I always have such a great experience getting custom framing done at this Michael’s! Zoe and Ricky helped me out today and were absolutely awesome—they helped me frame my new artwork, and it turned out beautifully. Every detail is perfect! Highly recommend visiting this location if you need custom framing done.

Google
The yarn section here is great. This is one of very few locations that picked up the Joannes yarn brands and didn’t place them in some dark unlit corner. I just wished they had more sales on yarn. Definitely worth the drive from my local Micheals

Bella CM

Google
Came to pick up an online order. Helpful employees.

Google
I’d like to thank Zoe for providing my elderly father with a chair and placing him near AC so he could catch his breath and relax while he shopped. We truly appreciate it! You are Awesome Zoe. Also a suggestion; maybe if y’all could have more places in the store for elderly people to sit or have an electric chair option that would be great. Love the store clean and friendly staff.

Excellent service, selection and parking. Will be back soon

I like to buy craft supplies from here, especially art supplies. However, their yarn section is quite expensive and not very diverse. They don’t have a big selection of chunky yarn (their colors are usually not very bright). If you’re buying jumbo size yarn, I would recommend to buy it at hobby lobby - they are usually on sale and it’s better quality in my opinion. I don’t like that at Michael’s they put out yarn in a box with a big sign of 12.99 as if they were on sale. Turns out they are never on sale tbh. Other than that, I like the location. It’s safe and nice.

Google
Love coming here for almost anything, especially gallery frames, ribbon, even chocolate bars and Twizzlers. Good mix of craft, games, and inspiration for taking up a new hobby.

I came in to purchase some sale items, and when I was checking out, the items scanned at an incorrect price. I notified a staff member who was able to correct the problem quickly. I was very grateful to receive such excellent customer service.

Yelp
Michaels was my first choice for crafts and related items since it was closest to my apartment 5 years ago. Now i know there are other stores too, but Michaels still feels like home- familiar and comfortable . The store has so much to offer and it surprises me every-time. I needed to buy some buttons to enhance my new blouse while making it more modest to my taste. And lo- Michael's not only had a decent collection of buttons but also sewing threads in a variety of colors. That saved me a browsing session with Amazon as I Always prefer to touch and feel my purchases rather than sit before a laptop with an inch tape in hand ..... which, btw, I find it very funny The shop assistant was very knowledgeable, she knew exactly while aisle I needed. That's very impressive. Let me hope that I will frequent Michael's more often with more diy projects. (wink !) While u r there, chk out the clearance, sometimes some really good to-go gift ideas pop up there at throw away prices.

Yelp
In my opinion, this Michaels at Weslayan Plaza did not welcome old men. Reason? I can't find the restroom. I didn't ask anyone because I couldn't find anyone. As I walked around to see what kinds of frames they got, I actually want to come back because they got more stuff than the one I usually go in Westchase area. Because I left disappointed, I went to Ross to get cheaper picture frames. Sorry bud.

Yelp
Waited in line 9 months pregnant with one person at the register for 10 minutes. So I go to a self check out and was told by a manager that the fabric barcodes don't work in self check out so I stand behind the current person in line when the register person asks me to go to the end of the line because the person behind me "has been patiently waiting." Meanwhile the manager is standing there not offering to help by getting behind a register or anything. I waited another 10-15 minutes. I will not be coming back to this location ever.

Yelp
There aren't many craft stores around, so I enjoy browsing at Michael's every so often. They have materials for the artists but sell items for people who like to knit, make soaps/candles, design and make T-shirts, frame photos or artwork, decorate homes, and even make candy making and baking, etc. They always have seasonal items too. Kids probably love the toys and kits catered to youngsters. It sure is fun to browse for inspiration and for fun! The only downside is that Michael's isn't cheap, but check their website for coupons (usually a 20% off a single item) :D The workers have always been pleasant, and the store is usually relatively neat and organized. They recently added self checkout machines, which have been fun and fast to use!

Yelp
Perfectly average Michael's store to get your crafting supplies at Parking: There's tons of parking in the shopping center. However overall the lot gets pretty busy! There are a few pickup and go spots near the front entrance. Variety/items: Like all craft places they already have Christmas over powering Halloween. Their Halloween section is a little bland this year but they do still have major discounts (50%) on Halloween items. They also seem to have a good variety of the usual crafting things. Overall everything is organized well and it's a pretty clean store. Bathrooms: The bathrooms are not so inviting in my opinion. The women's restroom was quite dark and dingy - it was also out of toilet paper and didn't feel particularly clean. Framing: I specifically was here to pickup a framed art piece and the framing department was great. The 2 associates I worked with (one at drop off and one at pickup) were very helpful and nice. They talked about options with me and both times stepped up when they noticed the line was getting long. I'll definitely be back here for the framing section again

Yelp
Expensive for quality and variety offering. I tried to support the business but ended up having to shop online instead

Yelp
Dhani is the best manager that this particular Michael's has ever had!!!! I've been going to this store since it opened way back when. He has a great group of sales associates working with him. Always so helpful and quick to help you check prices or walk you to a product you are looking for.

Yelp
This Michaels is like most others you will find around; good selection of craft and decor items, usually on sale if you time it right (ex: all Fall decor was 60% off when we went yesterday, second weekend of October). This store has made all of its cashier lanes self-checkout, which is a clever way to have patrons do the work of employees. The set up is a bit annoying as there is not enough room for all of the things you buy (maybe just a me problem) and to bag, wrap, whatever you need to do.

Yelp
Between Madonna's albums, Prince's albums, and Jacko's albums, I far and away and by a massive distance prefer Michael's. However, when it comes to arts and crafts I'm less certain. Barbi likes this arts and crafts store, and usually I would give them three because they're expensive and they're a big chain, but this specific location is usually where Barbi comes for her needs, and so I'll give them an extra star because she thinks they have decent service, and usually aren't out of the things she needs for knitting (yes there is a porn star who knits and it's my porn star, naturally, don't tell anyone I told you she knits it's not good for her image she says), and whatever else she's up to.

Patricia P.

Yelp
Everybody in here is rude. All 3 team members I saw. We asked one where to find some snow spray and she gave us attitude when she responded. They also had no bags to put our stuff we bought in and it felt like we were being rushed. There was also a lady next to us waiting for her son to bring her something from inside and the guy told her she can start scanning her stuff already as if saying hurry up..... if anybody here that was working was a manager last night you should consider working somewhere else because you and your team have no customer service. At least fake it

Lawrence B.

Yelp
Janice in the frame department was very patient and helpful. they were super busy but she took the time out to make sure I had the perfect gift! thank you Janice for your customer service

Ashley A.

Yelp
Recently visited Michale's manager that was in her working hours was very very rude she is African- American. This experience left me feeling frustrated and undervalued as a customer. I suggest that this store provide better training for their employees on customer service skills. She should not have that position as a manager if she doesn't know how to do customer service, very very rude and disrespectful, never purchasing at this location again.
google avatar

Jonquil J.

Yelp
The store was nice and clean, I was able to find and purchased exactly what I needed. I love the self check outs it keeps you for not having to wait in line. I would definitely recommend and will return for my craft items.

Skyler B.

Yelp
I come here because it's the closest to my home and I typically come to get out of the house/browse fun projects or get ideas and enjoy the AC. However out of the dozen+ times I've been here, I can only think of two genuinely good experiences. 1) A younger male associate helped me find some air dry clay which had somehow been pushed to the far (FAR) back of the bottom shelf (got on his hands and knees to look even) and he found it - gets an A+ in effort and politeness. 2) A manager who was restocking shelves stopped what he was doing to come help me find some items because I was in a huge hurry - absolutely kind and genuine seeming guy. We chatted while finding items and he even price adjusted a miss-marked item for me. Apparently corporate isn't giving them enough hours to go around and keeping talented staff is damn near impossible - which I believe because..... Other than these two specific situations - the folks there are either sad/clearly not enjoying working there, or VERY rude/having a bad day and are happy to make it YOUR PROBLEM. They also recently installed self-check out - which is a joke. If you want me to work there, you need to pay me. I do not come to shop to do my own checkout and bagging (heaven forbid you ask a human to ring you up - they'll make zero attempt to hide how annoyed they are). Michael's - give your stores more hours to keep the stores looking nice, to prevent staff turnover, and so they can actually help folks. You WILL see an increase in sales. No one provides service these days - it will make you stand out in a good way for once. Also maybe invest in some customer service and general etiquette training....

Annie A.

Yelp
Only one competent person working in the custom framing department on a Friday afternoon. He was clearly overwhelmed by a customer with a huge stack of stuff to frame. They had no one else who could (or would) help with a simple order for two custom mats. A very unhelpful man was summoned to help the lady in front of me who just had to pick up an order, but he said he could not help with a mat order (and wasn't terribly polite about it either). Since I did not have all day to wait (who does?), I left, went home and ordered two very nice mats from matboardandmore.com. Took me about 10 minutes--highly recommended. Michaels, Idk why you can never adequately staff the framing department. I prefer to shop locally but you made that impossible today--and you wasted an hour of my day driving over there, waiting, and driving home empty-handed.

Lyndsay L.

Yelp
The framing team has been so incredibly helpful and kind. Huge shoutout to the two gentleman that work there and dry mounted posters for me.

Yelp
We dropped a 58X48 400.00 canvas print to be stretched, cross braced and install a hanger. We picked out, and paid for a heavy duty frame because of its size. They told us it could be picked up two weeks later. We were called and have the VM that ask for another week so they could have two pop people present to stretch it properly. Ok...no big deal. We picked it up today and to say Micheal's Craft department got nothing correct is an understatement....they literally got nothing right...not the heavy duty frame we bought, NO bracing, NO hanger and it was NOT stretched. Nothing correct! They had used staples and a small light frame. We asked to speak with the store manager to discuss the quality and that's when it got even worse. No we were not happy and the store manager wouldn't even look at it. He just told the girl to give us our money back. I repeatedly ask him if this was the quality and service he would be happy with. Pretty much no response. I picked it up to lay on the counter to take a closer look with my wife standing beside me and the store manager started accusing me of trying to hit him with the print??? I was like really? You were 3-4 feet away. Then he told me to get out of his store. At this point, I did ask if he was truly the store manager? Because I couldn't believe his actions. When asked for his name and store number he would only give me his first name (Brian) then he told me the "wrong" store number I later discovered. Needless to say we want be shopping at Micheal's. We got a DYI framing kit for 60.00 and we are 100% positive we can do it better at home in the garage than the largest framing company in the US. Please....review the photos below this will only validate my frustration. We had also paid 300.00 for the below framing job. We were given a full refund.

Yelp
I had a UPS delivery that was rerouted to the pick up point at Michael's. It was a present that my friend sent to me and I went to Michael's to pick up my package. When I was asking for the package, I gave them my name/address, sender name/address but the cashier said she could not find my package. I was re-verifying all the information, but she cut me off with lots of attitude "I know you already said that." The whole conversation Lisa told me that if I didn't have a tracking number there's nothing she can do. Thankfully when the manager came she was able to help me find the package, but the whole time I felt very uncomfortable and unwelcome because she kept staring me down with attitude. I left very uncomfortable and upset.

Debi M.

Yelp
I recently picked up a poster I had framed at Michael's. While the framing and matting was excellent, I was extremely annoyed to find the wire hanger was not installed sufficiently. The picture sunk and the wire popped off completely as I tried to hang it on the wall for the first time. I guess I am glad that it didn't fall off the wall and break. I was lucky I was still holding it. When I called the store, I did not get a good resolution. The best I was told was that the manager could call me back in a few weeks when he returned from vacation. I did not want to bring it back into the store and wait again for it to be fixed. I could fix it on my own but I did want them to know that someone has not been trained well and they should make sure this did not happen again. I told them I could send them pictures of the wire that disconnected but I was not willing to make another trip to the store. I paid over $150 for this job. I will think twice before frame with them again.

lulu b.

Yelp
Don't get custom framing done here, just don't . Even with the fake sale, they are not professional and the quality is lacking. Go somewhere else. They also may want to invest in training , accidentally over charged me, I didn't get the mail it to the measurements that I asked for and for the staff. Bad experience all the way around. While they did fix the issue, the second try was also equally bad.

Yelp
I always come to Michaels for my art supplies. I always go to their Eldridge store but I was around rice village at this time so I dropped by this location. The cashier was very friendly (and cute lol wink wink). Everything was so organized and they have more stuff than the one at Eldridge.

Yelp
It's not surprising that I see other negative reviews about the customer service already here. The associate Lisa must have been having a bad day but she was rude and short with me when I was picking up an online order. I'm not sure what I did but she made it clear with her passive aggressive actions that she did not like me... I was just trying to pick up some yarn on my lunch break lol... Lisa if you're reading this I hope you're day gets better

Zach S.

Yelp
This cost $24. I was told that this was cut by hand when I picked it up and that if I wanted it done better, that I'd have to send it out for another 7-10 days. How is this acceptable? I can't even use the frame because the lines are so visually off. Complete waste of money. Michaels is fine as a craft store, but DO NOT get custom framing done there. This is awful and shoddy craftsmanship.

S S.

Yelp
We had a panorama of 5 prints made on metal. They looked great. Pretty expensive. After about 6 months, one of them fell off the wall. We took it back and they added another mounting piece. After 13 months, another one fell off the wall, damaging the print. these are heavy, and luckily it didn't hit anything but carpet, or it would have been trouble. We called michaels and they said the warranty was 12 months - so tough luck. They eventually told us they don't make these, they subcontract to another company (Easy Print?) and it was on them. We called them - when they answered the phone they said Michaels, but after questioning, indeed, it was easy print. They too told us to pound sand. Now we have 4 of 5 prints on the wall - which looks...like crap. Save your money - go somewhere better, somewhere where they will stand by their work.

Yelp
Worst service ever manager was extremely rude she stared at us the whole time we where there and when we got to the cash register we asked which of the two registers where open she looked at us and completely ignored us her coworker toke us but she just attended us and was done with it when we asked about a certain item the manager asked what it was on our receipt is the price that it is not she didn't want to bother checking or anything she was extremely rude about the whole situation gave us ugly looks I'm not sure why have people working or in any case in charge if there customer service skill are horrible
google avatar

Renae V.

Yelp
I'd call ahead to make sure curbside pickup works. They had all these seemingly great alerts and easy ways to do pickup from your phone. But I ended up waiting 15 minutes after two calls in the lot and being put on hold. I could see a fee associates through the doors just standing talking around when it was clearly busy. Frustrating!
google avatar

Emily T.

Yelp
On the weekends, their custom framing department gets pretty busy. I didn't have to wait too long for service. Johnny was incredibly helpful in assisting me with my pharmacist wall certificate. He was knowledgeable, having assisted many other fellow pharmacists with framing their certificates. He advised against going too over-the-top and picked out a couple frames that would complement the piece of paper representing my graduate school accomplishments. Total cost was ~$75. I am satisfied with the final product, but I do wish they would have called me to let me know it was ready! Total wait time was about 4 weeks.
google avatar

Julianne D.

Yelp
This location is a lot smaller than others I've been to... they have pretty much the same items as other locations, but just in a smaller amount. Went in today for some faux florals and glass beads for the bottom of a vase...ended up spending close to $20, when I'm sure I could've gotten the same items probably at the dollar store for a fraction of the cost. This was with some of the items on sale and with 2 coupons.
google avatar

Leslie D.

Yelp
Bunch a yahoos. Drive down the street to JoAnn's where the staff actually has a clue. Dropped in because a cowoker had a 50% off coupon for framing services and asked about a clasp for a jacket = crickets. Proceeded to describe the object as a fastener to keep apparel closed = crickets. A fancy button, a hook-like object, something like a dog leash (to which they replied "we don't carry animals here"), I even drew a picture. I was finally instructed by the manager to a section that had a tub full of multicolored buttons. Nothing - these people are rocks. I was totally reminded why I avoid places like Hobby Lobby and Michaels. Turn around and go somewhere else.
google avatar

Ro R.

Yelp
A bit smaller than Hobby Lobby and sometimes a bit more expensive! But it's a great place to find things that you need to make your own art/craft. They also carry Martha Stewart's brand here.
google avatar

Cynthia C.

Yelp
Not sure if it's because of the holiday season, but this location was definitely looking a bit shambly. It's the second week of December and Christmas items were already 60% off. I was looking for Sharpie paint pens and they were out of all the water-based ones and didn't have many colors of the oil-based. Some of the prices on the shelves had only numbers but no description of what item it was referring to.
google avatar

Farrah A.

Yelp
Though I don't craft as much as I'd like to, nor am I an expert in any field, I love whipping out the hot glue gun, the glitter, the doilies and scrapbook supplies. With every visit to Micheal's, I suddenly want to take up a new hobby: painting, sculpting, knitting ... I can stick around here for hours. I like this location especially because it's rarely ever a mad house, even around the holidays. They also have a lot of people working the registers, so the line moves fast. However, I rarely can find anyone on the floor, unless I walk over to the frame dept. They also have like 2-3 aisles filled with items on sale or clearance. From baskets to home decor items. Be sure to keep tabs on their website before you go in. You might find specials and sales. And they also offer an array of classes here.
google avatar

Tami R.

Yelp
I wanted the perfect frame for a newly gifted and original piece of artwork on a large canvass. I had a great experience with Will and received wonderful guidance from him. He understood how important it was for me to get my choice right and was very attentive and patient, letting me experiment with many unique framing combinations before I settled on the perfect option. I found him to be very knowledgeable. He offered sound suggestions with a positive attitude, and he made the entire process fun and exciting. This was "WOW" customer service! Will, you are a gem - a real one. Thank you!
google avatar

David N.

Yelp
You know what other company besides Chick Fil A that is closed on Sundays? Hobby Lobby!!! Recently I was in need of some dry erase boards and I realized it was Sunday and I could not hit them up! However, Michael's is actually closer to my house so I figured why not? They are a bit more expensive but if you dl their app they ALWAYS have coupons. So I've decided I'm done with you Hobby Lobby!
google avatar

Tina K.

Yelp
Rude staff. Came in to buy Christmas stuff. I'd been here earlier in the week with no issues. Kind associates (although some walk through the store seemingly not knowing the words "excuse me" when they walk in front of you... but that's common for everyone these days). Today, Lisa was extraordinarily short and rude. We said hello and she literally huffed. Who does that? She then ignored us and asked if we were members, then yelled for us to put our rewards info on the keypad as if we weren't moving fast enough (we just walked up). She proceeded to throw the items on her counter and then threw our items into bags (all the fragile Christmas filler). When we asked why she was being rude (by asking if something was wrong or if there was an issue in literally the kindest way possible) she raised her voice while asking how she was being rude (she could have just apologized). Asked her manager to come over and she continued to talk to us in a very rude/loud manner. The manager's presence made no difference. I think the manager got the idea and apologized. She could have done more. As we walked out, she was still yelling and talking crap. We're assuming something was wrong with her, but whatever the circumstances, anyone working in customer service should be able to conduct themselves professionally and be courteous. We were very kind, especially considering the circumstances. I'm a fan of giving people jobs and going to shop safely in store, but anything you buy here can be bought online without the ridiculous interactions.
google avatar

Lev I.

Yelp
I love this store. I always use The coupons too. Wish it was a bigger store though. I always grab a cart when I get in here because I always end up buying something. Usually pretty organized and workers are nice!

Linda L.

Yelp
0 stars for this location! Employees are rude including the manager. When an item rang up wrong, they didn't believe me and would not go look. When they finally verified the price WAS INCORRECT and corrected it on the register. They said they could not apply my coupons and rewards since they changed the price ..not my fault the price was wrong. Not even a thank you after my transaction.
google avatar

Devon J.

Yelp
Everyone in this store is about as happy as a seven year old at his puppy's funeral. Except for the men they are all very nice....which is a switch from the typical craft store experiences.
google avatar

Cory O.

Yelp
As with all Michael's, you get a lot of cheapy, cheesy junk that you have to wade through to get to the goods. And by the goods, I mean the clearance items. In my quest to help throw a fabulous party for my friend's wedding festivities, I had to take budget into account. Weddings are expensive! So when we so the dollar bins, we were more than thrilled to shop freely. I was actually pretty impressed with the selection in the dollar bins and found plenty of goodies to fill our bags. The full priced items seem a bit overpriced, but the store is clean and well organized, so that keeps me pretty content. The employees were pretty nonexistent and it would've been nice to get some ideas bounced off of them. The store itself isn't that large and the parking lot is awful. Little things like this made me wish we'd opted for the Hobby Lobby instead. In the end, we got our goody bags done for the five prizes and a few other toys all for the grand total of $60. Not bad considering what we thought we'd end up spending, so it worked out well.

Yelp
Went to have to pictures re-framed in antique frames that have been in my family for some years. Upon my arrival, no one was at print counter. There was a gentleman talking on the phone. He ended his call after asked if I could be helped (he was the framing mgr.) I explained that my objective was to repurpose these old frames. He immediatley said the frames were too thin and the mats that they had would be too thick. He did not attempt to look for a suitable mat and said it would not work and was pretty adiment about this. I then told him I was disapointed and that I felt he wanted me to buy new frames. He immediately said I was accuseing him of something and was quite offended. (Last time I checked, I was a customer.) I told him I wasn't going to do business there. He then said, have a good day and was quite dismissive and patronizing. I have used Michael's on my occasions for my framing needs. They have lost my business for good. I called the store manager and even called corp. to voice my disatisfaction. I found a Mom and Pop frame store on Stella Link near by named Hardy's Picture framing and dealt with the owner. He admired the old frames and said he would be more than happy to work with me. I will be taking all my framing needs to Hardy's Picture Framing and certainly not Michaels Art and Crafts on Bissonnet.

Yelp
I never had a problem until I returned somethings with a cash receipt within the policy days. They want your Personal Information so they can hand it over to a company that sells all the information and or gets security breaches. Last time I checked the DMV tried to do this and laws were passed...are retailers above federal laws? Why does the FTC sue the party that was holding the information but not the retailer when there are breaches. Never Never give out your Drivers License ask the manager directly if your information is being sold or transfered to a nother party and if they answer IDK it is just our policy then they are selling it and putting your info that risks your identity and credit in the hands of who knows... BestBuy, Victoria's Secret, Foley's, Kohl's, BedBathBeyond, HalfPriceBooks, and now Michael's are putting you and your credit at risk for ID theft. These places are listed in a yahoo search as demanding your DL with a receipt. Marshall's TJMaxx had a major breach with DL info...why do companies still do this?

Yelp
Super helpful staff assisted me and gave good crafting tips. Love their coupons. This is now my go-to craft store.

Yelp
All these years of living inside the loop, one thing that was always a huge inconvenience to me was that the only Hobby Lobby is way out in Meyerland and it's closed on Sundays. I recently discovered this Michael's location and I am so relieved. From small DIY projects to gift wrapping supplies tp holiday decorations, I am now able to grab these last minute items nearby AND on Sundays.

Yelp
Surprise! I do crafts a lot. Okay, that's a lie. But I make kandi bracelets out the wazoo for distribution among my fellow tranceheads. Michaels has a decent selection of pony beads and string. They also carry letter beads and various shapes (though, for kandi, I prefer to use buttons, It's much more unique). It's less expensive than Jo-Ann, but lacks the variety. Also...the smell of Michaels is enough to bring me back in there. It's the same smell in every store (and not that nasty Subway type where you cring when you walk in)...it smells like flowers and possibilities :)
google avatar

Kate A.

Yelp
I love that this place is practically around the corner from my home. This is a great location for people inside the loop who are looking for crafts or home decorations for all seasons. It's your typical arts and crafts store with items to design and create your own jewelry, baking decorations, kids arts and crafts, scrap-booking, even framing for your favorite piece of art. There are many deals on items so to get the best bang for your buck, use the coupon(s) in the Sunday paper to save more money!

Yelp
On a whim, my friend asked if I wanted to do some paintings. So we stopped by Michaels. Well, lo and behold it was our lucky day! Canvases were 50% off!! I didn't know it going in, but painting was my new hobby when I left. I purchased quite a few different sized canvases, acrylic paints, and paint brushes. Almost everything was either 50% off, or buy one get one 50% off. I felt so accomplished.. and I hadn't even started painting yet =) Anyhow, we'll see how this goes!

Yelp
Crappy Service, Crappy Return Policy, Hobby Lobby is way better. Staff at this store sucks! Don't think I'll ever return.

Yelp
I recently visited this Michaels location this past Saturday and I was pleased with my first visit here. When going in, me and the sis saw that it was busy. The long line that went around their checkout area definitely DID NOT make me miss my days as a cashier at a craft store lol But anyway, we made a quick trip around the store before making it to the jewelry aisle, which was my primary reason for coming here. Overall they have a decent selection of anything you could need craft wise. Side note, they already have their Halloween decorations out which were all soooooo pretty and unique, I just wanted to say "Shut up and take my money!" This is a smaller Michaels store, so the selection isn't that wide (nothing compared to the location on Bunker Hill & I-10) but it has what you need when you're feeling crafty. The jewelry aisle doesn't have anything to write home about but they had the beading wire that I LOVE and happened to be looking for on this day and I was happy to see that they had a 40% sale on their string beads. The employees were friendly as well. When we were browsing a nice female employee asked if we needed help and a second employee asked if I needed help while I was on my way to the ladies room. Very nice! The checkout process was a breeze. By the time we made it to the front, the line had gone down significantly and our cashier was really sweet. I had a coupon on my phone and she was happy to accept it with the code and even helped me sign up for their Michaels Rewards Program. If you're an avid crafter, make sure to sign up for this! You can do it in store and even register online to print out your member rewards card and have them scan it in store, or you can just give them your phone number at check out and they will find you. The store is easy to find if you're familiar with the area. Located at the corner of Weslayan and Bissonnet, it's in the same shopping center as Chuck E. Cheese and Ross. Overall, nice first visit and I will be back again whenever I'm in the area.
