better. Don't waste your money here.

Kate S.

Yelp
Excellent food however the service was AWFUL! Truly the worst. Next time I'll order to go.

Yelp
Excellent service and outstanding meal. Steamed dumplings(4) and fantastic Lamb chops. The dressing on the light salad is flavorful.

Yelp
Only visit if you have an extra 4 hours to spare!! In sugar house casino Moderate food. Worst service ever! We were a party of 6. Five of us had received our meal after about an hour. 1 did not. It took nearly 2 hours for him to receive his food. When questioned the waitress and I assume the manager apologized and explained "they only have one wok". I asked if the meal of the person that took over two hours would be taken off the bill. She laughed and said no. No discount of any kind was given, and they were quite rude when I politely asked. We then had to wait another 30 minutes before we could get the check, and another 30 min before our card was brought back to the table. Expect a minimum of a 4 hour visit.
