I'm incredibly impressed by the team at Michelasso! The meals showcased the best of the region and were so well curated with a good balance that I wanted to try everything. They also offer a great selection of wine and apéritif and the service is impeccable. Overall, I would rate it 11/10!

The restaurant is situated near Toledo street, central ly. The atmosphere is very good and the staff is welcoming and very professional. We had the meat menu with assorted wine. The food was excellent and the variety of wines were outstanding. I highly recommended this restaurant in Napoli. It is one of the best.

The restaurant is centrally located near Via Toledo and the Municipio metro station, with many other restaurants around. The reception from the staff was friendly and this friendliness continued throughout the evening. The atmosphere was good, and there were not too many people due to the small size of the place. At the beginning there was music playing on a loop for a few seconds at a time, which became annoying after a while, but fortunately this was changed after a complaint was made, so it was no longer perceived as annoying. The food was good, but not excellent, so it was good value for money.

Excellent food and service. We had the fish tasting menu with wine pairing. Every dish was expertly prepared. At the end of the meter the chef came out to speak to us

To start off I should say that I am a chef (yes I do recognize the irony in my email name), but I will say this. Their service was executed perfectly, everything was well timed (nothing too early or too late), the server, which I assume is also a sommelier, recommended a great Riesling from Germany to pair with my fish tasting menu. Great pick! They both spoke above average English and were very good at explaining the menu. I was impressed. They made the service flow very smooth and they treated every guest the same the moment they walked through the door. I examined a lot to educate myself on how a Michelin establishment is run so I noticed every detail. Everything was done with a purpose and I enjoyed that. Thank you! The amuse Bouche(s) were both stunning (I had the seafood croquet and my wife had the cappicola), although maybe the accented truffle could have been taken out of the cappicola one. Still amazing! The flight of pre-course one bite pieces were all very good. Although some of them overshadow others and they do not elevate each other well. Maybe execute them from left to right so that they can build on flavors as you eat each one in order. A suggestion. Bread service was great and made me laugh! It reminded me of Naples and the region of Campania in general! 1st course scallop with pork was delicious! Although maybe more texture…flavors great. Harder sear or maybe a crispier addition. 2nd course pumpkin cream w/ anchovies and Buffalo stracciatella was good! A new flavor combination for me but good. 3rd course Pasta with mushrooms and fish was excellent and so creamy!!!! Devoured it! My wife raviolis were amazing too it was her favorite! Main Course Snapper I was a little disappointed in, all of the flavors until now were all stellar. I felt like the dish lacked powerful flavors to stand up to the perfectly cooked fish. I expected a flavor explosion but it was more light. For example: the sauce did not cling to the fish enough for me to enjoy it properly with just a fork, maybe a spoon and a knife would be better. The vegetables were nice, I liked the fennel. I don’t mean to be crazy but I respect the chef’s work and this dish could use more work (almost there). Maybe a micro garnish That was similar to ruffage Pork Duroc was amazing, everything I loved, no complaints just more of it!!! Pre-Dessert- The Apple Sorbetto was great and the best apple dessert I have ever had, amazing and if it is true to the name then it is vegan friendly ! Great pallet cleanser! Dessert: my pistachio dessert has to be my favorite dessert of all time! The pistachio whipped cream out of the ISI so it is lighter and creamier and has more volume. The chocolate crisp on top. The chocolate crumble on the bottom. And the pistachio ice cream with the micro greens to complement….the best…ever! My wife’s dessert was a lemon cake with vanilla ice cream and nuts. It was okay. Rather regular but the plating was nice. The petit-fores were also nice, one of them was a rum Baba, a chocolate/vanilla cookie (I think), a macaron, and a donut (I think). With an accompanying purée on the bottom. Not bad but not my favorite either. Overall 9/10 all around the board! I highly recommend this place and I see this getting a Michelin star one day! It is already Michelin recognized as of this year! So if you are wondering…YES! It is worth it! Best experience on the trip! I rate it harshly because of the price point and the passion involved!

Delicious food and a great wine pairing. The service was very attentive and caring. We had a private table at the front of the restaurant. They easily arranged a vegetarian menu and are prepared for your needs. Thank you very much for this evening, we will definitely recommend it.

I chose this restaurant for my birthday yesterday. My boyfriend and I opted for two set menus, which were delicious and I loved them. And the attitude of the waiter is very good, which makes me feel very comfortable. Looking forward to next time.
