To who it may concern. I was just a few minutes ago at this store buying a small frame and I was having issues with the automatic cashier machine. I called the employee cashier that was there telling her I needed help. She told me to do what the machine was telling me to do and I told her the machine was saying “A team member was needed” she kept replying that I was doing something wrong and to do what the machine was telling me to do and I kept telling her that the machine says “A team member was needed” She came and she told me that I was doing wrong, then I told her I am not supposed to know what to do because I don’t work for Michael I don’t have to know that, I told her I was a costumer and I needed help which she replied she doesn’t care, that she was only employee working on the floor and she is a person and I was rude to her. I answer back that I was never rude to her and she said that I was raising my voice to her. I raised my voice out of frustration because she kept telling me more than twice that I was supposed to do what the machine was telling me to do. The machine said “A team member was needed” She kept telling me that she was the only person working on the floor and I told her that is not my concern that Michael needs to hire more people to help customers and then she told me to leave which I told her. “ Trust me I am leaving and I am not going to be back to that place because is terrible. I was treated badly by one of your employees and she was very disrespectful at me. Your employees need to be better trained when treating customers. The way she treated me was very unprofessional and arrogant. I am not happy at all with what happened and a place I used to love like Michaels I no longer recommend it.

It is beyond my understanding how a store like this has no toilet paper for customers and refused to help as obviously they must have it in their restrooms otherwise how do they wipe themselves! The women’s restroom was disgusting with a toilet full of feces, and even after speaking with the employee and the manager it was to no avail. They lost a pretty good customer.

Staff attentive to a point, but not enough personnel. Only 2 registers opened out of 6; wait time a little long; checkout process pretty fast; cashier friendly. Organized and clean store. No public bathroom available. Take advantage of coupons and specials. Parking may not be close to the store due to sharing parking lot with the shopping center.

Great place to find many things for crafts!!! The problem is that that don’t have people around to help you, maybe it was too late 6pm , but I should recommend to open something close to brickell or wyndwood is too far ;)

This is the michaels by my house, and as an arts and crafts enthusiast, naturally, im always here. It is so nice that they are pet friendly, or at least the manager on duty this night was. As kong as my puppy stayed in a cart, they let us in! I really appreciate places tht allow our furry friends to come in with us, otherwise my mom wouldve had to wait outside. As for the staff, they are nice and particularly young. This means that they may not have much customer service experience and I don't think they receive much training. Like all retail, it's a hit or miss with who you check out with. The good part about this store is like 6 or 7 self chrckout machines that were incorporated, then you dont have to talk to anyone! unless you need help then goodluck with that!

Upon entering the store, a sign said, "Scan this code....get 20 percent off." Selected package ties and 2 bags of candy, totalling $13.20. But couldn't use coupon! Manager, using her own cellphone, somehow got me the discount on the ties, but not candy. Companies wonder why they're losing customers. They've forgotten adages as "Most purchases are on impulse.... customer is always right...we spend millions on advertising....don't quibble over a few dollars and permanently lose a customer." Another wise saying would be, "Quit playing around with these cellphone apps and gimmicks!" They're just irritating. I ended up not buying the candy. When she asked me, "Would you like to become a member?" I said "You're kidding! I've already wasted 30 minutes to save 60 cents. "

Cashier Bella & manager Chris are RUDE to customers. Tried to make a return, like I have a million times in the past, and brought the incorrect receipt. Luckily, I am a Michaels Rewards member so this is an easy fix ... so I thought. Bella proceeded to interrupt me multiple times throughout the process when I was asking what information I could provide to her, was frustrated and clearly did not know what was going on. When manager Chris arrived, I tried to explain what the situation was so that he could resolve it. Mind you, I did this in a regular almost quiet tone. He then proceeded, to my FACE, to tell me he doesn't like helping "pesadas". I truly was in shock.. Not only had I been patient as this whole debacle took 20 minutes to resolve but I was trying to be helpful and understanding of the situation. Once he said that he found another employee with pink hair who was able to assist and resolve the issue immediately. If the manager is too inept to make a return and does not know how to behave with the general public then maybe this is not the job for him. I will continue to be taking my business to other Michael's locations that are much cleaner and the staff is competent.

Secondly, I Just wasted my time because they don't take Apple Pay and they couldn't take my card number manually because "they'd get in trouble" The cashier working today 11/20 @ 7:30pm asked a manager and he said no. The only reason I am giving my experience a 3 star is due to the kindness , professionalism and positive attitude Robby and Hannah expressed during my visit today. Robby , I thank you for being a humble and genuine human being which is difficult to find in this city now a days. To the narcissistic, condescending and arrogant "store manager" Rei with the unwarranted superiority complex , consider finding employment where customer service or speaking in general is NOT a requirement. Michaels is not the stage for your alter ego which was evident in your demeanor. You approached me with suggestive language that my purchase was stolen. You in no way tried to help me , and repeatedly said your genetic response of " I'm just following protocol " to avoid assisting me further. You walked away and left Hannah and Robby to solve the issue I was having with my return. Shame on you for passing judgement on an honest customer in front of her child who was simply trying to return a legitimate purchase. Although I understand employees must follow protocol to secure their employment , dismissing authentic customer concerns and walking away instead of finding a solution , is a personality trait of poor taste , and lack of class. Rei , I hope one day you find true happiness. It's quite obvious you are not. To Robby , Hannah and the gentleman who assisted me over the phone , God bless you for willingness to assist me today.

I don't think I have found a Michael's store I do not like... and perhaps (thankfully) I never will. I went into this Michael's store because I had some time to kill before a yelp event. Like any other Michael's store, they have a wide variety of arts and craft supplies for purchase. This Michael's store also has a large amount of christmas deco at affordable prices if you need to buy some this holiday season. As always Michael's is one of my go to stores whenever I feel creative. I love Michaels.

I love this store. The only thing I don't love is how much I spend when Im there. OMG! The staff is very helpful and willing to do everything possible for the guest to be satisfied. If you sign up you will get great deals and discounts now and then. I have used a couple of those, they always come in handy.

Michaels is an arts & crafts supply store. I don't particularly enjoy coming to this store because parking is difficult to find, the store is usually overcrowded and the merchandise is sometimes disorganized. There is a messy feel to this place. However, I was looking for cellophane wrapping paper and couldn't find it in walmart so I had to come get it at this place. When I can't find something I usually ask the staff and they are generally very knowdgeleable and helpful. Overall, the store has items that cannot be found anywhere else.

This is probably my least favorite Michael's in Miami-Dade. Holiday season only exacerbates these feelings. While I do give stars for how organized the store is (before weekend rushes and customers just leave everything wherever they please and crash carts into displays), I am annoyed by the store's management and how narrow these aisles are. No two carts at a time. It's hard to find team members on the floor when you need help, and the registers are always, undeniably understaffed. I'm typing this review in the 22-person deep line that wraps around Christmas displays. I'm like, 11th in line and have been here for 15 minutes already. And yet, only 3 registers are open. I see more team members than that at the registers, but they are doing managerial things like flipping through binders and subtly eyeballing the ever growing line. I just want my fake flowers.

Horrible cashier named Indira register 8. I need to have a paper receipt. The cashier decided NOT to give me one. She said that when using a Rewards card there is no receipt because it is emailed. That is not true. Customers have the option to get a paper receipt or not. I asked her to get the manager so the manager, Maria,, could email that to her but the manager was not available. When the manager called her on the phone to ask what she needed the cashier simply said I asked for the manager. I explained to the cashier the only reason I needed the manager was to get my receipt and not because I wanted to see her. I told her all she had to do was cancel the sale and ring it up again (she couldn't figure this out on her own). When the manager asked her if she still needed her to come to the register the cashier said that she no longer needed her because she had figured it out. At no point did she apogee. I said thank you but she didn't even say your welcome. Very rude. Very inept and untrained cashier.

I have a question to the manager.... maybe im wrong. If I can buy online and pick up at the store, is not the same if I buy at the store..? Can someone please explain to me why I can buy online at $5.99 but I can NOT buy at the store with the same price? I went to buy at the store but one of the person in charge, not the manager, not the cashier, just some else, couldn't sell me at $5.99 if they have the product that I will buy "online"...?

This store is a disaster. I was in the store the weekend after thanksgiving and of course it was mobbed. I saw they were offering a 40% off coupon if you bought online and picked up in store. I literally put back the items I was planning to purchase and did the order online instead since that's a pretty big savings. In most stores that offer order pickup things are usually ready right away or within a few hours. I received an email several hours later that my order was ready. When I went to pick it up days later, I stood in the regular line because there was no signage to indicate where items are supposed to be picked up. I waited for my turn only to be told that the pickup is in the back towards the frames. When you get to that counter, there is an arrow pointing to the left right next to the bathrooms and a storage room that is not staffed by anyone. I tried pushing the button for help and no one came. I finally found an employee and someone came to assist. At this point I discovered that my order was wrong. I was livid. Especially because I had gone out of my way to come to the store before the expiration date. Daniela did her best to assist and she was very apologetic but it wasn't her fault either. I wasn't leaving the store without proof of a full refund and I waited to receive the email I was supposed to get, indicating that the order was not fulfilled and that I wouldn't be charged, but after 10 minutes of waiting the email never came. She assured me that I should have only been charged when the order was actually picked up but I didn't believe her. I was tired of waiting and decided to just leave and deal with arguing with michaels corporate later, if the charge did show up. What a headache!!!

I want to give THIS Michael's location 5 stars after having gone to the one in Fort Lauderdale. No reps on the floor to assist, and when I was checking out, I asked the cashier if SHE had the 40% off coupon... Her reply, you should have it! So I said, everytime I go to the Michael's of Flagler Street in Miami, the cashier always has one, her reply: - they're not supposed to do that -, instead of giving it to me. Then I asked, she denied it, repeating like a parrot; they're not supposed to do that!!! Worst customer service in all the Michael's I've ever been in the USA! Kudos to MY Flagler store, keep up that amazing, friendly, happy and customer oriented service. I'll never go back to the Fort Lauderdale one. Regards, Loyal Michael's customer.

I'd been to the Michael's at Dadeland Station on a few occasions, was working on a project and decided to stop at this store since I was going to be in this general area. I'm glad I did! This store is much larger than the one at Dadeland Station, has a larger variety of items, and a greater stock of each type of item they carry. I've purchased everything here from specialty paints that give glass jars a frosted appearance to painting and poster frames to prints to gingerbread houses to candles to baskets and home decor items. I even found a replacement clasp here to repair a piece of jewelry that I liked but required repair. Michael's has decent sales on occasion and the last few times I've checked out, I've been given 40% off 1 item coupons for use within the following week. This same plaza also has a JoAnn Fabrics and a store that sells fairly respectable looking paintings and artwork.

Love my crafts! This Michael's is surprisingly complete and easy to get around. Whenever I need anything its always in stock. They have everything from art supplies, scrap booking, to seasonal decor, to jewelry making supplies. Service isn't great but its not expected in the area it is in anyway. I recommend you park towards the end of the lot, things can get tight next to the store.

There's always a set of perfect supplies here to release whatever creative artistic rendering you're working on. From simple projects to advanced crafts, Michaels is the spot to get started at. There's so many possibilities that people come here to stock up on supplies to fulfill but my favorite is painting. I pick up a few canvasses from time to time and dedicate my time to creating something. That's why Michaels is great because even if it's just your kids boring science project that you happened to find out about in the 11th hour ur whether it's a lengthy project dear to your heart-the supplies are here. There's always a random perk at checkout if you use your Michaels app so download it prior to getting inside the store because the service is a little sketchy and honestly the savings are worth it. During the end of the year, there's plenty of decor throughout the store but I come for the art supplies.

So I'm that type of girl that if you let me loose in here I will get distracted and buy things I don't even need and go aisle to aisle looking at cool art stuff. Geez I wish I could just buy the store but I can't. Anyways, went in to buy items to make a diaper cake and also a mask for my daughters show. Everything was in stock and I love that you can ask the staff any question and they usually know the answer and if they don't they find out for you. Some of those staff members are very crafty and know their stuff. Love that! Love the fact that they always offer coupons online which could be a big money saver!

Not my favorite Michael's, but it's next to Joann so it's nice to hit up both places at once. The selection isn't that large because it's a pretty small store. I've had issues returning items because I didn't have the original credit card (stolen) and they wanted to give me store credit. The parking lot is horrible; small spaces and people don't know how to park. I feel like there's a high chance my car can be hit here.

Michaels...how I love you Michaels! You see, I love scrapbooks. I love Holiday Decorations. I LOVE vases. Where can you get these things? At Michaels! I've been to both the Kendall locations and this one. Both locations in Kendall are smaller and dimmer (don't know why) than this location. Plus, this one is near my home so...it wins! In all honesty, I love their large selection of scrapbooks and stickers. They have a ton of photo albums and picture frames. I take pictures sometimes and frame them. I always find that this is the cheapest and most varied place to go for those kinds of needs. I spend hours looking over their merchandise. It's overwhelming! Since last year, I have started a collection of holiday decorations as well. I got a ton of stuff after Christmas and Halloween for half the price! I truly love Michaels, although it is unwise for me to come to this store seeing as I always spend a lot of money when I do.

What a nightmare. Nearly everything I was looking for was "out of stock" but after searching for a sales associate for over 10 minutes I found out that it wasn't out of stock at all, it was all just in a drawer below the shelves. Why weren't some of the MOST POPULAR baking supplies restocked? Beats me. At least the employees were nice, and helpful once I finally tracked one down. It's not the most convenient Michaels for me, so I doubt I'll be back unless I'm in the area for some reason. Side note: parking was a disaster. Nearly got hit three times in the parking lot because people don't look when they back up.

I love that I have a Michael's literally five minutes from my apartment. It's so awesome (and dangerous for my wallet). The times I've stopped in, I've found that they have a great variety of products in stock. The only complaint I'd have with this particular location is that it's a completely different layout than any of the other Michaels' I've been in... but hey, a girl can learn.

I really never cared much about Michaels until I started planning a wedding. As you may or may not know when you are planning a wedding every penny earned means a lot. I needed some voltive candles for my wedding and came here to see if they had them and they did! ON top of that my mom found 40% off coupons online. I think they do this ever week so check your papers or even online and print one before going it'll save you a bundle. Anyhow, I went back today because we wanted a few frames for our house and found them here buy 1 get 1 free. They have a lot of wedding and party stuff so I recommend you search here. Other than Im sure you've all been to Michaels, not much more I can say.

I am an arts & crafts maven, and Michaels- Arts & Craft is my second home. They have everything needed to spend a weekend at home making crafts and gifts. Fabric-- they have it! Crafting scissors- Check! Baskets- aplenty! Frames- fully stocked! Scrapbooking materials-- definitely! I even organized a whole party with the items you could find at Michaels, and here they have elaborate and beautiful invitations. I will definitely come here for my arts & crafts needs. And the adventure continues...

I love art and crafts and the freedom it gives me to be creative, and this store carries almost everything I could possibly think of to fulfill my passion BUT the customer service is HORRIBLE. The employees are rude as hell and extremely unhelpful and their advertisement are misleading partially do to the fact that everything is unorganized! I came in here yesterday, spent about two hours looking for everything I needed and left w/ a headache and a bad mood! I love Michaels but will not return to this location!

I was asked to get a few items so my kids school and I was closer to this location that my normal local so I checked it out. At first I was impressed by some items they carry that aventura does not. BUT when a area I was looking in was congested I parked the cart off to the side and searched for items. When I came back, my arms full MY CART WAS GONE. ...... WITH MY LIST IN THE CART!!! I asked a man who looked like he was the manager he briefly helped look for it and just said no it's not here. So obviously someone restocked it. He said he asked and no one said they did, then started to give me attitude! Here I am no items no list and can't remember what was on it. The cart was restocked which is just rediculious it was unattended no more than 3-4 min. Just not a good experience. If you are a browser don't go there or they WILL restock your cart! On the way out another lady let me know the same thing happened to her a few months ago.
