Sydney is amazing with eyebrow shaping and eyelash lift! She is meticulous and gentle and has a really wonderful eye for making the most subtle shaping have the biggest impact. Highly recommend - and she’s a lovely soul too:)

I've been to three or four different brow bars over the years but oh my goodness--Michele Holmes Studio takes it to the next level. Melanie was absolutely wonderful. She was so warm and welcoming and knew exactly what I wanted, explaining each step as she went. I am only ever letting Melanie touch my brows from now on--they look AMAZING. Would give six stars if I could.

Melannie Melendez with the Michele Holmes team is such a delight! I was so happy with her keen eye for a recent color consult for my brows and her kind, attentive touch. I absolutely LOVE my new RYE brown tint gel. I have red hair that gets blonder in summer and browner in winter. And my brows seem to fade if I am not careful. With the Rye brow brush, you can gradually add color - I love a "Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen" horsey, full brow - a la Brooke Shields and Melannie coached me on color, and application. The studio is gorgeous. I could melt into those green styling chairs for the entire afternoon. Highly recommend this little gem for skin, brows, hair and gifts! I am very picky about my eyebrows - I need them groomed but also want them to look natural, and that can't be achieved with waxing. It is very hard to find an eyebrow stylist who doesn't over pluck or over wax your brows, and Michele is the ONLY person I trust. I drive 1.5 hours to see her because she is that good. I had no idea how much I needed my brows touched by these angels. I'm never not getting them done again! Everyone is so knowledgeable, you can sit back relax & then see your brow magic. Every artist is amazing & the brow lift is a game changer!

I recently relocated to the Bay Area after living in Los Angeles for a few years. It's been a while since I lived here so I needed to find new places for my beauty needs like eyebrow and nail services. On top of that, I just became a mother, and as many new moms can relate, it takes time to feel like yourself again. I managed to set aside some time and scheduled an appointment to get my eyebrows done at Michele Holmes Studio, which I discovered on Goop. Although I had to wait a month for an appointment, I was willing to be patient because I believed it would be worth it. I made arrangements for child care and eagerly anticipated the appointment. However, with only a few hours' notice, my appointment was unexpectedly canceled by Maddi. She promised to reach out and reschedule but never followed through. Michele isn't taking new clients and her supporting staff based on my experience is less than stellar.

I had an awesome initial brow treatment with Sydney. She was very friendly and took a lot of time to discuss my goals and analyze my brows. She made sure I was on board with her vision for cleaning up my brows (which needed a lot of help since I had not had them waxed or tweezed much since the pandemic). I love how they came out! They're full, more symmetrical, and the tint is perfect. She recommended some great products too and showed me how to replicate what she did. I look forward to my brow routine everyday now! The Studio is also adorable and very comfortable. I'm looking forward to my next visit with Syndey!

Lash Lift is the best thing I've done to keep my lashes looking longer and thicker! Once you try it you'll never stop! Maddie and Michele are both amazing with brows as well. This is def a one stop shop for the eyes . The shop is so charming like their personalities!

I'm Sarah's client and she really does work wonders on your brows! Loved how she cleaned me up, yet still left them more natural for a full and soft look; I'm not a fan of angular arches. I'm looking forward to my second appointment, later this week, as we have a "grow out" plan in the works and I'm excited to see the results after some magic shaping and tinting. Highly recommend this boutique, and Sarah in particular is very kind and talented.

This is a super cute shop and they do brows the way I like them, natural, not overdone, and individualized to your face. This was a treat for me as I usually don't spend money on things like this and my first impression was not great. When I walked in the door, no one acknowledged my presence at all even though I was the only one there, about 6 ft from Michele and Maddi. Granted, I was not dressed like their normal clientele probably is (joggers, my coat, and some running shoes) but I had to speak first, say my name, and that I was there for an appointment before either of them looked up. Even after I had done that and Maddi introduced herself, Michele still didn't bother to look up or say hi or anything. And as good of a job as Maddi did, I felt like they were trying to get me out as fast as possible. I was done, paid, and back in my car in 20 minutes. I met with Maddi who cleaned up my brows after I hadn't touched them for 6 months and tinted them. She didn't really ask if I wanted them tinted, really just told me she was going to tint them and since I don't really know much about brows, I just went with it. I panicked inwardly halfway thru because she hadn't explained that the tint would only stay on my brow hairs. I thought she had dyed my skin as well. Thankfully, the tint looks great and so do my brows but if someone says they have never had them tinted before and had never had anyone else do their brows before, maybe walk them through what you're doing. I also had no idea if this was an additional cost or not until I was checking out. For the price, I would expect a bit more warmth in the customer service. I give 4 stars because my brows did come out looking nice and because I can't give 3.5.

I had an amazing experience with Sarah and will definitely be going back! She was very thorough and friendly. I love the aesthetic in the new location and felt they took all the necessary precautions during covid. Highly recommended!

Just left my first appointment. What a great experience. I am insanely particular about my brows. I like them full, Natural and low maintenance. I don't wear any eye makeup and consider my brows one of my most important features. I now have lovely shape, good color, and a look that flatters. Thanks for a great experience. Well worth the drive across the bridge for good eyebrows.

Ok, this is really hard to admit as a masculine, somewhat private guy, but I get my eyebrows waxed. There I said it. I have never found someone who gets the fact that I don't want to look feminine, but I can't be walking around with a merkin between my eyes either! Michele understands how to "groom", not sculpt men's brows and I am in her hands for life! I also appreciate the relaxed environment in her home studio, she always changes the spa music for me to old school hip hop which is a big fat bonus! One thing to note is that she does a lot of house calls and makeup on the road, so she is by appointment only. I have a standing appointment with her but she is totally flexible when I need to change it. So stoked she moved to Marin!

After my first consultation with Michele, she sent me home. "Come back when you've grown your brows out, and I will sculpt them into an artistic masterpiece." Ok, she didn't really say that. But compared to what they were before, they looked like a masterpiece to me. This girl has been trained with celebrity brow artists, and it shows when it comes to her class and honesty. Oh, and she has a great sense of humor. Michele invites you into her home, offers you a glass of wine, and puts you completely at ease. After being seated in the comfy, retro chair in the bottom floor of her loft, she then discusses the exact color and shape that you want your brows. She takes into consideration the natural contours of your brow line as well as your complexion, and meticulously sculpts and colors your brows based on this. After some great conversation, a tasty glass of wine, and the end result: SEXY brows, I always leave Michele's feeling like a million bucks!

This place is such a gem!! Not only is it the cutest little spot decorated from top to bottom so well with such detail, that same impressive attention to detail shows through their work, my brows look so amazing, I had such growth from my first to second appointment. All the girls are so sweet and are so good at what they do. They really take their time and create an individualized plan to get your brows to fluffy perfection. They also have such great top quality products for sale! I just Love my little hour long vacations at Michele Holmes. Thank you Sarah, Maddie, and Michele for getting me to brow goals!

Michele has a gift and is a natural at her craft, creative, artistic and intuitive about her work. She took an aging over 50 woman (moi) and gave me a much younger look, refreshed and rejuvenated me. Her amazing facials and brow work is the best I have ever expereinced. She is my new facial ghuru and I am her customer for life.

Talk about perfection! Michele is amazing. She takes time to do what needs to be done. There is no rushing and if you are someone who wants in and out, Michele is not who you want to see. This is a pampering experience! Michele has Waxed my eyebrows and arms and uses the best wax and products around! I've even seen her facial in full effect as you lye listing to soft music by candle lite. Oh and I can't forget her Air Brush! Michele did my makeup for my wedding and it was FLAWLESS. I can't say enough about how amazing Michele is and what she does, With a personality just as Amazing as her work.

I have to start by saying that I WAS an eyebrow virgin. I swear, I now get complimented on my eyebrows!? She is officially my brow GOD, she knows exactly how to make the slight changes that will reshape and renew your eyebrows. She took the time to really make the right shape for my face. I not only left with fabulous eyebrows, but I also really enjoyed the session, it was so peaceful, clean, professional, nice beats... and she served me wine! I will forever be calling on Michelle for my waxing and facials. It is so MUCH BETTER than going to a mainstream salon, she is RAW talent with a kick ass atmosphere. Why go anywhere else?

I love Michele. I love going to get wax and just sit back and know that I'm in great hands. I've been going to Michele for about 4 months now. She has great tunes playing in the background. Even when I'm getting my legs waxed, she manages to make me doze off on her comfortable table. I've been known for calling at the last minute to either cancel or schedule an appointment and she's great about it. When I'm lucky, I get same day appointment. She understands my crazy work- school schedule and she works with it. I love her.
