Mia's Table

Been here a couple of times and it is a pleasant experience every single time. Ordering was easy with almost zero wait, food came out fast, staff is accommodating, everything just felt good. Got the chicken fried steak and baby back ribs, with mashed potatoes and sweet potato fries as sides, absolutely delicious stuff. As a cherry on top, they have a soft serve ice cream machine that's "for kids of all ages" and it is just, really good vanilla ice cream.

It was a very tough decision on what to order. Everything on their menu sounded good. I ended up ordering their cheeseburger, french fries, with banana pudding for dessert. It hit so hard. I will be back!

All in all very please with the food, I enjoyed everything from the triple play sampler to the fries the burger was very yummy I like the authentic taste the fries where amazing and the chicken friend chicken was very tasty I’m a sides girl so I would say that he mashed potatoes where amazing! 🤩 and so was the macaroni and cheese 🧀 it was all very delicious 🤤 we will definitely be back

3.7.25 We came out to Houston to see the rodeo, and we decided to give Mia's a try. We both got the half chicken platter. It was quite good. They give a large serving of the BBQ sauce they use in a separate dipping container. The mac-n-cheese gets a 2.5/5 rating. The green beans get a 2.5/5 rating. The chicken was well-cooked; however, it was probably marinating in a lot of sodium. I give the half-chicken a 3.5/5 rating. The employees are awesome here! Great parking lot area by the eatery.

Overall solid food. Nothing stood out as unique but they had a lot of variety and pretty solid tastes. Free ice cream was nice too 🍦. If it's a busy night, parking might be tricky but their is a parking lot next to the restaurant

Mia’s is the most wonderful place for families. Jorge, the front manager, is the kindest person. Jorge always remembers our family and treats us so well. He goes out of his way to make us feel so special. The food is always delicious. Of course my girls can’t live without the ice cream. We’re so blessed to have Mia’s.

Mia’s table is the definition of excellence. The Food, Price, Workers, and Atmosphere all intentionally excellent. I thank God for Mia’s table. Also I would like to specially say a big thank you to all of your staffs. Daniella, one of your staff was so thoughtful to bring us a Ice Cream after I reported to her that the machine may not be properly started since we came in around when they open, once she got it running, she found our table outside and brought the ice cream .. Now this is what my Wife and I call intentional customer service which must be praised.

My second time ordering from Mia’s. I haven’t had the opportunity to dine in yet, but I will. Food is very good. Seasoned well, hot and yummy. I ate it so fast I didn’t get the chance to take any pictures. Promise next time I will.

The food has always been delicious! everyone is always friendly and willing to assist i. whatever we need. The ambience is always positive with friends and family!

Absolutely loved my first time at Mia's Table. The restaurant has a cozy and casual ambiance. It's counter service--you order at the counter and then they bring the food out to the table. Service is quick and friendly. I also really enjoyed sitting outdoors--the weather was beautiful and when it got darker, they turned on fairy lights that wove around the trees and the patio. I ordered the Fried Chicken Strips Country Plate, with sides of Sweet Potato Fries and Mac & Cheese. I also tried some of my partner's sides, the Green Beans and Creamed Corn. Everything was delicious! The chicken was juicy and soft on the inside, with a nice crumble on the outside. It paired well with the jalapeño gravy. The sides were all amazing. I especially loved the Sweet Potato Fries. And of course, you can't forget the free ice cream! They have a soft serve station with Blue Bell vanilla ice cream and it is so so delicious! A great way to end the meal. Overall, I definitely recommend. A nice spot for Southern comfort food and good vibes. Great for date nights, family outings, or just spending time with friends.

The place is cool. You place your order then they bring it to you. We have gone there twice but I probably won't be going back any time soon. Everything was mid. Except for the brownie. The brownie was not to great. Maybe if you have it super fresh and warmed up, but once it starts to cool, it hardens. Their Mac n cheese, banana pudding and flavored lemonades are the best items I've personally tried so far. The banana pudding should be a slightly bigger serving size though. It's ok, but we probably won't be back for a while. Service is fine. Some of them are super friendly and others are just moderately friendly.

I've been here a few times as you can see from my past reviews. I haven't had any issues until my most recent visit this past Friday I ordered the pork chops and got them fried for a dollar more. Within hours of eating I had the worst food poisoning. It was so bad I had to go to the emergency center. I tried to call the restaurant and speak to a manager. The lead manager said they would have the general manager give me a call back within 10 to 15 minutes. I never received a call back whatever you do do not order the pork chops from here unless you want to feel like you're dying and have an an emergency bill to pay.

Best southern fried chicken!! Oh my goodness- the crispy outside with lots of flavor. The sides were just OK. We had mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese. Even though you order and get a buzzer- the staff was great! Bonus... everyone gets free soft serve ice cream. This place was great! It's a causal and family friendly atmosphere.

Busy but with plenty of seats. Order in the front and they will bring the food out to you. Ribs were tender and good flavor along with the chicken fried steak was good. Sides was good with the mashed potatoes coming with white gravy. Overall, great ambiance and place to get lunch or dinner.

Everything is amazing here. I have loved every meal I have tried and my husband and two young sons love it as well. Great atmosphere and great food equals happy customers that can't wait to return

The chicken fried chicken is a MUST. It's not something I ever order but I was blown away. The chicken was so tender and perfectly battered. I couldn't stop eating! Oh and the jalapeño cream gravy that it comes with was delicious. They hooked it up with 2 servings of the gravy (THANK YOU). The sides were yummy too. The mashed potatoes were super creamy and the black-eyed peas were pretty good too (although I thought they could use some salt/pepper -- easy fix). I was honestly brought here by their steak salad (had a craving). It was pretty tasty although I did wish the pomegranate arils were crispier/fresher (they had a preserved quality to them). We also tried the pulled pork tacos. Also not something I usually order but dang, they were good. Came with chips and delicious queso too. Generous portions here too. At reasonable prices. Our bill for the chicken fried chicken, steak salad, and pulled pork tacos was $52. Not bad. Good food, large portions, fair prices -- what more could you ask for?

Meatloaf. I love meatloaf. But Don't get the meatloaf here. It tasted like a thin, low grade burger patty covered brown gravy. Texas toast was pretty good. Cole slaw was bland. Free ice cream is always a nice touch. And their cones were still crunchy.

When you arrive at this place, you have a large menu board to order from and pay. They serve your food at the table quickly. The ambiance is casual.

They were so nice The food is always so good from here. I will definitely be coming back! The fried shrimp basket was really good, even the French fries! I also purchased the Asian salad with salmon and it was very refreshing!

There are a few things about Mia's Table that me and my family love. The service is prompt, friendly, and efficient. Anyone in our family can find something they want to eat, and it's delicious. I love the thick juicy, burgers that are cooked to perfection. Also, we live the fast and easy way we are able to pick up our to go orders. We order from Mia's Table regularly because of this. Oh, and did I mention the reasonable prices?

I was craving for fried chicken steak so i decided to to here since I saw it in the menu. It's a casual restaurant in the upper Kirby. Food was nah... and a bit disappointed. The chicken fried steak was over cooked that I would say it got burnt. The bison burger was not good. The bun got soaked so it's a big eewwww to me. Overall experience wasn't impressed.

Went here today, because I was craving a burger. I was looking forward to satisfying my tastebud. Unfortunately that did not happen, because I bit into mine and it tasted like a bag of salt. The patty was over salted! I was so dissapointed so I am going to take a break from Mias...it was not worth it and I am a foodie that enjoys a good meal, so not today...

Overall great meal and very filling. The sweet potato fries were the star. Perfect ratio between potato and crisp! The sandwich I felt was more on the plain side. There was nothing that really stood out to me with this sandwich. The bread was also chewy.

Second time having the fried chicken platter and I simply love it! The chicken is seasoned very well and always piping hot. Both times have been orders online with pick up time being spot on! All sides have also been perfect.

Hard to get better than this for this type of food. Got the CFS. Perfectly fried tender meaty incredible jalapeño gravy. Got potatoes and Mac on the side. Wife got a burger with onions rings and they were both stellar. Don't even get me started on the soft serve. That's better than any free dessert option deserves to be.

One of our favorite places. Love the variety. There is something for everyone. The food is consistently good. The salmon salad is delicious! We also love the chicken tenders and the chicken fried steak. Whichever location you choose, you won't be disappointed.

The atmosphere is very casual and family-friendly. The food was good. The menu has a large variety of entrees. The cookies are cooked fresh to order. The shakes are delicious. The ordering process was smooth, and the food was brought to our table quickly, and the food was hot.

When you walk in there are some drinks you may pick. Then you order your food and they give you a tracker to put on your table. After you pay you go find a table and they bring your food to you. We waited about 15 minutes for our food. Our food was good. I had the half of chicken with green beans and bake beans. My husband had the hamburger with fries and my daughters had the tacos with chips and queso. They also have complementary soft serve that you can go serve yourself after your meal. Which was a nice treat. The inside was very clean. It was decorated nice and has nice tables. Big TV's all around too!

First time here. 10/10 I definitely recommend! The service was great everyone very attentive. The food was a good size portion and hot!! Plenty of place to sit so bring the whole family. Kid friendly for sure. Free ice cream!! The place is cute and clean with clean high chairs for the little ones. They also have outdoor seating under the shade with fans. Definitely will be coming back.

Super friendly service. Drove up to the to-go parking and didn't even have to call for someone to come up. Ordered chicken fried steak and a couple of burgers. They messed up my order with the sides.

Business is in a great location. Parking maybe hard to come by. Enough seating for large groups. All food tried was delicious! Service was quick, we sat outside due to it being a pretty day. Will definitely be returning!

Good food every time we go or order online. Fast service, good family atmosphere. Kids love the ice cream treats after the meal. Curbside friendly and fast.

It was super crowded so I thought the food was going to be very good. It was 6 of us. I ordered chicken fried steak, mac and cheese and black eye peas. They don't have a lot of vegetables to choose. 4 others ordered fried fish, shrimp and onion rings and 1 other ordered hamburger. I didn't eat half of my order, the chicken fried steak didn't taste freshly made and very plain taste, the mac and cheese was ok but I really wanted a veggie and the black eye peas taste like it had ginger in it. I'm not sure what spices were used but since it taste like ginger I didn't eat it. 3 of the others that ordered fried fish and shrimp are triplets and all of them only ate a little of their food. The one that ordered the burger ate all of it and said it was good so if I ever go back there I may try the burger. I asked for a too go plate and they asked the triplets if the need one and they said no, they didn't really like the food either. The servers were really nice and kindly came over a few times to check if we needed anything.

Food is always amazing. The elderberry grape & lemonade together is amazing when mixed together. Staff is always friendly. The place is always clean.

This used to be my go-to-when-in- doubt place so I've thought about this review for a white. Reluctantly, here's the bottom line. Food poisoning twice in three months and I'm done. P.S. And they didn't even offer a refund. Not that I asked for or need one. It does suggest a lack of empathy or respect for the customer they just poisoned.

This place is a favorite of our family! The food is all so fresh and a large menu we can all get something we like. Large portions , I always have leftovers. Don't forget the free ice cream!

I loved this place when it opened. Perfect for my 3 kids. The last two times we came: 1) the fries were double fried 2) the ice cream machine was either watery or today had some weird cool whip mixture 3) mac and cheese and queso were served cold This place either needs to revert to how it was several months ago or we won't be back

We visited Mia's on a Saturday afternoon and all I can say is where has this place been all my life! It isn't a huge place and it seems that a LOT of people really like this place and they pack it! The basketball team that my girlfriend's grandson plays on decided on Mia's after the last game of the season. I has never heard of it, but I was open to trying it out. Approaching this Upper Kirby location (a block east of Kirby, in a neighborhood behind a shopping strip center) I figured parking would be a concern. The parking lot is not very big, but luckily there is a parking garage just across the street. There are tables outside near the parking lot and along the wrap around porch. Inside, there are a good number of tables and enough room to accommodate a few large parties. They also have a party room. Ordering was interesting. The line was out the door, but not because there were lots of people in line, but because of the two registers being just to the right as soon as you walk in the door, only accommodating queue of two or three guests. An additional registers has to be used to assist with the crowd. I ordered a "half-pound brisket burger" that came with French fries. Michelle got the burger, too, opting for sweet potato fries. My kiddo ordered chicken tenders. I was given a buzzer, but it never went off. Maybe they used GPS to find out tables . Alas, the food arrived and it was very satisfying! My well-done burger was flame-broiled to perfection and it was juicy! I has a strawberry lemonade that had me going back for seconds and thirds. They also have free ice cream cones for the kid (and adults who are kids at heart).

Ordered the Asian salad and a burger for my husband. Everything was delicious as usual. And Lance is always kind and courteous.

Ordered the Chicken Fried Chicken from curbside and it came out extremely quick! Tasted great with the jalapeño gravy. The baked beans are always tasty as well!

Prior to ordering we just knew the experience may not be the best. Ordering is a pain! The area to order is teeny tiny. There may have been 3 individuals in front of us and one large family behind us. We were all scrunched up in the doorway/ordering area and it just made the start of the visit frustrating. Someone walked in and cut right in front of us because there's no clear flow for ordering. Its just not designed well IMO. The cashiers were not as attentive as they could have been and lacked a sense of urgency. They also had to keep leaving their registers for whatever reason. They claimed they were out of angry orchard but we could clearly see a case under a shelf and the daiquiri machine wasn't working. Despite our unpleasant ordering experience, the food was good! I ordered a Buffalo jal chicken sandwich with cheese and it was very savory. Fries were decent. Margarita was a slushee. Oh, almost forgot.. they brought out my bf's food prior to mine so I had to sit there for a few minutes waiting for my meal. Overall it was okay. Can't say we will frequent but it was decent.

I frequent Mias, but this was honestly the first time I selected Curbside instead of dining in. I was impressed with the consistency of it all from the ease of ordering online to the car service and freshness of our food. Love this place!

Mia's table never disappoints. it has an old style American diner charm. You order before you sit down and then get a buzzer to place on your table, the food is then brought out by a waiter. The food is fresh, well cooked and they are willing to make changes to the toppings/sides as needed. The icing on the cake is they offer a free mini whippy ice cream cone for all patrons, young and old!

Everything was great, as usual. The chicken fried chicken with jalapeño gravy is my go to comfort meal that I would recommend to everyone.

This was my second visit, with my parents, to Mia's Table. The food is outstanding and you can certainly taste that it's cooked fresh. The chicken strips are great as well as the sides. The 3 of us split 2 dinners and still had leftovers! Tonight, we were greeted by Fabian (a manager) and had such a nice conversation with him. We shared stories of San Antonio, places to eat, and things to see. His customer service is top-notch and makes you feel very welcome. I only wish there was a Mia's Table in San Antonio!

Great place for a quick simple bite. My go to is always the grilled salmon with mashed potatoes. While I haven't sat down to eat here, the environment is clean, staff is friendly and I haven't had any issues with delivery. Highly recommend!
