Owner was working hard, really nice guy. Got deep dish. Motown pizza was amazing, cheese was great. If you like deep-dish this place is worth the wait (45mins~1h) to get it, so call ahead. I wish I had this near my home.

This is a little slice of Chicago in the heart of Michigan. Let me tell you, the deep dish is worth the wait! Everything came out hot and so fresh! Will be back again indefinitely 🤙🏻🍕

Again Chicago style pizza in Detroit is better than Chicago. This place was awesome. The sauce is so so good, perfect balance of sweet and acidity. Crust was excellent and the two gentlemen working were very friendly and accommodating to us walking in closer to closing time than I usually like. I will be back.

The service was very informative and friendly. Our Pizza was delicious the first day, and the leftovers the second day were heavenly, after the ingredients had time to meld in the sauce. The prices were right on par with Chicago style stuffed pizza. We will visit frequently. Thanks for the great experience!

Best pizza in town. Fresh ingredients. Great crust. Always excellent quality. Deep dish is awesome too. Can call ahead for deep dish and eat it there. I don’t eat pizza anywhere else in the area. Owner operated so quality is always excellent.

Went around when they first opened up years ago and they were pleasant but the operation wasn't running so smoothly that day. My personal pizza wasn't hot all the way through but it tasted good enough to come back and give them another shot, especially now that I'm back in Detroit after living in Chicago for a while (and eating PLENTY of deep dish and thin crust pizza, which is really what they eat over there more than deep dish).

Friendly and helpful staff and GREAT pizza! I'm not normally a fan of Chicago style pizza but I was hungry and parked nearby with some extra time on my meter, so I thought, why not? I'm so glad I did. I ordered the Godfather, no ham, add Italian sausage. It was.so.good. The dough and sauce are made fresh daily and it really comes through in the flavor. The sauce is really bright and savory with a little sweet that complements the crust and cheese. The crust was just the right amount of crispy and chewy. (Note the following may only apply to the individual size and not to the larger pies)The best thing about this pizza--after the first couple bites I could actually put down the fork and pick up a slice to eat it! That never happens with Chicago style, they're always too wet! Somehow these guys have solved a long standing problem in the world of pizza alchemy--how to elevate Chicago style from a sloppy mess to something you actually want to, and can, eat! Also worth noting: I tried the cheese wrapped pickle. It was like something I would have made in my bachelor days. Very tatsy and a perfect way to whet my appetite. They serve coke products to drink and lays chips as a side. Oh and get this: thanks to the lunch special, I had a personal pizza, a drink, chips, and the cheese wrapped pickle all for ten bucks plus tip! You can't beat it!

This is such an awesome little spot in the fun town of Ferndale. I've brought several people here and told many more about it. The food is great. Being from NY/NJ I'm very selective when it comes to pizza but they have the best pizza I've found since being out here the past couple of years. And they're sandwiches are delicious! All the items are very fairly priced. The staff is friendly and service is quick. Overall great experiences and I definitely recommend!
