A Hidden Gem for Pizza Lovers at University Mall Located next to Dillard’s at University Mall, MidiCi is a delightful pizza spot that’s part of a small but growing chain found in a few states. Luckily for us, there’s one right here in Orem! What makes MidiCi stand out is its diverse menu, offering a variety of unique and flavorful pizzas that make every visit a fun experience. The ordering process is simple: place your order, grab a drink, find a seat, and wait as your pizza is freshly made and brought to your table. On my last visit, I tried the Orange Creamsicle drink—an interesting and refreshing choice. Having dined here three times now, I’ve sampled four different pizzas, and two have become my clear favorites: The Fig, the Pig, and Goat—a perfect blend of sweet and savory flavors—and The Devil’s Spicy Pizza, which packs a satisfying kick. The pizzas are cooked quickly and served hot, making for a great dining experience. (Check out the pictures!) If you’re looking for something on the lighter side, I highly recommend the Greek salad. It’s generously portioned and perfect for sharing, though if you’re having it as your main meal, it’s definitely filling enough. Overall, MidiCi is well worth a visit, whether you’re a pizza enthusiast or just looking for something new to try. With its wide variety of options and fresh ingredients, there’s something for everyone!

“Had a great experience! We accidentally ordered the wrong pizza, and the staff was incredibly kind and understanding—they replaced it for us without charging anything extra. The service was warm and attentive, and the food was absolutely delicious. You can really tell they care about their customers. We’ll definitely be coming back!”

I don't speak Italian, so I'm probably wrong about this: I'm going to assume that MidiCi stands for mediocre. Alright, it probably doesn't, but if this place did have an English name, "Mediocre" would be the perfect name for it. The pizza is ok, not anything to write home about. The drinks are self-serve, but the staff still wants a tip. They don't take cash, only card. The whole place is fairly crowded and has a fancy school cafeteria vibe. I've been there twice, and both times they've forgot someone's order (most recently, they didn't make 3 of the pizzas we ordered, but they did make 4 of the 7 #mediocre)! This would all be tolerable if the pizzas were a great value, but they're not. The small pizzas are typically $18 each and not very filling. After spending about $25 (tax and tip) and not feeling satisfied afterward, I'm not interested in returning. Save you money and go somewhere else. Avoid mediocrity!

Google
This is a great pizza place in Orem. The vibes feel good, and the staff are really friendly and helpful. The ZA pizza was the highlight, with a “pink sauce” base with some really yummy meats. This is a classic and I always look forward to going here!

Google
We had a great night at MidiCi The Neapolitan Pizza Company. The atmosphere is fun and unique, which made for a really enjoyable experience. We ordered the double pepperoni pizza, and it was really good—crispy crust and plenty of toppings. My girlfriend had a salad, and she said it’s her new favorite. The service was excellent—friendly and quick. Overall, we had an awesome time and will definitely be back.

Google
They have created some wonderful flavor combinations at this place. There are many different combinations of things to try. I liked a very unusual but flavorful Pizza called " The fig, the pig, the goat". The location is very rustic and comfortable for groups or individuals to hang out in. The service was working hard to get all the pizzas made for our group. They seem very dedicated to trying to be good at their job. The only downside is that the price is quite high for this kind of pizza. It's considered fancy gourmet, I guess.

This place is very standard and average pizza place. Nothing really stood out much. It's alright.

Google
I’ve been wanting to try this place mainly because of how I liked the logo and name…well, they definitely do well on the presentation aspect. The inside of the restaurant looks pretty nice and trendy. The pizza all looked sooo good and came out looking perfect. I didn’t try the fancy pizzas and think I would have given it an extra star for the uniqueness, also assuming they tasted good. The margarita was good…got it for the price. Definitely will come back next time to try the more expensive pizzas.

Yelp
Good not great. Price is fair for what you get. The ingredients are good quality. They should be serving some cocktails, and wine. Shame they don't. I know it's the pizza company, but serve some pastas too. So much potential. Would come again if others wanted to come, but this won't be a suggestion I give.

Yelp
Midici is super great! It had been at least three years since I have been and I was reminded I need to come way more often! The margherita pizza was great! The tomato sauce is very high quality and super flavorful. I do wish the pizza itself had more basil on it. The Za was star of the meal and so great. It had the right amount of creaminess and spice. The Italian salad to start was really good as well! They use high quality ingredients and it shows! The parking situation is always a mess. I hate it. Looking forward to my next visit!
google avatar

Susannah H.

Yelp
Decently expensive but a chill vibe. Has some of my favorite pizza combinations and the wood fired crust is to die for. Burrata appetizer is a must and I want to go back and try everything.

Yelp
We used our Starving Student cards for bogo pizzas for us and our kids. Pizzas were delicious. Employees were great!
google avatar

Shauna C.

Yelp
The best pizza in town! It is fresh, perfectly cooked, and the flavors are perfection! Service is quick and friendly and there are spaces for groups big and small in their beautiful dining space. I got the Sweet and Spicy, my personal favorite. I devoured most of it, so the picture is the take home box :)

Yelp
For being a last minute lunchtime decision, I was very impressed with Midici Pizza. The pizza is wood-fired to order, so you know it's going to be good. My coworker and I shared their special (Italian something) and we're not disappointed. We also split the Greek salad which was fantastic. From the outside, Midici doesn't really scream WE HAVE AMAZING PIZZA! But once you walk inside and see the massive pizza ovens, you know you're in the right place.
google avatar

Yelp
A relatively new and classic Provo spot; we love coming here for a quick sit down bite. Our go to is the chicken Alfredo pizza which is delicious and good sized for one person! This go around we also tried the wings for fun and they were surprisingly very good! The staff is very kind and the vibes inside are great. It's fun to watch your pizza being prepared and then cooked in their wood fired oven. Great place!

Yelp
The eternal quest for the perfect crust continues...A neo-neopolitan style but closer to New York style. Thin center, chewy high gluten flour. Minimal rise on the cornicione, could be slightly overproofed as it was late at night and oven not real hot. Nice flavor. 8.5/10
google avatar

Yelp
My favorite pizza place in utah county! First of all the atmosphere is awesome! There's outdoor seating and lots of tables to accommodate big groups inside! The pizza though. The pizza is INCREDIBLE. They have some really fun and delicious flavors. The ingredients they use are always so fresh and delicious! I love the pig the fig and the goat. Perf ext amount of sweet and savory. I also love their classic margarita. Can't go wrong with that. I love that they are open late as well! Their house salad is also to die for paired with the cheese bread! A must try!
google avatar

Keith H.

Yelp
I really enjoyed this place! I got their gluten free crust and was really impressed! I'll be back for sure! I got the double pepperoni and wasn't disappointed. It said spiced but in my opinion wasn't any different than any other pepperoni pizza I've had.
google avatar

Yelp
So I spent 3 years in Naples and loved the pizza. I have only been able to get something close at Via Napoli at WDW. Until today...I was pleasantly surprised by the pizza, the sauce and crust where in point. Service was great, the folks behind the counter were super nice. Wish we had this place on the east coast.
google avatar

Brandon M.

Yelp
Gluten free pizza is good. I just wish the bottom got a little crispier where the sauce and toppings were.
google avatar

Frances G.

Yelp
It's alright, a little pricey. The staff were pretty friendly. I ordered a Margherita pizza and it was so burnt. This place uses wood fire, however my pizza was like a burnt crisp. I've had wood fire pizza before and never had this issue. I could just taste burnt food and the occasional tomato sauce. My friends (6 of us) had similar issues despite ordering our own different types of pizzas. We didn't finish our pizzas because it wasn't enjoyable or tasty. The pizzas themselves didn't really pop out to us either. The wait wasn't bad at all, they were pretty quick. However, we all agree that we won't come back again.
google avatar

Niki V.

Yelp
Good food and friendly staff - even at 11pm! Would have loved beer with the pizza but I get it ;)
google avatar

Chuck C.

Yelp
I don't know what the hype is. Terrible pizza. Half baked soft gloppy dough. Waited 45 minutes for my salad. Won't return
google avatar

Kristy T.

Yelp
I really like MidiCi! I've been twice so far and have really enjoyed both visits. The pizzas are freshly made when you order them. We've had nothing but great service so far! They are Neapolitan style (as their name suggests, haha!) so a little different than your typical American style pizza but really yummy! I am obsessed with the Burrata, Melon, and prosciutto plate. Everything tastes so good together and the little toasts with balsamic glaze are a great addition! The interior of this place is also pretty fun with a couple of big gold pizza ovens they cook your food in! This is a restaurant we'll continue to go to!

Lorrinda S.

Yelp
We ordered take out and found the crust could not stand up to the toppings. The pizza tasted really good but either the crust was too thin or it wasn't crisp enough to hold the toppings.
google avatar

Adriano M.

Yelp
Great food. Bruschetta was a bit spicy. And a true bruschetta does not have any hot taste. And it did not have nearly enough fresh basil, only the mushy one missed we the tomato. Other then that, pizza was great.

Jon B.

Yelp
I guess I'm just not a fan of floppy thin crust pizza with premium toppings that don't taste any better than anywhere else but costs more. Got one that was supposed to have Parmesan and parmigiano-reggiano on it, which are technically the same thing but if you're going to differentiate and put American crappy Parmesan on with Italian parmigiano-reggiano then isn't that a conflict in authenticity? I still couldn't taste either cheese over the blandness of the Alfredo sauce, mozzarella, and chicken. Nico's close by is better for the price, but if you're a hipster go here for some reason.
google avatar

Tannon R.

Yelp
The first thing I want to hype about this place is the overall aesthetic. It's beautiful inside and one of the best features is how fancy and clean the bathrooms are. I also love the little inspirational/happy quotes on the mirrors in there. The trees and giant fire stoves make it feel like you're stepping into a different country. There was a time when our payment got mixed up due to a coupon and once we brought it to the attention of the staff, they were so helpful to fix it for us. The food is also super yummy and if I had to suggest 2 things it would be the vegan cheese pizza for all those lactose intolerant people out there, and the Nutella calzone with fresh berries!! Also I feel like this place is one of the only ones open in Utah past 10, lol. So if you're looking for a late night snack, this place is perfect!

Carli T.

Yelp
The pizza was good but when I went to eat my leftovers there was a black hair cooked into the crust. I went to pull it out and it wouldn't come out because it was literally in the dough. So that made me lose my appetite which was unfortunate
google avatar

Bridget L.

Yelp
Food is great here, their Italian wings are excellent and flavorful. I love the atmosphere of the restaurant, too. I knocked off a star because I do feel it's a tad overpriced for fast casual dining. You aren't waited on and seating is close together. But I always enjoy my meal here!
google avatar

Jason M.

Yelp
3.5 stars - I ordered delivery and while the pizza was tasty, it was actually a little underbaked - super pale crust. It also needed a little more sauce because it was kinda bland.
google avatar

Chase C.

Yelp
I totally love this place! The inside seating and style of the restaurant is very stylish and elegant. The menu is interactive on the screen and the order counter is also great to look at and captures your eye. On the other hand, some of the tables are close so you could feel like you're sitting with strangers instead of next to them lol The staff is always so helpful and friendly. They even have smiles on they're faces which makes it a 1000 time better of a customer experience. We got The Meats pizza this time and it was delicious. Perfectly cooked, no burn spots, adequate sauce and toppings evenly placed! Every bite was full of flavor and the cheese was devine. We also got the Cesar side salad and idk if there wasn't enough dressing or if the dressing had no flavor but it wasn't that great tasting...I would the Bruchetta instead.

Yelp
Craving some upscale takeout at 9pm on a Saturday, I walked into a bustling, warm midici and was happy to know they were open until midnight. As soon as I entered the building I was surrounded by a rich atmosphere. The lights on the ceiling are flickering just enough to make you think the whole place is lit by fire light. The large ovens in the center along with all the Italian toppings make you feel like you're in Italy. The place is bustling with people and would be a great date night or a place to take a group of friends! There was a long line on a Saturday night, but it moved very quickly. After I ordered my food, the cashier offered me a water cup so I could have a drink while I waited. How very thoughtful! I ordered the classic Margherita pizza but added prosciutto on top, and I also ordered the baked burrata. The time I entered the restaurant to the to time I left with my food was 20 minutes. The pizza is delicious! It's not the best Naples style pizza I've had in Utah, but it's pretty darn good. The prosciutto was excellent. The baked burrata however, was the star of the show! Sooo creamy on the inside and the flavor was perfect with that oregano. We ended up peeling the prosciutto off our pizza to eat with the burrata and it was heaven! I think we'll be back next time to eat in for a date or a dinner with friends. It just had such a great atmosphere and the smells waiting for you inside are to die for!

Yelp
Wow! What a surprise! Great customer service! Absolutely delicious pizza! The Bianca pizza was perfect! I will get it every single time! My friend had the Forest and it was excellent as well. The crust was perfectly crispy! Will be back for sure!

Yelp
The dilemma: it's 11:15 pm, you're craving pizza for the 3rd time this week but your body can't handle Little Caesar's again. You want something a little classier because you have some dignity. The answer: Midici! My favorite thing about this place is that they close at midnight every night. This is dangerous information to give to someone like myself, but the fact that I can get a nice pizza in the later hours of the evening makes me very happy. I recently reviewed Mozz and also gave it 4 stars, but for different reasons. Midici has a better tomato sauce while Mozz has better crust texture and cheese (the mozzarella dots on Midici's kept falling off). Both get negative marks for baking the pie with the basil on... basil deserves to be eaten fresh! Final verdict: I'd much sooner come back to Midici over Mozz because of the ambiance and the price. The interior feels more premium, the prices are cheaper, and the pizza is basically on par with higher end pizza places. I'll be back soon... but only after 10 pm.
google avatar

Marian S.

Yelp
THE best pizza I have ever had! My husband and I recommend it to anyone who will listen. I was gluten free for a couple years and their GF crust is just as good as their regular crust. Also, the Italian ice is fabulous.
google avatar

Mark W.

Yelp
I was a huge fan of the salad I got here! I'm not usually one for chicken Ceasars, but I wanted to impress the girl I was taking out, and got a salad. I am sorry that I didn't get the pizza, because it looked really good, but I know I'll be going back again, just without the cute Baptist girl from my Advanced Lit class. Overall the dinner was awkward because she kept avoiding eye contact with me and talking about her ex, but I really enjoyed the food.
google avatar

Yelp
On my first visit to Midici I registered my phone number with them, and lo and behold I received a text coupon for 50% off of a pizza. Hence we're back for a second visit. This time we tried "The Devil's" pizza and the meat and cheese board, which was highly recommended by my neighbor. And I couldn't resist another of the terrific basil limeades. (It's not diet but it's SO good.) The drinks took longer to get to us this time, and the pizza came before the meat and cheese board, which seemed odd? My daughter even went over to check on the whereabouts of the food and said the guy was working so carefully to prepare the meat and cheese board! So kudos to him for doing a good job. The bread and sliced meats on the board were good, as were the olives and honey. In the photo you can see that the cheese is all in chunks or grated, which made it sort of hard to eat. And it was a little weird to have the honey and mustard in plastic tubs. I wondered whether this might be a COVID thing. The Devil's pizza didn't have a lot of toppings on it, but that crust is so, so amazingly good. The kind of thing you think about at idle moments during the day...wishing you had some. Other than the peppers, the pizza isn't spicy--but the peppers are really spicy! Flavorful, though. I love that this place is open until midnight. We left not long before that, and there were a lot of people sitting and waiting for food, so I'm guessing they don't kick everyone out at midnight, but just stop taking orders?
google avatar

Brian L.

Yelp
Food and service were a 4 star. Liberal run business with NWO cashless policy! Fuck these COMMUNISTS! Never to return. Don't care what you think unless Managemnet jumps into a frozen river, that may change my views
google avatar

Cooper C.

Yelp
Bad. Bad. Bad. Service was bad. Food was bad. Wait was bad. Price was bad. Ingredients were probably as fresh as they say but it wasn't worth it. It was pretentious. I will never go back.
google avatar

Angel Y.

Yelp
A decent pizza place if you wanna have Italian pizza instead of American style pizza. We ordered the Margherita & Prosciutto Pizza and House Pesto Pizza topped with Rosemary Ham. The Margherita pizza is fresh and light, but the whole flavor is a bit plain. The pesto pizza has more flavor to it, I like the flavor of the pesto topped with rosemary flavor from the ham. Overall, it's a good place to try if you want authentic Italian pizza in the Provo/Orem area.

Maya L.

Yelp
Great food but awful service. I was there alone with my little toddler and it was hard for me to carry the drinks, pizza, high chair, and dessert that we got and all the workers just watched me struggle. I sat down and we started eating then I asked one of the employees for a napkin and she pointed to the back of the store and told me "they're over there" . We also went here the night I got engaged about 20-30 mins before they closed. I was still thrilled with excitement from the previous event and wanted to eat at my favorite spot! The workers seemed so bugged to have us there especially the main guy we always see with tattoos. They served us our pizzas in boxes when we said we would be eating in house. The waitress kept coming up asking if she could take our cups when we weren't even halfway done. I said not yet thanks and she rolled her eyes and walked away only to come back maybe 3 mins later and I told her sure take them and she snatched them away lol. We got out before they closed because I've worked in food and know how annoying it is to have someone come in close to closing time but I would never treat a customer the way they did. Definitely put a damper on our special night.
google avatar

Andres L.

Yelp
Definitely worth trying out if you've never been. All the way from the environment of the restaurant, to their pizzas, salads, and even their desserts, Midici is doing it right! Their staff is always pleasant and give good recommendations. Taste of food is always amazing! They even have a little section where there's olive oil and balsamic vinegar and other things you can add to your food. Which is great if you like a little extra on your salad or even pizza. My favorite here is the simple margherita! My go to salad is the Italian or the Greek Gorgonzola. Regardless of what you choose, it's gonna be good! The only downside here is their soda machine. They used to have the fancy one where you have a million different options (if you've seen them you know what I'm talking about) but now, they just have a simple fountain machine with like 8 choices. I will even go ahead and comment on their bathrooms being pretty fancy for a chill place like this. Although they are a bit dark, so don't miss ;)
google avatar

Riley R.

Yelp
We ordered the chicken Alfredo pizza and a classic margarita. Both pizzas had a good flavor and a really good crust. The Inside was really pretty with too big pizza ovens. My wife and I thought the Decour was pretty and that the service was timely and kind. Good for a date, a family, or a late night because they're open till late. I would say the only thing we were upset with was the flavor of the oil and vinegar. My wife and I love to dip our crust from Pizza into oil and vinegar. For whatever reason the flavor of that oil and vinegar was not, great other than my petty opinion on the oil it was a great restaurant slightly over priced.
google avatar

Jordon S.

Yelp
A solid option for lunch or dinner.. or breakfast, I suppose. :) There's never a bad time for pizza! Midici offers fantastic wood-fired pizzas. You really can't go wrong with any of their options, and you have the choice to make your own. Their caesar salad is excellent. I really don't have anything negative to say about them - give it a shot!
google avatar

Shannon W.

Yelp
Pros. Friendly staff. Quick service. Great vibe. Cons. Most all my pieces of pizza had very few toppings and the toppings didn't even really exist much until a third of the way down the crust. Very little chicken or cheese but lots of onions.

Maddix K.

Yelp
It i could rate this higher I totally would there is an big selection of items the food is great I got the New York margarita for my pizza and it was delicious my friend loved it as well we both got the garlic cheese bread with marinara the sauce was nice and rich in flavor we also got the Cesar salad and it was amazing it had so much flavor the wait was not to long and they were really fast the workers were also very nice will come again!!!
google avatar

Meagan L.

Yelp
This place is so good! I was super excited to finally get to try it. I ordered the chicken pesto pizza and it took me right back to Italy! I was very pleased with the quality and freshness of the ingredients, and it just tasted so darn good! Definitely recommend trying that pizza--I will have a hard time getting anything else. Aside from the great food, I really liked the atmosphere! They have fun music playing, a tree strung with lights, and a silent film projected on the wall. I was also impressed with how friendly the workers were. My only (small) complaint is that I went when it was a bit slow and some of the workers were sitting around while there were some dirty tables. Not a huge deal to me because there were plenty of places to sit, but just something I noticed. The pizza costs around $10-14, but the quality is definitely worth it and you can get two meals out of it. I can't wait to come back :)
google avatar

Amelia S.

Yelp
This was my second time back and it did NOT disappoint . The chill vibes, friendly and talented pizza throwing employees, and the yummy pizza will keep me coming back! I'd recommend coming earlier rather than later. At the usual dinner hour, service is quick, but it is CROWDED. So 5:30 pm worked great for us! The crust is fluffy, the sauce is tasteful, and the ingredients taste so fresh!
google avatar

Andrew L.

Yelp
We have been coming to Midici for over a year now, and have never had a bad experience in terms of food or service. Our go-tos are the sweet and spicy and the devil's, but we haven't had anything bad here. The pizza here is GOOD, don't get me wrong, the toppings are high quality, the crust is amazing, but because it is the Neapolitan style, the crust isn't always super crispy, it will seem soggy at times, and some people aren't aware of that. But this is Neapolitan style, so its different from CPK or Blaze or some of those other places, so I won't compare it to that, but it is some of the best Neapolitan style I've had along the Wasatch front. You can sign up for some text messages that will send you deals and coupons and stuff, and that's great too.
google avatar

Sharlee L.

Yelp
Prices are good, pizza is good but the Nutella calzone keeps bringing us back- it's unique and delicious! We love both the berries and the banana versions-give it a try!
google avatar

Chris S.

Yelp
I tried this place right before the quarantine with my daughter. She had been there before and felt like I'd like it. She was right, it was well above average. It was like a higher-end version of MOD pizza. There's better pizza out there but this place is very solid and I would absolutely eat there again. The restaurant is comfortable and clean with pleasant aesthetics. The food was fresh and delicious and the flavors were distinct and delicious.
google avatar

Rose H.

Yelp
The pizza here is delicious! I got multiple and shared with friends, and they were all great. I can't remember all of the ones I got, but the chicken pesto pizza truly stood out and I need to get that one again, even if I want to try other flavors next time. The crust is really tasty and it's not greasy. I would for sure want to come back for more!

Lidia J.

Yelp
Delicious pizza and salad. I love the crust, perfectly chewy and crusty. Desert is good too, hard to choose from the many yummy looking options.
google avatar

George G.

Yelp
This pizza is fantastic!! I have eaten pizza, at restaurants all over the world and this place is in the top 5 best pizzas I have ever eaten!! It's a very modern looking place and the guys behind the counter are very pleasant to deal with. I'll definitely go back, the next time I'm in the area.
google avatar

Shaylor S.

Yelp
This is the king of all pizza places in Orem/Provo. I know they have locations elsewhere but as far as my favorite pizza in the area, Midici's is the one. I absolutely love their margarita pizzas!! I don't even know how to explain it. Perfect combination of flavor. I could eat 5 of them right now. My only issue is that it can hurt your wallet to come here a lot and the pizzas are not very filling but they are definitely worth it. I love how they do the mozzarella balls that melt out across the pizzas. Everything is very fresh and tasty. The double pepperoni is my second favorite pizza here. Thin cut salami and pepperoni that just taste great. I love the fruit Nutella calzone they have. You have to try it. Loaded with tons of fruit and Nutella! They don't shortchange you on the amount of Nutella either. Customer service is impeccable. They forgot my friend's pizza one time and the manger came over and apologized. Gave him 2 cards for a free pizza. They do it right here. They bring you your food and clean up after you. The bathrooms are also super clean and fancy. Great atmosphere here.
google avatar

Jacob S.

Yelp
Medici is one of my favorite new additions to the local pizza scene. I've been twice this far and have been impressed with their menu (the variety), the quality of their ingredients and the speed and service they provide. The double pepperoni is wonderful. It has just the right amount of heat to take it up a notch and set it apart from other variations of the classic. My favorite is the prosciutto and truffle though. It is light and delicate but with a rich flavor. I'll be back again soon to continue exploring the menu!
