This was a nice chill bar 🍸 to hang out at. The bartender was friendly and food was great. It had a bit of a "Cheers" vibe as a person at the end of the bar feel asleep 😴 and another person on the other side of the bar knew the guy and woke him up.

Wow!! Glad we found this Gem 💎 the food was 5 Star. I have a Seafood Allergy and this place was very accommodating and made sure I did not get cross contamination. They cook seafood with the fried chicken and everything else in with fries. The nachos are cooked with the fries also and man were excellent!!! Our server Charlotte was Amazing 🤩

My husband comes frequently to poker here and loves the owners. I finally came along to try dinner- I got the midtown burger and this is my new fave place now for burgers. The fries were a bit salty for my taste. I love that they have ginger ale as a drink choice and the staff are friendly. The girl behind the bar seems to be doing all the running while group of girls in black stand at the computer at the end talking for half an hour. Made me wonder how the service would be. I wasnt sure I'd get service if I just sat at a table, the presence of the staff seemed so scarce. I went up to the bar and asked for a menu. Food came out fast. Might be different on nights where there's not poker going on.

Ordered a Cajun pasta that cost 23.04 USD with tax. Food was nice. Surprise that the spicy level was just nice for me as I usually have a hard time finding spicy food in the USA.

Always an awesome experience eating here. Hayley always takes care of us. Awesome service and food!!! We come here almost every week and the food is outstanding every time. This is our go-to place to bring friends and out of town guests. My daughter lives in Virginia and looks forward to coming to Midtown Social every time she visits. The pizza is amazing, great portions and fresh ingredients. Our other favorites include the chicken ceaser wrap and the shrimp. They’ve also got the best fries in town. Come for the great food and stay for the friendly, personalized service. You can’t get this kind of experience elsewhere in Cookeville. The manager, Theresa, always comes by our table to check on us and she makes us feel like we’re at home here.

My family and I ate here for my birthday and it was a great experience. I thought the portions were good and the prices were fair. The cheesecake was delicious. Our server, Jessalyn, was excellent! She was so sweet and attentive and made for a great dining experience.

We stopped on our way to Nashville and so glad we tried Midtown. The deviled eggs were just spicy enough to be interesting and yummy. The grilled chicken Caesar salad had lots of meat and was tasty. There were so many other fast/quick food options and this was clearly a much better choice. Hannah was an outstanding server and just lovely to us.

The food was wonderful. My server and bartender was personal. Clean location. I recommend this to anyone. We go from Clarksville to the Smoky Mountains and will go there again with no questions asked. I am a hermaphrodite and the bathroom and location is so clean. Amazing high shelf LQ they have. Please go and experience what I did. It is rewarding.

Came to Midtown social to eat dinner when on vacation. The restaurant appeared to have only one waitress in the dining area which was not sufficient to provide an efficient level of service. Our waitress was very kind and friendly but just appeared to be responsible for too large of an area. We ordered three midtown style smash burgers with arugula, tomato, red onion, herb mayo and smoke provolone. I ordered mine medium rare and the other two well done. The food preparation time was extremely slow. It took the kitchen over an hour to prepare 3 smash burgers. We saw customers come sit at the bar after us and receive their food before us even though we ordered 20 minutes before they arrived. The server did apologize for the delay and offered a free dessert. However, we did not get the opportunity to choose. When the burgers did come out, they were all cooked well done and mine was not medium rare as requested. I didn't bring this to the servers attention as I did not have another hour to waste for it to be corrected. Otherwise the burgers tasted good. The burgers came with a side of fries. She brought out the skillet cookie for dessert that came with brown butter chocolate chip cookie, vanilla ice cream and whipped cream and caramel sauce. Although this was a kind gesture, the cookie was still raw in the center and was not cooked all the way. Also be bill was incorrect. One of the burgers came with a size of broccoli which was a .99 upcharge. Somehow the waitress added .99 cent upcharges to the other two burgers for arugula when the price of the burger on the menu included that ingredient. Again, did not bring this to the servers attention because at this point was just so frustrated about the wait time we were just ready to leave. The restaurant looks like a very fun and exciting place. There was karaoke scheduled for that evening starting at 10 p.m. They also had large screen broadcasting various sporting events for people to view. Overall this experience was a bit frustrating because of the long time it took for us to receive our food and incorrect bill. Very disappointing first experience.

We have been here twice. Once for dinner when we had a pizza and shared a salad. My advice? Get the pizza well done if you like a crispy crust/brown bubble pizza. It was a bit on the lighter side for us, but very good! Then another time for Brunch, and it was amazing! We did the bottle of champagne with the 3 juices and it was such a great time on a budget. It's definitely a relaxed and social setting, so the service isn't extremely quick. Come when you have some time to sit down and socialize :) We will be back!

Service was excellent.... As best it could be given how the kitchen delivered its food. My husband and I each got smash burgers and they were excellent. My side was roasted Brussels sprouts. The whole ones were ice cold in the center. I asked our waitstaff to please get me more that were hotter and I feel like the kitchen staff did an "I'll show this customer" and sent me burnt sprouts. I don't mean slightly charred - I'm talking burnt. Like to the point that I just burped and tasted what I think it would be if I actually ate charcoal. Even the 2nd glass of wine couldn't stop the charcoal burp. Staff took off the upcharge for the burnt Brussels sprouts - but there should have been an additional discount since I literally had only a burger with NO side.

BUGS IN MY FOOD !! i've gotten food from here 2 times and both times there was a bug in my food very disgusting not professional at all i found a big ass wing from what looked like a cicada on my salad and the first time i had some fly type of bug on my vegetables NEVER EAT HERE THIS PLACE MEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN or have a inspection done.

Cool place to get a quick bite for brunch second time here and Sayde is a very nice server, much better than our last server. Very low key and friendly. The mimosa fight is crazy but we are enjoying this place at the moment. Checknot out. Great place! Quiet not too loud and very well set up.

Empty after the lunch hour. Service was prompt and friendly. Food was good and filling. Cuban was on the salty side. The Swiss Mushoom Burger was light on the mushrooms but tasted good. it is also a double patty, so very filling.

the hot chicken is very good! i believe it may be a brunch item. would also recommend the smash burger. my favorite part is the board games

First timers here, we came in on a Saturday and were handed a brunch menu so we ordered the deviled eggs and a beer. To our surprise we were able to order off the regular menu as well. I had the wings and my husband had a pizza we both enjoyed our choices but the deviled eggs were less than good they pretty much tasted like Dijon mustard not at all what we expected. So all in all the service was good as was the pizza and wings. We will be back!

Was not impressed at all. Hopefully, this will help you guys a little in the future. Never got to eat after the inexperienced waitress said that my party of 6 only had 1 1/2 hr to enjoy the ambience and eat. She could have at least waited. Came on Saturday 18th evening, as promised, to my two brothers that are supposed to own the spot. Guess I also lost out on my $20 dollars that I had to pay in order to park myself on your lot. I don't know if it was just the day we went but everything was greasy, even the pasta I got. Service was okay.

Stopped in there for brunch. Had some bloody marys and ordered off the brunch menu. Drinks were great. service was great. place was clean and very big inside. Lots of TVs to watch the games.

It's a shame that this new business suffers from the nationwide understaffing situation. Hope it is resolved soon. We added a pic of the back side of the menu with the pizza selections. You're welcome. We found a good selection of beverages (Note to management- need a printed beer menu), food was very tasty & fresh. Brussels sprouts side dish was good- well worth ordering to share. The interior decor seems to be missing something- the lack of a theme to tie things together, perhaps? We were there on trivia night but didn't play. The trivia "dude" lacked even a hint of personality or enthusiasm. Just a voice in the background that droned on. Sad really. I look for great things from this place after it ages just a little bit more.

Midtown Social delivers an above-average dining experience with a very cool atmosphere. Their cocktails, while decent, complement the overall vibe. The salmon is exceptionally good. Overall, Midtown Social is a solid choice for a satisfying night out.

This place has an awesome atmosphere with nice big booths and nice decor. They also have several big TV's for viewing sports and a big bar. The food was also delicious. You can't go wrong with any of the appetizers and their Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich is money!!! And the service is great too.

This place is great! We had a big party that we were easily able to fit outside as we walked in. The server was so kind, and quick about the drinks and food, especially for 12 people. It was a beautiful day so sitting outside was nice. There was also trivia inside we didn't have a chance to play, but the MC was great!! I hope to go back because the gnocchi pesto pasta subbed with salmon is AMAZING!!

Our second visit just a good the second time. If you have a few minutes, much better than the fast food fare just off the Interstate.

Full disclosure, I am related to the owner, but that has no effect on my experience and my review (but might have an influence of why I traveled from KC to try). I love the vibe of this kitchen and tap! It is an open environment and I love the bar! It's a welcoming and light environment. The two huge garage doors that open to the outside area are a wonderful touch and function to let in fresh air. We sat in a booth by the greenery wall. I really enjoyed the menu, as there was not only a variety of item but also it's wasn't loaded with too many options. We decided on the spinach artichoke dip. It was so delicious! The dip itself had the perfect ratio of spinach to artichoke. The creaminess of the dip was just right, not too loose. I also have to applaud them on having the perfect amount of chips to dip. There's nothing I hate more than having not enough chips for the dip, but this was not even an issue. The chips were sturdy and allowed to dip with them with ease. For my main meal I ordered the chicken sandwich with fries (and a side of ranch). Where to start with this sandwich...I guess I'll start with before the bite. It looks delicious and you can see all the layers. I like how the chicken was not too small or too large for the bun. Ready for the bite (not going to lie I'm starting to drool thinking about this sandwich)? I really love the bun of choice for this sandwich. It was sturdy to hold my chicken and toppings, didn't get soggy from the herb aioli, and was soft. The chicken was very crispy, which I enjoyed as it gave texture to the sandwich. It even stayed crispy to the last bite. The herb aioli is the perfect sauce for this sandwich. Even though I was eating fried chicken, the aioli (and fresh arugula and tomato) made the sandwich fresher and lighter. This sandwich was so good I didn't put it down to eat my fries. The fries are delicious and pair well with the sandwich. I highly recommend getting a side a ranch to dip your fries into. Their ranch is amazing!! I can't wait to go back! Next time I plan and going when they live music is there.

This place has become our go too gather spot with the family. It's convenient and welcoming with a large open space. The board games give the kids things to do, the entertainment give the parents things to do. We frequent here often. I read some of the past reviews and I can say that I've not experienced poor customer service, EVER. It may be a little slow at times but this is the South. Patience is a virtue. Their food is always fresh and delicious! Our visitors always rave about midtown social and ask to come back a 2nd time before returning home. I come from that "entitled" state that should remain nameless (lol) so I'm hard to please and I love this place. Try it. U love it too. Order the garlic knots! Fried chicken salad and the Fried chicken and waffles on brunch days.

My wife and I discovered Midtown a couple of months ago and the 1st two times we visited everything was great. The entrees we have tried were all better than expected. Yesterday evening we went back for a third time and after we ordered the beers and the food we waited, and waited, and waited for our beers. After almost fifteen minutes of seeing servers come and go at other tables without our server returning with our drinks, I eventually had to go up to the bartender to tell her our server had forgotten our beers. To the bartender's credit, she retrieved the beers that had been waiting for pickup and poured new ones so we didn't get warm beers. At this point I was slightly aggravated and expected some sort of apology, but Sam the server just brought them over set them down and said here you go and left. Our food came out just after that and it was as good as we expected, but what turned out to be lousy service deflated the atmosphere. She did come back a couple of times after that but throughout the whole experience there was no friendliness about her. We will be going back but I will definitely make sure I don't receive her as a server again.

Great little neighborhood bistro, decent selection on tap, introduced us to a couple of really nice red wines, including Seven Falls merlot from Oregon. Consistently good food and service, nice staff, comfortable setting, and we love that our dog is welcome on the patio, and on cool evenings, we enjoy sitting by the fireplace. One of our regular spots to stop for a bite when out and about.

Had early dinner with friends. Boiled eggs, and supreme pizza. Both were good. Beer was good and cold. Waitress was nice. All in all a good experience.

I really wanted to go to Midtown Social because I am a vegetarian and I eagerly check all new places for signs of vegetarian friendly items. I checked their menu and right away noticed that they had great veg friendly items! Well, today was the much anticipated day to finally go. My friend Marcy said let's go to lunch and away we went. We went in at about 1:15 and there was a sign to seat ourselves which we did. Within two minutes our server had greeted us and took our drink order. She came back promptly with our drinks and to take our lunch order. We asked a lot of questions and for recommendations. She patiently and cheerfully answered all our questions and gave recommendations. We ended up ordering from the appetizer menu so we could try 4 things. We ordered deviled eggs, cheese curds with marinara, buffalo cauliflower and good old fashioned french fries. French fries can be an important menu item for vegetarians . I tried everything even the deviled eggs which Marcy took the bacon off of for me. Everything was clearly made fresh to order. The fries were nice and crispy and salty! The buffalo cauliflower was so darn good, light and crispy with a hint of spicy and served with a side of ranch. Marcy loved the deviled eggs. They reminded her of her Mom's deviled eggs and I thought they were delicious too and I'm not even an egg fan. Last but certainly not least was the cheese curds served with sides of marinara and ranch. Gooey, crispy, deliciousness amazement. I highly recommend Midtown Social. The service and food was on point percent. No negatives at all as far as I am concerned. We will definitely be back and take our husbands if they're lucky!

I was excited to try this restaurant. The website looked great and the food looked great. But in reality it wasn't. The service was extremely slow for two tables in the whole restaurant, but she was very concerned about the bar area and making sure it was stocked. I ordered the whipped ricotta. It had a pinch of olive oil across some arugula nothing else straight ricotta. I thought maybe there would be honey or balsamic glaze or something. I had a Caesar salad and had salmon instead. The salmon unfortunately was overcooked and the salad was soggy really soggy. The croutons were straight out of the bag. Nothing exciting about this.

So I noticed there was not many reviews and wanted to post a few dishes. We ordered the Buffalo wings and Buffalo cauliflower for the appetizer. These were cooked well and tasty. We ordered the chicken sandwich and the Philly sandwich both were not a hit. The chicken sandwich was bulky and mostly batter and very little chicken. The Philly was very standard Philly with a texture to the meat my son didn't care for and that's his usual go to for food choices. I ordered a side salad and the make your own pizza with pesto, pep, mushrooms, roasted garlic and artichoke. Which by far was the best thing we ordered out of everything. All in all the food of good and as expected for a typical dish. The environment is well thought out and a very drinks and appetizers kinda vibe. Maybe a ladies night out or date kinda place for sure. We were happy with the food and the price was about $72 so very average for the area and not a disappointment which is great! Also the refills need ice. Yes they fill the glass but the ice was really non existing. But please give it a shot and post your thoughts too!

My husband and I went here for date night. Waited 20 minutes for our first drinks. Food didn't arrive till almost an hour after ordering. Garlic knots were burnt and came out with our pizza. Waited another 30 minutes for our second round of drinks and our replacement of garlic knots. Neither came. We paid and left. I asked to speak to a manager and he never to come speak to us. He spoke to our server and never came to our table.

The restaurant itself is a nice place. Good number of TV screens for viewing. Pretty bar area, ample seating. Sorry to say I don't think there food was anything to write home about. The waitress forgot to turn in our appetizer order, we went ahead and ordered it again(garlic knots)how long could that take? We were finishing up our meal when they finally got them to our table, My husband wasn't impressed with his burger but said the fries were good. I had the Salmon, potatoes & steamed broccoli. The Salmon was over cooked, the potatoes were a little over cooked & barely warm but had pretty good flavor. The broccoli was steamed correctly but it was cold. The womans bathroom is cute, granite countertops, to bad they/staff/owners aren't taking better care of them, someone put some thought and money into those. The floors were sticky and I thought the bathroom looked dirty. I'm a firm believer in giving a restaurant a second chance, maybe MTS was just having staffing issues etc... maybe one day we'll go back and try it again.

Went for lunch, waited 15 minutes and got zero service. There were 5 people in there total so I don't think they were overwhelmed.

Do yourself a favor and try the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. It's phenomenal. Also the beef stew, pizza and garden salad and sausage soup are excellent..

We had lunch today and ordered the Cuban sandwich and the fried chicken sandwich. Both were good and made as ordered. Waitress was attentive and polite. Nice atmosphere and board games to play. I would go back again!

Elyse (not sure if I spelled it correctly, apologies if I did not) was our waitress tonight. She was extremely attentive and was on point for our waitress tonight. Husband got the burger and I got the salmon Caesar and it was delish! We also go the artichoke spinach dip for an appetizer. It was amazing! We'll be back to try more.

We entered the restaurant on Sunday at about 3 and noticed that many tables were not cleared of dirty dishes. So it seems they may be short of staff. I ordered the mushroom and onion smash burger without a bun and brussel sprouts. The burger came with 2 mushrooms and what seemed to be a teaspoon of onions. The burger was over cooked. I was also informed that they were out of brussels sprouts and was offered broccoli, which I accepted. But the broccoli did not come until I finished my meal. I also ordered a side salad and when they brought it out, I was informed that they were out of ranch dressing. The other couple had pizza, and they said it was OK. Every time I have gone to this place I have been disappointed. I won't be coming back

We stopped in on our way back to Knoxville. The food was delicious, the spinach artichoke dip was some of the best I have ever had. I don't usually leave reviews but the food was so good I wanted to take the time to give them a 5 star review.

This is not the old Willy bullies but a nice restaurant! Best Gluten free pizza I've ever had and great music. This place is better than all the midtown restaurants. Second time here.

I stopped by Midtown twice in the last week. Once to do karaoke on Saturday night, and once to meet a group of friends the following Wednesday. The food was solid both times. Service was great. Connor hosts the karaoke is is a very nice guy. Hailey (sp?) was the bartender Wednesday, and did a fantastic job. I would definitely recommend this place!

One member of wait staff was pleasant...the rest seem bothered to help you.

Loved it! Our server, Teresa, was friendly, prompt and knowledgeable about the menu She kindly made some good recommendations. We decided to try the deviled eggs...they were wonderfully seasoned, perfectly spicy, and presented well on a bed of lettuce with bacon garnishes. We opted for sandwiches- although the pizza at the next table did look really good. The Portabella mushroom sandwich had a fresh mushroom that was marinated just enough and cooked to perfection - A feat often not met in a bar environment where they are normally cooking burgers and chicken! But Midtown social's kitchen did a fantastic job. The sandwich had an abundant portion of fresh basil and the brioche bun was nicely toasted. My companion enjoyed the cheesesteak. Their good beer selection on tap along with an assortment of Sunday NFL games in the TVs throughout the place made this a perfect spot for a post- hike refuel and relax meal.

Was visiting Cookeville today and wanted to try something new to me. Had seen a great review on local social media so picked Midtown Social for lunch. It was a nice late December day and one table was seated outside with their dog. Good to know as we're always looking for dog friendly patios. Interior... huge space. Very industrial feel which I enjoy. Sat myself and was greeted within a minute. Server/bartender was friendly and checked in frequently. I ordered the garlic knots which were out of this world and gnocchi pesto which was also fabulous. So much chicken, just the right amount of seasoning. Yum! My only complaint would be the cleanliness. The menus were sticky, like REALLY sticky. Not just one, but all of them including bar menu. Paper was coated so could have easily been wiped down. It's an easy fix that means so much as a first impression. Sitting by myself I had way too much time to look around. Ceiling fans and ductwork were painted black and so the dust showed..... a LOT. So I'd give the food an easy 5 all day long! But clean up your act, literally. No excuse for sticky menus at such a promising place. A ladder and a vacuum takes care of the rest. I look forward to going back with my husband and since the menus are the first things I'll see, that will make or break the experience. Let's see if they pay attention and I can turn this in to a 5 star review reflecting their menu and chefs abilities!

Ordered the Buffalo wings. Server said the sauce was mild- it most definitely was not! I could only eat two (the entire order was knuckles, BTW- no actual wings). The rest I got to go and once I got home and washed the sauce off were mild enough to eat. The ambiance is OK, the service is fair, the cost is reasonable. But I won't be back.

Stopped in here on a Sunday afternoon with some friends and was impressed with both the service and food. We shared the Buffalo Cauliflower based on a previous review and was not disappointed. Two in our group ordered the pizzas and said how good they were. My husband got the Philly Cheese Steak and I had the Portobello Mushroom Sandwich..both were very good. I had a side of brussel sprouts and they were perfectly cooked. Crispy on the outside and tender when you bit into them. They have beers on tap and a full bar. My only suggestion would be to have more local craft brews on tap to choose from. Maybe this will change in the future. Bottom line is give them a try...we will definitely be back in the future!

We went last weekend for the first time. The place looks great but the service not so much. We sat at a high top directly in front of the bartender. There was also two waiters. It took us almost 15 minutes to even get a be right there. That took another 4-5 minutes. There was only 3 other table besides ours. They were so concerned with what's on their cell phones they had no time for the customers.

I'll start by saying the inside is very nicely done. Plenty of room for a large crowd. On a scale of 1-10 I'd give the food choices and quality and by quality I mean taste is a 6 at best. The worst thing a business can do is say I'm sorry we are out of that which was repeated over and over on our visit. Makes u want to say why don't u just tell me what u do have so I can order!!! Some food is ok and some not so good. Why places think they need to put a unique twist on simple food is beyond me. Everyone thinks they have a $12 hamburger. This place def does not!! How do u manage to screw up a hamburger? By putting things on a bgr u would never put on one yourself! Fail!!! In my opinion they have. I had the cheese curds which were very good along w the dipping sauces that came w them. I ordered the meat pizza which was good except for the sausage they used which was sliced sausage not crumbles and it was overpowering . Personally I don't like that type of sausage. I'd order it wo that next time if there is a next time. Probably not!! My wife had a salad w ckn which was very big. Not sure if she liked it I forgot to ask. Now to address their service or lack of rather!! It was total chaos! Orders going to the wrong tables as well as the wrong people. Waitress failed big time to return to the table to ck on drinks and customers needs. Insufficient staff to handle the large crowd created a bigger mess! We most likely will never return for mediocre food and terrible service. I'll predict this place won't last long. Too bad as it's a very nice place inside.
