Micro Espresso - Vieux Port

I stopped by Micro Espresso for a quick cup of coffee while exploring Montreal, and it was a great find. It’s a very tiny spot—definitely more of a grab-and-go place—but the coffee was absolutely delicious. The gentleman working there was incredibly kind and welcoming, even letting me borrow his charger, which was such a thoughtful gesture. There are a couple of stools by the bar if you want to stand or perch for a minute, but it’s not really a sit-down-and-relax café—more perfect for a quick stop when you’re on the move. Overall, a great little coffee spot with excellent coffee and genuinely nice service. Highly recommend grabbing one if you’re nearby and on the go ☕

My favorite coffee in the whole city! They are the nicest people ever and I'm obsessed. I love their coffee and blends they have are so different and tastes great. They give many options and even have sweet treats! I can't recommend this place enough to people. I know everyone runs to cafe olympico but why would you run to big branded coffee shops with generic coffee when we have so many hidden gems like this one. They have I believe 3 locations now and for a small buisness that's incredible. Love them!

AMAZING coffee 🤤 so balanced. We are cappuccino drinkers, so it was well-made. Loved the aesthetics too — minimal, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed.

I mean one of the most rich of flavours coffee I’ve had for a while! I love the decoration (minimalist), coffee smell and taste! It’s a cute spot to read a book and enjoy coffee! They also don’t spam you with music! it’s audible enough for ambiance but not invasive ! and the stuff is extremely friendly! and Barista is good

A cute little coffee shop hidden in a corner of Old Port. It’s mostly for takeout but they do have a tiny seating area. Great coffee served by friendly and skilled baristas! I always go for an iced latte which is definitely one of the best I’ve ever had in Montreal. Also LOVE their small batch roasted beans for espresso and cold brew. Update: still my fav place 2 years later!

This was one of the tastiest espressos that I had while I was in Montreal. The owner asked me which bean I would like for the drink so I knew I was in for a treat. It’s in a very small space in the old Montreal but I was able to secure a seat at one of the three chairs at the bar. The cafe itself was well decorated and a lot of people came and went while I was enjoying my coffee. I would definitely come back in the future and would recommend anyone who likes a good cup of espresso to check it out!

Tiny space with a few stools at the bar and great service offering excellent espresso and great pastries. Knowledgeable and professional/friendly staff. Offering up their own roasted beans. Highly recommend!
