Michaels

Very clean store with a good selection of inventory for each holiday. Definitely more holiday decor that crafting supplies. Biggest issue is there are no prices on anything. They have discounts throughout the store but no way to tell what the original price is. You have to either check the website or bother a store associate for almost every single item. Friendly staff and plenty of parking out front.

I went to return an Amazon package because Michael's is a UPS drop off. I haven't been in the store for a while, I was an AC Moore customer for a long time. I was pleasantly surprised at how well-stocked, clean, easy to check out and how helpful and knowledgeable the staff were. If I ever have a lull in creativity all I have to do is walk these aisles. I definitely spotted a couple of things I'm coming back for.

I go here all the time with my kids, the other morning I took my kids and my 4 yo wouldn't listen to me kept standing up in the cart and of course we go to check out and she falls out! She was ok, but the lovely staff was so caring and thoughtful checked on us and I just want to tell the woman with the blonde hair at the register whoever you are, you're so thoughtful and patient and I appreciated you so much in that moment! Thank you guys for being awesome and my kids love our Michaels adventures to get painting supplies! It's our favorite place

I have always liked a jaunt through Michaels...even if I am not looking for anything in particular. Still, I always seem to find bargains and leave with something! This time, I went in particularly to find decorative hat boxes...round or square. I have always been able to find them here. Surprisingly (after searching the shelves for a while), I was told that Michael's no longer carries these boxes, and if they do, it would only be at the holidays! I was very disappointed. I am visiting from out of state and was SURE I could find what I needed here, but...no such luck! Yes, I did leave with 'something', but it definitely was not what I came in for!

It's a typical big box crafts store. I wouldn't think too much about it. It is easy to access and clean.

Had somethings framed by Ryan just recently, the experience was so nice! Ryan was able to walk me through every detail and answer all of my questions without hesitation. Very helpful, considerate and informative!

I sat in the car but not for long and my wife came out very happy. Win win!!

Great for all your crafting needs and holiday decor

For yarn, they have a great selection. Prices are great. It's my go-to store. The staff is very helpful.

Stopped in Michaels because I am getting back into painting and needed all new supplies. They were having a sale which was cool and helped to lower the hit to my pockets as art supplies aren't cheap LOL! I was able to get all my canvases, paints, brushes, storage bags, easel and watercolor paper as well for what I thought was a great deal. I had to self navigate throughout the store and find answers to my questions on my own as there weren't any sales people on the floor. The line to checkout was long as there were only 2 registers open but my cashier was super friendly and empowered to make decisions as there was a price error and he was able to correct it without having to call anyone.

Went in with the intention of purchasing some ribbon. Saw a bunch placed on a shelf labeled "clearance $1.49" Went to the register and the ribbon rang up for full price. The helpful cashier and her colleague both said it should be $1.49. However the manager, Diana, would not override the price. She was insistent that even though the ribbon was placed in the sale section they should be full price. Needless to say, I walked out empty handed. Her lack of customer service and the store disorganization was appalling.

Called to ask a question and the employee who answered was quite rude on the phone ignoring my follow up questions and quickly hanging up. I received no help.

I've always had the best luck with this store! Great floral selection and they offer military discount unlike a lot of other places. My go to place for anything crafty.

I was told on the phone that they had soy wax. I drove 20 miles to realize that I had been misinformed. They had nothing of the kind. Also whomever had answered the phone wouldn't admit to taking the call. AC Moore from now on!
