I can only explain my wonderful experience at this location, as we had a private event and no normal visit. The people, all of them working that evening have been very nice. All drinks have been created and served perfectly. The Pizza was very delicious, the normal and vegeterian one, but also the dessert was just tasty. If this is also the case on normal days, it's definitely a "to-go" place.

Located on the second floor of the Hillsdale Shopping mall (separated from the food court), authentic Neapolitan pizza! I spoke to the general manager, Juan who shared that their chefs are trained in Napoli, Italy to ensure that your pizza maintains the highest quality. The key is the temperature of the Wood baked oven, which produces a crispy crust. Their pizza dough is made fresh daily. We also tried the walnut and Gorgonzola salad, which was a large portion and delicious flavor. We were treated to their decadent Tiramisu, which finished the meal!

Nice Italian pizzaria and pasta place with wood fired pizza with authentic Italian ingredients. The main dining room is closed currently due to COVID19, but the outside patio is open for dining at the restaurant, and it is pleasent, with an overview of the grounds, festive lights and heaters. Service is friendly and efficient. The last time I went, the waiter baked me a fresh dessert "Nutella croissant" with fruit on the house just because we had been encouraging. It was different and completely delicious! This is a restaurant that deserves to survive the pandemic!

Ordered pizza ($22) and truffle fries ($11). The truffle fries were disappointing. They had nothing to do with truffles. They only had garlic basically on them. I wouldn’t order again. Pizza dough is phenomenal. However, it was a bit soggy in middle. Price wise, it was pretty more expensive than other Neapolitan places for the same size in the Bay Area.

The specialty is Neapolitan pizza with its thin crust, mozzarella cheese and tomatoes. Very fresh taste. We had the homemade sausage topping which was in small crumbles. It’s very different from your usual pizza with a sweet thick tomato sauce. Do set your expectations accordingly. Also had the burrata appetizer that was good. Good selection of beers on tap including Anchor and other Bay Area breweries, but $8.50 is a bit pricey. Restaurant is on the 2nd floor and spacious with tables well spaced. Service was friendly and efficient.

There’s a strong possibility that there is a ghost here and it likes messing with the ice dispenser at the soda machine. Apart from that this a pretty different type of mall restaurant, and I say that in the nicest way. The staff is very nice and friendly. The pizza is a chewy thin crust wood oven style, so if that’s not your thing there’s always CPK downstairs. Will probably be back and possibly even brining the whole office with me since it seems spacious enough for everyone to come here for after work gatherings.

I was reminded today why we never came back after the first time we came here when they opened the first time here at Hillsdale. If you are looking for a pizza, go somewhere else. Papa John’s would be better or go to Pizza My Heart or even Pizza Hut. Good thing we order two different pizzas because they have the worse Hawaiian version of all, totally murdered it. And their crust is nowhere near edible. The chicken wings and fries was the only good thing we have but why on earth you can’t order just wings without fries? No wonder they are always half empty while there are long lines on other restaurants nearby. And forget about getting the cheesecake, Cheesecake Factory is nearby.

Finally we have one in the Bay! Guess no need to go to Italia and or LA to get a quick Neopolitan pizza cravings...... Glad that it seems that Bay Area is slowly having better places to go to eat out. Also we were told there's a location in Concord so perfect when we're in the East Bay. Anyway what I liked about Midici is the quality of ingredients that they used, not the typical processed foods type. Since this location is still new, their service is not up to par yet compared to the other locations in LA, but there's always room for improvement. For first timers, pls make sure to move all the way forward toward the register (be prepared to provide tip upon purchasing and or tip prior to leaving). Lastly you may be seated and wait until you receive your delicious mouthwatering neopolitan pizza!!! 😋😋😋😋 enjoy
