Midnight Pantry - Review - Kings Cross - London - The Infatuation
"A midnight pantry rummage is something we’re familiar with. Only instead of stale cream crackers and a pimento-stuffed olive, this King’s Cross takeaway hut is all about cookies. Flavours like miso brown butter are good, while others like dark chocolate and Vietnamese coffee are too heavy on the coffee. Our favourite thing, though, isn’t a cookie at all, it’s the Thai milk tea. Sweet and creamy, while still having a nice, strong tea flavour from the black ceylon, it’s perfect on a sunny day when you need a little iced pick-me-up.

Food Rundown
Miso Brown Butter Cookie
More salty than sweet, this umami-rich cookie is thick as a blondie and has a nice chew to it.
Dark Chocolate & Vietnamese Coffee Cookie
The Vietnamese coffee flavour is slightly too overpowering, making the chocolate feel like an uninvited extra.
Thai Milk Tea
Despite the sweetness from the condensed milk, the strong tea flavour comes through. And it’s an excellent combination.
