Google
Great food and AWESOME service! We can't wait to enjoy this place again!

Google
Customer Service: i only saw my server twice to order drinks and food. Their payment method for tips shows 19% on the lowest and has a small box for custom tip. Ceviche: no flavor and they use lime juice from the pre made bottles.. not fresh lemon juice. Ceviche 3.5/10 Pollo a la brasa: 5/10 even tho they said it was fresh it looked like it was from the day before. I got recommended to go to this place by a friend.. would never go back. Im Peruvian and this wasnt a good experience.

This location is totally legit! Great salad and pizza!

Google
Delicious menu options. Service was great and has a great vibe to dine in.

Google
The food and service was both great. Definitely going back to try other plates.

Google
Delicious Lomo Saltado! The food is really good. One of the best around here. Prices are high but it’s worthy. The staff is also nice and it has a cozy ambience. Must try the Lucuma ice cream

Google
Food is OK. They need to train staff on customer service skills. They sit you down and forget about you. Last time I was here waiter gave my food to other couple that came in after me. I had walked out and decided to give them another chance. I sat there with no drink finally I went to register asked for drink to go. Paid and left. Next time I want Peruvian food. Going to Panda Inn.

Google
First time here on Sunday evening an hour before closing. This review is solely on the service because it was simply terrible. We were a party of two and the initial greeting service was good. We ordered our food and appetizer. Never saw our waitress Ana again after that. We were literally non-existent. Another waiter brought my dinner plate then 10 minutes later our other dinner plate and appetizer dish arrives at the same time. My food was cold because I don’t eat my food until all at the table has their food. I had to go find our waitress to ask for more Aji sauce and let her know we ordered the appetizer to have before our meals, she just blamed it on the kitchen. She never came back to the table to ask if we needed any water refills, NOTHING. The restaurant was not busy for this lack of service. Extremely disappointing.

Yelp
First time eating Peruvian and I am hooked. Tried a few others in the area and near my job in Riverside, but Micas has outshines the others. Tallarin Saltado is my fav.

Yelp
Peruvian restaurant near the Haven City Market food hall. It looks small from the outside but is fairly spacious inside with tables that can accommodate both small and large parties. The restaurant itself is located toward the back of the property away from the food court. I ordered Pollo Saltado, Trio de Empanadas as an appetizer, and Chicha Morada to drink. A complimentary warm dinner roll and butter comes with the meal as well as a small container of aji verde. The empanadas consisted of one each of beef, chicken, and cheese. There was a light sprinkling of powdered sugar which I found strange as a topping for a savory appetizer. However, the empanadas came very hot from the fryer, had flaky crusts, and tasted satisfactory. Chicha Morada was refreshing and can be ordered by the pitcher as well as by the glass. The Pollo Saltado tasted good with a nice, soy sauce flavor. It was not too salty. The dish had the perfect ratio of fries and vegetables to protein. Unfortunately, the chicken breast meat it was made with was slightly dry. I would have much preferred dark meat chicken in the preparation. The aji verde sauce did not have much of a heat level but helped to overcome some of the dryness of the chicken. I may or may not return for a future visit as there are so many restaurants in close vicinity. I will mention that service was good and parking is plentiful.

Yelp
I've been a loyal fan of Mica's in Rancho for years and always told everyone they're the best Peruvian spot in Southern California. I've tried so many places and nothing ever beat them. Today's visit really disappointed me. Our total was about $80 for three people, and I called ahead to order pollo saltado with white chicken breast, but my plate came out all dark meat. They did offer a two-week redemption, which I appreciated, but toward the end of my meal I pulled a piece of hair out of my mouth -- and that completely turned me off. It just feels like the standards aren't what they used to be, which is sad to say after supporting them for so long. I won't be redeeming the credit, and I won't be coming back. UPDATE 11/25 9p.m. The manager reached out afterward and explained that they've spent 12 years keeping their standards as high as possible, cooking everything from scratch with fresh ingredients, working with the best suppliers, and having cooks who treat the food like craftsmanship. They also offered me a refund and were genuinely sincere in their message, which really moved me.

Yelp
I like micas. As far as Peruvian. I frequent locations that are always far from home. I appreciate having a local place that sells great Peruvian food. I had the lomo saltado. My husband had the half chicken and my nephew got the chicken fried rice. Both of them finished their plates despite the generous servings

Yelp
I love Peruvian food so when my coworkers brought me here I was way excited! Everything is very authentic and they have a wide variety of menu selection to choose from. Their iced tea is amazing and it is fresh brewed. The restaurant itself seem small from the outside, but it's pretty big on the inside with lots of tables and seats, great for large parties or if you're eating by yourself. The staff is friendly, but I noticed that they can be quite slow. I will still come back because the dishes here are just too good. I ordered Lomo saltado, a popular Peruvian stir-fry, was savory with will balanced sauce and the beef was tender, fries a bit soggy from the sauce, but still we're all very delicious one of my favorite Peruvian dishes that I will continue to order. Highly recommend if you're in the area. Parking is huge so no anxiety there.

Yelp
We came out here since it was around the corner where we were at and wanted to celebrate the Peruvian way. We got anticuchos, ceviche de pescado, lomo saltados, chicha morada, arroz con pollito y papa la huanciana, jalea de mixto, y lucuma. Everything was delicious. The ceviche was okay. It was the first time I tried mahi mahi as the protein for the ceviche. The leche of the Tigre was alittle too sour. I enjoyed the diverse options on the menu. It def satisfied those cravings and presentation of the food was pretty. For my Arroz con Pollito y papa la hucaina, it was pretty good-the boiled egg and Olive was missing from the dish. The anticuchos were so good as an appetizer. We def wanted to order more of that dish. Service was great! They were very attentive and were able to provide recommendations. Also, the environment was nice and clean. It's next to the food hall and lots of parking available. As a Peruvian, def enjoyed the flavors and how it tasted close to home. Def recommend!

Yelp
Our first time here, the food, service, and ambience were so impressive that we just know we'll be back. Our party of 4 chose to sit outside since we could avoid a wait. We really enjoyed the quiet, roomy backyard vibe. Sometimes when seated outside in restaurants, service can be lacking due to distance. But not here! Our waiter was so on it! Personable, checked on us regularly, and brought all the extras. Our drinks were delicious! Really unique, refreshing flavors. The squishiest rolls were brought to the table: mmm! The dipping sauce was surprisingly spicy, but so flavorful! Each of us really enjoyed our orders. The flavors were fresh, popping with flavor. Our dishes were plentiful and we all left with happy, full bellies. Overall, a great experience. We'll be back!

Kharisa M.

Yelp
There's lots of hype for this place, went with some friends, had to check it out. The Aji Verde green peruvian sauce wasn't as spicy as other Peruvian restaurants. Ordered the Mixto grilled combo, the one with grilled chicken, shrimp and steak. The chicken was overcooked and kinda hard and the steak was overcooked too, so make sure to let the chef know how you like it. The waiters were not nice as well, debating if ever will go back there. If I do go back there, might try their rotisserie chicken, it was sold out when I went, so would call in before you go, if you are a rotisserie chicken lover.

Yelp
I love it here! I'm a nurse, and my coworkers and I get this all the time. We always order the Loma Saltado, and whenever new people try it, they end up going back on their own just to get it. The only complaint I have is that it's a very small restaurant, so I usually order my food to go and eat at home. I do think they could use a bigger space. Also, the cilantro green sauce is amazing--I always get a big container to use for my own meals at home!
google avatar

Brad M.

Yelp
Man, this place is solid. One of the best Peruvian restaurants around hands down. The location is clean, the service is great, and the food actually has real flavor. You can tell they take pride in what they make. The Lomo Saltado is on point tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. Even the rice and sauce are amazing. The passion fruit drink is a must, and their soup hits the spot too. Everything just tastes fresh and balanced. If you're looking for a Peruvian spot that's consistent, flavorful, and worth every bite this is the one.

Yelp
Long overdue review for Micas; one of my go-to stops for Peruvian food! I got the lomo saltado, and it was incredible. The beef was tender, seasoned just right, and full of flavor. Their yuca fries are perfectly crispy, and the green aji sauce is my favorite in the area; I could honestly eat it with everything. Customer service is always friendly, and the space is casual and comfortable. It's the kind of spot you keep coming back to because it's consistently delicious and feels local in the best way. Definitely one of my favorites; always hits the spot!

Yelp
Best Perubian restaurant in Rancho cucamoga Very fast and good price the service is. Eseptional

Kristel Faye T.

Yelp
Food has been a hit or miss. Loved the Bisteck Anticuchero and Jaleas...but will pass on the ají de gallina and arroz con pollito (but I loved the huancaina). My husband's family likes going here for their variety, but it's not my fav Peruvian spot in Rancho. The service is also hit or miss. Sometimes they're attentive, other times they never come back to refill your water. Also, when it's hot...the temp inside will leave you feeling faint. So, there's at.

Anna V.

Yelp
We we t with a party of 8 all of our appetizers and food was delicious , drinks were also very good ! Our waitress was very nice helped us with the menu items Lay back little place , will definitely return
google avatar

Estella S.

Yelp
The food was okay. The salsa was very watering and food lacked some flavor. Not bad but I have had in Cerritos
google avatar

Nancy T.

Yelp
The pollo saltado is so good. The green sauce adds spice and flavor to everything. This dish I had is a good portion and made good leftovers. The grilled chicken with pesto spaghetti is so delicious. I cant wait to try other dishes here next time. The chicken was moist and not dry either.
google avatar

Shirley T.

Yelp
The best around. Service for a pleasant, accurate and quick... the atmosphere is lively, crowded and happy. The food is Outstanding!! Try it all. Well done!
google avatar

Ralph J.

Yelp
Love this restaurant for their Spaghetti Pesto w/Beef dish. Absolutely delicious and never disappoints every time I've ordered. I've both dined in and to go. Its been the same either way. Love the sauce that comes with it. Definitely recommend this restaurant and the mentioned dish. Good ambiance and staff has always been cool. Unfortunately I have yet to try anything else there. One day I will take the leap.

Yelp
We had a nice lunch in memory of my mother in law's 92nd Birthday. She was Peruvian and know she would have enjoyed it.

Jack J.

Yelp
Amazing food! Great service! We discovered this gem by accident about a year ago. My Son and I absolutely love it! My best friend is from Peru, so we brought him here for a b-day dinner and he and wife loved it! 3 thumbs up!
google avatar

Al B.

Yelp
One of our favorite spots for all occasions or non! Celebrated my wife's birthday tonight and everything was amazing per usual!!! Ambiance was perfect, food was absolutely delicious and on point!! Everything is seasoned well, fresh and hot when it comes out! Good quality ingredients! Service is always great, they always make us feel like we family!!!
google avatar

Eva C.

Yelp
The quality is definitely suffering while the prices have gone up. Take out was cold and greasy. Look at the pics.

Carmen A.

Yelp
Maybe a solid restaurant for people that they don't know about Peruvian food. The meat was over cooked and dry (lomito saltado) I asked for meat medium cooked. When we were eating the anticuchos they brought the food, it was cold, the saltado de mariscos was teasteless. Will never go back , was a waste of $ and time.
google avatar

U V.

Yelp
Delicious, authentic Peruvian food. Good service, reasonable prices, good selection and variety of meals, nice ambiance.
google avatar

Gladys C.

Yelp
Food taste good, however, the meat was kind of hard. Customer service was great, lady waitress was very friendly.

Zoe B.

Yelp
Me and my husband went to this place and the food was horrible. We got diarrhea once we got home. It seemed like the rice and chicken were old. The taste was not right. And besides expensive, it wasn't worth it at all.

J M.

Yelp
Waited over an hour for my food. Never received . I had to request a refund . The man working there just kept saying a few more minutes. Other Togo order request after mine were completed. I try to support a small businesses, however with service like this it makes it difficult.
google avatar

Pearls P.

Yelp
This is my second time having Peruvian food. The first time I had Peruvian food was in Richmond, ca it was amazing and I would rate it 5 Micas is a good 3 ingredients could be better. My dish was Tacu and definitely more interesting, but it won't have me returning for more. The Saltado tasted like ketchup and soy sauce, edible but not that great
google avatar

Karla H.

Yelp
Very impressed by the portions Very impressed by the portions of this place and the pricing as well. Service was okay, the waiter was extremely busy. Ambiance was nice, music plays in the background and service was fast.
google avatar

Rita M.

Yelp
As you approach the entrance, you feel that South American vibe and it continues throughout your moments there! We started off with the assorted empanadas, with were delicious! I particularly favored the beef. My brother and his wife said that the portions were hefty, and they absolutely were! We ordered chaufa de carne (fried rice m) , pesto spaghetti with your choice of a grilled chicken breast or breaded. I'm glad I chose breaded, lomo saltado, and mixto Del Mar which was so tasty except that this was the first Peruvian restaurant that didn't place a piece of yam in their ceviche. That's how I always had Peruvian ceviche. I especially enjoyed my refreshing glass of chicha morada!! Mom and sister had Peruvian for the first time. They loved it! Especially the aji! Mico's was a great hit for the fam!!

Norma A.

Yelp
La comida deliciosa ampliamente recomendable el precio esta bien. El servicio deberían mejorar un poco.
google avatar

NANCY L.

Yelp
Came here to celebrate a couple graduations. The pollo a la brasa was delicious and very tasty. The sides were pretty big and the chicha was delicious! Will definitely come again.

Melissa O.

Yelp

google avatar

Susan K.

Yelp
I love this place! It definitely deserves more than 3 stars! It's a small spot. The atmosphere is cozy, the staff is friendly & the food and drinks are delicious! This restraunt is one of my top 5 overall restraunts! So happy we discovered it a couple years ago!!
google avatar

Douglas F.

Yelp
My mother in law has taken me here a few times now and it's by far one of the best Peruvian restaurants in the area. My go to is the leche de Tigre ceviche and tamal (which is a great size). The lomo saltado is also very delicious. Staff are kind and welcoming too! Would recommend.

Vida V.

Yelp
It was delicious. I loved the lomo saltado here. Very fresh very tasty and cooked deliciously. The service was fast and good. I ordered take out and it was great. I loved how pretty the restaurant was very clean and beautiful.
google avatar

Mayra P.

Yelp
The service was amazing. Family owned, and definitely noticeable. Their Lomo saltado is sooo good. I have to go back and try other entrees.

Tran M.

Yelp
I recently tried this place for the first time. Their lomo saltado is fantastic, the dish was so flavorful. I look forward to returning. Staff was attentive.
google avatar

Noelia L.

Yelp
Some of the best food ever omg!! I had to bring some friends the second AND third time because that lomo saltado was to die for!!!! I'll continue to come forever!!!!
google avatar

Dulce L.

Yelp
I would give this place a 0 if i could. My family and i ordered food and they took forever to bring my siblings plate. We were almost done with our food already and his plate still didnt arrive. We asked other servers around (our server never came back to our table at all) if he can go check on the plate and he was very rude. I asked to be compensated by taking off a plate that i didnt like from the bill (for the long wait) but instead the MANAGER asked for the plate back???????????? Disgusting manager!! Very bad business. Im still shocked that she asked for the plate back Never coming back here again, bad service. Server with glasses and the manager need to check their attitude. All this on mothers day too, very disappointed.
google avatar

Paola G.

Yelp

Silvia C.

Yelp
MIca's in Rancho food is really good, however staff takes forever and they're always out of something. NO bread at a Peruvian restaurant doesn't sound well.
google avatar

Nico Z.

Yelp
Food is good. Horrible customer service. Ordered to go about a month ago and they forgot my drinks. I was told I could get them next time I came in. Today I was told no because they didn't have a anote about it. I paid for my drinks, and it's not my fault that they have a poor system. I think it's horrendous customer service the way the just dismissed me today. I don't need to lie to get a couple of drinks. Won't be returning.
google avatar

Chef C.

Yelp
Great food. Quiet spot with amazingly friendly staff. We were a group of 5 and the bill was still really inexpensive. I totally recommend this spot especially if youve never had peruvian food its a great way to get introduced to some amazing flavors that you really dont find anywhere else in the local area.
google avatar

Khris L.

Yelp
Service is ok the food is so so no the best the chaufa has good flavor just less oil do, the green sauce is good
google avatar

Cameron Blake K.

Yelp
We love this place so much we brought our church friends to try it for there first time. They never had Peruvian food, and they loved it!We were one of the first when they opened @11am. We were greeted right away and answered any questions we/they had. The beef is always so tender and the chicken is never dry, very flavorful. The waiter checked on us often with a smile. We'll be back
google avatar

Kaitlyn P.

Yelp
Mica's never fails to impress. The food is always hot and fresh and I used to doordash Mica's all the time over COVID, but it's so different dining in. When you dine in the dinner size for the Chaufa de Carne is huge. They give you like twice the amount and it always hits. You have to make sure you drench your food in their Aji cause it's so addicting. The service is always respectful and always checking up which is nice. The place was heavily decorated in Peruvian Pride and a lot of light pours into the restaurant during the day which is nice. GO HERE!!!!

Yelp
This was our first time having Peruvian food! We ordered the: -tacu tacu de pollo - mix of rice and beans with chicken -bisteck a lo pobre - steak, rice, fries, plantains, egg, salad Both were good, but we especially lovedddd the tacu tacu! I'm sure it wasn't healthy, but that rice & bean mix was soooo flavorful and such a nice soft texture that we'd never had before! I didn't know rice and beans could be that good!! The bisteck a lo pobre I wouldn't order again.... everything was good, but it was such a random combination of foods (french fries?!). A week later, we got take-out: -chaufa de pollo - fried rice with egg and chicken Also good! Unfortunately the staff we interacted with didn't speak very good English and it was hard to understand them, which didn't help when we were asking questions about the menu and foods we were unfamiliar with. I guess that means it's authentic, then? ;)
