Tue 08.05.25 2:30pm Michael's McCarthy Ranch Dr in a huge strip mall next to the Walmart block, across from In-N-Out, Shabuya, etc restaurants. They're relocating merchandise within the store as they're expanding the already humongous store and its inventory. Purchased the leather sewing needles, the extra strong thread to use for them, was told by the lady staff to use thread wax to coat the thread to make it glide better when using on leather items (thank you to her for the info!) but they didn't have said wax in stock. Also thankfully noticed the iron/sew on beautiful letter patches (both terry cloth & crystal embedded kinds) in a bin in the back wall (clearance area) for $0.50 ea (-75%), bought 11 of them. And the 100% cotton pre-shrunk T-shirts were $2.99 ea. Got 3 of those. Will check out their gorgeous Australian crystal beads and crystal strands aisle (near front of store) next time when not in a rush. Good, clean store, wonderful, helpful staff, barely anyone else shopping in during this time. Saved dad's fave fishing hat, which was heavily stained with orange oil and a rip on top by soaking in hot water and sodium percarbonate then sewing on this "D" for Dad patch. Ironed on then sewed in. Excuse the water stain, had to rub parts of the hat with soapy water & toothbrush.

The place is organized and clean. I was looking for some watercolor paints and got helped from people working there. Eventhough I didn't find a few professional colors, I was happy with the type of customer service I received. However, their main website was not helpful at all.

Great store for all your creative needs. I go here to make things for kids school assignments or for my cosplay builds. What I love most are the great deals and coupons that I get through my member account. Here are some of my recent builds and work in progress costumes for my son and nephew.

This Michael store is just off Highway 237 and has tons of parking. The store is well-stocked and has very helpful staff. Michaels is a great store for craft supplies, baking, jewelry making, party planning, framing scrapbooking, knitting, floral arrangements, T-shirt designs, and much more. This place is an artist and crafters toy store!! I go to Michael’s for all my creative needs!

They got a lot to offer. The best part about it. IS, THEY HAVE GUNPLAN (Gundam Plastic Modelt Kits). FINALLY! Everything I would be there and checked, nothing. But, it was a delightful surprise. Yay!

Very beautiful DIY kits for Xmas and Halloween decorations. Lots of variety for wool products, will keep your elderly parents happy.

Some Michaels craft stores are kind of a depressing wasteland that look like they were abandoned years ago, but this location is quite nice. Shelves are well stocked, the store is clean, and the selection is impressive. It is still kinda impossible to find an employee if you have a question, though. I was in to grab some fake flowers for a bouquet, and they had everything I could have wanted.

Super nice people working here! Need some material and there was a wide variety to choose from. I finally decided on an inexpensive type and the friendly employee was right there on the spot to help me Cut the length off of the bolt. Very friendly people at a really nice store! Great value for the price paid!!

Large Michaels location with plenty of parking. Large in-store selection with clean, orderly aisles. Stock seems broader than Coleman location. Good weekly sale made for good value finds while shopping. Cashier staff was very friendly and helped me find a coupon to use through Michaels app. Coupon was usable on in-store transaction and quick to scan.

I come here once in a while for paper craft products, decorations, boxes, and project supplies in which I may need specific material, colors, or sizes that I can't find at other stores. I recently got some cardstock, alphabet and number stickers, and more for a recent project I was working on this weekend... I even found rare andes mint chocolate bars, which I've never seen before, got me a couple on my way out. In fact, they have several funny themed candies and mints, great stocking stuffer types of gifts. The products I purchased were great, but I didn't need all of the items. So I came back a couple days later, and had no problems processing a return and refund transaction. Service is slow here at the registers, regardless of whether it's a weekend or a Monday, but they have self-checkout kiosks as well. Unfortunately, if you're returning items, you're stuck waiting. Staff is friendly though.

There was a young man working at the front check out tonight 9/24 and he was sweet enough to offer my son a balloon. A gesture I found to be extremely sincere and kind. I only wish I got his name, but what amazing employee as well as the woman who took the time to have the balloon blown up! It really made his night and mine too!

I like Michaels, especially this location! The service is nice and helpful. They carry and stock a lot of items and are neatly organized! They have seasonal items which are always cool!

This is the best location I've visited hands down! This location has more inventory than i'm used to. There were a great deal of items that were on clearance as well! The t shirt section was STOCKED! They even have colors I've never seen in stores. I've become so accustomed to empty shelves at this point. This location is what other Michael's should strive to be.

No curbside pick up !!! False advertising!!! Employee told me has has no idea what curbside pick up means and I should speak with the manager as to why there was no curbside pick up is in-spite of being advertised on the website

Michaels has been one of my go-to spots to get all my crafting or decorating needs. I don't know why I've ended up leaning on Michaels, but I do. It's not the cheapest, but at least they do have a coupon that you can always use just go to their website and generally you can always find a 20% off. Now this Michaels is definitely a nice one to go to as it is fairly large, high ceilings and very bright and spacious. So it makes shopping in there pleasant. Last time I was here I was searching for cake boards which they have moved since I last visited. So I had to do a little walking around to figure out where it was but that's ok. I don't mind doing a little search. The only thing I have noticed about Michaels is that the stock for certain popular items don't generally get restocked fast. Perhaps I guess I should ask a store associate if they have it in the back but I'm too shy about it. Like this last time, the cake boxes and cake boards seem to be slightly empty so I settled with one that was next best. There is only one person at check out. But as it's not super busy, I can see one. Other than that, the parking situation here is pretty easy. Lots of spaces usually empty so it's nice to shop where it's not super crowded.

This Michaels in Milpitas is a better location to shop at in my opinion. The Coleman location is also great place, but this one is less congested and my recent experience the associates were more upbeat (maybe because there's less store traffic). I went in for one thing, but ended up getting faux, flickering candles with a timer. This candle type has been in the market for awhile and not sure why I did not check these out sooner! I'm impressed so far with how it creates that warm ambiance most of us desire. Price point is decent considering I've seen these candles at the higher end home stores. And, most importantly, it's safer than regular candles... peace of mind. Just got the wax melts in the background and I'm good! Glad I found these at Michaels in Milpitas.

I had placed an order online and to be picked up. I was not able to pick it up and I extended via their website. However, I wasn't able to pick up my orders despite the extension due to self quarantine. I called up the manager and explained my situation, he was very friendly and was able to extend my pick up window and left a note on my order to left their staff know not to rerun my order. I thought this is very nice that they were able to make the accommodation. Besides their friendly staff, the store is clean and organized. It's almost February, they still have Christmas staffs on clearance... Most of the time when I visited in the past, they are not very busy... I hope they don't close down this location.

A great place for anyone pursuing arts or crafts! Every time I've visited, there's always a short line and lots of products in stock. I generally go here for art markers, sketchbooks, and heat transfer stickers/vinyl. There's a huge variety of items that I never knew I needed and I always walk out with more items than I anticipated buying. They also have coupons on their website that you can use in-store, which is handy. It's a bit far from where I live but it's a great place to stop by if you're in need of arts and craft supplies!

The location of this store makes it convenient for me to stop by pretty often. They almost always have the selection of what I need and I get good prices most of the time. However some of their employees have very bad attitude and I feel very uncomfortable every time I need to ask for something or I check out. It's really disappointing as I feel really down about half of the time I get out of the store. I still buy there because it's the closest from my home, but whenever I can choose I go to another place.

I'm going to say this Michaels location is big, clean more organized. The workers here are nice and friendly. It looks like Michaels don't want to give customers the 50% off all regular price items any more because of the pandemic ]:

New Michael's location alert and I'm in LOVE!! I arrived to the old establishment and was super bummed to see that my favorite craft store had "gone out of business". Little did I know, the business simply moved into a different building [still within the McCarthy Ranch Shopping Center]. The store in itself seems a bit smaller than the last imo but the cleanliness, brightness, and organization aspect is out of this world. Parking should not and will not be an issue- It's flippin' MASSIVE. Everything I needed and wanted was available at my fingertips. There wasn't any customer service going on from the employees but I enjoy wandering at my own pace and exploring each aisle. This place is a craft lovers dream and you are sure find what you are searching for. I came, I saw, I left happy. The End.

Large and spacious Michaels. They had a fair amount of clearance items and coupons available via QR Code. I found a larger number and variety of safety eyes (for crochet animals) at this location and a reasonable amount and variety of yarn (which was on sale at the beginning of January!). Near by are a large number of restaurants so this is a great place to stop in and get some crafting supplies.

I was going thru my crafty phase and was also prepping to become a party planner for my bff's baby shower.... so I started looking into michaels and start purchasing all equipment that I may need to plan and coordinate this big celebration event! I think I've come here multiple times to get a various of different items since the store locations near me were always sold out of the items and so I had to drive to this location couple times. Every time I call and do stock check and when I also need assistance in the store.. the employee's here are super helpful and make sure they answer all your questions and adhere to all your requests. I personally love this location and it's prolly my top locations to shop at. Keep up the cleanliness of the store and keep those exemplary employees! I'll be back soon after you guys open back up for the public!

I like Michaels. They have a ton of arts and craft products, pictures frames, the works. A great place to make your house/party just a tad nicer. They used to be across the street, but for whatever reason they moved. The location size is pretty much the same, so not sure why they moved? Any care to share why? Either way, we came here and everyone was very friendly. Great staff. We got our picture frames and our board which they were able to cut for us and we left. Would come here again in a heartbeat.

3/22/2021 My daughter and I had a great shopping experience today at this Michael's location. A big shout out to TULISA (sorry for misspelling) for her delightful customer service. Her bright and vibrant personality made our day. We need more individuals like herself, especially now, during these unprecedented times. There is so much hate in the world right now, and TULISA is living proof that there is hope for our world to show kindness and respect to our fellow humans.

Perfect for my crafting I can always fund supplies here and it is not crowded and they have coupons every week to save me money.

This Michael's is open, I just shopped there! Their bead section is withering ever so slowly, not happy about this. But, they do have an awesome bead sale going on! Don't forget to use your Michael's app for coupons and discounts.

Good selection of art supplies. This is my go-to place for copic markers. However, during one of my visits, I pressed a call for assistance button several times to have an attendant unlock a cabinet. I waited for about 5 minutes assuming they were busy. Several employees had to contact each other before I was helped.

Short staffed here and unfortunately only one person working at the register. Sarah was great at trying to get us help for a bulk pickup. She was very kind and she was working hard to get the line moving. It'd be great if there were more staff to support her and all their employees. Inventory-wise, michael's is great. But customer service is really critical to enhance the in-store experience.

Great new Michaels (new to me at least, as it seems they have been open already for a year). Super organized, clean, not crowded and fantastic deals. Not too many moms with crying kids, which is great when you want to browse and analyze products in peace! I found many deals and really think is a paradise for crafters. I was very happy to find the perfect color in spray clothing paint to color my Puma Brasil that I have had for a decade and needed a revamp. Michaels delivered!

This Milpitas McCarthy Ranch Michael's is CLOSED! Nowhere on the Michaels.com website does it indicate this. It was the suggested closest one to me, and it used to be my go-to, but when I drove there today, the whole thing was fenced off and looks to have been closed for a while.

I haven't stepped foot into a Michael's in years and yesterday I had 2 quest to conquer: get my Daughter a painting project and get a bottle w/ a cork cap for my "message in a bottle" idea that I will soon send to my beloved, Michael W. in NY. The store itself is somewhat organized, the staff however, isn't welcoming (we walked by one as we entered and there was no greeting whatsoever) so I was a tad disappointed w/ that. We scoured each and every aisle to look for what we need... just make sure to read the label (if you are going to buy paint especially). Although I'm not an arts and craft (artistic) type of person, I love trinkets and making things - especially for a loved one. In the end I got my Daughter a birdhouse and some paint all for about $10!

Love the craftyness and all the possibilities! Season items don't always show up when I'd like, so can't plan ahead too much.

I went in looking for a couple things for my planner. The whole front of the store was filled with Christmas and holiday decor. This is my first time at their new location(smaller than the place across the street) I wandered around the store and eventually found what I was looking for (and on sale, yay) but it would've been nice to see someone on the floor so that I could ask and be pointed in the right direction for what I was looking for. I went around 1 PM on Monday, and I know you wouldn't think that it would be busy but it was actually pretty packed. It seems like they knew to expect more traffic around the holiday season because they had a very long section for where to form a line to pay for your items.

My children and I love shopping at Michaels! This is a larger Michaels so there is plenty to see. I run a home based business so I come to shop here when I need to buy more craft supplies.

Best floral collection for home decor ...they have more variety than other Michael stores ...don't forget to get savings from couponsherpa coupons here .. We were helped by Jennifer ..she was really informative and accommodative ...good experience !

Today's experience was great because of 3 things: 1) the store had great sales especially Fall, 2) the environment was clean and well stocked and 3) we were greeted by Sarah, the cashier. She was very friendly. Sad to say, you don't see that kind of customer service anymore. Also while she was ringing up someone, she had warned customers in line to be careful because a patron dropped a glass on the floor. There was another employee next to her up front, but he was not very helpful. :( This Michael's was better compared to Coleman and Tully (now closed).

What is there to say about Michael's? Tons! Bought: - Scrapbook - Scrapbooking pages - Background paper - Stickers Tina's Thoughts and Triggers - Michael's can be the cheapest or the most expensive depending on how prepared you are - You can either get coupons in the Sunday newspaper or get coupons off retail me not on your mobile device - Tulisha was an awesome cashier and I would say the most persuasive person to help with getting signed up with email subscriptions to Michael's emails - I was offered a discount off the bat for signing up - no strings attached.... I would think, but probably the spammed emails - Great service, great smiles, and great area

1. I don't care for this new location. The old one was brighter and felt more like a craft store. This one is like a confusing warehouse - lacking light and has a cold vibe. 2. They keep advertising 'free pick-up at store', but yet EVERY item I ever wanted online shows 'inventory information not available' at this location, so I try to call and check if inventory is available and get put on hold for 15 minutes, and that is after giving them a SKU #. They can't check by SKU# and have to actually hunt through the store like the customers. I appreciate their honesty and willingness to help me look. BUT there is a SERIOUS problem with the store INVENTORY if even the employees can't confirm whether they have a specific SKU or not. And if it takes them more than 15 minutes to find something, how long will it take a customer who is not as familiar with the layout???

There was a very helpful tranny here once who advised me on how to attach fake cinnamon buns to a headband for my Princess Leia Halloween costume. In the last few months Michael's has been my second home. When you're a month from getting married this place is a cheap sources for all sorts of things: Calligraphy pens and nibs Cake serving sets Fake flowers on wire for the cake serving sets Small photo frames for the table numbers Big punch outs for the escort cards Baskets for programs or guestbook pages Envelopes and blank cards for save the dates And many more things to bore the non-about to be brides!

It's sad to say that this plaza is way past its prime. On the bright side, there's a TON of parking! Customer service at checkout was fine, the store was mostly empty. There's a decent amount of stuff on clearance and be sure to check out those signs above each aisle to find what you're looking for! The brush pens I was looking for were actually located in two different parts of the store. I came home to find that one of the pens was totally dried out so I'll have to go back for a refund, no fun. Hopefully, the store will be as empty of customers as I always remember and I'll be helped within a few minutes. The one downside of the store being so empty is that I saw a lot of empty shelf space. In looking for pens, a lot of colors and packages were out of stock and my options were limited. Remember to go online for savings, they always have coupons for at least 30-40% off an item! :)

The new Michael's location is layed out very much like the Fremont Hub location, spacious and stocked well! The customer service is on point, and the selection they have is hands down. I love how everything has it's place - so easy to find everything because each aisle is categorized and in LARGE FONT so those who can't see too well, you won't miss what you're looking for. Also, this new Michael's is conveniently located right next door to Petsmart, so if you need to pick up anything at either store - they're right next door, SO convenient! Love it!!!!!!

A big thankyou to Danny for helping decorate a wedding basket. Did not know they have many custom services to help with any project. Great people, products and creative services. They are 60% or less than most other stores.

This new location seems a tad smaller to me, but the layout and way they organized it all makes it feel less cramped. There's also now an actual queue area for people waiting to check out! My favorite is that they have a designated area in the front for whatever holiday/event they are focused on. Only thing that was funky was the WiFi lol. Great job to all those involved in the move!

My go to place for anything Arts & Crafts related. The store is well stocked and clean. Michaels stores tend to have a feeling of over crowdedness due to all the many selections. One could get overwhelmed and a bit lost unless you have been here numerous times. I have been many times and I still dont know where anything really is. Service is somewhat scarce so you have to really look around for someone if you need help. Cashiers are pretty nice and lines dont get too long. Make sure you go on their website and look for coupons. They usually have weekly deals that will save you a nice chunk of change 4 stars

This Michaels only takes 1 coupon regardless of the amount or where it's from. I had a Michaels coupon and a JoAnn's coupon one was 50% one was 40% and they only would take one coupon and said it's the policy of all Michaels. This is not so, every other Michaels that I've been to will take both coupons. I am disappointed in this one.

This is my favorite Michael's that I come to for all my craft stuff. This Michaels is pretty clean compared to some of the other ones I've been to. There is always a lot of parking and the store is never to crowded. I can spend a lot of time in this store just looking at stuff, going up and down to Isles looking at everything and how to use stuff. One thing I learned long ago hobbies are expensive in the long run cause you always need something else more cooler for whatever projects you're doing.

Soo much better than it was before. I've had to buy poster sized frame for a picture and had to do returns. No problem. The girl up front(blonde) was super nice and sweet. Every person I've asked for help has been helpful.

My boyfriend and I came to this location one evening for some supplies for personal art projects. I walked in went my way and he went his. Found What I was looking for right away. Since there was a good selection of the item i needed, which was a case to carry my loose swarovski crystal beads, it took me a while to decide. I finally made my choice and my boyfriend also found his item. When we got to the register an elderly women helped us. She asked if we had out 40% off coupon. I told her I forgot they offered the coupon. She offered to give the discount if she could find and extra coupon. She was able to give us the discount. On our way our my boyfriend saw a toy at the register he thought he wanted to buy. It was like a robot bug that runs across the floor at a fast speed, great for pets. When he took it to her she said " why do you want that!?" lol she was quite the character. *Just about every sunday Michaels gives out a 40% off any item coupon. Score!

I don't come here that often except when it's a specific need. My usual need is weird sized frames and last night I had to find SIX odd sized frames and get custom matting. While it cost a little, the service was excellent. I got all six frames matted while I waited. They always have courteous staff who are pretty knowledgeable about their inventory and services. I'll be back.

They never have Enough stock of shirts. One of the employees said they usually buy them first before customers. Not fair... Hopefully Management changes and they have more stock.

Bought a bunch of frames on sale! Some were matted for only $4! Others are 40% off or marked down to $6-12. Pretty good deal, except I wish they had more oval frames. Ps the cashier is kind of weird, I had to hold in my laugh. He asked me if I found everything alright, I said yes. Then he said " welcome to Michaels yeaaahhhh alrighttttt" and then he would say it to other customers walking by ha.

Went in to get an odd sized print framed. Alfonso did such a great job creating the perfect mat to go with the picture and fit perfectly inside the frame.
