Ordered a few dishes and most were good except the plum chicken. The chicken tasted like were from the day before. The drinks were good.

We had Micha after a hike with my girlfriend and we were pleasantly surprised. We shared the AAA beef sizzling plate with pepper sauce and the chicken nugget fried rice — both were super satisfying. The beef was tender and flavorful with a nice peppery kick, and the sizzle added a fun touch. The fried rice with chicken nuggets hit the spot — crispy, tasty, and comforting. The atmosphere was clean, modern, and casual — a great spot to chill and enjoy a good meal. Quick service and generous portions made it even better. Definitely coming back!

Google
First time at Micha, and I was really impressed! Loved how easy it was to order food using the QR code, and everything was served super quickly. The food was absolutely delicious—we had the braised pork with rice, deep-fried squid, chicken nuggets, kimchi fried rice, and spicy lamb, plus milk tea. Everything was sooo good! Generous portion sizes and great value. One thing is I just wish they accepted credit cards it would make things more convenient. Overall experience was great! Definitely coming back next time!

Google
The food was average, but the prices were reasonable. Ordering is done by scanning a QR code, which makes the process quick and contactless. The milk tea slush was just okay — the ice wasn’t as smooth or finely blended as we’d hoped. The milk tea itself had a decent flavor, though nothing particularly memorable. There’s a minimum charge of $7 per person, which is something to keep in mind.

Google
Traditional Taiwanese small dishes, and all of them are well done. The pig ears, 甜不辣, fried tofu, dried tofu, fried squid - all are superb.

Albert T.

Google
Nice place to dine. Very fast in serving the dishes. Not too crowded. Food taste good.

Lux B.

Google
Food is good and reasonable price. Great atmosphere Good service, you can order yourself through QR CODE or the server can take your order too.

Jason

Google
Great food and good atmosphere. Just wanted to note that some chairs are a little worn out (hole in the seat) and the digital menu should include a search function due to the sheer number of items.

Yelp
Stopped by for lunch and everything was incredible. We ordered the Micha signature pork soup and their braised pork belly. We ordered the soup with the expectation that it would be in some medium-sized bowl that the two of us can easily share. The soup actually was giant and is meant for a family. Luckily, it was absolutely delicious; the pork was super tender, the egg fits in perfectly, and the broth was tasty. Every drop was finished. The braised pork belly was also delicious. Tender and fatty, I wished there was so much more sauce for the rice to soak in. I'm also a super fan of pork floss, so loved its inclusion. The side is also noteworthy. The radish soup was so flavorful yet light, and the tofu was fantastic. Everything we ate was five stars on its own. Only panic was when paying our server said they only accept cash or debit? I only had credit cards and American money, but in the end, she was able to use my credit card. Not sure what that was about.

Yelp
Decent Taiwanese spot in Richmond area. We usually go to Memory Corner for Taiwanese but decided to try something new. What's appealing here is that their Instagram advertises daily specials so you can get some dishes for a great discount (like 40% off). We tried the braised combo (pork ear, pork intestines, fish cake), Taiwanese egg wrap, braised pork sauce rice with deep fried pork chop, and yam taro mochi balls. The braised combo is pretty solid - I didn't really like the funkiness to the intestines (I generally enjoyed it in barbecue settings) but the fish cake was fantastic. I also liked the texture of the pork ears. The Taiwanese egg wrap was a bit tasteless, so I wouldn't recommend. Braised pork sauce rice is the lu ruo fan which is a large portion with seaweed, bean sprouts, and soup on the side. Pork chop was flavorful and juicy but not crispy batter, which is okay. Yam taro mochi balls were sweet and chewy. I don't like taro but I loved this dessert! Service is okay. They give a water jug for self pour but the water jug was of questionable cleanliness. The specials were not discounted so we called it out and we weren't told that we had to put the order with a server, not the QR code, so it was a strange interaction. They ended up honoring the discount. Also, they shut down ordering 1 min before 10:30pm - guess they didn't want more money as we wanted to order 1 more dish and they preemptively told the kitchen to close. Sure it's fine no big deal, it was a lot of food.

Yelp
Stopped by for late dinner and was greeted and seated quickly. They have sanitizer at the entrance and a sign to sanitize upon entry. My party of 5 sat at a table which provided plenty of room to sit comfortably. The table is set between two booth type benches but there is a tad too much space between the table and benches, causing you to lean forward to eat. You have a laminated menu with some photos and you also have a QR code on a piece of bamboo you can use to peruse the menu and order. You can order with an employee but ordering online was easy. My only issue with the online ordering is the lack of photos. Items ordered: Beef noodle soup- The best item we had here. Decent amount of meat and noodles and not too salty. Wonton noodles- For Cantonese ppl, these were more like dumplings and not like the regular wontons we were used too but taste was fine. Fish noodle soup- This was just ok. The soup is thickened with beaten egg and this had the smoky flavor from bonito flakes. Carrots and napa cabbage ratio was fine. Deep fried chicken appetizer- my kids really enjoyed this and ended up getting two orders Clam soup- clams were very small and this had a little too much white pepper Sparkling Strawberry- Just ok. My kiddo only had a few sips Milk tea- While you can adjust the sweetness level, flavor was ok. While I appreciate that this was open til 11pm, this place fell short of my expectations.

Yelp
The best dish that I had here was the beef noodle soup. The beef was tender from extended cooking and the soup was exceptionally flavorful. Their drinks are really great as well. We had gotten a chicken dish that was listed as stir-fried, but seemed like it was deep-fried given how oily the chicken was. Another area for improvement is that their QR code menu is a bit too extensive to scan easily. Also, the categories in their QR code menu and names of dishes don't match up exactly with their printed menu. This required some effort to find and order dishes through the QR code menu that we had seen on the printed menu.

Yelp
Open til 11PM on a Sunday so we tried out Micha - it was pretty busy inside at 10:20PM! You can order via their QR code but the ordering site was pretty bad, with no pictures of the food and no descriptions of the food. If the Spicy Beef Noodle Soup had a description that mentioned the mala numbing spice or the fact that it came with cheap hot pot beef, we wouldn't have gotten it. The BBQ Pork over rice was pretty tasty, but not enough rice for the amount of meat. I wish it came with other veggies than just salad greens but eh. Also, do not order their milk tea. It was awful!

Yelp
This place offers many Taiwanese dishes. First of all, ordering is all through the phone. Their menu really really sucks and it takes a minute to figure any of it out. If you spend a good 15 min or are overall familiar with their menu then the food shows up REALLY fast after ordering. Tried their beef steak. Thin piece of steak with either tomato or pepper sauce (or mix of the two) over rice or noodles. I thought it was ok but more of an acquired taste cause that pepper sauce hits hard. Chicken nuggets were so good. Drinks were way better than I expected. Highly recommend getting a drink. Shaved ice as a dessert is pretty good too. Highly enjoyed by everyone. Their menu and ordering system both need improvement though

Yelp
Complementary parking but you need to register your vehicle into their system. Make sure you register your license plate with them when you get seated. Ordering via their QR code is a bit challenging. I know this is the trend, but it's really difficult to get the order right so I had to verify with the server several times for both food and dessert. Good value at this restaurant. Food is good, service is attentive, and overall not a bad option. The restaurant is pretty clean and modern, even though their restrooms are really dark which was unexpected. The Taiwanese popcorn chicken definitely needs more seasoning and is not nearly as tasty as another restaurant just a few storefronts away in an adjacent strip mall. The brown sugar boba shaved ice was good to try, but it definitely looked better than it tasted. Ice was really hard and not easy to scoop. Not enough flavoring on the ice, and it was a smaller portion than expected. It was $16+ which included a few dollars more for 2 additional toppings. I wouldn't say they do anything spectacular, just very solid food all around with good variety. Will be back to try other items!

Yelp
Micha has a very cozy atmosphere serving up comfort food. We enjoyed our food and it was very affordable too. I thought that the lemon chicken was too spicy and there wasnt much duck in the egg wrap, so I was slightly disappointed. It's not a big deal, however we found the service to be lacking as well. In addition, we paid for parking but later found out the restaurant actually covers for it. None of the staff mentioned this information to us. It's a good spot for Taiwanese food but the experience is not so great. Next time, I might try Avery next door instead.

Yelp
We stopped by over the weekend for dinner. The restaurant was busy. We had to wait a bit before being seated. Once seated, we placed our order through a QR code on the table. Food and drinks arrived fairly quickly. The best part was their shaved ice dessert. It was nicely torched at table side for more aromatics. The rest of the items tasted pretty solid. No complaints. Service was efficient.

Yelp
A Taiwanese friend recommended this place to try. We had the Seafood Hot Pot 海鮮火鍋, Japanese Style Diced Beef Stir Fry 日式燒汁炒牛肉 and Deep Fried Squid 炸魷魚鬚. They were both delicious and generously portioned. We have enough food to take home for dinner. They have various combos that we would like to come back to try. Highly recommend this place for authentic Taiwanese food. The only downside is service. They run this place with minimal staff.

Yelp
Was a bit disappointed with their lunch service the last time I went. First time here ever for "lunch". Rice felt like reheated leftover rice. Didn't enjoy their scallion pancakes and their pineapple shrimp weren't as good as the last few times I had it. Never quite loved their 3 cup chicken (it's named something else here in English, but I can't quite remember)... but that's more a personal preference kinda thing. I'm just probably more used to the sauce at Pearl Castle since I've eaten there since I was a kid. I do like how quiet it is for lunch on a weekday though. And once again... I wish they'd update their paper menu to be in line with their QR code menu. I'm old school and I hate finding what I want to order every time I'm here. I always just get my friends who are better at Chinese/ (navigating the confusing phone menu) than me, to order for me. But this time I didn't have them with me. I really miss thé good old days when you were properly helped by your waitress/ waiter. It's like you're literally just left there to fend for yourself until you figure things out. And yes, their mobile menu comes in English too, but it doesn't help when I can't find what I'm looking for.

Yelp
Tried Micha out last weekend and arrived around 6:30 because they only take reservations for parties of 4+. We had a bit of a wait but looked at the menu while we were waiting. We ended up going with the combo for two and had SO MUCH FOOD we had leftovers! Fried chicken - super crispy and flavourful without being salty Appetizers - pretty standard, nothing too special Drunken chicken with clams - Yum! The broth was flavourful and I loved that there were lots of clam and pieces of chicken in it! The chicken was moist and we ended up drinking up the broth after too Meat sauce on rice - I recommend paying the extra $5 to upgrade to the meat rice because it was totally worth it! Lots of meat sauce came with it and it was super tasty too.

Yelp
Micha is a Taiwanese snack place in Richmond serving up warm comfort food, bubble tea, and tast desserts. The first time I went I was tricked into it by being told we were going for Boba. When I got there and saw some of the food people were eating I knew I had to try it. Every time I've gone, we've gone for one of the combos which come with some variation of: one deep fried dish, one braised dish, some cold dishes, rice and drinks. The value for these meals is great and I highly recommend. If you're asked if you want to upgrade your rice to "XL with meat sauce" say YES without hesitation. The sauce is some sort of braised pork gravy that oozes into the holes left by the rice grains and fills every bite with fatty deliciousness. Another favourite of mine is the special braised pork. It's very similar to Vietnamese caramel pork and just melts in your mouth. Be warned though, the pieces are quite fatty if that's not your thing. For the cold dishes, I love their braised pressed tofu above pretty much everything else. The cucumber salad is quite good too, if a little simple. Their bubble teas are not too sweet with a good portion of pearls. Nothing too fancy but what would you expect from a tea with your meal combo. Love this place and it will be a mainstay of mine whenever I'm in Richmond

Yelp
**NOTE: CASH, DEBIT CARD OR WECHAT ONLY** Great place for some delicious Taiwanese cuisine! Parking is ample as well. Ordering is unique (at least for us when we visited). You scan a QR code linked to your table and pick what you want to order and once submitted it goes straight to the kitchen. Neat stuff (though you pay at the end of the meal). Items we ordered as of 8/2022: - Pickled Cold Cucumbers - $7.95 CAD - Perfect blend of sugar and vinegar. This is a must have if you're having a lot of fried / greasy foods as it really refreshes your taste buds. - Clam and Drunken Chicken Pot - $15.95 CAD - Now be warned that the soup base has an herbal flavor to it. IF that doesn't sound very good to you then I would avoid this especially if you're expecting a clam/chicken based taste. Chicken was very tender and clams were good however! - Deep Fried Tofu - $8.95 CAD - I really enjoyed this. Perfectly fried cubes of tofu with a soft interior and crunchy exterior. The dipping sauce it comes with is a good accompaniment to it (it's hoisin based which gives it a subtle sweet flavor). - Taiwanese egg crepe - (I can't find the price on the menu now but I think it was either $7.95 or $8.95 CAD) - This is a staple Taiwanese breakfast item and is essentially egg and green onion wrapped in a delicate crepe and served with a hoisin based dipping sauce. This was fantastic and reminded me of Taiwan instantly. I would get this every time. - MICHA Signature Braised Pork Belly - $14.95 CAD - The star of the show. Perfectly tender and great braised flavor. Can be a tad greasy if eaten on its own (thus the cucumbers here come in clutch). I would always recommend this.

Yelp
Taiwanese style restaurant by Garden City and Alderbridge. Rumour has it this place used to be Strike and simply got renamed. Parking is available in the strip mall lot. Be sure to register the plate with the staff. Inside looks more like a coffee shop to be honest, with the pottery displays. Staff were friendly. I tried their sizzing plate. Quality was decent, but to be honest, the portion was a bit small for the price. I would recommend the dinner set for 1 instead. About the same amount of food, but a few bucks cheaper.

Yelp
Cash or debit card only! I was craving some beef noodle soup, so when I saw this place pop up, I knew we had to stop by! We ordered lu rou fan (meat sauce over rice?), beef noodle soup, and deep fried tofu. Everything was on point! The beef noodle soup hit the spot, and they were generous with the meat and noodle portions. The lu rou fan was delicious as well, but we wished they gave more of the meat sauce.. the rice to sauce ratio was a bit off. The star of the show, however.. was the deep fried tofu. I was shocked by how delicious this was. First of all, the portion was HUGE. So many tofu cubes! Each tofu was deep fried to perfection and was piping hot (I definitely burned myself LOL). Not only that, it came with a delicious garlic dipping sauce. And when I say garlic, I mean GARLIC.. this sauce was potent. This is a must get! Overall, great spot for some yummy Taiwanese food. The ambience and interior is pretty cute too!

Yelp
Micha serves up Taiwanese comfort food that's both fast and affordable. I've been coming here for a couple years now and I'm always impressed with how quickly the staff will bring your food soon after you order from your phone. I typically go with their classic Taiwanese dishes like braised pork rice and popcorn chicken with noodles, but lately I've been trying more of their menu and I'm loving it! Their smoked duck egg roll is surprisingly tender, and has become one of our new favourites. They also have a variety of individual sized hotpots that are tasty and comforting.

Yelp
Super packed when I went for dinner. Parking was easy as it was inside a plaza. We ordered takeout and food was made in about 20min. We got the combo for 2 and a bunch of other dishes. Combo for 2 with rice: $40 6/10 popcorn chicken - crispy, needs more seasoning 7/10 braised pork ear, intestine, tofu - extremely small portions 6/10 Micha sliced lamb - thought it was supposed to be a fry stir fry dish but it's soupy. Doesn't work well 6/10 tofu with green onions - average 6/10 Chinese cabbage - average 6/10 beef noodle soup - broth lacks flavor, decent portion 8/10 meat sauce on rice - prob the only thing worth trying. Pretty flavorful and decent portion Portions were extremely small and most of the food was also just very average. Not really worth in my opinion.

Yelp
What kind of dessert deserves their own then table?! This one does! What a icy yummy treat. We tried the grass jelly with puréed taro and boba on the side. 30% sweetness was sweet enough for us but they gave us extra syrup on the side in case we needed more sweet. Their savoury menu looks so good too which I would love to come back and try!
google avatar

Yelp
Formerly known as Strike. Great menu selection. The aesthetic and atmosphere was great. Service was on point. We ordered the combo for 2 and additional soup dish for our friend. Chicken nuggets were juicy and tender, but perfectly fried The pork over rice was fantastic. Overall: Taste: 5/5 Ambiance: 5/5 Service: 5/5 I can see why others would rate lower as there is great food everywhere, but MICHA always hits for me for some comfort Taiwanese food and dessert
google avatar

Jacqueline C.

Yelp
Very tasty food. Highly recommend the beef on iron pan and the shaved iceattentive and efficient service.

Yelp
Their $39.95 combo for two is so worth for all the food to share and variety. Theres a lot to choices to customize your combo. Came here with 2 friends for dinner and also ordered a couple more items on the menu and left stuffed! Nice and clean interior and easy to use online website to order through your phone. Micha has everything you want in a comfort meal with great drinks and desserts! Combo for two Deep Fried Squid Sweet & Sour Cucumbers, Preserved Eggs in spicy sauce, Braised Pressed Tofu Micha Signature Braised Pork Belly Our main dish that comes with rice. The pork belly was cut in big slabs and braised in a soy sauce. Wish it braised longer to be more tender but the flavour was good. Brown Sugar BBT Shaved Ice THIS was the reason I wanted to come here. I wanted that mountain of whip cream on top of my shaved ice and it delivered. It taste exactly how you think it would and better! It came with pearls, egg pudding and their special milk tea sauce on the side when I came. Very much like kakigori with the ice chunks being pretty big unlike bingsoo with fluffy ice. My fav

Yelp
We came here around 7:30 and waited around half an hour for a table. We noticed the restaurant was very warm as they didn't have air conditioning. Most of us ordered the Taiwanese fried chicken meal combo, which came with rice, a side of japchae and corn as well as a small bowl of soup. The chicken was good but not one of the best I've tried, and I enjoyed the sides. The food came quickly for some but one of our party had to wait a long time for their food, and it finally came once the rest of us were mostly finished. We also had to hunt down the waiter several times as they rarely visited our table, and so we spent half our time there with an empty water jug. To us, the quality of their food and service didn't warrant the long wait time, but we may visit again at a different time to try their other menu items.

Juju W.

Yelp
One of the best beef noodle soups. Big portion w lots chunks of beef. Noodles have a nice chew. Def recommended. The Taiwanese egg wrap is to die for! Wish to eat more of it!
google avatar

Oliver M.

Yelp
This is the restaurant which single handedly convinced me to visit Taiwan. The atmosphere is amazing, the staff are very friendly and most of all the food is delicious. I highly recommend getting the combo for two and there is SO MUCH food. For the appetizers in the combo for two, I highly recommend trying anything with tofu, I honestly never knew tofu can be used in so many different ways. The meat sauce on rice is highly worth the $5 extra as its mouth watering and tender and of course the fried chicken is done to perfection and not too greasy. Make sure to arrive somewhat earlier before the dinner rush as they do fill up super fast!
google avatar

Rosario M.

Yelp
NOTE: This is a Cash/Debit only restaurant. As visitors to Vancouver, we were not aware of this (no sign at the door or anywhere). Everything was sorted out in the end but do want to share so others are not put into the same spot. Came in on a Saturday evening (10 pm) and there were quite a few people - I guess this is a popular place in the area. We didn't have to wait long to be seated though, probably 5 min. We decided to do the 2 for $39.95 with the following: - Deep Fried Chicken Nuggets (this was spicy and similar to what I associate to popcorn chicken) - Braised Pressed Tofu - Preserved Egg in Spicy Sauce (Cold) - Spicy Pork Ear - 13 Spices Spicy Beef - Small bucket of rice All was delicious and OH SO SPICY but in a good way :)
google avatar

Dianna H.

Yelp
Note: cash or debit only! Great spot for Taiwanese food in Richmond! I came here for dinner on Saturday with a friend. The tables are very socially distanced here, so when we came at 6:30 there was a short wait. We probably waited 15 min or so to get seated. The menu is quite large here, but my friend has been here many times and knew exactly what to order. We shared: Deep fried preserved egg ($7.95) - huge portion for the price, but really good if you like preserved egg (pi dan)! Deep fried chicken steak with spiced soy sauce ($11.95) - my friend's favorite dish here and I completely understand why! The chicken was super tender and flavorful Beef sizzling plate with mushroom ($15.95) - loved this dish as well, I couldn't get over how tender the beef was The drink menu here is also huge, and after 10 pm all drinks are only $4. Not a bad place to come and hang with friends at night!
google avatar

Lilipad L.

Yelp
The flavor is a bit plain for some of the dishes we ordered. The pineapple shrimp fried rice was different and tasted good. The beef noodle broth are on the light sodium side - I personally would like the heavy seasoning. The pork belly texture is good but lack flavor and seasoning.

Yelp
I have been bookmarked this restaurant and wanted to try it long time ago. Indeed I came here for Taiwanese food a few years ago but it looked like the restaurant's name had been changed and a lot of things had been updated. I ordered takeout - deep fried chicken nuggets (regular) and signature meat sauce on rice as well as an oolong milk tea. Overall, I would say it's average meeting the minimum. There is a lot of improvements especially in terms of quality. The restaurant could have used better rice. The meat could have been cut smaller (because the meat is cut in smaller cubes and mixed with the sauce and laid on top of the rice). The signature meat sauce on rice was a combo. I guess the side dishes had been put together with the rice inside. They should have put them separately in a smaller container or a lunch box with individual sections (similar to the Japanese bento box). The oolong milk tea was average. Some bubble tea shops sell better ones than this one I purchased here. The deep fried chicken nuggets were okay. I had better ones. The pricing is average and reasonable. The customer service was great. Parking was great when I was there yesterday. Usually the parking lot outside the restaurant is always full. I guess due to the pandemic there was less customers; plus the weather was not nice yesterday.

Yelp
This place sure brings back fond memories of the shaved ice and savoury eats in Taiwan! With the extreme heat there we would make a shaved ice stop almost every day to cool off!!! And with Vancouver's summer weather ahead this is one you want to put on your list to try! We ordered the Brown Sugar Bbtea Shaved Ice + Deep Fried Chicken Nugget w/ Fried Rice. They have a great variety of Taiwanese dishes too aside from desserts, but the shaved ice most definitely stole the show with the beautifully layered, whip cream, pearls and toppings on the side! Everything was very reasonably priced and I enjoy the convenience of ordering your food through their app too!

Yelp
Formerly known as Strike, Micha is a great place for the Taiwanese food that we all know and love. I got the sizzling hot plate with sliced lamb and noodles and it was quite delicious! R got noodles with his popcorn chicken. The popcorn chicken was well flavoured and just the right amount of crispiness. Would recommend if in the Richmond area!
google avatar

Antonio M.

Yelp
A place where you will not be disappointed. Micha is a place that I've been going to for years and the quality of food has stayed consistent throughout. As a Taiwanese restaurant you will find favourites such as the fried chicken nuggets, sour and spicy noodle soup, and their signature beef sizzling plate. If you're in Richmond and haven't tried it, don't wait and just head over here already!
google avatar

Jenny Y.

Yelp
Micha, what a cute name! This place used to be called Strike. After renovation, it is now called Micha. I believe everything else is the same (haha, they still have the same "Strike" menu) - which is good! Oh wait, they might have remodeled the building. We came here strictly for their 50% off BBT after 10pm (dine in only) and $3.00 per drink for take out, additional $0.50 per topping. I ordered their sesame green milk tea drink with grass jelly. You may customize the sweetness and ice level to your liking. Also ordered their spicy beef fried rice to go. This was a yummy dish; mild spicy, not too oily, decent amount of meat. Minimal service contact, but the she was friendly and helpful. Did not take long for our order to be ready. As we were leaving, there was a long line out the door; place can get pretty busy after 10pm. It is definitely the late night hangout place. Debit and Cash only.

Brian L.

Yelp
Food was good but menu was a bit challenging to decipher. I think this would be a great place to go and share some dishes; it wasn't great for a solo diner wanting to try different things. Service is fast but somewhat impersonal (order on phone, hard to get questions answered, etc).
google avatar

Yelp
Food was so good!! We got the dinner set for 2. Great value for the food we received. Wish we can come back.

Yelp
Will have to go through my phone and pull more photos for review... not going to be redundant. Positive: They open late until 2am, free parking, can make dishes spicy and actually spicy to the point of uneatable. OK/negative: They try not to mess up your order (Language?) I asked for one vegetable that is not cabbage and she gave me cabbage, I didn't even touch the dish, and no there is no exchange even if it's not my fault. Not once but several times with other dishes as well. I've given up eating here unless you order the staples such as taiwanese popcorn chicken, beef noodle soup or a fried rice dish. Anything else that is not a norm, it is a gamble. Yes, they do BBT here. But! It's not to the standard like Baroness, Taan Char. Last note: CASH ONLY.

Ayf T.

Yelp
The environment is clean and comfortable. Food is excellent but the service is so-so. My friend went there as well and said the same thing. Hopefully they can improve their service and put more smile on their face.

Fran M.

Yelp
It was very busy when we went. We put our names on a list and waited for a bit before we were called. They had a wide selection but it seemed like most people got the popcorn chicken (chicken nuggets) and meat with rice (lu rou fan). We ordered through their website (QR code provided) and food came out super fast. Food was so good!! Loved the both dishes we ordered! It was more than enough for two people. Highly recommend.
google avatar

Ger T.

Yelp
Smart guys ! They've carved out a niche for themselves by offering some attractive meals for two , all for under $35 . And it's quite a bit of grub too . We get to choose one appy , three cold side dishes , and an entree with rice . You can also upgrade the plain rice to a Taiwanese braised pork-topped version for 5 bucks . No wonder there are so many couples dining here .
google avatar

Zach A.

Yelp
This place is fire. We got there right when it opened so we were lucky not to have to wait. A long line quickly formed cause this place is so popular. The meat plates are huge and tasty, but the highlight was the shaved ice.

Yelp
This is a nice Taiwanese restaurant, with good service and good food. They have a variety of items on the menu at affordable prices. To order, you scan a QR code on the table and you pick your items on the website. Afterwards you submit your order and the kitchen starts cooking your food. The food comes out pretty quick.

Yelp
A great Taiwanese spot with good food, device and decent pricing at a restaurant! They are BUSY and usually their are waitlists. We got their deep fried appetizers which were yummy (decent portions to share) and bubble tea. Would definitely come back and try their other food. I saw they had Taiwanese Oyster Vermicelli!

Yelp
I like this place because they have a $3 bubble tea take out special that Strike used to have. Actually, I can't tell if this place is still Strike but with a new name? The interior is huge and aesthetically really nice. I have yet to actually sit and eat, but it feels like a pretty typical HK/Taiwanese/Chinese late night hang out spot (SoHo, Flo, Bubble World). I always get the Wintermelon Milk Bubble Tea with pearls here because it's usually pretty late at night and a full on milk tea will riddle me with a caffeine high and hinder my sleeping. Pearls are delicious and consistent. A little disappointed with our service. We were asked to take a seat out of the way of the customers, and were directed towards the front area. We waited maybe 10-15 minutes thinking they'd come bring us our drinks, considering it was kind of slow.. Nope. Only after really wondering where the heck the drinks were (since we were told to get out of the way) did a friend go up and grab them. Not too impressed with that experience. Anyways, the drinks are good and cheap. If you miss the turn off on Garden City you kind of get a bit screwed and have to do a huge loop, so make sure you turn in at the autoshop and wind your way through the parking lot!

Yelp
Cute restaurant with great aesthetic and vibes! Easy to order off their menu with a QR code and their food is AMAZING. It was my husband and my first time there and don't regret it. We got the Meal for 2 deal, with popcorn chicken, spicy pig ears, pig ears, braised tofu, and braised pork belly. Delicious flavor, fresh ingredients and genuine flavor. Drinks: I got an oolong milk tea with boba, 70% sweet and my husband got just the oolong tea 70% sweet. I thought my drink was a bit too sweet and his drink was not sweet enough... strange lol. Their boba also has the perfect QQ texture. We only visit Richmond once in a blue moon (we're from the US), but this experience has made Micha part of our regular rotation. We will be coming back!

Yelp
Great place group dinners, family dinners, perfect place to come for Taiwanese food in Richmond. My family and I came to Micha when we were craving to eat something Taiwanese. Micha used to be the restaurant Strike, and I think they renovated the inside and rebranded the menu to Micha. We got the "2 people combo value set" and we shared it between the 4 of us with some leftover of the rice at the end. In the set, we chose the deep fried salty popcorn chicken, their chicken tasted really good, just like the ones in Taiwan. We got the marinated appetizer trio of the pork ear, marinated tofu and pork intestine. For the rice, we upgraded the rice to the large Taiwanese Marinated Pork rice, and the bowl came in such big portion that I think it's more than enough for 4 people to share. As a side, we also got the beef noodle soup to try out. The noodle was thick, had a nice chew, soup broth was really flavourful, not too spicy either. Really love their food overall! Yelp
Really enjoyed the brown sugar bubble tea ice plate and the popcorn chicken. Will definitely go back to try the other items. Not too expensive either.

Yelp
Really really enjoyed this place! It's essentially a taiwanese joint and I think they're under the same franchise as Strike! Their snacks like the salty pepper chicken, and the beef onion pancake wrap were so good :) I wouldn't definitely come here just to chill and snack again. Their restaurant layout is really nice as there are actually bigger tables that fit families on the other end of the restaurant which help separate noise-- although it's not even a very noisy place to begin with. Excited to come back and try their mains next time!
