Peace. I'm not sure of the young woman's name who assisted with the children's craft event this morning but she was amazing. She was sweet, hands on and super helpful. Me and my family enjoyed ourselves a lot. And can hardly wait for the next event. Thank you guys for an amazing time. We love Michael's 💗✨️

You need to change the employees there. Twice I’ve been and there is an employee that acts like she doesn’t want to be there. So damn rude when you come in then argues with you about getting points on a purchase. It’s not like I’m taking money from her. It’s not my fault she has to work there and acts like she doesn’t want to be there. Do better! This store used to be so pleasant to go there.

I came here specifically to get balloons inflated with helium. Price is competitive with other stores, though Dollarama remains king. However, Dollarama would only inflate their own balloons. The staff were friendly and helpful. They took the time to add ribbon to each balloon I brought and included a heavy clip to keep the balloons from flying away.

If you like crafting projects and love Pinterest, then this is the place for you! They have everything you need to make your very own Pinterest fail. The store is very well organized and clean. The store decorates according the the holiday or season and puts displays out feature finished crafting projects you can make on your own. If you need the equipment to make a cool looking decorations or just the items to make them, make your first stop Michaels.

Are you serious, there are no price tags, to find out the price you need to go to the checkout, invite the seller to go with her to the product, take the product you are interested in, go to the checkout and go put it back, I will never go back 👎👎👎

Compared to other Michaels this one seems to be going out of business, way too many empty shelves, really low selection of yarns and no fabrics, they have only 2 staff members.

I come to this location to buy things various times, many times I come across real good employees, willing to help. But then there are times I notice you get the look from some, that don’t want to help, and will run off as you start coming their way, to avoid being to stopped to assist you. Some Home Depots are the same way, when it comes to the workers disappearing, because they don’t want to help. I would like to recognize Ms.Meagan who I came in to search for a magnifying glass, she was very kind and had a very pleasant demeanor, and showed that she was willing to help. There was a lady in the fabric department, showed me by her body language, and when approaching to ask her for help, she really didn’t want to assist me. She did tell me where to go and look. But I can tell she didn’t want to be bothered. 5 stars to Ms.Meagan for making my experience a better one.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I was surprised to read the other reviews on here and the horrible customer service they both received at this location of Michaels. I have been here four of five times now in the last five months. The workers have been nice and are always stocking something or another in the store. It has never been as crowded as any of the other locations I have been to, but I love the layout of the store itself. It has an open concept design, with lower shelving and things organized in a very aesthetic feel (colorful rainbows, things unboxed and laid on displays, clear signs hanging from ceiling above sections to clearly show what is in each area.) There is a little studio in the very front of the store where mini classes could be held and was super cute. Directly when you walk in, there are seasonal items on display to the front and left of the doors. To the right of the entryway is the checkout lanes and the more themed seasonal decorations with more display shelves to give customers an idea of how the new seasonal decor can be used together to decorate your home (i.e. pink themed Halloween decorations or farmhouse Christmas.) I did not have anything for returns or curbside pickup here, so I cannot attest to the customer service of the managers here. There was always one person assigned to the cash register while the other employees busied themselves with unboxing or organizing, so checkout was always speedy. I did have issue with using my member rewards cash back thing in that it didn't get scanned correctly and I did not get to use my $5...but I do not know of that was a user error on my part or theirs. I had never used them in store before and it was a lot harder to claim than using it online, which was unfortunate. It should just show up in your wallet section like it does in other apps when you get cash rewards.

Just like the other Yelp reviewer, I had a similar experience. Company policy states they will accept a return without receipt just need valid ID. I called and they confirmed I could return. Get to store with return, all of which is unopened and still packaged. Employee finds item for a little less than purchased. It's fine because I know I don't have receipt. I said store credit is okay. Then along comes manager Jennifer, who by the way didn't want to give me her name so I had to read her badge.. like how unprofessional. She states that she will not accept my return bc she can't find my receipt??? I told her store credit is fine for the lower amount as stated in company policy bc I have no use for these items anymore. She said she can refuse for whatever reason she wants.. so I asked what's her reason??! She said she didn't have to have one and it's in fine print on the website?? I could only wonder if I would've been treated differently if I were older and resembled her. Very disappointed in my customer service as I'm a long time shopper or Michael's. You really have to be careful who you hire because hobby lobby and Joanne's can definitely take my business. This location needs to value their customers. There is too much competition out here for y'all to give customers a hard time. They contradict store policy which is alarming.

Hello everyone, I want to share my experience at Michael's in Richmond TX, where I live. I placed an order about two weeks ago to have a canvas painting framed. The attendant was still learning about her position and helped as much as she could. She called her manager at home to assist her with my request. Every frame I wanted was not in their system, so I finally found one I liked along with a mat. I was excited to pick it up this coming Saturday; however, I received a call yesterday from someone at the store asking me to come in. At the time I did not understand the issue. After getting there the same person who assisted me was there and she didn't know why nor who called me. Guys, all I wanted was my canvas art framed. I was told we wont charge you any additional fees. Well okay, that sounds great, but I'm getting less. No mat and a cheaper frame. So, I asked for the reminder to be refunded. It was only $4.22. While waiting I thought about the service, then waiting 2 days prior to the date I was scheduled to pick up the finished product, and the rudeness from one of their managers, Andy. When Andy was trying to figure out how to refund me $4.22 I began to ask a question and he was rude again. This is when I decided to cancel my order and ask for a full refund of over $200. I was advised by the manager " Ma'am we can only refund you the amount of the frame, not the tax " . I was upset and asked why. Like any normal human being. There was no reason to my understanding why I paid one amount and no work was done, and it wasn't my fault the art could be framed per my order. The manager didn't want to give me a full refund. I then raised my voice and said I am not leaving without my full refund. Andy, the manager said " Ma'am I'm going to call the police if you don't stop raising your voice. Of course I didn't and advised him to call the police. Why is it that" some" people think calling the police on a black person will solve an issue, when all I wanted was a full refund. After, I began my FB live and recorded him, he then decided to give me a full refund. Michael's it's time to have sensitivity training for your employees. This type of treatment is totally unacceptable. Thanks for my refund and you just lost all of my business and hopefully others.
