Awful. Food is not fresh. Alfredo sauce taste like it comes from a Ragu jar. Hate leaving bad reviews, but spent about $90 and the food definitely WAS NOT worth the price.

The food was meh. With so many better options, I probably won't return. Pictured is the Tortellini Alla Miceli

A refreshing take on pizza - delicious sauce, tantalizing blend of flavors… so good. Tried the Vela (only one slice pictured, with the Caesar salad) and it blew my mind! You must try their family recipe sausage, I don’t usually like sausage but this one was amazing. I got a good shot of the Antipasto Salad, side Caesar Salad, Pepperoni Pizza, and Margherita Pizza. (and my Coca-cola) Give this Denver based Italian delight a try!!

We have ordered a few things here and they are all delicious. The pasta rosa, spaghetti marinara, pizza and calzones are really good. Their marinara sauce is so good, it's very robust and you can really taste the herbs. I love the bread that comes with the pasta dishes. The serving sizes are generous.

Was in the mood for New York style pizza and never knew this place was tucked in over by Buffalo Wild Wings. Very impressed with the pizza to say the least. Sauce was sweet n spicy. Crust was crisp and toppings were flavorful. Only about a 15 minute wait to be out the door. We will be back to try other menu items.

Decent food, OK ambiance for eating in. Clean. Friendly service. Drink machine was not working properly. Flat soda. Meatball sandwich was yummy 😋

Google
Not a fancy Italian restaurant but still super yummy. The Rosa(Alfredo& marinera on penne) was delicious. Also the house salad was great and the small was plenty big enough. Staff was friendly and old pictures were cool. Garlic bread was good too.

Three of us went to Mici's for lunch today. The place was very clean and staff attentive. We had a coupon for a BOGO pizza so we ordered 2 16" pies, chicken Cesar salad and a caprese. The salad & caprese came out first and was very good. Pizza was next - one formaggi & one pepperoni. Both were very good traditional NY style. Crust was flavorful and they definitely didn't skimp on the pepperoni. We had so much there's leftovers for dinner. My daughter got a small lemon gelato - it was fresh and flavorful. This spot was simple, fresh and flavorful. We'll be back!

Yelp
Giving a 1 because kids eat free but other than that, this food is bad. It's reheated and flavorless-type Italian food. It seemed very expensive for the amount of pasta you got and for it to be maybe lukewarm. It actually caused some emergent stomach problems! One and done for us!

Joseph H.

Yelp
Well, maybe a 4.5 but pizza the way it should be. New York style and fresh. We really enjoyed the Molton Carne.

Dan F.

Yelp
Decided to order pickup since we were looking for something different than the normal options on the west side of Frisco. Ordered a 10" Caprarola - pepperoni, sausage, onions, mushrooms, green peppers Time was great. Pizza was ready as promised. Very little wait. Thin crust was not as crisp as I was expecting. The outer crest was but the main part of the pizza was pretty soggy. Meats were good. Would have liked a little more but fine. Same as veggies. Mushrooms were good. The sauce was a little underwhelming. Cheese was decent in amount but lacked a good mozzarella flavor. 4 out of 5

Yelp
I moved here from Addison where the food selection is bountiful. I have tried every single Italian place in Frisco little elm - and this place nailed it. My forever go to for quick Italian going forward. 12/10 stars will and would eat here again. thank you team mici!

Yelp
Wanted to try this place when I drove by a a couple of weeks ago- never heard of it and sounded tasty- I checked out their website and everything looked authentic and seemed to have a great story behind it. Stopped in for dinner with family. We ordered some kids pizzas- pepperoni, and I tried a meat and veggie pizza. I also thought it would be nice to share an antipasto salad- prices were reasonable-high. Kids pizzas were $5 plus 1.55 for a drink. Salad was $12. The young man at the register was nice but seemed distracted- maybe a bit shy, it was hard to hear him. We grabbed our drinks and a table and waited. They brought out the salad. I had ti ask for small plates and silverware. I was mixing the salad and noticed something not so pleasant in it. I did take it up to cashier and patiently waited for someone and he was kind enough to refund the meal. Whenever that happens I usually get ooged out and want to pass on the remainder of the meal- but they were very nice and apologetic. The kids' pizzas arrived and they were pretty greasy, the pepperonis were pools of oil. Eeek. The kids were dabbing their pizzas with quite a few napkins. Super sweet people but maybe they are working out some kinks. I hope it turns around.

Yelp
Mici is a fast food Italian restaurant with a Gelato stand (did not notice it when I was there but will come back for it for their Sunday special). The food came out fairly quick, even the pizza, but it wasn't memorable. Pizza was too thin to where it came apart but the crust was delicious. The Caesar Salad needed more flavors of anchovies and parmesan. The Alfredo was not good. My friend usually finishes his dishes quickly, but he left half of it back because it wasn't worth finish eating. There's an $8.99 lunch special that includes a 10" pizza and drink and I thought that was a great deal. After trying their pizza, I wouldn't waste my money.

Kelsey H.

Yelp
Food was unbelievable. They're a full Italian family owned restaurant and they're very reasonably priced. And you get two meals out of one depending on how hungry you are.

Nicki S.

Yelp
Pizza was good, lasagna was good. Salad was huge and definitely fresh! You get your moneys worth there. The spaghetti, well that's another story. It tasted like something you would create at home with a jar of sauce. It was not good at all. And a bit pricey given what you get. Service was friendly. The kid running the register was spacey as they get but at least nice, even though he forgot to give us a number and our drinks.

Margi B.

Yelp
Our group enjoyed three different pasta dishes after church today. The Caesar salad was fresh. We had the lunch special so price was very affordable. Service was friendly. Look forward to trying the pizza next time!

Angie H.

Yelp
Was excited to see a new restaurant close to home, but Amici was not that good. The staff is very friendly, but the food has a lot to be desired. The Caesar side salad was decent, and the pizza was ok but had very little toppings. I had the antipasto salad minus salami and pepperoni with added chicken. It was mainly greens with few toppings, rotten tomatoes and extremely dry chicken. It was $14, which was expensive for the quality of the food. Can't say we would dine there again.

Lynn L.

Yelp
Very expensive. Not worth it. Tortellini with peas and prosciutto.. I think I only found a couple of squishy overcooked peas, and 1-2 tiny pieces of prosciutto. The pasta was overcooked and mushy. The sauce was way too thick and very bland. This place apparently mass produces all the ingredients and then slops them together. Not ordering from here again.

Yelp
This is a new spot to me! My husband and I popped in for lunch! I was pleasantly surprised at how great the food was. He had pasta and I had the pizza. Love the seasoning and crispy crust! Delicious! We will definitely be back! Hats off to the staff who were served us too!

J E.

Yelp
5 out of 5! Houston was a very nice employee. There was a hiccup in our order and he replaced it. He also kindly gave us some drinks, as well. This young man went out of his way to be really kind to us. Earlier in this day, I had lost my job and I felt that my order being messed up by the third party company was just another thing that went wrong today. His kindness and generosity restored my faith in humanity. Thank you for your kindness, Houston! Oh and the food was perfect!!!

Becca W.

Yelp
Food is exceptional! The employees are all very nice as well. Highly recommend to all craving Italian food.

Felipe L.

Yelp
Went to Mici Italian restaurant with the wife today, I don't know, I wanted to like this place , but food was ok, felt like they threw it all together and microwaved it, it tasted ok, but nothing special, the wife had the creamy pesto and me the Cortinese, these were their recommendations, and we started with a Caprese salad, not what I am used to seeing, but not too bad, the bread was kinda hard and cold. I am used to getting my orders piping hot, and creamy, as well as the fresh bread. This was more like a Super fast food Italian, the food came out Quick! The people working there were nice, and not sure about the location, it's better suited for take out, as parking is super limited. Told the wife I probably would not be back

Melissa H.

Yelp
Food is good. Service not so much. 2nd time to visit (9/30/22) and was waiting for my take out order that I placed online. The girl behind the counter said my food wasn't ready yet, but it appears she never checked. She let me stand there for 20+ minutes before another boy asked my name and looked in the large black takeout bags and it was sitting there the whole time! I guess that's what you get when you have teenagers running the place.

Stefanie D.

Yelp
The people are so friendly, but ate there twice and the food isn't good. It tasted over cooked in a microwave, the gelato is amazing though and so is the bread. I got lasagna so maybe try something else.

kalon X.

Yelp
I'm in love! My new favorite pizza restaurant - delivered with care and the staff; mainly Houston was very helpful I really appreciate the assistance it was definitely needed after a long day, thank you so much! Will for sure recommend to friends and family 10/10 :)

Christopher M.

Yelp
Tried this place for the first time last night, got 2 pizzas and a salad. The food was ok, pizza nothing out of this world. There are plenty of better pizza options in the area. However, the biggest disappointment of the night and the reason for the score is that they charged me $5.94 for 2 small sides of ranch (1 for each pizza). It tastes EXACTLY like Hidden Valley. I'm sorry but basically $6 FOR RANCH IS INSANE. Definitely will not be back.

Rhonda J.

Yelp
We frequent casual Italian restaurants and I have to say Mici surpassed all our expectations. Best Calzone I have every tasted. My husband loved the lasagna! We will order again.

York C.

Yelp
We have ordered to-go from here three times and been disappointed each time. The pizza is average at best. In addition, twice when I ordered pizza they forgot that I was sitting in the restaurant waiting for my pick up order and let the food sit 20+ minutes each time. So average pizza that was cold to make it even worse. Decided to try pasta instead. I love lasagna so I gave it a shot. Not only did I not get lasagna, and we checked our order after the fact to make sure it wasn't our mistake, but the penne pasta they gave me didn't even have a meat sauce on it. To add to my disappointment, the dish was not good as the tomato sauce was too acidic.

Katy B.

Yelp
Ordered delivery on a Thursday. We were excited to try this place after getting a mailer with their menu. Orders: calzone & Alfredo with bow tie pasta and chicken. The good: the calzone The bad: - the online order form didn't match the menu we received on mail. Ended up having to call in order. Person taking order was confusing, but we got the order in. - delivery driver called because he was in front of our house. I went outside and he wasn't even on our street. - the Alfredo was TERRIBLE. It seemed as if it was left overs the restaurant warmed up. The sauce was not sauce, but rather kind of chunky on the noodles like when you warm up pasta leftovers. Also ordered basil in the Alfredo, but unfortunately that wasn't added. Not a big deal, but it added to the disappointment. I'm the one in my family who prefers pasta so i doubt we will give it another try. My Alfredo was so disappointing.

Takelia S.

Yelp
Love this place!!! The Caesar and Antipasto salads are so amazing!!! I usually make my own calzone and it never disappoints. The staff is super friendly. I'm not a big Italian foodie but I could eat here everyday. Oh and the spaghetti and meatballs is simply delicious. Will definitely be back sooner than later.

Eric G.

Yelp
Great family owned pizza joint. We has the Chicken Pesto pizza. Got a deal for a free cheese pizza, too.

Duante H.

Yelp
Great food!! Great customer service!! The team they have is super nice!! And that manager Houston is amazing!

Karl G.

Yelp
Give Mici Italian a chance. Great food and spot on in the Italian food arena. Pizza's are definitely on the Italian side (awesome no wet spot on the cheese and greatly toasted). All their dishes are good too. So its not Italy or a fancy restaurant, they sure do make good food!!!

Jorge C.

Yelp
The pepperoni pizza here may be the best kept secret in D-FW. Ask for it well done! Wow! It's perfect in house or Togo.

Nathan M.

Yelp
Food is sub par and for the value and size not impressed. Sorry guys. Service was great. Ambiance is simple.

R H.

Yelp
Soooo good! Pizza was perfect (and From nY and a total pizza snob!) and the salted caramel gelato was incredible! Cant wait to try more items on the menu! Service was quick and polite. Atmosphere inviting. Owner is super nice guy!

Andrew K.

Yelp
We'll definitely give it another try. I am between a three and a four. They messed up our take out order, but the manager was great and quickly rectified the issue over the phone to my satisfaction. I'll give them some leeway with grand opening growing pains. One thing that did bother me was the topping/extras nickel-and-diming. When ordering online if you take a topping off, you get no credit. Fine. Add a topping and it's $2. $2 for olives, mushrooms, or a small extra dressing for a salad I think is excessive. By the way, this includes substitutions. Can't switch out one topping for another without a charge. They need to fix that. Other than that the prices were very fair. Like an earlier reviewer I got the antipasta salad. Mine was very good. I did need to add some of my own dressing at home since the single cup isn't enough so I wouldn't order it dine in. Small pizzas are 10", priced fairly, and looked really good. Family's comments were the pizzas tasted good as well. Gluten free options are pizza crust and zucchini noodles for pasta.

Brad T.

Yelp
Mici Italian in Frisco is great food at a good value. They have daily lunch specials and they serve the same quality at lunch as dinner. The host of the restaurant, Houston, always has a smile and is in a good mood. If you're feeling lucky, ask him to play a game of Rock, Paper, Scissors for fun!

Adrienne M.

Yelp
Stopped by cause I heard some good things about it. Let's just say we got back from Italy a month ago and this was the closest thing to the pizza that we have found . We got the Margarita pizza and it was delicious. Also the Caprice salad. Which was so flavourful . We did have to ask for Olive oil and balsamic on the side but that added to the flavor so delicious. Maybe having some good quality Olive oil on each table might be a nice touch but we're definitely coming back bringing the kids because they have GELATO!!!

Nika N.

Yelp
Me and my mom came in for lunch today. We got the creamy pesto and Alfredo with chicken. We both got sick afterwards from the food and overall not a good experience. The portions are too small for the amount the charge for (or at least I would hope higher quality food with the pricing). The chicken was undercooked and soggy. If you are getting pasta from there don't get meat in it because it will be undercooked. The staff also definitely needs more training as the gelato we got was not properly put in the cup. If I'm getting 2 flavors in a medium cup I would expect that it would be half one flavor on the right and half one flavor to the left. Instead they put one flavor on the bottom and one on top which made it difficult to enjoy both flavors and had to ask for an extra cup to empty out one flavor. The salted caramel flavor also tasted more like coffee flavor with chocolate than a true salted caramel. Will probably never return back

Scott K.

Yelp
Pizza was very good. Service was prompt and friendly. The lunch special was an excellent value and more than enough food (10" pizza and drink). The only minor thing I could point out is the caprese salad should have balsamic vinegar in addition to the olive oil. Overall, good experience!

Brandon G.

Yelp
If you want fast food/cheap pizza don't go here. If you want quality in every bite, this is your spot. Best red sauce flavor I have had and if you like sausage on you're pizza that has great flavor too. Good crisp crust with good seasoning. The reward system sends free stuff so that was an added bonus.

Vishal P.

Yelp
Good staff, good food, quick service, limited selection, overall a good experience but unsure if we would go again

Tracy C.

Yelp
Excellent food and fast service! They have lots of great options to choose from. We will definitely be back!

Jane S.

Yelp
Don't waste your money coming here - for a hole in the wall Italian the food is pricey, portions are small and everything is clearly pre-cooked and reheated as entrees were ready in just two minutes. Staff are rude and incompetent. As for the food itself, I'd give it zero stars if I could.

Carlos S.

Yelp
Came in yesterday for lunch. I ordered the Cesar salad and Rosa pasta with chicken. Was not expecting this high quality of food at a fast pace restaurant like this. Cesar salad was better than I have received at some steakhouses. For sure will be coming back

Jill B.

Yelp
They have only been open for a little over a week and I've tried it twice! I've had the pizza and the tortellini and both were fantastic. Looking forward to going back and trying something new!

Jennifer P.

Yelp
I really like their pizza and pasta. Definitely a frequent customer. And their gelato is the best around.

Mick F.

Yelp
The place was clean and the staff was friendly. We didn't like it when we went, though. The beer bottle caps were rusted out, which was odd. They didn't put tomato sauce on our pizza, the used olive oil instead. My kids got Alfredo and spaghetti. They both took a bite of their food and didn't want to finish it.

Kim S.

Yelp
Cute little Italian restaurant, new in this location but menu states that they have been around over 10 years. We ordered the Calzones which were really good size, bread was really good and the cheese too. I had the Margarita and only disappointment was there was no basil as advertised, lots of tomatoes that made it still pretty good. Also had a pepperoni which was also lacking. Chicken Alfredo was good. Garlic bread was nice and crisp but not very garlicky. Overall good for takeout and hope they add more to their calzones in the future.

Salvatore L.

Yelp
Ok, missing truly Italian food and not having found it anywhere in the Dallas area, I broke down. With high hopes, my wallet open willing to pay most anything for an authentic slice of lasagna and a fine glass of Chianti, we tried Mici's. I should have walked away when I saw the menu board, but I'm desperate. The description for the lasagna reads a "third generation recipe with Tuscan meat sauce". I should have known better. The recipe must have been copied incorrectly somewhere over the years. No ricotta but mozzarella, no meat in the "sauce", no Tuscan but tomato, the spice bottle must have been misplaced. Sadly, my quest continues.

Zane M.

Yelp
Nope. Never again. DoorDash took over an hour and a half (30 minutes expected) when I decided to call they said "our system doesn't recognize DoorDash" and "there is a language barrier" after finally receiving the order, it was wrong. Receipt is correct, order is not. I guess the language barrier is really an issue.

Angie A.

Yelp
I went to eat here today. I was not happy with the service. First of all I ordered a pizza without sausage. They still brought me one with sausage. I proceeded to take the sausage out and then the lady came to the table and I told her. She apologized and said she told them not to put sausages. She then told me they would re make the pizza. I waited and waited and my kids started eating there food. At this point I'm starving and started again to remove the sausage and eat my one slice of my by now cold pizza. I left my kids finish eating and we started to get up when the girl came up to me and said they wanted to make it right and make me my pizza. I said ok. I sat back down. 20 mins later I'm tired of waiting and the girl comes back to tell me. Sorry they decided not to make it. At this point I'm done! I'm not going back!

Angelica A.

Yelp
this restaurants food has made a reviewer out of me. i love love their food. absolutely abhorrent at delivery. not once have i received my order even semi on time.
