Midtown Beach Dining & Social - Review - Midtown - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"FOMO no mo, frens. Midtown Beach is the photogenic space that delivers the social brag your timeline’s been missing. There’s poolside dining (around a central look-but-don't-touch pool), expensive private cabana rentals, gold silverware that looks like it came from an Etsy store, and enough fake greenery to retire Atlanta’s already-overused grass wall suppliers. Open every summer through fall and housed in the outdoor portion of what was once club Opera, the Midtown restaurant jumps from clubby Miami vibes on weekends to a quiet country club during the week. The drinks are good, the globally inspired entrees are skippable, but light bites like poke tacos and a fried jalapeño-garnished peach salad will satisfy the small part of you that’s actually here for substance." - Nina Reeder

Off the beaten path. Great location. Great service. There's a pool in the area. The bartender made the best margaritas. My daughter had the Bluefin Tuna Mini Tacos and those are her favorites. I had the Savannah Lumb Crab Cakes and really like the taste. The Sage Brown Butter Grouper was a hit too. Never had a fish cooked to perfection. My son had the Seafood Trio Mac and Cheese and he mentioned the seasoning and texture was perfect, Didn't like the way the food came out. Everyone got their dish individually, but overall a great experience!!!

Everything was top-notch, from the food to the service. Let me break it down for you. First things first, the food was absolutely delicious. The oysters, although a bit small in size, were packed with flavor and left me wanting more. And oh boy, those Wagu sliders! They had this incredible jam that added a unique twist. Trust me, it was a flavor explosion that you definitely don't want to miss. Now, let's talk about the tuna tacos. Wow, just wow! They were nothing short of great. The combination of fresh tuna and all the delightful toppings elevated this dish to a whole new level. And to add to the seafood extravaganza, the crab cakes were also pretty darn good. Each bite showcased the succulent crab meat, perfectly cooked and seasoned. Of course, I couldn't resist trying some of their signature cocktails. The espresso martini was the perfect blend of smoothness and a nice caffeine kick. It definitely hit the spot! And the lychee martini? Oh boy, it was a deliciously refreshing twist. I loved how well-balanced and enjoyable both of these martinis were. Overall, I had an amazing time at this place. The food was great, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was casual and inviting. I would definitely recommend giving it a try. I'll be coming back for sure because it's the perfect spot to enjoy good food in a friendly environment.

This place is exactly what Atlanta needed! Such a game-changer! The service and staff is top notch! Definitely a great experience! Get a cabana for bottle service! Your own couch, can, tv, and there’s even a safe in the buffet cabinet to lock up your valuables while you swim! VIPs come with towels but if you forgot one they have them for rent! And lockers for your stuff too!

My friend and I waited in line for 2 hours for them to tell us the tickets weren’t valid because we weren’t there before a certain time yet when I called before told she told us we just had to be in before 1 o’clock.so we paid $40 for the pool to not even be open. Security is so rude. Was literally yelling at every person they could for just standing there.

I was so excited to visit Midtown Beach Dining and Social for my birthday and my expectations were just exceeded in EVERY WAY. The waitresses and staff were so kind and accommodating with providing shade and fans for my friends due to the hot weather, constantly checking on us and just overall giving top tier service. The food was absolutely amazing and so were the drinks! The location is beautiful and aesthetically pleasing, so I got really great pictures there. I haven’t been to any other restaurant in Atlanta that has checked all my boxes but I would 110% recommend checking this spot out. Again, shout out to the waitress staff they truly made the experience unforgettable. Can’t wait to go back!!

People in these comments have no palette and it shows. The food was Mediocre to say the least. 45 min AFTER placing our orders they came to inform us that there was no shrimp in which 6 of us happen to have in our orders. And had nerve to bring out a $1000 bill (TIP NOT INCLUDED) insane! So many things wrong with the structure of this place. The bartender was nice. Manager lacked professionalism and had a nasty attitude. The pool and the basic green grass walls “where you see all over Atlanta food establishments” aren’t worth the inconvenience. Your welcome.

Atlanta FINALLY has a poolside club where you can either lounge or dance to the music. Now we don’t need to travel for a good time!!! Atlanta now has it all. Midtown Beach Club has great staff, great drinks, and even better food!!! For sure my new stomping ground 🔥

The Eric Roberson concert was switched to this venue, which used to be The Crescent Room and the venue still bumps like it's 2005! My only strike against the setup was that the waitress did not notify us that our entire tab of 2 booths would be on 1 tab. The bartenders were pouring righteousness amounts, the sound system was clear, and the DJ who opened the set was 👏👏👏👏👏
