Delicious menu options. Service was great and has a great vibe to dine in.

Google
Delicious Lomo Saltado! The food is really good. One of the best around here. Prices are high but it’s worthy. The staff is also nice and it has a cozy ambience. Must try the Lucuma ice cream

Workers always have a nasty attitude whether it's over the phone or in person. They gave away our phone order to another customer and had the audacity to ask if we wanted to wait for said customer to come back with the returned food. Why would we want food that a stranger had in their possession for 20 minutes, and clearly OPENED the food boxes to realize it wasn't their order. They had us wait another 20 minutes just to short us on the green sauces (we know, 1 sauce per plate) the male employee denied that he said that before and asked us to pay for extra sauce. This place is a joke, no remorse, no respect, no shame no apologies

Google
The food here is so good!!! I only come here when I really want it or it’s a special occasion because it can be pricey but nonetheless the food is very good and the portions are good sized as well. The service is a bit lacking as we had our food come out at different times and had to ask for eating utensils. Overall though, I’ll tolerate the lack in service because the food is good. Their alfajores are good too!

Google
BE AWARE , we were charged a service charge due to policy of parties of 6 or more although we were 4 adults and 1 child w 2 babies who did not order food and yet we were still charged a service fee which is wrong the staff did not have to do anything extra to serve the children only those who ordered food. On top of that we had to waive down our server serval times to get there attention and when we did they told us to wait server (Alex) was not understanding when we notice the extra charge after explaining our situation he said that’s how it is. Terrible experience

Google
I’ve been coming here for a few years now but the prices have honestly gotten ridiculous. We went for lunch and ordered a lomo saltado, saltado des vegetales, and two side orders of plantains. No drinks, no apps, and we paid over 60. The food is good but honestly? We won’t be back.

Evan C.

Google
Food is just okay. I may be a bit demanding because it doesn't really have the "homemade" taste, very much required for Peruvian food. Too commercial. Flavor is not bad though. I'd recommend the plantains, the best item. As I said, dishes are not bad in taste but they lack the last line of perfection. Desserts are great on the other hand. I'd go for tea time (lonchecito) instead of lunch or dinner.

Google
My friend introduced this place to me and it was delicious. Nice atmosphere. Small mom and pop restaurant. The prices were decent for the portion that it came with. Their empanadas were really good. The powdered sugar on top gave an interesting twist to it. The service however was ok. It would be nice if the waitress would check to see if we needed some water. I had to flag one of the servers twice (one for me and another for my friend)

Yelp
I love Peruvian food so when my coworkers brought me here I was way excited! Everything is very authentic and they have a wide variety of menu selection to choose from. Their iced tea is amazing and it is fresh brewed. The restaurant itself seem small from the outside, but it's pretty big on the inside with lots of tables and seats, great for large parties or if you're eating by yourself. The staff is friendly, but I noticed that they can be quite slow. I will still come back because the dishes here are just too good. I ordered Lomo saltado, a popular Peruvian stir-fry, was savory with will balanced sauce and the beef was tender, fries a bit soggy from the sauce, but still we're all very delicious one of my favorite Peruvian dishes that I will continue to order. Highly recommend if you're in the area. Parking is huge so no anxiety there.

Yelp
We came out here since it was around the corner where we were at and wanted to celebrate the Peruvian way. We got anticuchos, ceviche de pescado, lomo saltados, chicha morada, arroz con pollito y papa la huanciana, jalea de mixto, y lucuma. Everything was delicious. The ceviche was okay. It was the first time I tried mahi mahi as the protein for the ceviche. The leche of the Tigre was alittle too sour. I enjoyed the diverse options on the menu. It def satisfied those cravings and presentation of the food was pretty. For my Arroz con Pollito y papa la hucaina, it was pretty good-the boiled egg and Olive was missing from the dish. The anticuchos were so good as an appetizer. We def wanted to order more of that dish. Service was great! They were very attentive and were able to provide recommendations. Also, the environment was nice and clean. It's next to the food hall and lots of parking available. As a Peruvian, def enjoyed the flavors and how it tasted close to home. Def recommend!

Yelp
Our first time here, the food, service, and ambience were so impressive that we just know we'll be back. Our party of 4 chose to sit outside since we could avoid a wait. We really enjoyed the quiet, roomy backyard vibe. Sometimes when seated outside in restaurants, service can be lacking due to distance. But not here! Our waiter was so on it! Personable, checked on us regularly, and brought all the extras. Our drinks were delicious! Really unique, refreshing flavors. The squishiest rolls were brought to the table: mmm! The dipping sauce was surprisingly spicy, but so flavorful! Each of us really enjoyed our orders. The flavors were fresh, popping with flavor. Our dishes were plentiful and we all left with happy, full bellies. Overall, a great experience. We'll be back!

Yelp
The best around. Service for a pleasant, accurate and quick... the atmosphere is lively, crowded and happy. The food is Outstanding!! Try it all. Well done!
google avatar

Kristel Faye T.

Yelp
Food has been a hit or miss. Loved the Bisteck Anticuchero and Jaleas...but will pass on the ají de gallina and arroz con pollito (but I loved the huancaina). My husband's family likes going here for their variety, but it's not my fav Peruvian spot in Rancho. The service is also hit or miss. Sometimes they're attentive, other times they never come back to refill your water. Also, when it's hot...the temp inside will leave you feeling faint. So, there's at.
google avatar

Yelp
Came here to celebrate a couple graduations. The pollo a la brasa was delicious and very tasty. The sides were pretty big and the chicha was delicious! Will definitely come again.

Yelp
We had a nice lunch in memory of my mother in law's 92nd Birthday. She was Peruvian and know she would have enjoyed it.
google avatar

Nancy T.

Yelp
The pollo saltado is so good. The green sauce adds spice and flavor to everything. This dish I had is a good portion and made good leftovers. The grilled chicken with pesto spaghetti is so delicious. I cant wait to try other dishes here next time. The chicken was moist and not dry either.
google avatar

Douglas F.

Yelp
My mother in law has taken me here a few times now and it's by far one of the best Peruvian restaurants in the area. My go to is the leche de Tigre ceviche and tamal (which is a great size). The lomo saltado is also very delicious. Staff are kind and welcoming too! Would recommend.

Yelp
It was delicious. I loved the lomo saltado here. Very fresh very tasty and cooked deliciously. The service was fast and good. I ordered take out and it was great. I loved how pretty the restaurant was very clean and beautiful.

Yelp
Food taste good, however, the meat was kind of hard. Customer service was great, lady waitress was very friendly.
google avatar

Yelp
The quality is definitely suffering while the prices have gone up. Take out was cold and greasy. Look at the pics.

Yelp
One of our favorite spots for all occasions or non! Celebrated my wife's birthday tonight and everything was amazing per usual!!! Ambiance was perfect, food was absolutely delicious and on point!! Everything is seasoned well, fresh and hot when it comes out! Good quality ingredients! Service is always great, they always make us feel like we family!!!

Yelp
Mica's is a great little restaurant in Rancho Cucamonga. Located in the same strip mall as the Haven City Market, this restaurant was a little hard to find being in a corner but it's right next to the goodwill. There is both indoor and outdoor seating, outdoor area has some artificial grass the tables sit on and it's actually quite nice, although we sat inside because of the weather. Service was great, server was attentive and it was easy to get assistance when needed. The menu is pretty lengthy with the main choices being vegetarian, Mariscos (seafood), chicken, and beef. I ordered the Bisteck a lo Pobre and it was really good. The sauce they brought out with the bread rolls was probably my favorite thing. I ate it with not only the bread but my entree as well. All in all, would recommend trying this spot!
google avatar

Noelia L.

Yelp
Some of the best food ever omg!! I had to bring some friends the second AND third time because that lomo saltado was to die for!!!! I'll continue to come forever!!!!
google avatar

Yelp
This is my second time having Peruvian food. The first time I had Peruvian food was in Richmond, ca it was amazing and I would rate it 5 Micas is a good 3 ingredients could be better. My dish was Tacu and definitely more interesting, but it won't have me returning for more. The Saltado tasted like ketchup and soy sauce, edible but not that great
google avatar

Yelp
As you approach the entrance, you feel that South American vibe and it continues throughout your moments there! We started off with the assorted empanadas, with were delicious! I particularly favored the beef. My brother and his wife said that the portions were hefty, and they absolutely were! We ordered chaufa de carne (fried rice m) , pesto spaghetti with your choice of a grilled chicken breast or breaded. I'm glad I chose breaded, lomo saltado, and mixto Del Mar which was so tasty except that this was the first Peruvian restaurant that didn't place a piece of yam in their ceviche. That's how I always had Peruvian ceviche. I especially enjoyed my refreshing glass of chicha morada!! Mom and sister had Peruvian for the first time. They loved it! Especially the aji! Mico's was a great hit for the fam!!
google avatar

Mayra P.

Yelp
The service was amazing. Family owned, and definitely noticeable. Their Lomo saltado is sooo good. I have to go back and try other entrees.

Yelp
I love this place! It definitely deserves more than 3 stars! It's a small spot. The atmosphere is cozy, the staff is friendly & the food and drinks are delicious! This restraunt is one of my top 5 overall restraunts! So happy we discovered it a couple years ago!!
google avatar

Karla H.

Yelp
Very impressed by the portions Very impressed by the portions of this place and the pricing as well. Service was okay, the waiter was extremely busy. Ambiance was nice, music plays in the background and service was fast.
google avatar

Bianca R.

Yelp
I usually have my go-to lomo saltado place that I absolutely LOVE so I'm always skeptical trying new places but I was quickly impressed with Mica's. The meat was tender and flavorful and the fries soaked with the juices was very delicious. I have to come back and try their other dishes when I'm in the area!

Yelp
I would give this place a 0 if i could. My family and i ordered food and they took forever to bring my siblings plate. We were almost done with our food already and his plate still didnt arrive. We asked other servers around (our server never came back to our table at all) if he can go check on the plate and he was very rude. I asked to be compensated by taking off a plate that i didnt like from the bill (for the long wait) but instead the MANAGER asked for the plate back???????????? Disgusting manager!! Very bad business. Im still shocked that she asked for the plate back Never coming back here again, bad service. Server with glasses and the manager need to check their attitude. All this on mothers day too, very disappointed.

Yelp
google avatar

Khris L.

Yelp
Service is ok the food is so so no the best the chaufa has good flavor just less oil do, the green sauce is good
google avatar

Nico Z.

Yelp
Food is good. Horrible customer service. Ordered to go about a month ago and they forgot my drinks. I was told I could get them next time I came in. Today I was told no because they didn't have a anote about it. I paid for my drinks, and it's not my fault that they have a poor system. I think it's horrendous customer service the way the just dismissed me today. I don't need to lie to get a couple of drinks. Won't be returning.
google avatar

Chef C.

Yelp
Great food. Quiet spot with amazingly friendly staff. We were a group of 5 and the bill was still really inexpensive. I totally recommend this spot especially if youve never had peruvian food its a great way to get introduced to some amazing flavors that you really dont find anywhere else in the local area.
google avatar

Annette M.

Yelp
I had been wanting to try Peruvian ceviche for a while and finally got to try it at Mica's! I had the ceviche mixto and leche de tigre. They both tasted pretty similar to me; leche de Tigre was supposed to be on the spicier side but it definitely was not spicy lol. Both ceviches were extremely acidic, my teeth were starting to hurt lol. They had a really good flavor but next time I won't be doing both ceviche's. Would definitely visit again!
google avatar

Karina R.

Yelp
Food good, customer service its HORRIBLE every time at BOTH locations RANCHO and LA VERNE( very rude manager and owners) I am done giving them a change to improve!! No coming back anymore...

Vanessa F.

Yelp
Super upset first of it's all always hot in there no ac it's never on and I have always gone with 8 + guests and they always sit us well today I came with 3 including myself and they tried to seat me in the back next to the restroom! The manager was very rude he did not hear out my reason of why I didn't want to sit next to the restroom I am a good paying and returning customer and I always tip good this is by far the worse I've ever been treated ! I will never come back my money is just as good as everyone else's even when I bring 8 people to eat and pay from my own pocket! I'm over this place do not support this damn restaurant ! There was other tables available to and the rude manager said they were reserved what a lie they do not do reservations at that restaurant I know because I have tried for my birthday before ! Horrible place that manager didn't care I have tipped him too and he just gave me an attitude and didn't care !!!
google avatar

Kaitlyn P.

Yelp
Mica's never fails to impress. The food is always hot and fresh and I used to doordash Mica's all the time over COVID, but it's so different dining in. When you dine in the dinner size for the Chaufa de Carne is huge. They give you like twice the amount and it always hits. You have to make sure you drench your food in their Aji cause it's so addicting. The service is always respectful and always checking up which is nice. The place was heavily decorated in Peruvian Pride and a lot of light pours into the restaurant during the day which is nice. GO HERE!!!!
google avatar

Martha R.

Yelp
We love this place so much we brought our church friends to try it for there first time. They never had Peruvian food, and they loved it!We were one of the first when they opened @11am. We were greeted right away and answered any questions we/they had. The beef is always so tender and the chicken is never dry, very flavorful. The waiter checked on us often with a smile. We'll be back

Bictoria M.

Yelp
Bad customer service, they don't answer the phone, they won't allow you to place orders if it busy and they tell you to call later. They close for lunch 1hr 1/2 don't drive for nothing. Food does not always taste the same, some days can be better than others. They need to manage building better.
google avatar

Anibal R.

Yelp
There has been a change it's been for the good we have been coming here for sometime it was good it went down for sometime but recently the people that work there and the food has a better taste been there twice in two weeks they treated us so well we shall be visiting a bit more frequent great food a lot to choose from try it all

Juan R.

Yelp
My previous post was removed, and I have to share this so everyone knows about the roaches. This restaurant has roaches! We notified management and they were passive about the situation, and mentioned the roaches from outside. They were German roaches not the large ones. There were multiple roaches. I found them in the little hallway and in the bathroom. Why was my first post removed if we did find roaches in the facility?!
google avatar

Guillermo M.

Yelp
After looking at a few places I decided to try micas , I know the area so not hard to find . Coll little patio to sit outside, came in , grabbed menus and waited a couple mins to be seated . After looking over the menu decided to go with the 1/2 rotisserie chicken and two sides , so I ask for the rice and beans and a side of plantains , the waitress tells me they have no beans WTH!? And no plantains !?! Whoa!! I was really disappointed!!! We got complementary bread and butter and the greenish sauce that at Peruvian restaurants is usually really good , this one was just ok . Not too spicy like others . So had to go with the rice and salad , salad dressing was limited , it came with ranch . The chicken was pretty good . We also ordered the ceviche, this was the best of the meal! The taste the tenderness of the fish , the lime juice and spices , so much flavor !! It was really really good . Had a sangria to drink , it was ok too , nothing special . Inside vibe is cool , plenty of room for groups . Would come back for the ceviche and to try the empanadas
google avatar

Shea E.

Yelp
Been here twice and both times I was pleased. Definitely try their fried plantains as a little treat
google avatar

Tony L.

Yelp
Love the food. Their ahi verde is legit. When you get ceviche, ask for the "cancha" on the side. Nobody eats it mixed in with ceviche lol. Other than that everything is great here :)

Katty V.

Yelp
Food is ok, some times fresh other times not so much and it's crazy how stingy they are with the salsa and on top of that unfortunately they rise prices tremendously from one day to the other.
google avatar

Evelyn P.

Yelp
Simply delicious. Love the Saltado de mariscos and Lomo Saltado. Always my go-tos with a inka Cola.
google avatar

Vanessa R.

Yelp
The service is horrible. They have quite a few servers and runners but it doesn't seem anyone is wanting to work. Hopefully they will soon improve the service. The food is tasty.
google avatar

Monty F.

Yelp
The food and service is always really good . If you want authentic Peruvian food , this is the place ! Highly recommended .
google avatar

Christine H.

Yelp
Went to the La Verne location and this place rocks! My husband and I both got the fried rice with steak absolutely delicious!!

Melinda M.

Yelp
This was our first time having Peruvian food! We ordered the: -tacu tacu de pollo - mix of rice and beans with chicken -bisteck a lo pobre - steak, rice, fries, plantains, egg, salad Both were good, but we especially lovedddd the tacu tacu! I'm sure it wasn't healthy, but that rice & bean mix was soooo flavorful and such a nice soft texture that we'd never had before! I didn't know rice and beans could be that good!! The bisteck a lo pobre I wouldn't order again.... everything was good, but it was such a random combination of foods (french fries?!). A week later, we got take-out: -chaufa de pollo - fried rice with egg and chicken Also good! Unfortunately the staff we interacted with didn't speak very good English and it was hard to understand them, which didn't help when we were asking questions about the menu and foods we were unfamiliar with. I guess that means it's authentic, then? ;)
