Cali is getting cold weather again, so you know what that means .. soup weather! Parking: They’re located in a very small plaza with very limited parking. We parked in a parking garage across the street. Free parking lot or parking garage. Ambiance/Environment: They have a medium sized space with a decent amount of seating. We visited during lunch time, and it was packed. They also have outdoor seating with a tent. Since it was busy inside, we sat outside. Service: Everyone was absolutely courteous, attentive, and quick! We were constantly checked on. We got the pleasure of meeting the owners, and they were absolutely sweet. Everyone speaks limited English but enough to get by. Foods: 1. Spicy Beef Soup - This was sooo delicious! There was a generous amount of beef! The soup was piping hot, which was perfect for the cold weather. The clear noodles were cooked well. 2. Spicy Fish Egg Casserole - The portion size was huge, so it is definitely shareable. The soup was flavorful! It had lots of tofu and vegetables. The casserole surprisingly wasn’t too chewy; it added a nice texture to the dish. 3. Bibimbap with brown rice + cabbage soup - The cabbage soup was good! The bibimbap was spicyyy. It contained a generous amount of rice and vegetables. No protein in this dish. 4. Boiled Dumpling - These were bigger than I thought! These dumplings were also FILLED! The filling was seasoned well and the outer layer was steamed to perfection. Pricing: LA is always expensive, but it was definitely worth it. The flavors were present and the portion sizes were generous for one dish.

We went for dinner during the week. They have a lot of parking in the structure under the shopping center where they are located. The restaurant itself is warm and inviting. It was like walking into someone's home. We started with boiled dumplings. The dumplings were so soft and pillowy. They were stuffed with meat and vegetables. They also bring you kim chi. You can get white or purple rice. They also have iced corn tea on the table for you. We got the ox knee casserole. Lots of fatty pieces of ox knee to flavor the broth. And lots of vegetables that absorbed the flavors of the broth. So hearty and comforting. The kim chi and clam soup with knife cut noodles was my favorite. The noodles were so soft and delicious. The clams were fresh and added a brininess to the soup. We also got a cabbage and short-rib soup. The large pieces of short-rib with meat still on the bone. The meat just fell off the bone. The cabbage just absorbed the broth. All the soups were so good and cannot wait to come back and try more. Service was friendly and so helpful.

If Korean celebrities FROM Korea are visiting LA and are coming here for Korean food, you know it’s about to be good! Tucked away in the corner of the Olyford Plaza (next to Koreatown Galleria), you’ll find Miari Noodle House—home to the most delicious and authentic Korean food. They specialize in homestyle cooking with some of our favorites being the pancakes, ox knee soup, and pork ribs with ripe kimchi. Everything was just bursting with flavor! Their kimchi appears to be made in house as well. The servers were super attentive and helpful! Everything about this spot was very unassuming, but it definitely blew us away. Highly recommend anyone to come check it out! They are severely underrated! Pro parking tip: Park in Koreatown Galleria and walk over!

This place unexpectedly exceeded my expectations! The service is outstandingly good: friendly, attentive, and fast. The restaurant was full of people at lunch. The food is super delicious! The pork bone are perfectly cooked, and the rich broth is full of flavors. The fish tofu soup was very good too. Everything feels so homemade. The fire pot menu in general is amazing! Totally recommend!

Google
Worth the hype. We got clam noodles, rice cake/dumpling soup, handmade dumplings. The noodles aren’t homemade but the broth makes it worth it. The dumplings are meat filled and delicious. Their green onion kimchi and radish kimchi > cabbage kimchi. Apparently they also sell kimchi and Mandu dumplings separately (currently $10 each). They also have breakfast specials from 6:30-10:30am

Came here as part of an Instagram collaboration (comped meal), and I have to say I’m so impressed by this authentic, local Korean restaurant! We’ve visited Korea, and this place definitely made me feel like I was back in Korea! To start, the banchans were yummy (my fave was the barley rice with kimchi). We ordered the kimchi pancakes, the combination boiled ox slices, and the clam casserole. The kimchi pancake was so savory and tasty. It could have been a bit crispier, but it was still delicious. The boiled ox slices and clam casserole were incredible! The ox and clam were tender, and the portion size was quite large! The staff was so friendly, and I felt like I was in a Korean home having a home cooked meal! Highly recommend this gem in Koreatown!

Google
Located next to the Galleria Mall in LA Koreatown. Authentic Korean home cooking. The beef tendon and chives dish was huge and likely for 2-3 people to share. It was over $40 for that dish. The dish tasted good. The side dishes were very good as well. Half the signs in the restaurant are in Korean only so it may be difficult for people who don’t understand Korean language.

Google
This is one of the few restaurants in town that never disappoints with both food and service. Even when it’s busy, the staff is always friendly and attentive. The 밀면 was delicious, though a bit on the sweet side. I think it would be even better with some sliced egg garnish on top. Still, I always enjoy my meal here—such a consistently great spot!

Yelp
Miari is a family owned restaurant located in Ktown. Their cuisines focus on homey and comfort Korean food. The restaurant is small and cozy. The restaurant has been around for more than 17 years! The owners and staff are warm and welcoming. When you dine at Miari Noodle House, you know you will get authentic comfort Korean food. Their menu has everything from bean spout with clams soup to noodle with brisket soup. Stop by today to enjoy flavorful food. What I ordered: 46- clam soup $20 43 - beef brisket soup $17 54- grilled mackerel $18 21- spicy fish egg casserole $45 Got to get their White rice

Yelp
I came here with my mom after I picked her up from her dental appt. She chose this place because she had wanted soft noodles, nothing spicy or hard from her extraction today. This place is across the street from the Galleria market. Parking lot is pretty small and tight, but I was lucky to find one to the side corner so that was great, and even though the place was packed, we got seated right away as we entered, another plus!! We looked at the menu and noticed a huge bowl of noodles the lady was eating next to us. Mom asked her what she was eating and she said it was the noodles with the anchovy broth with clams. Mom then said to just share the big bowl because she can only eat so much and her novocane didn't wear off, so she said she had a funny taste in her mouth and couldn't chew very well. As soon as the lady brought us a warm tea and 2 side dishes we ordered the same dish as the lady next to us, I've decided to cut the radish and kimchi into smaller bite sizes and easier to eat for mom. There were tongs and scissors to cut the food which came in handy, another plus. Mom enjoyed her noodles and she said she was well stuffed after she finished her bowl. I'd say it was a hearty bowl, great taste, not salty at all, which was another plus!! And the ladies were nice to check up and ask if we had needed anything, great service. We both finished our bowls and then Mom said it was well worth it and had a great price for us to share. We had a great dining experience here for the first time and we highly recommend it. Thanks Miari Noodle House team for the great service today!!

Yelp
The best restaurant in LA that comes to mind when you think of Korean-style raw clam kalguksu. The clams are very fresh and the broth is delicious, so it's a restaurant I always think of. Try Korean-style wheat noodles. They started out in Busan as a replacement for the famous Korean cold noodles, and now they are one of Korea's national foods. All the food prepared by the kitchen lady at this restaurant is very delicious. One thing that is a bit disappointing is that the amount of food is decreasing and the price is increasing.... In Korea, the food that is very cheap to eat is kalguksu... It's contradictory that the price of all Korean food is 3-4 times more expensive than in Korea. If you tip a little, the back of your head will be itchy when you leave.~ Still, I always want to come back to this restaurant.

Yelp
If you're looking for a mom and pop restaurant, this is the one. KTown has so many great restaurants and Miari is one of them. I got to meet the owners, a lovely older couple, and they were just the sweetest! When we arrived, this spot was busy. Seems like a local fave. I know it may not be soup weather yet, but that didn't stop me from ordering them. I tried the claim noodle soup, beef brisket soup, and pork rib with kimchi stew. The noodles in the clam soup had a nice texture. They felt homemade. Soft chew and it went perfect with the soup. Loved the beef brisket with its vermicelli noodles and the pork ribs were so tender. We also tried the boiled dumpling and kimchi pancake. The mandu was delicious and I loved their kimchi pancake. We paired our hearty meal with a bottle of makgeoli.

Yelp
Sujebi is what you're here for. If you like chewy Hand Pulled Noodles, you'll love hand pulled dough. The texture is chewy firm yet soft. Not like mochi, more like al dente pasta. My second favorite spot aside from Hangari Kalguksu, but this place is much easier to find parking.

Yelp
You can send me NOODS anytime if it's from @miarinoodlehouse This ahjumma/ahjussi-approved spot in Koreatown is known for their generous portions of clam kalguksu (knife cut noodles) and traditional Korean noodle soups. I definitely agree that their spicy seafood kalguksu is much better than other competitors in Koreatown (cough, Hangari Kalguksu), but don't sleep on their other dishes, such as their kimchi pancake, bibimbap, cold noodles, and traditional Korean stews! Everything is made in-house and served with lots of love, down to even their Banchan. The servers were all so friendly and sweet, providing excellent table service by explaining every dish, cutting up the food and packaging any leftovers into to-go containers. Definitely check out this hidden gem if you're in the Koreatown area, and support a small, well-deserving Korean-owned business! Featured here: spicy seafood kalguksu kimchi pancake braised crab

Yelp
For 3 of us we ordered: Seafood Kalguksu - Decent. We had Kalguksu earlier this year when we went to Seoul's Myeongdong Kyoja. THAT place was delicious and set really high expectations. This reminded me of how badly I want to find something like that back home, with the ground meat and dumplings. Now I'll be on a quest. Cold noodle - First time ever trying this! It was good, the noodles caught me off guard though. They were a lot chewier than I was expecting and almost choked a couple times. May try this again at other locations on a hot summer day. I don't usually eat cold soups. Kimchi Pancake - I usually get seafood pancake instead, which I'm used to being crispier, but I guess since this uses kimchi, it's not meant to be crispy. In any case, this was still delicious, and a decent sized portion. The sauce that came with it was delicious too. Not sure what was in it but I think she poured mustard in it. Boiled Ox Head slices - Solid. Since it was boiled it didn't really have flavor (probably intentional) but dipped it in salt and pepper, or the kimchi pancake sauce. Kinda pricey! And the sides! That Kimchi was delicious!

Yelp
Miari is one of those traditional and authentic Korean diners staffed by ajummas and grandmas. While it's known as a noodle shop it offers many other traditional dishes. The cold noodles with wheat noodles (milyeon) is one of my favorites and I can eat it all day. The wheat noodles are thin and super chewy. The sliced meat dishes, such as the ox knee platter are also delicious. It is cooked and served with a lot of chives. The pork ribs with ripe kimchi casserole is also on point. I particularly like the soft cartilage tips on the ribs. Overall it's a great place for comfort food.

Yelp
Amenities: Private parking lot with amble spots Food: The pull dough morsels with kimchi, clam soup is amazing and hot. I love the chewy texture of the dough morsels. The soup is super healthy 5/5 Seasoned acorn jelly salad is another healthy option. Combining with hot soup creates a perfect pair of cold and hot. Since the soup was super hot, I added the cool salad with my dough morsels to create a perfect combination and warming taste. 5/5 Service: ‍Senior staff were adorable and nice. The food was served quickly. I have no complaint

Yelp
The wait on Sunday night wasn't very long for two people, though there were many customers filtering in and out. It is a small, mom and pop shop kind of vibe. Came here with a friend because another friend recommended it. We ordered the mung bean pancake, seasoned acorn jelly salad, and anchovy kimchi stew with noodles and pulled dough. Of course, it also came with some Korean side dishes (kimchi, radish kimchi, seaweed salad). The mung bean pancake was crispy and doughy. It paired well with the lightly sweet sauce it came with. The seasoned acorn jelly salad was delicious - very refreshing with a variety of textures. The stew was also very tasty and the noodles and dough were cooked perfectly. I think there are several other restaurants that serve very similar food in ktown, but I would definitely come back because it is very delicious and pretty close to where I live.

Yelp
At first I was surprised at the price of the food because I was under the impression that it is supposed to be very cheap. However, the portion sizes are very generous and one entree can easily feed two people. My noodle soup was pretty spicy and addicting. The noodles were freshly made and very chewy. The servers mostly speak Korean only but it was not hard to communicate with them when ordering.

Yelp
We arrived to find valet parking and joined the first line to place our order. After that, we waited in a second line to be seated. The whole process was surprisingly efficient. As soon as we sat down, they brought out hot tea, and the food started arriving gradually. It was incredible. I had a true Ratatouille moment when I tasted the soup and the perfectly tender pork belly bossam--it was unforgettable.

Yelp
Having a simple but very tasty menu, Miari Noodle House provides its customers plenty of flavor and quality ingredients in a homey setting. My uncle's family was in town, and this restaurant was highly recommended by connected residents of K-Town, so we had to try it. We were a party of 6, but came between lunch and dinner hour, so were seated right away. Miari specializes in Korean knife-cut noodle soup, which is a specialty of the Gangwon-do region of South Korea. It has a close cousin in Korean cuisine called sujebi, which is hand torn noodle soup, using a similar anchovy broth. I have very fond memories as a child sitting next to my mom while she made sujebi. Strangely, I've never been to a knife-cut noodle shop in K-town before, so was really looking forward to this. The group started off with something off menu (crispy seafood pancake) which was OK. Unfortunately, I got side tracked when I saw grilled mackerel and ended up ordering that. Luckily, everyone else ordered the clam noodle soup, and my aunt gave me a hefty sample of hers. The servings were very large, but everyone finished it. I thought the mackerel was good, but the others mentioned that it was too dry. The noodle soup was very good...most of the Korean soups I eat has kimchi in it, so was nice tasting the seafood broth without the overpowering taste of the fermented napa cabbage. My meal came with a bowl of white rice, some simple banchan (nothing special), and a good bowl of cabbage soup. Drinks were the standard barley tea (both hot and cold), which is always a nice sip on a chilly day. Service was OK, providing the exact amount of attention needed. It's pretty much a Korean-speaking crowd and there wasn't much English being spoken....just gave me more time to focus on the delicious food.

Yelp
Great place for Kalguksu! very clean and hearty broth as well as the iconic chewy handcut noodles. Service was great and the food came out quickly after ordering. Threw in a kimchi pancake impulsively which was crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. Enjoyed it a lot more than i expected and would recommend. Would come back to try other things in the menu!!
google avatar

Yuri J.

Yelp
The mung bean pancake is sooo delicious for a shared plate. The kalguksu and sujebi combo is heartwarming and broth is clean and simple, yet so good. Recommend sharing as it is generous!

Yelp
Probably the best cold noodles i ever had. Noodles were so bouncy and chewy and the broth was perfectly seasoned - sour but flavorful not too vinegary. The flavor was so balanced and delicious. The thistle bibimbap was very interesting i wanted to try it because the thistle is only grown in korea - it has a seaweed taste too it. Very filling and yummy. The mung bean pancake was crispy and fillled w mung bean. This restaurant is crowded for a reason its delicious! I loved the celebrity signature wall. Parking underground. Super crowded but I would come back to try other dishes

Yelp

Yelp
Wow- some of the best 칼국수 i've had! It's a small hole-in-the-wall type restaurant, and has an old school vibe. It's definitely easier to order if you speak Korean (menu is mostly in Korean). I got the clam kalguksu, and it was amazing! The portion is also huge, with tons of chewy delicious noodles! The broth is flavorful, and there are so many super fresh clams. Service is also good, quickly refilled our boricha and checked in on us. Absolutely would come back to eat kalguksu again, or maybe to try their sujebi!
google avatar

Jamie Heewon L.

Yelp
This is my mom's favorite traditional Korean restaurant. Their most famous dish, the clam and seafood kalguksu, has perfectly chewy noodles and a broth that's incredibly clean and refreshing without being heavy. In addition to that, the cold noodle, and bibimbap with leeks are all as authentic and delicious as you'd find in Korea. Highly recommended!
google avatar

Alex K.

Yelp
This place name is noodle house, but surprisingly, all the dishes are really good in here. Wish I had tested all menus here, but after I tried a few dishes, I can safely assure that you won't be disappointed with any of your choice. I guess why some celebrities from Korea ate here all the time while staying in LA
google avatar

Yelp
This place unexpectedly exceeded my expectations! The service is outstandingly good: friendly, attentive, and fast. The restaurant was full of people at lunch. The food is super delicious! The pork bone are perfectly cooked, and the rich broth is full of flavors. The fish tofu soup was very good too. Everything feels so homemade. The fire pot menu in general is amazing! Yelp
This place reminds me of a traditional Korean restaurant where all the servers are older ladies and they're efficient! They seat you immediately and have you order asap as this place gets pretty busy. They're known for their kalgooksu which is their knife cut noodles. This is a very popular seafood based dish but I highly recommend getting the clam one! I ordered the seafood one and I liked the broth from the clam one better! We also ordered the mook sari which is a summer menu item so they probably don't have it year around but this was my favorite thing here! It was so refreshing and flavorful and I felt incredibly healthy eating it! The parking for the shopping center is really limited so if you can find street parking that might be better! Also inside the restaurant you can find pictures of celebrities who have also visited so you know it is well known!
google avatar

Nadia K.

Yelp
The real authentic korean restaurant. Everything was perfect. They speak korean and pretty much every guest was korean as well.
google avatar

Minji W.

Yelp
If you are eating with your Korean parents or some kind of older generation Koreans, definitely bring them here. This is like the spot for og not very mainstream Korean food. If you're expecting like a gen z place with trendy Korean foods, this is not it. I feel like this is the best place to eat at on a rainy day with your family. My parents haven't had 아구찜 in America at all, and they both said this is exactly the same taste as Korean 아구찜.
google avatar

Ari H.

Yelp
Ran into this restaurant on a rainy night craving some hearty knife cut noodle soup. We got the spicy seafood soup and clam noodle soup. Both of the soups were clear and refreshing, not as heavy as I thought it would be, but still very good. The soups here are mildy seasoned compared to other places so the broth were pretty light in comparison. Kimchi pancake was delicious.
google avatar

Christina Y.

Yelp
We ordered the seafood knife cut noodle #32 and the cold noodle #57 and they did not disappoint. The seafood knife cut noodle had a depth of flavor that was accompanied by the fresh seafood and the cold noodle was incredibly refreshing on a hot summer day. Service was friendly and quick. Looking forward to returning.
google avatar

Yelp
The cold noodles here are SO GOOD. I'm drooling just thinking about it. The staff are super nice and let us sit at an outdoor table after we finished our food to chat more. This is one of those mom and pop Ktown joints you can count on. ILY MIARI.

Yelp
All the foods in the restaurant were perfect. Really delicious and services from staffs were amazing! Also, their kimchi!!!!!!
google avatar

Joseph L.

Yelp
I had heard a lot about this place and wanted to try it for a long time. I finally did last week. It's hot summer right now, so I wanted to try their cold noodles, but instead, I tried their signature menu, which is Kalguksu and cold acorn jelly. I also wanted to get the barley rice with Doenjang (Korean miso), but it wasn't Gang Doenjang, so we didn't order it. However, the imonim gave us small portions as a complimentary service! The service was good, and the food came out pretty quickly. The food tasted authentic and didn't seem to contain a lot of MSG like other restaurants; it tasted like homemade food. Their kimchi pancake was awesome too. I will definitely come back.

Yelp
I've been this place twice. I known this place from Korean TV show so I wanted try. I went to this place new year day for eating rice cake and dumpling soup. All Korean people eating this new year day. It's transitional food for new year. My friend ordered Gondre bibimbap with Soybean Paste Soup with Cabbage. Rice cake and dumpling soup (4/5)-it was so tasty. I would said that it's best rice cake soup in K-town. Gondre bibimbap(3/5)-it was ok. I thought gondre was frozen so texture is a bit tough. The cabbage soybean paste soup was too salty. The wheat noodles were delicious. I forgot to take picture of it. I loved they soup. But noodle's thinner than other restaurants. Banchan was just kimchi. Green onion kimchi was delicious but the rest was not good. I am Korean but I don't like kimchi but sometime I eat kimchi. But honestly green onion kimchi was best in K-town. If you order for Togo they don't give you green onion kimchi. Old style restaurant but they have a lot of table, even you can seat outdoor tables too. Emo was kindly. They served so fast.
google avatar

Jimmy K.

Yelp
My mom and I visited this place together last week. We both ordered soup and they did not disappoint us. My mom really enjoyed it. Especially one of the lady who served us was fantastic. I can say she served us with her heart. We can definitely come back again. It's about time to have a hot soup. It's winter!!!!

Yelp
This restaurant is one of my family's favorite and has a lot of plates on the menu. We often go here when we do not know what to eat. Ordered kalgooksoo (clam knife cut noodle soup) to go. They did not separate out the noodles and broth. The waitress nonchalantly said that it'll be fine; however, the noodles got very soggy and mushy. Note that I ordered THREE orders of this kalguksu. Their braised monkfish and crab dishes are good too. Would have given them five stars if they package their food better.
google avatar

Kimmy U.

Yelp
10/10 would recommend ! we came here on a friend's recommendation and it was love at first bite. They have a very extensive menu of comfort foods/soups, but were told that their kalguksu was better than Hangari. The restaurant isn't that big, and when we came around 9am on a holiday Monday, a lot of the tables were surprisingly filled. We got 1 clam kalguksu and 1 clam kimchi kalguksu/sujebi soup. I guess $16 is pretty average for post-covid prices, but the bowls are huuge and we could've shared one and maybe an appetizer. The soup is so comforting and the noodles have the perfect chew. There's also a good amount of clams in each bowl. We agreed the noodles were better than the sujebi Most of their menus and text on the wall are in korean, so you might have to ask for English menus or translation

Yelp
I've been there twice and really enjoyed the rich broths, tender meats, and flavorful dumplings. Unfortunately I think there was a cultural barrier and left a pretty bad taste in my mouth. The first time I went the lady asked if we were Korean. We said no and she was like oh "then how did you hear about us?" I think the primary clientele here are Korean speakers. I recommend coming with one if you really want to try this place. The second time we went it was a group of 4. We arrived at 8 and they close at 9. About 20 min before closing they gave us the bill, 10 minutes before closing they asked another group of 3 to leave, and also told us they were closing. We already paid so tried to wrap up, asked for to go containers, and 5 minutes before 9 she came to our table and startled banging and collecting the metal bowls and utensil. I think if your staff wants to be out by 9, you should probably stop admitting people earlier, rather than kicking out your patrons. I've been to places where it was too late, and they politely told us kitchen was closed and I can respect that. But it was such a rude encounter here. Even if food is pretty good I don't think we'll be back.

Yelp
Went back to Miami Noodle House recently, and I'm in love with their cold noodles (mil-myun). Apparently, it is the Korean actress Yoon Yeoh-Jung (who won the academy award for Minari)'s favorite menu item as well, but aside from that, it is really good. For those that are familiar with naeng-myun, it is a variation of it, but made with flour based noodles. (Mil is the first syllable of flour, mil-ga-ru, and myun means noodles). The broth is icy cold and delicious, perfect for summer. The topping is usually egg and a little bit of yul-mu kimchi. Trust me, you can't go wrong with this dish. Other than mil-myun, everything else is legit and old school. You can find a lot of older Korean people dining here, and it used to be my Dad's favorite clam kal-gooksoo place. Their kimchi is good, and everything from braised monkfish to Korean styled pancake is made well. Nothing fancy, just food the way it was supposed to be made. They're good with the basics, which is hard to come by nowadays. The service is fast, to the point, but friendly. They're very busy during lunchtime, but I've never waited to be seated. Highly recommend for some old school Korean food.

Yelp
Ordered some cabbage and short rib soup ($15.99) and ox head soup ($14.99) to go. The dishes came nicely packed in an open box with purple rice and two banchans, radish/green onion kimchi and regular kimchi. Both were good but there could have been more radish. The soups were both tasty and hearty, with the gelatinous bone broth base. The cabbage short rib was just a little spicy and I liked it better. It was also a larger portion than the ox head soup. A solid place for that home-cooked taste. Also, it's right across from the Koreatown Galleria where I like to go grocery shopping. Score!

Yelp
[Above all, will I be back?] I don't think I will come back on my own anytime soon, if someone wants to try, I will give it another shot for the white noodle soup. Heard this place was featured by some Korean celebs in a Korean TV program with so many good reviews on google map so I was excited to have their specialty food, " Kalguksu", but.... - Food: Overall disappointed. Side dishes like Napa cabbage Kimchi (no umami), Green onion Kimchi (too sour) were underwhelming. 1) Kimchi Clam Kaljebi (kalkuksu + Sujebi) The broth was bland, tasted like just boiled kimchi without spices. I could've made this at home (I usually go to this specialty restaurants for umami = 감칠맛) the noodles were cooked ok. There were 5 clams in the dish. Way below my expectation. The portion was good. 2) Boiled Beef Plate It was served in a hot stone plate with boiling hot white broth in it. Nice presentation. Comes with 2 bowls of rice (choose from barley, white rice or mixed grain) However, the taste was okay. Dipping in soy sauce with wasabi. The sides served with it were pickled chilis, garlics and onions in soy sauce and vinegar. Also bland. Not too sweet. Somewhat insufficient. - Ambience: A small mom and pop vibe. All foods seem like Baekban (homemade) style meal. It was busy during lunch time on weekends. There are about 20-25 tables in and out of the restaurants. Casual and lively. - Service: The waiting staff was so friendly, nice, quick and attentive. Kept refill complimentary tea and side dishes and asked if there is anything needed. I would give her 10 stars! - Hygiene: Cups, utensils, plates, dishes, table were clean. The floor was okay. - Price: The kimchi noodle soup is $16.99 and the boiled beef is around $33. Like other places their price went up. - Restroom: It was surprisingly clean and well maintained. Smelled chlorine. - Location: It is next to Galleria Market but you can't park there and come here (they will tow you). It is good to eat before/after shopping. - Parking: Small parking lot in front of the restaurant but extra bigger parking lot underground on the side of the building. Take elevator to go to the restaurant. ** If this review was helpful, please vote :)

Yelp
Super super good!! First time having Kalguksu in general and I was definitely not disappointed!! The servers who were working were really sweet and helped us to order. The clam kalguksu was STACKED with clams inside and it seemed to be never ending!! I will definitely be recommending this place to my friends and family. My friends got the spicy seafood kalguksu and they were satisfied with what they got. While we were eating, a lot of people came in and out to order take out. Make sure to come starving since the portions are pretty big!!

Yelp
This is definitely your no bs neighborhood eatery. Once you step in the restaurant, you automatically know that this place has no time for nonsense. Patrons of this establishment are Korean ahjummas and ahjussis (middle aged Korean moms and dads) and you know they're not about to eat from just any place. We had the noodle soups and the soup was spot on and the noodles were chewy. The kimchi was so very good as well. I would love to try their other dishes as they looked really good too. Maybe will give them a 5 star after I try their other dishes.

Yelp
I haven't been back to Miari in years and in the last few months, I've been back 3 times. It's still the same restaurant I remember growing up as a kid. The set-up has not changed. The utensils and bowls are all still the same. However, the clam knife cut noodles still taste as amazing as I remember back then. This is my favorite dish to get here. Each bowl of knife-cut noodles is overflowing with a broth filled with cooked clams and noodles, zucchini noodles, and thinly sliced potato spheres. It's such a hearty, soul-warming dish. It's soooooooooo delicious and filling- and a perfect cure for hangover or if you're getting some sniffles. They also have a variety of other dishes which I haven't tried but I also like the seafood pancake and Milmyeon which is basically naengmyon with a different type of noodle. It's a great restaurant and it's still full of old Korean people which kind of makes me nostalgic for the ktown that I remember from my childhood.

Yelp
Good food overall. I tried many different dishes over time, and I liked them all. Decent Korean restaurant.

Yelp
Had the best THE BEST seafood today at Miari. They also rushed to accommodate my grandpas needs (he is in a wheelchair) which i very much appreciated. We were seated within 10 min and the food was amazing! Ordered the crab dish which was superb and not too salty. I heard people saying its common to wait 30 min to an hour to get a table - i can see why! Food is absolutely worth the wait. Will come back this week to try their seafood hand cut noodles!

Yelp
Best gourmet Korean foods in Koreatown. The Korean pancake (Nokdu Jeon) was SUPER CRISPY and DELICIOUS. This place is getting well-known to celebrities recently, a lot of famous Korean actors, singers, and sports players visited this place already like Ji-young Baek and Hyunjin Ryu. For their kal gook soo (Knife cut noodle), I've had the clam one and the broth was very clean, savory and had Gam Chil Mat (similar term in Korean as 'umami' in Japanese). This restaurant opens early! I went to have breakfast with my pastor's family. Having some hot noodle soup at 7:00 am after morning prayer meeting was very healing experience. This place has been open for 10+ years, Korean elderly people often visit this place. Ask your Korean / Asian friends or family members to leave a review of their favorite place on Yelp / Google (I wish Yelp had foreign language filter on), In order to let everybody know of the authentic gourmet spots like this.

Yelp
Love the fish pollack soup. You know this place is legit when you see the elders eat at this joint.

Yelp
Cold noodles! That's it that's all you need to know. The cold noodles hit so bomb. Along with the radish kimchi! I did try the sul lung tang and the meat was so tough. There salt at the table but I needed more scallions :,(. Came twice one week just for the cold noodles. Today was so happy just hits the spot of happiness. First time coming, I had sat more near the door so I didn't see the actual restaurant but today they had a food bar area and the kitchen is an open view. So cool! I sat in front of the food bar and kitchen like if I get here early enough I'll just sit there. They do have small parking but also a garage on the side. Stairs or elevator you're able to walk up. It's in between galleria and the entrance for this plaza. Service- service was great both times. I like how I wasn't profiled and was spoken to in Korean. Because you know my butt looks white af! They also speak fluent English as well. They do get pretty busy but the servers are attentive. Will come back to try other dishes besides the sul lung tang. Side note reminder, they are super busy! Idk why I've never came across this spot of how frequent I goto galleria. If you're worried about parking just goto galleria for shopping and run over to Miari like I had my first experience.

Yelp
Good ole AUTHENTIC Korean comfort food at its finest. This is the place me and one of my best friends frequents whenever we are really craving some home cooked, authentic Korean comfort food. As previous reviews say, this place has no time for silly business haha they get their food straight to the point and the service is straight to the point lol The sujaebi is BOMBBB.. reminded me of my grandma and moms cooking! The dough pieces were the right texture and sizes. The broth was soooooo good too. Really deep clam/anchovy flavors, which is how sujaebi should be! One bowl was enough for two people! So don't make the mistake of getting two bowls unless u eat a tonnn. The kimchi pancake was also delicious. Can I also add that I felt like the radish kimchi and green onion kimchi were the star of the table? Haha me and my friend could not stop eating the kimchi! We weren't even THAT hungry when we got there but we ate everything haha no dough left behind (:

Yelp
Terrible service. The server messed up my order and it took 45 minutes to get my dish. I had to take it to go because my lunch time was almost over. I could have not been mad and just let the situation go. However, the owner and the servers' attitude was very rude and they did not do anything to make up for their mistake. I was very disappointed. They have poor customer service. I will not be coming back here again.

Yelp
Solid Korean food full of Korean elders, which basically says it's legit. Kalgooksoo was solid, filled with clam. Also, the variety of kimchi was the cherry on top: green onion kimchi, napa kimchi, and kkakdoogee.
